Hi all, It looks like we have enough people for an auction! Yay. I would like to start the auction in a separate thread. I believe that would be the right practice, correct? I'm still a relative newbie on this site, so your comments/suggestions would be appreciated. Some more questions to see all of your input: - What auction terms should we set? - I've already said that this would be a NO RESERVE auction, with initial bid at 1 BTC. - Again, the bidding price would be for the whole block. So we are bidding on the whole block, and NOT on the "premium" portion. - How long should we set the auction to run for? 24 hours? 3 days? 7 days? - What's the minimum bid increase amount? I actually want to participate in it but am little confused over why would you charge 0.015 per ticket which comes at 16 x 0.015 = 0.2 BTC = $165
When one can easily buy it for 65$ and then get it grade and pay around 105$ for it overall and it's only MS66 too
Would you want to decrease/lower you ticket prize?
The way I figured it was the total would be 0.24 BTC after everyone enters but 0.05 BTC will be paid back to the second and third place winners. That leaves 0.19 BTC and I think I paid 0.12 BTC for the coin so that leaves 0.07 BTC but shipping needs to come out of that so that could range from 0.005 BTC to 0.02 BTC depending on where the winner lives and then the rest would be for me. Hope that helps explain how I came up with the price to enter.
