3021  Other / Meta / Re: Mike Hearn talking about theymos and BitcoinTalk forum policy on: August 13, 2015, 01:06:30 AM
I don't care about technicalities behind bitcoin XT and its being an alt coin. I care about censorship and deleting posts.
I feel if theymos or anyone from mod division think XT is not valid bitcoin fork anymore then ok I respect their opinion, it may be true.
Just move the XT discussion topics to altcoin section instead of deleting it. Or maybe create new forum section for these kind of threads.
3022  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-08-12] Visa Exploring Bitcoin and Blockchain Technology on: August 12, 2015, 06:26:58 PM
No surprise there. Blockchain technology is the future of financial institutions, everyone is already working on cracking blockchain (IBM with cooperation with Financial Reserve System).
Create their own coin (like CitiBank Coin) or integrate already existing features of their system into blockchain. Meanwhile bitcoin is still evil.
3023  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [8/12/2015] Localbitcoins abandons New Yorkers As Bitlicense Comes into Full For on: August 12, 2015, 06:22:23 PM
Lawmakers of New York City are among the biggest idiots in the USA. What will take for them to realize that they are cutting their own wings off?
It will take every bitcoin startup and company to leave NYC before they realize how big is the amount of money they lost because of that ridiculous Bitlicense?
Democratic states are being more and more idiots  friendly it will bite them in the ass in the end.
3024  Economy / Economics / Re: This is how 0.037 Bitcoins looks like in Venezuela on: August 12, 2015, 06:03:32 PM
Hoe much costs a house in venezuela? How much dollat will a hooker cost? Lol, i am curious about that, t
That people are so cheap in such countries Smiley
People are cheap because life is hard. They have no choice if they want to live. You can see that in this world there much more poor than rich people.
Majority of people on Earth are living for less than $2 per day. Governments of some countries are corrupted and don't care about people.
That is the only reason I can thigh of why they are banning bitcoin - something that can actually help people...

3027  Economy / Economics / Re: bitfinex lending on: August 10, 2015, 03:02:33 PM
Im still yet to see a viable lending business. It seems everything is either a scam or has pathetic return rates that make the risk not worth it.
How scam lending sites or services works? I thought - they have to lend YOU money. If this first step is already scam, how exactly they want to fool people into believing they are legit?
3028  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Bitcoin need a new theory of money? on: August 05, 2015, 02:13:18 PM
Bitcoin does not need new theory of money. We already have enough of theorycrafting about it we know it all. What needs to change is people's perception about bitcoin.
Bitcoin is viewed by people in the different light now: some treat it as commodity, some like asset, speculation tool and others as currency.
3029  Economy / Gambling / Re: DirectBet – LIVE Sportsbook & Racebook. Rated # 1 by Bitcointalk Members ! on: August 05, 2015, 01:59:59 PM
Dear Directbet staff,
I make a toto bet, the event is settled from an hour and more, why is not update in the site? And consequently not payed?
Thank you for your reply

so when you will add more alt coin to the site ?
i'm so excited to place bet using my NXT and monero.
whether unfinished voting? i think NXT and monero deserve.

Yes I am also waiting other coins, I have voted for Vericoin!
I don't understand hype about altcoin, isn't is like marginal market for gambling sites? After all, every crypto user must own bitcoin, it is obligatory.
But on the other hand not every bitcoin user are altcoin user. I feel like by introducing support of altcoins we potentially limit bitcoin potential.
3030  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UK banks' innovation render bitcoin pointless (?) on: August 04, 2015, 12:38:39 PM
Here we go again. I should start hunting people and stapling this to their face.
One of the fundamental ideas of Bitcoin is the separation of state and money; i.e. this means that if you want to get out of the current corrupted financial system, then Bitcoin is your way out.

Don't worry: when finally the fiat currency bubble will explode, they will learn  Cheesy
They? Or everyone else. Because financial elites never learns. It is us - real people - who suffers the most from crisis usually.
I understand that this new feature of UK banks are honey for normal people who don't know what bitcoin is and how it can change the world.
I find it quite dangerous for bitcoin popularity as people like op have little idea about economic state of our world.
3031  Economy / Gambling / Re: How could you find Investors/Funders for gambling website? on: August 04, 2015, 12:32:28 PM
Op you don't necessarily need to be old and respected member of the community. Everyone started somewhere at one point.
I guess your best bet will be introduce yourself, your business ideas and details of your project - you need to do this really well.
If people find this interesting and your idea will be good someone will help you finance your project.
3032  Economy / Gambling / Re: Kingofbitcoin SOCCER TIPS (ALL FREE) TIP OF TODAY 26.07.2015 WON TODAY on: August 04, 2015, 12:08:23 PM
what's your considerations for the Machester United vs Totenham game?

please give advise for some more games!

I think Manchester United can easily win Smiley
Manchester is not the great team it used to be its glory fades. And Tottenham is motivated team.
I don't think this income of this match is that obvious. I Would rather bet: Manchester United 1-1 Tottenham.
3033  Economy / Gambling / Re: Flappybit (Remake of luckybit) Announcement on: August 04, 2015, 11:48:22 AM
I logged in on your site and I want to ask is there a way I can play without depositing anything in a test mode?
1 Transaction = 1 Bet is really tedious and tiring. I don't know this type of game and I would like to test the water first...
3034  Economy / Services / Re: Will rent out my sig space. on: August 03, 2015, 09:15:43 AM
I've participated in signature campaigns before but quit when the people running them started requiring that I sign up for their websites to claim the Bitcoin. I'd rather make this as straightforward as possible -- I rent out my sig space and you send Bitcoin to an address I specify. Any takers?
Your opinion is biased because there are many campaign without this requirement. I don't know how many campaign did you checked.
In fact from my what I can see more like 80% or campaigns have straightforward payment directly to your bitcoin wallet.
I see some post like yours from time to time but I never sew anyone picked up for signature campaign after this kind of advertising.

Thanks for all the help I received Grin
Care to elaborate what was wrong in the end? And it was someone from our forum that helped you out with this problem?
3036  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best dice site(a game) on: August 01, 2015, 02:53:00 PM
For me bets speed is not the most crucial factor of the Dice, I would rather play on PrimeDice (they are long lasting business with low probability of scamming people)
than on some new site where I can even check if bets are probably fair. So my vote goes for PrimeDice +1 and I leave negative vote blank.

But its the factor to be voted on in this round. So your vote for speed and speed only goes still to PrimeDice?
While I still think PrimeDice speed is fine on minimal bets and extra fast on high rolls. But if I have to pick Dice site by speed alone I would rather pick Rollin.io.
3037  Economy / Gambling / Re: COINROYALE.COM 2.0 • New Design • Provably Fair • 1 BTC Bonus • Max Bet Doubled! on: August 01, 2015, 01:59:13 PM
I've never won anything from bitcoin gambling, no matter the site or the amount. Skill games or luck games. Gambling = lose all your $ imo

All gambling site is need of some luck, amount is only thing you need to boost your luck here, with a great amount you may win some cash but remember of greediness that will lead you to end of your cash. So it doesnt matter when you lose or win if you enjoy the game it will be fun though  Grin
It is actually important that people don’t think that they can win, because you can't win in gambling! You can win for a little while but you can't win in the long run.
House always win, that is the truth of gambling. You won't be able to earn money, you can have lucky game or two, but not 100 in a row.
3038  Economy / Gambling / Re: BidyBit - One cent bitcoin bidding game!.com on: August 01, 2015, 01:43:00 PM
We take 10% withdrawal fee as it said on the website and that is the only fee we take.
So you are taking 10% of everything customer won? I feel that is little too much in the long run. I mean House Edge on most casino games is lower than that, and they don't take additional withdrawal fees.
What is your game advantage over standard Dice casinos?

I need to enter my email address to be able to play? There is no possibility of playing just with bitcoin address?
So far top jackpot winners list looks... poor? The best win is $2.43... So how come total wins listed on your site is $880?
