If these Incas are the same that built the pyramids, I'd say the entire crypto world is about to get PWN'd ! Grin

If they ETF it, we should fuck them with a fork. Cheesy
3023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -- Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) -- on: October 24, 2013, 03:53:23 PM
No client, just the wallet.dat file. Wink

Ok, but it wouldn't help me since I wouldn't be able to get it to sync and if I mess it up I could very well lose that 1 Billion COL.

Can we wait a little longer?  If those coins ask for food I'll pay for it.  lol.

You won't screw anything up if you use a fresh wallet for testing.

I'm 99% sure the coins are safe because those TXs happened long before the most recent update/fork.

With all the uncertainty and the growing number of devs MIA, you are a fool for leaving coins unattended at any of these exchanges.
3027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -- Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) -- on: October 24, 2013, 02:00:41 PM
Why are you ignoring me Vlad ?

I am tired of holding onto your 1B COL and do not expect the client to be fixed anytime soon.

Plz PM me your email so I can send you the entire wallet.

I'm not ignoring you man, I haven't seen you around and I haven't gotten any PM's either.

I can't download the client until it's fixed so I'm not sure what to do.  I can probably give you the COL wallet from bctltc and you can send my COL there.

I've given up trying to get the client to sync. Email is the best and safest option atm.

Lapped PII 960T + lapped Zalman 12x

Why 100W processor such monstro-cooler?

Its unlocked AND overclocked 27%, the TDP will be much higher than 100 watts.

Someday I'll get a multi meter and know for sure. Smiley

Not heard of 'lapping' before :S is this basically polishing up the joints between the CPU and heatsink? (do you use HSP between them as well?)

Yup. The main goal here is to make the contact areas as flat as possible.

http://youtu.be/GpD4wmB79hs

What is HSP ?

@Jay_Pal Tyvm Grin

Not bad at all considering I went straight to the 2000 grit after I ran out of the 600s. lol

Not bad at all.
Although you'd achieve an even smoother surface using at least 800 and 1200 before the 2000 and polishing with a soft cloth + water after that.
We used also a paste I can't remember the name and an reactor and sealant (not necessary here, I guess) afterwards.

I avoided that potential problem by letting the fine dust, created by the 600 grit, do it for me. eg. I used little/no downward pressure after the nickel plating was completely gone.

Why 100W processor such monstro-cooler?

It was nerd luv at first sight after I saw the review and it just happened to be on sale for only $35 (after MIR). Grin

Think thats overkill ? The 9900nt is cooling a 65w PII x3 720e. Tongue

3031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How HARD is it to trace someone on bitcointalk? on: October 24, 2013, 12:21:50 AM
Being able to trace someone would also benefit those of us who would like to know who is behind, what seems to be, an epidemic of sock puppet accounts. Wink
3032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How HARD is it to trace someone on bitcointalk? on: October 23, 2013, 09:19:51 PM
There is a scam accusation thread for that.  Like someone else said you'd be surprised how much info this community can help you find on a person. And once they are identified you be suprised how quickly some of them want to pay back.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260073.msg2774678#msg2774678

who scammed you and how much did they get.

No one! ~ just asking ~Im in a GB and would like some info on scammers Smiley just in-case the Guy wants to run and take our BTCBTCBTC

Thanks Grin

GB??

anyway...

don't even think about scamming.  You'll eventually get caught.....

GB means "group buy" ~ im in a group buy ~ i am NOT that kind of person bro! but thank you for your help!

And God spoke all these words, saying:
2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 “You shall have no other gods before Me.
4 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; 5 you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, 6 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
7 “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. 11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.
12 “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
13 “You shall not murder.
14 “You shall not commit adultery.
15 “You shall not steal.
16 “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
17 “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”

That is strange.  It doesn't say "You shall not own slaves."

Thats because this is the angry "lets enslave, terrorize and bomb the third world", god(s).

The peaceful loving god(s) has been MIA for over 2000 years. Wink

Did someone say HEATSINKS !? Grin
Lapped PII 960T + lapped Zalman 12x

How much did the temperature decrease after lapping the heatsink?

Counting the cpu's improvements, I'm guessing 5-8C thanks in large part to the very uneven nickel plated finish I was dealing with. Smiley

Here it is after a few quick 600 grit sessions.

Then a few more...

x6 4.3 ghz Wprime, 43C

If I showed you the quad core temps, you wouldn't believe me. Cheesy

3035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are mining pools bad for Bitcoin? on: October 23, 2013, 05:59:45 AM
It's not healthy for the ecosystem to have a few huge pools. However, a system such as Multi-PPS may make huge pools unneeded.
Due to increasing difficulty, it is possible for a fixed hashrate miner to never ever find a block.
This is correct. I said that huge pools will be unneeded, not that pools will be unneeded.

Could the risks involved with pooled mining be minimized/ eliminated if the blockchain/coin itself was the pool and if each share was paid proportionally during the coin's entire lifespan ?

3036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IFC THE CRYPTO US DOLLAR! Support IFC! on: October 22, 2013, 03:01:23 PM
IFC is like any other cryptocurrency.  Minor tweaks / improvements over the others.  But it relies on the same fundamental concepts as all the others.

It is about use and perceived value.

I understand the haters.  Hate IFC, the price gets driven down, others go up or you buy in.

I think it has real promise.

Plz don't mistake our realism for hate. Wink

Btw, how did you manage to pool hop us so efficiently ?

Which multipool were you running to as IFC's diff was about to drop ?
3037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Infinitecoin - IFC | V1.8 Released! *Mandatory Upgrade, upgrade ASAP* on: October 22, 2013, 02:02:20 PM
Oh Ye of little Faith. IFC is the Crytpo dollar. Bitcoin was an instamine coin. Now its a corporate entity all of its own. It seems Bitcoin has lost its vision of decentralized currency. Something IFC has not.
BTC

How does this IFC council and it's gatekeeper make this coin any different ?

Did you forget how easily fisheater was willing to hand this over to that project infintite scam ?

Faith is for centralized authority luvin noobs. Lets give experience and common sense a go for a change. Wink

3038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Infinitecoin - IFC | V1.8 Released! *Mandatory Upgrade, upgrade ASAP* on: October 22, 2013, 04:10:39 AM
IFC is the CryptoDollar. It is as strong as the USD dollar. It could easily become the simple way of monitizing a purchase. A coin for daily use while Bicoin would be more of an investment type currency. Bitcoin is more of a way to secure longterm wealth. Kind of like how people invest in gold for a long term return.

BTC

lol, though I'd say this is a strong statement, I like IFC. At least I think it is similar to Ripple (9 billion coins vs 10 billions) but distributed in a lot fair way.

I'd say both your statements are far fetched.

IFC was instamined to such an extent that it should be considered a premined coin.

The IFC = Cryptodollar is just pure LOLz ! Grin

1 - Deposit BTC.

2 - Don't expect to ever see it again.

I can't believe people are still falling for this.
