2020 - 2021 expect $800000+ BTC

What u gonna do if it does not happen?  What you gonna do?  huh, huh, huh?

Eat something?

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

If it doesn't reach $100,000.00 by Dec 2020 I would be prepared to eat a hotdog on the same day McAfee eats his dick.

If it does reach $100.000,00 I'll eat two.

Hey... unless you are a vegan, you are not really gambling anything by eating a hot dog...

And, look your numbers don't even line up....

McAfee seems to be an attention whore.. because he started out with a prediction of $500k and then he moved to a prediction of $1million.

That is just outrageous to expect either of those numbers.. and seems like less than a 5% chance that we would reach $500k by 2020 ...and probably less than a 2% chance to reach $1million by then.  Am I bonkers, or is Ms. McFee bonkers?  (btw.. don't answer that last question it is just rhetorical)
You're bonkers. I can see how Bitcoin could reach $500k to $1000k by 2020 quite easily. But I wouldn't plan my life around those numbers.
3022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: December 07, 2017, 11:29:29 AM
Now I have to write something. if sonm announces something, it also comes. A new exchange is very good for the trading volume. the more volume the more people will know sonm.
sonm has once again kept the promise. that's great. I'm looking forward to more good news.
the course will know one thing the next month! up

Last chance to buy coins at this insultingly low price tbh. I've got some money in stratis, when it reaches 10$/coin next week I'm cashing out and investing it in sonm, hopefully prices will still be below 0.2$, next year at this time we'll be wondering whether or not to buy sonm at 1.5$, the year after we're asking ourselves if 5$ a coin is still a good investment
If SONM reaches $5 it'll be guaranteed to be a good investment. At least if that's a sustained sideways moving $5 and not a pump and dump. That would mean that SONM has established itself and is on the way to becoming a major tech company, which would imply a market cap in the tens if not hundreds of billions and token prices of several hundreds USD or even above $1000.

In earlier days that would be true, yes, but the blockchain was created to provide a cheaper, safer and more transparant platform to do business and transactions on. I doubt the cost of running the sonm network would be so high that the tokens would go beyond 10$. Also, using a supercomputer as a network provider would be massive overkill for a lot of companies that simply don't need that kind of power. Either way I have very high hopes for this project, 10$ a coin would still only be 4.4 billion in total cap, which is pathetic compared to other IT businesses
The cost is irrelevant due to the divisibility. If the market capitalization goes up the price of mining as measured in SONM tokens will simply go down. And the market cap will go up with an increase in adoption.

Furthermore, there's the utility aspect of the SONM token. Since token holders will actually get paid a share of the revenue of the platform, the value of the token will go up to whatever the company is currently worth. And if SONM becomes a major tech player it will be worth tens to hundreds of billions of USD, which will result in the aforementioned $100 to $1800 USD token price.

Granted that's a ten-year long journey, but it's bound to happen if SONM establishes its full vision.

You're mistaking tokens for shares, but in essence you're right. If more companies are buying the tokens to use the network, the price per token will need to go up drastically since they can't create new tokens. The ultimate value estimate can be made as soon as the first company joins the network. If they need to pay a lot to maintain part of the network, the tokens will automatically get pumped into the high tens quickly. I''m definitely willing to keep a decent amount of my bag if prices will reach 100$ in 10 years
No I'm not. SONM was originally a utility token that was going to pay dividends (on top of being used to fuel the platform's ecosystem). I don't know if this has changed due to SEC bullshit though.

I think the lead Dev clarified in a video not long ago that they are not technically dividends and that he had a way to prove that to Bittrex to be able to get listed there and on other US based exchanges.
Was that way not "a share of the network usage fees" rather than "revenue sharing in the form of dividends"?

I'd prefer just not listing on Bittrex though. Can't withdraw any reasonable amount of money without KYC on there anyways. In a few years exchanges like that will lose volume and perhaps even die.
3023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING DeepOnion is a SCAM, proof inside! on: December 07, 2017, 11:27:32 AM
I REALLY HATE THIS OP!!! I HAVE LISTENED AND DIDNT INVESTED AND DIDNT JOINED AIRDROP BECAUSE OF YOU. TODAY I MADE TROUGH RESEARCH AND I CAN SAY THAT THIS IS MORE THAN LEGIT. FROM THE PROJECT, TEAM, COMMUNITY I AM FKING IMPRESSED. AND THIS SHITHEAD IS CALLING A SCAM???!@???@??@? FURIOS

AND BITCOIN CASH IS A SCAM? EOS IS A SCAM? BITCOIN IS A SCAM? DASH IS A SCAM?Huh THERE WERE ALSO SHITHEADS FOR THIS PROJECT CALLING THEM A SCAM ...

BECAUSE OF SHITHEADS LIKE YOU THIS FORUM IS GETTING BAD PLACE.
BCash is a manipulative shitcoin and DO is very shady as well. BitConnect is a ponzi too and it's still making people money... until they exit and everyone gets burnt.

tl;dr you don't know what thorough research means

P.S. There's more to life than making profit off of scams and ponzi schemes.
Totally get your point and I really appreciate your neutral critisism on this project. But I would like to point out that there was a massive problem of people using multiple accounts to abuse the airdrop in the early stage of the project. There was no other way then changing the rules to avoid this I guess.
Weren't people complaining that it's too hard to get into the signature campaign? Then how could it multi accounts be such a problem?

Nah, it was very easy to get in in the early rounds, that's also the reason why cheating was so easy that days. I think you have a lack of information about Deep Onion project, at least about the beginning. This is for sure. Maybe you should read it up first before you spread lies here.
That was a rhetorical question.

I know for fact that people were complaining and that there was a blacklist that was twice the size of the actual participants. I've been watching this from the start and thining very hard about whether or not I should join.

Was going to join when they introduce DeepSend originally, but the new rules changed everything so I'm staying out entirely because I don't like playing ponzis.

People were complaining after the first few rounds.  Not initially.  Initial acceptance was immediate after you wore the correct signature.  It was literally instant acceptance.

Also Blacklist had nothing to do with rejected applicants.  In fact, the people on the Blacklist were those that dumped their onions which was against the initial rules.  Now with the new rules, there is no blacklist and even those previous dumpers can join again.

If the devs were planning an exit scam, why would they show their face and make hour long videos on youtube?  Don't you think they would want to remain Anon?  I'm not saying it's outside the realm of possibility but that would be a pretty dumb thing to do.

Sure, there was instant acceptance. But people got blacklisted before they could receive their first "airdrop" (signature campaign reward).

And with the new rules it doesn't matter if people get in easier or not, because you have to invest a significant amount of money to make any worthwhile return. All while carrying a tremendous risk.

And the devs haven't shown their face or shared their names.
The guy making the Youtube Q&As is just a random member that joined and ended up in the so called support group. He's not part of the dev team, so using him as a redeeming factor for DO's legitimacy isn't possible no matter how you twist or bend it.

And it's not about an exit scam. They will upkeep appearances of course.
But it's still a ponzi scheme in which they make money out of those who become aware of this "project" too late to know the whole story, as well as those who get fooled into buying Onions for "staking and promoting" (it's not an airdrop and there are no free Onions) by an army of paid shills.
3024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: December 07, 2017, 11:15:14 AM
Did someone get the MCO card correctly? Are they sending to the whole world? Unfortunately non-European cards are being canceled on multiple platforms, if MCO shows a different option from competitors, prices could rise even higher.

Officially , yet to be sent out.
Unsure abt the Beta units though.
Cards will only be offered after the following listings.
Singapore will be the 1st country to receive it

During pre-order for cards they didn't ask which country we are residing in so how will they know where to send out cards?
Wasn't there KYC during the ordering? Or am I mixing cards up?

Yeah no fud or screaming scam like most ppl

Just to bring to ppls attention that
bot Tokugawa (tok) and this coin XUV are registered under the same domain and company. Don't think this is a coincidence

On the left is whois lookup from xuv on the right is whois lookup on TOK ip

Well, indeed this is interesting.  Have the devs responded to this?  It's not exactly wrong to work on two coins simultaneously . . . what is the official response?

I have thought about looking into XUV for short term play, and this may effect my decision.  Thanks.
The dev has responded that XUV is "his friend's". Or in other words, a small ring of scammers running multiple coins. Who knows how many others they have as well.
3026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES | Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform | unofficial supporters topic on: December 07, 2017, 11:11:37 AM
If you are pricing crypto in BTC, well all crypto even waves must be avoiding at all cost.
BTC is skyrocketing and a smart move is to sell crypto and buy BTC as part of the frenzy buying.

Even Waves and his ecosystem, sad to say this as i own a big bunch of waves, can not compete the BTC commodity future frenzy buying.
It is worldwide and attract hundred thousand people daily : you can NOT compete.

Next step is when BTC bubble will burst. Collateral damage will be huge for alt coins and you will get waves and other altcoin for nothing during this alt-mass slauthering.

BTC isn't going to burst for at least another year. A correction, sure. But even after a massive correction we'll still be up ahead several times over the beginning of the year. And that would be one of the worst case scenarios imaginable.

Crypto is literally just getting started now. And money won't be moving into fiat in masses because it's too difficult to do that due to regulations. Hence, at least some altcoins will inevitably rise once Bitcoin calms down or if it starts crashing.

If you look at Waves you can see its price in USD actually rising, that's because people know that it's due for a major pump anytime now.
3027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: █【ANN】【ICO】█【PRE-SALE】 🌟 【SOLD OUT】 ██ 🌟 BLOCKLANCER ██ JOIN GIG ECONOMY BOOM on: December 07, 2017, 11:08:06 AM
How does the Blocklancer bounty portal work? I connected my facebook, inserted the link to my profile as well, liked the page and a bunch of posts, 24 hours passed but I still have 0 (zero) stakes. Is it automatic and how much time is needed for the stakes to appear?

That's your product guys. It should be flawless, instead of having to come here and ask questions.
The bounty portal of Signals ICO is perfect. You like in facebook, you hit claim button and after 10 seconds stakes are assigned. You can check it out.
First you get verified manually. Then the stakes will update about once per week. This question has been answered numerous times already in the past by the way.

It's very easy to create an automatic portal, but it's difficult to automatically filter out worthless spam that doesn't benefit the project. So you should be grateful that they actually take the time to manually verify contributions instead of allowing bots to take the entire bounty.

So I see people worried for McAfee's dick, and that $400k will fall short, but if I know this guy I'm thinking he wants to eat his dick --especially on TV.
As we close in on $13k, think about that moment the market crashes at $499k and McAfee fires up the grill with a smile.

I sometimes wonder if he has 2 dicks and he just wants to get rid of one of them. Smiley
He adjusted his bet to $1million per BTC.

What if he doesn't have a dick and winning the bet would grow him one by uneating it?
3029  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 06, 2017, 10:57:40 PM
Probably will see a $500 dip soon
God forbid, doesn't anybody think of the children? :O

Before or after $18k?

So today I got a call from someone who wanted to buy bitcoin from me. Bad but understandable english, sounded like a person of some kind of color, and he wanted to trade 30-50 coins.

He sounded exactly like a disney villain. Like Jafar levels of evil. Told him that no sir I can't handle that many, in fact can only handle one at a time. Sadly that was not enough for this distinguished gentleman, so he went off to find someone else to deal with.

I almost don't feel like doing in-person trades anymore. I mean it's almost job-level income but sooner or later something is going to go sideways and I don't need it the way things are going, and I can always go back to it if I ever have to.

Also got a deal tomorrow where I'm making almost a grand, and I barely feel like spending the 10 minutes to do the exchange. Not sure this kind of fast wealth is healthy for me.
Why not? Just means you're getting to a point where you'll have whatever time you need to to whatever the hell you want. Sounds pretty good to me, considering how much the world offers to explore and learn.

IOTA quick money is bound to end very soon. A correction is pretty much imminent.
3034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: December 06, 2017, 10:22:30 PM
Someone can tell me if the coins were already distributed, since I could never claim mine, and I sent emails to the snom team and I never received an answer. Huh

first of all, Thanks
The coins have been distributed long ago. You should try contacting them again, perhaps on Telegram if you really haven't received yours and can prove it.

BTC is no longer accepted on Steam 'cause of high-fees and unstable price
They don't know how to use BTC, that's the actual problem. Now they act like they became smarter, whilst Lightning Integration Tests were all passed and RC candidate is almost ready. Cheesy

My body is ready.
Fake news. BTC is $16,410 now.

This was also my last response on this thread, it's just too frustrating to clarify the whole disinformation which is spread in here.
I'm sure it's frustrating to deal with facts when they don't align with your bullshit. Anyway, good luck with sucking Satan's dick for some pocket money.

Easy. Drink more and bet another $6k to cover your losses.

Or just stop both. You don't seem to be able to handle either.
3038  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: December 06, 2017, 09:51:23 PM
I think that by the end of next year bitcoin will be worth$ 20 000 and more.

yeah, I also think like that, Bitcoin will touch $ 20 000 in the coming year and maybe its value will be even higher. for now many countries are receiving Bitcoin then of course  Bitcoin will skyrocket rapidly.
Pretty sure Bitcoin will take a massive dump on $20,000 next year. It's already around $16,000 in Korea right now.

[

Mobile phones, microwaves, color tvs, radios, cars, computers, any revolution really
I think the best way to compare it is with the total market cap of cryptos, rather than BTC. I would probably consider BTC the Ford of cars during their growth

Not sure these are a good model, because all these goods, when successful, have been produced in quantities to lower their price, plus they got competition. Bitcoin cannot have mass production or fake ones.

I don't think there is something quite like bitcoin... Maybe gold, but doubt there is a chart showing gold since 700B.C. Sad
Don't think there's any currency that has existed since 700 B.C. either to even create a chart.
3040  Economy / Economics / Re: Why economists say Bitcoin a bubble on: December 06, 2017, 09:46:16 PM
The price of Bitcoin is driven by speculators, not by underlying value. This does not necessarily mean that it is in a bubble state, as there are many other assets that also have their priced derived from trading. Economists have models for defining bubbles, but they can be either too general or obsolete. If a model is used incorrectly it will not give any valid answers, and I think that is the case here. Bitcoin might or might not be in a bubble state, but I do think we will see the whole crypto market grow into a bubble. When the bubble bursts the best blockchains/coins will survive, and the rest will perish.
You either don't know what you are talking about or you're conflating too many thoughts at once creating an incoherent mess.

Bitcoin has underlying value, much more than fiat currency (which has no intrinsic value whatsoever). And an asset that rises despite having no value would necessarily be a bubble, Bitcoin is not one of those though.
