3021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice speculation thread on: December 16, 2021, 11:59:35 AM
Hi all hope we are having an exciting time playing games this season it's a holiday period and I will like to know who the Dice lovers are, I have spent a lot of time playing dice and have learned various lessons which have helped me to develop and speculate the dice machine so am lead to ask do any of you have speculation/analysis on dice let discuss.
I don't understand why you mean speculate on dice, and regardless if it's holiday or not, dice will be one of the most popular games because of it's simplicity. Good for you that your experience has thought you a strategy that better suit your play, maybe it's up to your capital or bank roll or other factors. Nevertheless, dice is a pure luck based game so not sure what strategy have you developed for yourself.
3022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 16, 2021, 11:37:50 AM
I'd like to thank Mavericks and Lakers both for making us watch a very competitive game last night. The normal time ended by 93-93 and we watched Lakers to beat Mavericks 107-104 after overtime. Lakers must be very happy about Davis' playing in this game also. Because he might not have played in this game because of an injury. The Lebron - Westbrook - Davis trio was so great. Mavericks still did a solid work but it wasn't enough for the win.
Yes, the big 3 of the LA Lakers are very efficient in this game, I hope they'll continue to win and build that chemistry. In that game, it showed that they can trust each other and in synch very well when they play, a team that does win in the OT are a good team as they were able to win even under pressure.

Still good game by the Mavericks, as even without Luka, they were able to complete well against the Lakers.
Yep, I thought that this will be a blow out game by the Lakers since Luka was out. But they give everything they have and could have won the game for the Mavericks.

Nevertheless with this win, the big 3 of Lakers provided was is needed. Maybe in the later part of the season, they will blossom and have that chemistry we all have been waiting for them to be a good contender in the West.
3023  Economy / Speculation / Re: New all time high record | $66,000 on: December 15, 2021, 11:09:05 PM

Anyway, it was something quite unexpected and didn't actually believe that we'll see a new record by at least December. Let time do the work.
i think this could never come in our days now as we are in mid December now yet there is no even sign of hitting 60k again.
i believe that we must be ready now or we will be loser tomorrow , i have decided to take 1/4 of my funds out reserving if there will be bear happening soon so i have funds to buy in very cheap prices.
$50k-$52k might be our best bet to end this year. Far cry from the once touted $100k that some modelling prediction (S2F) is pointing early this year.

And for sure there are a lot of individuals disappointed on how the price will end this year. Hoping at least for a new all time high but it won't come. Good strategy hedging your funds because there's a lot of uncertainty next year. And as I have said, if we don't get to at least $50k at the end of the year, we might see a bear market soon.

Right now we can only hope that bitcoin can recover soon and get out of the current tornado, the current price decline is arguably the worst weakening that has occurred in the last three months, and I personally don't want to think too far into all the possibilities it might happen, but I hope the bitcoin price can rebound to the $50K price resistance by the end of this month.
I don't want to sound doom and gloom, but if you have been in the market for so long, you will be better if you are going to be ready and prepared for a long bear market, just saying. And it's inevitable, sooner or later we will enter a crypto winter.

But in any case, still I want to see a bull run and go hit $100k or more as predicted by so many for this year. Obviously it won't touch that price, but hopefully if there is still a bull run next year so we should at least reach 6 digits as ATH.
3024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My coins percentage down on: December 15, 2021, 01:55:54 PM
Even though the entire cryptocurrency and none crypto assets on the stock market price are down currently but the level at which my various altcoins portfolio crashed backward baffles me, please can anyone explain for me how the altcoins market works.
It's really hard to explain things in crypto market, just when you thought that they are supposed to move in this direction, it will go on the opposite.

And for the altcoins market it's doesn't follow patterns although they may have correlations to bitcoin market. And since bitcoin is down, most of the altcoins are also down.
3025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: December 15, 2021, 12:19:35 PM
..there is only a small margin of distance when Inoue beat Donaire so this must be sealed with another win to prove His skill over the Filipino Boxer.

I completely disagree with that, the scorecard will prove that Inoue pretty well dominated the fight. It was a unanimous win by Inoue and I'm pretty sure he will still remain as the favorite to win when they face for the 2nd time.
Quote
he judges scored it 117-109, 116-111, and 114-113, all for Inoue.
https://www.forbes.com/sites/brianmazique/2019/11/07/naoya-inoue-vs-nonito-donaire-results-winner-scorecards-reaction-and-analysis/?sh=4e4dba9b61ae
Yup, the judges says otherwise, but after the fight, we've been informed that Inoue suffered a broken orbital bone. So I would say that if Inoue doesn't have the resiliency to continue and finished the fight with injury, Donaire could have won the fight without going to the judges score card.

And this the reason why we wanted to see a rematch because Donaire can do better this time as he knows the style of Inoue already.
3026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 15, 2021, 11:38:50 AM
They are still very effective for me as they shared the ball very well.

I agree. They still played quite well as a team. Curry was the most scorer of the team as usual but the contribution of the other players was also important. They wouldn't be winning otherwise.

By the way, there was another great game also last night and I think it was even more delightful. Brooklyn Nets hosted Toronto Raptors. And after a very tough competition, Nets were the victorious team with a 131-129 score. They won the game after overtime. Harden couldn't play again due to illness but KD was there to play superbly and save the team. His statistics were like this: 34 pts, 13 reb, 11 ast. It was one of the most valuable triple-doubles surely.

Surely because they won the game, I can say that KD is the definition of a real star like Kobe and MJ because he can carry his team to win alone, that is without his backup, and I love the Nets chances now especially if they will be complete in the playoffs.

Still no news on Irving?

What's the update of his vaccination? is he still gonna stand with his words?
I think Irving will stand on his words that he won't take a jab.

The Nets with KD has well adjusted already and even without Harden and Harris, they still manage to make a comeback and win in OT against Toronto.

And you are right, KD can carry the team on his shoulder, and as long as he is shooting at least 50%, they are going to win games.
3027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Other forums about (cryptocurrency) gambling? on: December 15, 2021, 11:03:48 AM
Regardless though of any forums that talks about crypto gambling and as old as bitcointalk, this community remain the top go to and dominating the crypto market/gambling for so long that I will say that it become the authority already.

We've seen a lot of online casino's being introduced here, having their ANN thread and then they become the top casinos. So yes, there are a lot but this forum is the best.

3029  Economy / Speculation / Re: TA shows potential bullish breakout - if history repeats on: December 14, 2021, 11:55:42 PM
The bitcoin market seems very different today compared to its previous years and history may not work this time as bitcoin is more dumping its price when it should be rising to reach new heights. But still, knowing the fact that bitcoin is even more unpredictable and surprises may come when we least expect it, so i'm not closing my mind that history has still its chance to repeat itself before this year ends. Well, we will only know once we get there. For now, stay optimistic and never resort into panic selling no matter what.
History may repeat itself, but it may also be different from what happened. Expecting ATH during December is hard to come true as I think people are already wary of the downside about a potential bigger dump. If maybe ATH is not reached this December then I believe the market will experience a rapid correction in the end.

The market is still very difficult to predict, while the new variant of covid greatly disrupts price growth because there is a close corelation with stock investors. We can only hope at a time although it looks like it will be difficult this year to $100K.
I think it should be obvious by now that it is going to be very unlikely that we are going to see a repetition of what happened at December of 2017 during this month, however this is not as bad as people are thinking, after all even if we saw bitcoin reaching new ATHs back then that was also the beginning of the crypto winter we had to survive, so as long as we do not see bitcoin crashing like what we saw back then I will be satisfied with whatever result we get.
Yeah, because we have been what? reaching ATH twice already for this year.

Maybe we already reach the top on the $68k ATH or maybe there will be enough push next year but definitely not in December. So the pattern has broken already although as I have said, we still have 2022 to look forward for a still bullish momentum and not comparable to 2017 wherein it was the start of a bearish trend. So let's see how it goes, I'm looking forward already for 2022 and be ready for anything, (bull trend continue or start of a bear market).
3030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Ioka Dec 31 on: December 14, 2021, 11:26:12 PM
That’s the consequences they have to face on postponing this match and that’s fine for the defending champion because he can have more time to prepare and have a good trainings to defend his title and stay longer with it. We know that Japan is too strict with this, not unless they do this match on other country with a lesser restriction, this might push through early next year.
They can’t just change the venue easily, it will cost them huge money as well and beside Ioka is a Japanese so this might be the reason why they choose that location. Let’s deal with this since they already postponed the match and what to do next is to stay fit and active, stay focus and never get distracted by this delay. Ancajas has the advantage on this since he can still have more time to train because he is defending a huge title on his belt.
It is true that most likely this is not an easy thing to do, but if the fight is delayed for too long it will have to be canceled or they will have to change the venue of the fight, and I suppose that canceling the fight should be even more costly, after all we must understand that in order to reach top shape boxers need a full team of specialists working for them 24/7, and if there is no fight then this means all of those expenses would have been for nothing.
Oh well, if the fight is going to be cancelled then so be it. I mean this fighters have been training already when the news come out that it will be postponed because of Japan's health protocol. And so it is not sure when the fight will happen next year or not. If Ancajas will have another offer, then I would say grab it and win and then he can go back to Ioka again.
3031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 14, 2021, 11:04:10 PM
Another bet I'm taking is the Houston Rockets +11, the Rockets have been impressive recently and I believe they're being underrated with +11 spread l, even though the Hawks are doing well, I think Rockets should cover this line.

Houston +9.5, it's a better odds for now 1.93 so I will take this one as well.

Houston is playing very well in the last 9 games and winning 7 of them. And they usually a 4th quarter team bursting if they are trying to play catch up and then maintain if they have a good lead.
Good luck to everyone

That was some match, wasn't it ?

Houston Rockets trailed by double digits for most period of the entire match, but that run they made in the 4th Quarter was surreal, D.J. Augustin and Gordon had a really great time.

I wish I threw some bucks on the ML as well.

That was a good win for the Rockets, was thinking they could only cover the spread since it was +10, but actually, they don't need it anymore because they beat the home team and snap their losing streak. Congrats to those who bet on them with a sweet ML.
Yep, Rockets is no more a losing team (although they are still below .500), but at least they have put a string of victories and it seems they have find the chemistry already.

Nets -5.5 for me against the Raptors, I think they can easily covered this spread if Durant will have a monster game again. He can do it against Toronto.
3032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 14, 2021, 02:03:30 PM
Although the Warriors don't have an excellent squad (only Curry for me is a high level player), the GSW is playing very well, the team has chemistry and they are winning most of the games.... Unlike the Lakers, who unfortunately , having one of the best squad in the NBA today, he is still fighting for a playoff spot, with much lower performance than expected (I only did a GSW vs Lakers comparison)

If Klay Thompson returns like he was before and have chemistry with others players, I have no doubt the Warriors could be one of the favorites for this season's NBA title.

For now, we see only Stephen Curry doing the main job which is to help the team get wins by a huge performance. In the absence of Klay Thompson, Golden State Warriors have been depending on Curry nearly all the time. This is not very healthy for a team in NBA. Because if your star player gets injured, you will start having enormous problems to deal with. So I hope the rumours turn out to be true and we can see Klay Thompson starting to play officially.
What do you expect? When Curry doesn't score that much, usually GSW losses. But when he is hot, then chances are they are going to win. But the win against the Pacer is very close. It not for that Looney miracle follow up, we might see an OT game and Curry might tie or break the record of Ray Allen. But in any case, he can still achieved it next game against the Knicks.
3033  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your opinion on recent bull market, will it be over soon? on: December 13, 2021, 11:19:12 AM
Really hard to predict, but if we end this year without getting over $50k, we might be in the bear market and this bull run is over. As the new cycle will reappear 2022-2024, I don't want to sound to be loom and doom but we have to accept the fact and be ready for a long bearish trend. On the other hand, if you are for the long term, then once bitcoin goes down hard it will be a perfect opportunity to fill our bags again and wait till the next halving.
3034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: December 13, 2021, 10:35:22 AM
It was Lomachenko all the way it's what we expect if Lomachecnko is not in injury, the speed is still there, I saw on Commey's face the frustration, he has a lot of misses if this is the Lomachecnko that will fight Lopez again, he'll be in big trouble after the Haney - Kambosos fight if it's going to happen, the winner of that match should fight Lomachecnko, he deserves to be a contender after his last two fights.

Kambosos is a very good next opponent for him, but it depends in both of their promoters. Most of the time, it doesn't depend on the boxers, but their respective promoters. Also, the purse split matters in their decision, and to add also the venue. So after this Loma's recent fight, we will see next year, who's next for him. If not Kambosos, Haney/Davis/Garcia are on the list, I believe.
Loma said post fight that he is willing to fight Kambosos anywhere. So with that, it's up to the manager of George, maybe this time it will be 50/50 split since Kambosos is the champion now.

This is the best fight for Loma because Kambosos has the belt that Loma once had and he wants to get it back. And then he go can talk about Haney/Davis/Garcia next.
3035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: December 13, 2021, 09:51:49 AM
And who wouldn't want to see this great fight?

GGG will be tested again by a tough Japanese fighter who is a champion in his own. But covid-19 intervene again and so all we can do is really want for the Japanese government to ease their travel restrictions as this fight will not be move to any countries. And then maybe we can start to speculate again but obviously GGG is the fight favorite amongst us boxing fans.

I don't see a fight getting postponed as it will likely get cancelled eventually. GGG could find another opponent if he sees there's money on it, and I really like to see him fight again as he has been inactive for awhile.
He has beaten everyone in the Middleweight division so who's left for him except champions like Murata or maybe one of the Charlo brothers. But that is if Charlo wanted a piece of GGG right now because it seems they have been avoiding him for quite some time now. So I guess it's better for GGG to really target Murata and wait for the fight to be available.
3036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 13, 2021, 09:21:12 AM
Speaking of KD, nobody talking about the 51 piece he put up tonight?

Yes, because we are not surprised anymore, he is a great player and he can drop that numbers anytime. Durant is now the leading candidate for MVP, I must say based on my observation, and as he continues to play impressive basketball, there's a huge chance that he'll win the award. Brooklyn are really a good 4th quarter team, 30-13, that's the dominance they have.
Him, Curry and Giannis and to a certain extent Joel Embid is putting MVP numbers.

I really thought that the Pistons will take this one from them, but damn, they played really good defense in the fourth with Durant exploded.

And that's what have been missing for them, that fourth quarter closed out. And now it seems they've found their rhythm.
3037  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Finally Climbs Back Above $50k, but can it Remain there? on: December 11, 2021, 06:53:55 AM

I don't know why such analysis if Bitcoin can remain at above $50,000, should be the main concern.
It's because $50k is the biggest barrier right now, so that number is critical, and for us to remain in the bullish sentiments, we need to go past that and maintain.

With the volatile market, we can always expect that there's always an attempt for a downtrend even amid a strong dominance and we already witnessed that many times. For speculators, a close to $100,000 is always what they wanted but this dip reminds us that we can't expect a continuous bullish trend for long. It's good for those who think who are left behind as the opportunity to buy at the dip is now a long wait.
You are right the market is very volatile that's one nature of bitcoin. However, we didn't expect a big downtrend as historically December has been very bullish. And there are even projections and speculations that $100k can be achieved, hence S2F modelling become well known in the bitcoin space.
3038  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Ilunga Makabu on: December 11, 2021, 06:10:35 AM
That's too much for Canelo, the height difference matters also and with Fury, no chance Canelo or GGG would win as even Wilder who is a heavy hitter cannot completely KO Fury.

Height matters but in boxing, as long as you fighting within the same weight, the shorter one has the advantage. Pacquiao and Mayweather is the best proof of that. Canelo is known for his expertise in swing defense. It was so fast that he can make a counter while his opponent is still waiting for their punching stance to come back.

But talking about Canelo vs Fury or Wilder is not a topic for now. It won't happen by any chances until there's a rumor.

If Canelo is successful in Cruiserweight then he might stay there for a while, but yeah, him moving to Heavies? not gonna happen.

Maybe if he can move like Usyk, very fast and technical, maybe he can upset some heavyweight that are slow, but with the likes of Fury who is very fast even at a height of 6'6++ it's hard to see Canelo dealing with that disadvantage.
3039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FUDS started against Bitcoin as asusual on: December 11, 2021, 03:50:27 AM
Don't be surprised though, people are going to create FUD whether we are in a bullish and bearish trend. And you have to understand where they are coming from, (a) investors who want to see the price goes down so that they can buy cheap BTC (b) perma bears (c) perma bears on the front, but from behind, they are secretly buying BTC (d) those who just want to destroy BTC no matter what. But if you are a wise investors, then you know when to take advantage when the price dip or when to listen or not to his FUDs.
3040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 11, 2021, 03:25:43 AM
^^ What happened to the Hornets vs Kings game? I thought that it will go into OT, because the last time I check the score it was 123 all with seconds to go? And then Hornets win by just one?

Phoenix vs Boston - I think the Suns will start a new winning streak, -3.5 handicap can be easily covered. Tough to decide between the Bucks and Rockets, Houston is riding a winning streak of their own, but against Giannis who wants to bounce back from his poor performance last outing.
