3021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN Launch Know Your Developer (KYD) - New days of secure investing are here! on: December 02, 2018, 09:03:46 PM
Lets hope this week is when we get some more news on the coin swap. The team are working hard behind the scenes on the new wallet and chain so hopefully the new wallet will be released sometime this week. I'm confident that once all this complete and trading resumes on CB that KYD will bounce back to where it once was, it just might take some time.

I just read in the KYD discord that the team have finished up testing on the new wallet and blockchain and all went well so hopefully we will see the new wallet released sometime this week and we can start to swap our KYD coins over to the new KYD coin/s. I believe the team want to get this done by the end of the year which is a good thing as then we can start the new year with a fresh start.

2nd Test between Bangla vs WI have started and Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat. AT the end of days play they are in a strong position with 259/5. If they can reach anywhere 375+ will be a good score as they would be able to get WI out within 300 or less runs and will have have some lead in first inning to put pressure back on WI.

Right now they are at 428/8. Remember that Bangladesh had won the first test by 64 runs. This is the second test and as of now it looks like WI may not be able to win it. It may be either a victory for the BAN or a draw. That means that the test series is won by Bangladesh.

They are now at 457/8. Say if Bangladesh make around 500 and if can get WI all out in 300 or so and decide to bat again and make 200 with a lead of 200 which is 400 runs on bard in 4th inning chasing is difficult. So WI will be always under pressure from here it seems considering their only hope is that couple of batsman can make century which will only help them to draw the match.

Bangladesh posted 508 for allout and West Indies are 75/5, actually they were 29/5 but this last pair is going good but even then i think they cannot avoid the follow on and Bangladesh will take full chances to finish the match before 4 days and win it by one innings. West Indies are playing very poor match.

I agree as I can't see the WI making 200+ runs even though Shimron Hetmyer and Shane Dowrich are batting well. Once one of these two is out the rest will crumble as the WI have a very poor lower order batting average. Bangladesh will win this test match and also win the series which they deserve as they have been the better team this series.

3023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PoW/MN] Gentarium (GTM) | Masternode hosting platform | Shared MN service on: December 01, 2018, 09:02:17 PM
Gentarium continues to grow stronger by the week with more masternodes coming online locking away more of the circulating supply which is around 90% locked away now in nodes. The ROI is also coming down slowly which is another good thing as its good for the long term sustainability, currently at 153% I would like to see it around 100%. 2019 is shaping up to be a great year for GTM.
3024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HotShot Coin[HTS] [The Future of CRYPTOCURRENCY] SHA256 on: December 01, 2018, 08:56:10 PM
Its nice to see the latest update on the DEX exchange, it looks very similar to CryptoBridge however the HotShot team can add their touch to it. Hopefully this will launch early 2019 which will be a good way to start the new year and then later in the year we can look forward to the casino.

What is current block reward for POW miners?
In the 1st post of this topic there is information that block reward is 10 for POW.
But in the WhatToMine site POW reward is only 2 coins.
What is correct, 10 or 2 coins?

GTM recently lowered the PoW rewards which is now 2 coins block reward. The dev needs to update the OP to show the new block rewards for miners. The reasoning behind this was that a lot of miners were dumping GTM and bringing the price down so that is why the dev made the decision to lower the block rewards for miners.

This is fine, but clearly they have communicated the changes poorly, and there's no coherent explanation of the current chain parameters easily accessible. I had to go to their Discord to find what the change was about.

Yes I do think more updates need to be posted on this thread and for the OP to be changed when ever there is an important update like the block reward decreasing for miners and that soon masternodes will be dynamic collateral. I guess the main focus for the GTM team is on the discord right now but we also need them on here as well. I try my best to keep everyone updated on here but I don't have access to the OP so I can't change anything.
3026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 29, 2018, 09:30:58 PM
I thought India batted well to score 358 runs as the all got starts but no one went on to make a century which was a surprise for me. The SCG pitch is suited for India and the Adelaide oval is very similar which is where India will play in the 1st test match against Australia. Like I have been saying this is India's biggest chance to win a test series in Australia and starting off on a pitch where they play well on is a huge step for them winning the series as normally the 1st test match in Australia is played at the Gabba where India struggle so its going to be an interesting series as I would say its more in India's favour this time around.

You guys could just hire some devs to do specific tasks for the coin. Try to put some donations together to fund such development.

I agree, but as I have seen around this space, few are the ones who donate for something, furthermore to resurrect a dead project. The idea is good because you won't find any devs to work for free unless they hold some good chunks of the coin supply or they buy it very cheap and develop it to grow their bag value. Core devs are even harder to find.

But don't worry as you may noted there are people willing to help the project in their free time like @prowe, @vella85 (even he is more quiet thank usual in here) maybe others will join this movement and make BOAT project a successful one. Anyone can join and give a hand, even you.

I'm still around my friend, just not as active in here as I am a little down as I couldn't get any dev to help out on Boat. Like I mentioned I did chat with a couple of devs I know but none were interested in helping out as they are busy with their own projects. I'm still here and staking when I can and I'm yet to sell any Boat in the hopes that a dev would come and pick this one up. Time will tell.

I knew you are still around but more silent than usual on this thread.

Well if we take a look at the big BOAT picture, for now all we need is someone as Team Manager to build up a team for the project, starting with a community manager, marketing manager and later you can focus on finding a core dev or more, for future upgrades and feature additions. Why I am saying this? Because, if the wallet is working, the staking is working, the tx are working there is no need to work on the code, unless you need to add some new features or change the existing ones. All that BOAT needs right now is new people in, awareness, and this can be achieved with some little marketing (Twitter, Facebook, Telegram, Reddit, Medium) and maybe some bounty campaigns. Just my 2 cents!

Cheers, G

I totally agree with you my friend, Boat has everything it needs right now except marketing, managers and a core dev team working on developments. When it comes to marketing I can help as I know a lot of people that can also help with this but with the other suggestions like a team manager, I don't know anyone that would be interested. We also have a discord server which has a community but its not active, if we can get the discord active then that can help get people interested in Boat again. I also think that Boat needs some goals like what will Boat have to offer? the only thing going for it right now is the 5% APR which isn't much to offer. Maybe we can all get together on the discord to discuss this further?
3028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥[ANN][MFIT] MFIT COIN: Transforming the Fitness Industry with Blockchain🔥 on: November 29, 2018, 09:15:24 PM
Nice to see the dev team working on the MFIT online store which will be fully launched in 2019. This store is a great way to get the MFIT project out there and also to sponsor fighting tournaments which they have been doing successfully. I'm confident that MFIT will continue to grow into a huge project in 2019 and maybe one day we'll see them as a sponsor at a UFC event.

I'm bringing down the 808 explorer for a random long period of time to thwart the spam attacker. This is to also protect others while we try to figure out how to mitigate the spam attack damage.

There is always someone out there trying to bring down something, I'm not sure why this person is attacking 808 coin with spamming so its a good idea to take down the explorer for now. On some other news, at least we are seeing some nice volume on TradeSatoshi while Topia has the wallet in maintenance once again. Maybe people will start to use TradeSatoshi more as Topia continue to put the wallet in maintenance which in a way can be a good thing in the long term to have two exchanges with similar volume.

Looks like so far I only got 2 people who gave donations plus another one valued at about 5 cents.  I'm working on it a little at a time.  Thinking the release time will be about two months from now, but maybe sooner.  I very much appreciate whoever has been sending the Bottlecaps donations.

Growthcoin has an active dev team now and for about a year nothing was done.  Bottlecaps had a lot of development work but it's quieted down now for a while.   Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I have seen a few tweets about Growth coin on twitter in the last few days so it seems this one is back. Are you suggesting that CAP and Growth coin come together to form a partnership? If it will help CAP then I'm all for it and I can help with promoting on twitter and also on discord. I don't own a large amount of CAP however I have been in CAP for over a year now and would like to see this project succeed in the long term.

Not long now before we hit block 186,000 which then starts the increased masternode rewards by 50%. I really like this project which I have been apart of since the early days of GPU coin. I'm glad I stuck around as things are about to get interesting heading into 2019 which is when we could see NulleX shine.

I read on the discord that the Glacier pre-sale will most likely continue on CryptoBridge which I think is a good idea as it will give more people confidence in the project as CryptoBridge don't list many pre-sales unless they feel that the project is legit and not a scam. Hopefully this will happen very soon and then hopefully more people will look at buying GLPM.
By the way, I would like to ask for the current situation of Crypto Bridge.
It seems that they got troubles recent days with some coins, withdrawals disabled due to the exchange need to add nodes, something like this.
Can you explain about the issue, please, vella85.

Well as you know CryptoBridge has had issues due to the Bitshares chain but it seems that everything is starting to get back on track now and that we should see GLPM on CryptoBridge for the pre-sale soon. Like I said not many projects get accepted as a pre-sale on their exchange unless they feel the project is legit. I can't give a time frame as CB will still need to fix some things but hopefully in the next week or two we'll see GLPM on CB as a pre-sale.

Pakistan are in a strong position to win this test match however we have seen time and time again with Pakistan being in strong positions and then going on to either lose the test match or it comes a draw. I also still wouldn't count out a draw right now as all it takes is for New Zealand to get a strong partnership and bat all day on day 4 and get a lead which could see the match coming a draw. It will be interesting to see how well New Zealand bat and if Pakistan can repeat the same performance as in the 1st innings bowling.

Hmmm... they won the match. Conditions were quite favorable to Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates. However, if they want to win matches abroad, then their players need to work really hard (especially the pacers).

Yasir Shah literally made everything look "so easy" for Pakistan. He made a few bowling records too in this match:

Pakistan vs New Zealand 2nd Test stats: Yasir Shah rewrites records in Pakistan’s innings win

https://indianexpress.com/article/sports/cricket/pakistan-vs-new-zealand-2nd-test-stats-yasir-shah-breaks-records-5467460/

Taking 14 wickets in a single test match is no joke, it's a magic!

To be honest I wasn't expecting Yasir Shah to come out and do what he did in the 1st innings but he did. Taking 14 wickets in a test match is a great achievement as we don't see this happen to often and not from a bowler playing for Pakistan. It brings back memories of the great Pakistan bowlers of the good old days when all batting line ups around the world were scared to face the Pakistan bowlers as they bowled so well and were difficult to play against. Congrats on Pakistan winning the second test which sets up the series nicely heading into the 3rd test match.

cryptopia ended our volume ... why are they irresponsible?  Huh

Yeah I really think they do this on purpose as we have seen this happen all of this year. Maybe they are staking to then sell as the 808 market has gone up over the past couple of weeks even though the whole market has been in a downtrend. I just hope they get this fixed asap so we can continue the momentum.
3040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 25, 2018, 10:29:53 PM
Australia did well to achieve 132 runs in 19 overs however once again rain stopped play and eventually the match was called off due to the rain. So Australia will take a 1-0 lead into the final T20 match on Sunday at the SCG, hopefully this match will not be rain effected.

Australia were the favourites to win this series, and it seems they're on course to win it. I'll agree rain did play spoilsport, but had the match resumed Australia pacers would have undue advantage with pacy winds, and swing on their side. India will really need to bring their best game if they wish to have any chance of winning, and drawing the series and I think Australia will make it difficult for them in short will be an exciting match.

Aussie were not fav before t-20 series. before Brisbane, Aus managed to win only 5 matches against Indian team and India's winning rate was double.

Considering that Warner and Smith are not part of the squad it was little weak team but overall they have given the good performance and manage to win the 1st match. though in 2nd T20 it could have being India's game but rain just saved OZ. Also India is not that good outside their home ground so even this factor could be an advantage to the OZ.

Now after India winning the 3rd T20 match you are proved wrong that India are not good outside home ground. This team is very good for T20 as they are strong in shorter format. Now we have to see how they are going to perform in Odi and Test.

Congrats India to win the T20 match and level the series.

I agree with you as India have always played well in Australia when it is the shorter form of the game but its test match cricket that will test the Indian team as they have never won a test series in Australia. I really believe that this is their best chance at finally winning a test series in Australia as the Australian team is not at full strength with Smith and Warner out of the team however it still won't be easy for India with the bowling attack Australia has. That is why I mentioned in a previous post that this test series will be between the Australian bowlers and the Indian batsman, Australia will be relying more on their bowlers in this test series then ever before as the batting lineup isn't as strong as previous years.
