3021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can u lose with gambling? on: July 24, 2016, 07:03:23 AM
You can lose all of your money in gambling.
But when you start addict with it, you almost does not care about how money you lose, you just carry about how money you get.
Addict person can lose everything and the sad truth is he would not notice it as he let himself to be enslave by gambling. As a gambler we are just playing for fun at first and only when we get addicted where we lose so much money so we should not let that happen.
For sure that is why we should make all the possible ways not to be addicted to gambling, gambling is fun if you are not losing a huge amount of money. Addiction will only happen when you are not contented of the happiness you felt in gambling and you are looking for a big wins.
3022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: July 24, 2016, 06:59:58 AM
Gambling is risky game of money from which most people lose and just a few wins. Gambling too is addictive and fun especially when you're winning and that's why most people can't get away from gambling once they get in it.
In gambling you only win from the start then you lose whenever you win a certain amount.
I disagree it is not a sickness it is just someone being a risk taker with the believe that the higher the higher the returns. They also believe in chance that its the sole determinant of whether they will lose or win as this cannot be said of sickness. So its not sickness rather its a daring... My 2cents...

It is obviously not a sickness as it is a source of fun for most of the people but it makes those people sick for sure who tries to multiply their investments in it and gets greedy when they win a little and then lose everything in matter of seconds.

well, mostly people don't play gambling just for fun reason. every single person play gambling for getting some profit and getting some extra money. the web is full of thousands of source of entertainments and fun. if someone need to be entertained then he don't need to waste his money in gambling. he can play all these games, like poker, cards, jack games for free.

but if someone play these games for money and with money then they become gambling. and this is really sickness.
We are not thinking actually that we are wasting our money when we try to gamble, we always think that we can win enough money to make us happy at a certain day but it is just that we realize after a big lose that we are just wasting our money then.

How to earn money with bitcoin ?
You can invest in gambling site or buy new alt coin which has bright future.you can also create faucet and earn through advertising. ppl usually do this as there is great newbie traffic to it.
invest in gambling sites can be profitable depending on the house. if you get a win and a big advantage. surely you too will benefit. different when players win was possible. because there are many players who have more luck. but more probably house will win

That is for sure. The house always win. I do gambling most of the time and thank God I stopped my addiction. I always lose, though I win from the start then at the end it becomes a losing streak.
Of course the house always wins if you are betting on a gambling type that has house advantage, you should just focus more on a skilled base games and your chances against your opponent is just equal. I would never ever gamble for money in dice but I love to invest on them.
3024  Economy / Economics / Re: The Halving - Good or Bad for Bitcoin? on: July 23, 2016, 10:05:41 AM
Probably halving  has a good impact to bitcoin. This is the time wrere bitcoin price increases,
And some of the users are waiting for it to have make some profit.
We all know that it will have a good impact but the question would be when will be the impact be experience. I know many have invested when the price was good enough before the halving and they are waiting for the price increase which has not happen yet. Maybe those people who can wait will just make money.
3025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: July 23, 2016, 10:01:32 AM
Only way to advance in gambling is to always bank your profits and start over new every day without trying to roll over the profits and putting them at risk.   I heard an interview with David Choe which sounded like that, discipline not just hoping to have continued luck
That is a good idea but you need to have a decent amount of capital to make a decent income on a daily basis. I know what you mean and some people are desperate enough to win in gambling even if they don't have a decent bankroll. Who would succeed if you have $100 dollars and you want to increase that amount to $10,000?
3026  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: July 23, 2016, 09:45:13 AM
Well, you can start by stopping spending your money on things you can't actually afford. Let's face it, we're being controlled by the media. Our journey towards becoming rich is prolonged day by day because of all these pressure that we should buy the latest gadgets, that we should go get coffee in Starbucks every single morning. If you look at it, those products are all just overpriced stuffs and the cheap ones are just as good (sometimes even better).

Remember, rich people don't spend their money on things like this. They don't buy iPhone 6s+ just to show off people. They don't do shopping just because of their social circle, and that's how they've become rich. They spend their money wisely.

Rich people don't buy gadgets. They make them.
Good examples are Mark Zuckerberg and Steve Jobs.
They wear the same kind of clothes everyday to save up money and because they don't have time to think for "trivial" things like that.
Rich think outside of the box that is why they are more successful, they prioritize their needs instead of their wants and they utilize their passion in making their own business that would give them the benefits with their success.

That just goes to show that one cannot be rich by just sitting idly in front of the computer or TV.
They faced a lot of struggles and risk their all to achieve their dreams.
You can be rich of course, what if you have an online job so you will be earning money doing some online task, if you know how to maximize your profit you will invest in stocks or bitcoin itself, even doing trading, that job was done by sitting in front of your computer.

Just work hard and you are going to be rich with it. And the comment above is a good strategy if you are going to do it. Being a regular worker it is not really going to make you rich if you are always depending on your job. It is better if you are going to add some sources of your income so that you are going to be  rich.
You have your job and you work for a company because you want to have a stable income that would be use to provide your family with their daily needs, however if you are just doing the same think until the rest of your life, you will not be rich at all. Taking the risk like investing will give you a chance.
3027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your biggest loss gambling? on: July 23, 2016, 09:05:16 AM
My biggest loss and my negative profit so far is I think -0.27 BTC. For me this is too much, because I'm still a newbie in earning bitcoin so it's hard to earn this hard-earned bitcoin again.

Yep. I think this is the highest I went as well. 1 BTC from where I am here now really means a lot. It's not a joke trying to lose that amount here.
Always regrets comes after a certain actions. We could have prevented that loses if we are strong enough to manage our bankroll and control our self to put some limit in our gambling. Gambling is actually fun but when you lose that amount you cannot appreciate gambling anymore.
3028  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: July 23, 2016, 09:03:00 AM
I know that people give out loans but what's up with people no returning what they borrowed?? I want to know this because I might give out loans myself and I want to know what to watch out for... I have ~800 BTC at the moment and would it be a bad idea to start loaning? I bought my BTC back in 2010 mid August January(when it was about $0.07 per BTC) and I noticed the price went up a ton! Also what would be some other way to grow my BTC? Any ideas on what I should do?

Something I should have added my friend was doing something you guys call "mining" I am very knew to the bitcoin world even though I have had them for a long time. I bought these bitcoin from him because he needed to sell them, my financial advisor has told me that the longer I wait the more return I would get so I told him hold the account for 5 years and ill see where I am... So last July I had gotten my account back, did a bunch of research then found you guys. So I came here to post a few posts and for everyone skeptical this is the proof https://gyazo.com/ee99cef712e9b72f03a3e8e870c33624

Giving Loan is really risky.  Riskier than gambling Cheesy  At least in gambling if you win you'll know you'll get your money but in giving loans, there is no assurance that they will pay the BTC back to you.  Even if collaterals are there.  There is still no assurance that they will pay their loan to you.  If your motive is to help Donate in charity.  That way you help other people to not commit sin.
Borrowers would choose not to pay you because collateral are not important to them, they borrow money and they can good anytime they want and the lenders will be left wondering what should he do to collect money. Maybe before it is profitable but now that is my opinion.
3029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: July 23, 2016, 08:50:06 AM
Just be careful when investing in gambling website, we don't know if that website will permanently stand, and also gambling websites are anonymous, they won't provide their selves and their faces. There is no forever, LOL.
That is the job of the investor, we should be cautious on the site that we are going to trust our money, overall investing in an online casinos is profitable however we should do our homework or study to ensure our money is in good hands and not in the hands of the scammer.
You are absolutely right, study or research the site or type of investment that we are going to enter, this is to ensure that we are investing in in legitimate site that has a good trust rating in the community, in that way we will feel comfortable with our investment.
3030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: July 23, 2016, 08:45:05 AM
I never saw any person in my circle making/fixing his life through gambling. I have seen more unfortunate events of breaking families just because men were addicted to gambling. I am playing limited and not getting gambling as source of making my life. This has absolute zero impact on my life at least.
That is true because even if you are winning in gambling it does not fix your life, we just play in gambling because we want to have fun and make money at the same time but would never fixed our life, those who enter in gambling which are already wreck their life is more prone to wrecking more their life.
3031  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make money on bitcointalk? on: July 23, 2016, 08:23:56 AM
Mine altcoins that you see here rolling up everyday, as they might undertake a good value in future which may make you great value of coins in no time.

Its far more better to trade them than wasting a lot of time and electricity in mining them because in trading you dont need to wait a lot for getting the profit if the coin you are trading has the potential to grow, and if it is a shit coin than you have just wasted your money investing in it.

about mining alt coins, the risk of bothj mining and trading is the same i think, if one do mine alt coins that have good potential to have high price then its not a waste of time for the miner, same applies to trading alt coin Smiley
However it is better to mine because you don't need to invest big money for mining and you are guaranteed that you can collect altcoins and you could keep that for the future and who knows just like what happen to ethereum would happen to the coins you mined.
3032  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: July 23, 2016, 08:19:31 AM
better to invest in bitcoin, gold maybe more secure, but bitcoin has more potential to grow

saving money in the bank, will only mean losing them in the long-term with the current high inflation

I would think bitcoin operates under the same guise, if you look recently into bitcoin it gained fame becausse of how expensive it was (Like over 1000$) but now it has tanked way below that, because of the overabundance, and therefore a type of inflation.  I would think investing in something more physical would be worthwhile, instead of money type things.  Like a house, it may dip a lot but it will always come back up, you just have to be patient.
Well, that is your decision and anyway we are taking the risk, I believe that any investment after any crisis are more stronger, just like what happen to bitcoin , we fall when the price reach $1,000 but now we are slowly going back the previously peak amount and fall back will not happen anymore.
3033  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: July 23, 2016, 08:15:40 AM
Are you inspired by those bitcoin millionaires? Are you thinking of filing a resignation letter on your day job (if you have any) and focus on bitcoin instead?

Me? I do have a day job and I consider bitcoin as my side job. I don't want to lose that another source of income just because bitcoin is awesome.

I earned this month 50$ with Bitcoins so no chance to quit my day job any time soon =/

For me Bitcoins is kind of hobby I am doing in my spare time. I guess you need to get into mining to actually live from it.

It is a good amount if you are earning $50 / month. But for me mining is really going to be hard at all if you are going to rely on it. Because the mining difficulty now has become more higher and more difficult to mine. Not only that, but you need also to buy hardware mining rig and need to invest.
So, work for bitcoin and also your full time.
If you are just a small time miner don't bother because such operation is not profitable. You just invest in mining sites and that is effortless for you. Also, there are a lot of jobs online so we should take the opportunity to do it to add up your income.
3034  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin worth to you or not... on: July 23, 2016, 08:09:14 AM
We all have some amount of bitcoins in our wallets..
Do you really think bitcoin is a currency Worthing you more than a real currency...
I do because real currency price won't grow up or down as bitcoin...
So do you or not ??
And also have a discussion about its prices in future..!!
Yeah Bitcoin is worth it because it let me make some money so I am grateful about that, as long as I can keep doing it I will be staying.
I do not have any intention yet of leaving but you do not know what is going to happen in the future.

Its better to keep on playing with it short term instead of thinking of too long, keep on making profits regularly from it till it is alive.
I believe bitcoin will live for long decades. From the evolution of bitcoin till 9 years bitcoin is the largest of its kind in terms of total market value. So it's value increases even more in future.
This will be the new generation of money and this should be the future of money. We are investing right now and we have to wait for the future as we are getting a good volume now in terms of amount invested and users of such investments.

I believe it too that bitcoin is the new generation of money. And it is really worth it for all of us. But I hope by that time that bitcoin is going to have a stable price at all or if not there is going to be a certain range of price in the future.
The price is stable already but we don't hope that this price will remain to be the same forever, we all want to see a price increase so that we can earn from our investment. We should always think of the future and bitcoin is worth to us at any sense.
3035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can u lose with gambling? on: July 23, 2016, 08:02:29 AM
I don't think anyone wanna lose by gambling. but it's nature that somebody will lose for sure.I lose over 2milion satoshi by gambling then I stopped gambling. now I don't gamble for big amount. I always gamble carefully but it doesn't easy to win rather easy to lose. And,Now I don't wanna lose because I am running with my profit and wanna make more profit.  Grin
Since you are counting you loses in gambling as satoshis, I could say that you are not a gamblers who best big amount. You are just like a small gamblers like any others here and that is great for you as you can minimize your loses and will not affect your life.
3036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: July 23, 2016, 07:59:24 AM
gamble means risk.if your luck is with you,you can do well. but you aren't out of risk.so,you should use small amount that you can afford to lose.but gambling always a risk,so be careful.   Wink
Like how your luck will not favor you all the time, gambling risk is also will let you never make profits.
The luck is very rare thing and the risk is always there against you. So, there are two factors which are always acting against you and still you are looking your safe methods for making the impossible profits from gambling.
Making profit in gambling is not impossible as it has already been proven by some gamblers that they can make money in gambling. Maybe it is just hard but not impossible, the risk is a normal thing and even in real investment the risk is their but if you know how to manage the risk you will have a chance to win.
3037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling loses and wins on: July 23, 2016, 04:16:42 AM
Me too down some 100$ and still in process to earn it back.
Gambling is so risky i think those ppl can lose there money to gambling they are addicted with it. So gambling is not advisable too those who want intant money. If you lose some dont do it again bcoz no body get profit in gambling. 100$ is much enough i suggest that do trading.

Yes gambling really is so risky. Almost the same with investing on HYIPs, but it differs on the time span since you can earn or lose instantly with gambling. In my self preference, I rather choose bet on gambling than on hyips and other ponzis.

HYIP's really are just risks and you can prevent losing if you are a good analyzer. In gambling, you can analyze some games but some luck games are not designed to be analyzed. Because its none sense to gamble if you risked on an unknown kind of deals. Better gamble in sports bet because even if you lose, it is you own fault.
I also recommend to play sports betting for real chance in gambling, dice games are fun but that is only base on our luck and only if we have extreme luck where we will win in the game but it would not guarantee that we can win in the long run.

We know we all gamble because of money and to bag a huge amount of money that we can get in the long run.
3038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can u lose with gambling? on: July 23, 2016, 03:58:38 AM
Depends on how much is present on my account in a single instance. Most of the time, I'm confident on my picks and go ballsy and place a 1 btc bet only to win afterwards. I've lost 0.6 once on MLB betting. It was Rangers vs Yankees. I couldn't care less though, because 0.6 is kind of big, but after a short while I got by with it and accepted it.

Being too confident in gambling costs a lot sometimes, when your confidence snatches all your bitcoins at once then you realize that you were over confidence and that is the reason why you lost everything you had in your account.

However, he gambling with big money. So if he is a good in predicting for sport, he can be winning a lot and 0.6btc is just a small % overall of his bankroll. You can expected someone to win 100% so maybe this is just a case that he has lost and he may have won a lot more from the other bets.
I think even if you're having a defeat that only a few percent of your total bankroll but 0.6 is a huge amount for most people. and I think you can not underestimate it. let alone to Obtain 0.6 BTC is hard for me. I think any amount of Defeat will make-your slightest Become chaotic and disorganized play

For me even, that amount is already huge, I could not gamble that amount for just one time. I would rather use that amount in trading or investing in profitable site. Anyway, that happens already so moving on is very important to have a better plan in gambling the next time around.
3039  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: July 23, 2016, 03:38:47 AM
User adoption is increasing day by day which will contribute to the price of bitcoin in positive way and if it continues then 2017 will be definitely the best year for bitcoin.
yeah every day there may be one or many users will continue to grow. may be slow but at least users will continue increasing and not decreasing. This will certainly increase adopter a positive effect on btcoin prices in the coming year.

Yeah and now we don't have to worry about the price of bitcoin in future, it will definitely move in positive direction so we can expect much higher price in future.
That is all we can do for now, to expect that price will rise in the future, our trust and belief in this coin is huge to help to build one goal. We should continue to support bitcoin to make that happen as we are all benefited when that time comes.
3040  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: July 23, 2016, 03:29:47 AM
i think bitcoin is definitely better than gold has ever been or will be, bitcoin is always the way to go if you want to spend it or if you want to just have a great investment
Bitcoin is always better in compare to gold at a moment when it comes to an investment as price fluctuations in bitcoin allows to make quick profits which is not possible with gold.
yeah for part speed in bitcoin benefit would be faster to give you an advantage because bitcoin is aided by the fluctuations
so that prices will move very quickly up and down so that it will provide benefits in the short term in contrast to gold

This time we should focus more on trading because of the fluctuations and consider also an investment and hold it for a long period of time. Actually bitcoin is a good form of savings and investment as well as you will be assured your money will have a great value in the future.
