3 Habits to being a successful trader I talked about mistakes traders make when trading in my previous post. And I thought why not talk about it from a different angle, and weeks later here we are. Basic rituals you need to a accustomed to as a trader; 1. Manage your risk: Always ensure you use stop loss and take profits orders. Ensure that you limit your risk to an amount you're comfortable with (maybe 5-10%). 2. Control your mindset: While some would argue that it is impossible not to be emotional since we are human. It is imperative that you control your emotions and psychological mindset when trading. Don't let your decisions be influenced by greed or fear. Don't let yourself get emotionally attached to a bad trade. 3. Study the market: Analyse the market with your strategy. Use hard data to guide your strategy plan like technical analysis or fundamental analysis. P.S: the hardest part of trading is actually going through with your plan. The market can be cruel Trade safe and stay green!! source

I suggest you use an exchange like Bitfinex or Binance. Although I think binance has banned US users. I'm not too sure about that now but just to be safe don't use Binance if you are in the US. You could also sell to a local vendor

My trading rule is buy bitcoin when it is low and sell when its high. But considering the current bull run. Is it safe to say $34k is not a bad price to buy bitcoin because I can't see a massive dip any time soon

My first rank up was on the 1st of January. I woke up to being a Jr. member. I felt really good. I honestly thought ranking up would be a very difficult task- don't get me wrong it isn't easy but I'm starting to get the hang of it. I follow senior members and above ranks so I can understand the Do's and Don'ts, and how to improve myself. This has helped me so far to make decent posts. Thank you all for your contributions. This is the mark of a new beginning. I will do my very best to make more meaningful posts and contribute to the forum.

INTRODUCTION Cyber crime is on the rise, they just seem to pop up everywhere on Facebook, Telegram, Instagram, LinkedIn you name it. They are relentless posing as people whom they are not. Scammers take advantage of ignorant people looking for investments and want to jump on the Bitcoin train. And because of their ignorance of the crypto space they are easy prey for scams. You would think if someone has been scammed once that would be enough. But scammers often target investors who have lost money in a risky investment. They'll contact the investor with an offer to help you recover your funds only to rip you off in the end. Most cases the victims of these scams do not share their story because of the shame that comes with losing your money. But keeping silent creates room for someone else to fall victim to the same scam. We have to keep up, educate and report these scams.
4 Signs Of A Crypto Investment Scam:
High returns and low risk - Promising unrealistic returns is popular among scammers. This of course is a red flag. Random texts from a beautiful lady telling you to invest - If you live long enough in the crypto space, every now and then you'd experience this. Pressure to invest- Scammers always try to rush you into investing so you don't have time to think about it or talk your friends about the investment They all follow the same or a similar script - beautiful girl, luxury cars and houses. Also check out for mistakes in their grammar.
Steps To Avoid Being Scammed Avoid investments if you don’t understand them or can’t get complete information about them. Don’t put your money in investments that promise huge returns with little to no risk. Be skeptical if you don’t receive a payment or have difficulty cashing out when due. They usually come up with silly excuses like delivery fee, tax and all that.
CONCLUSION Do your own research before investing in any project. Save yourself of the pain of losing your money. Report any suspicious account to the relevant authorities. We can all have a safe healthy community free from scammers if we do our part.

Institutional investors are buying Bitcoins and more people are now interested in Bitcoin since the price surge. I doubt if Bitcoin is going to "die" any time soon

Bitcoin is doing very well at the moment. There's no certainty how the market will turn out this year with intuitional investors coming into the market.

Sit back and think very well, if there is a way to extract emotion from a human being it means the human won't have feelings anymore, isn't that what robots don't have? It means that person is dead, my point is we can't get rid of emotions, it's a sign of been alive, too much of everything is where things can go wrong
Yes we can't get can't rid of our emotions but we can control them. Fear and greed are both dangerous when trading but you can control them and use as a tool for your benefit.
