3021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Accumulating small odds or choosing one or two big odds on: August 07, 2021, 01:10:04 PM
I'm not too good in predicting with accumulated odds I rather go for a straight win and it's pays off most of the times. I gamble only 10% of my monthly income and decipline myself enough not to exceed it unless I have won extra income on my bet then I can go as far withrawing a certain percentage then increase my stake for that month.

I think 10% of monthly income going to gambling is rather on the high side except for you gambling is a source of income and not totally fun or you are doing it as investment. Usually 10% is should go for things as important to live, like savings, health, rent, feeding but not gambling but when you see your gambling habit as investment, that can be cool then.

Well 10% is huge if your salary is enough and you have many bills or debts to pay off but actually for some gamblers who already set their finance to different things well I think that 10% is enough for them to lose since that money is for their own entertainment. Maybe we have separate opinion towards this but actually this exist already, I know others can't afford even the lowest but my suggestion if there money is not enough for daily living maybe they should set aside their gambling vices since this one could wrecked them.

You are right, the gambler needs to have a breakdown of his expenses for gambling. Financial management in gambling is very important so that we can control the conditions of defeat and can also calculate the amount of income. Everyone must have managed it well, although there are still some who don't pay attention to what percentage they have to bet.

This is the main priority to do by a gamblers since its so hard to get broke if all things will not fall on the place we like and we will lose everything we have if we didn't do proper self control towards spending our money on gambling. That's why we need to manage well our funds so that we will not get stress and can feel relax while playing.
3022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What hatred do people have for Bitcoin? on: August 07, 2021, 10:30:34 AM
Wallet loss? Economic bubble?

I think the emergence of Bitcoin is a good thing. Usually there are a large number of people who simply express their opinions without understanding one thing, and it is meaningless to discuss it.

As everyone knows the risk of BTC investment and they still do because they are seeing the profit from their investment. People are greedy by nature and greed can't be controlled easily.

Many know the risk but they didn't really expect how deep the possibility to lose all what they have since many people coming to invest on crypto or bitcoin always think about profits and only few of new investors do a precautionary measures to minimize the risk. But its really not surprising to see those newbie mistakes on their investment since its normal, but they should learn some good lesson so that next time they can spot a good investment option so that they get a high chance to gain.
3023  Economy / Gambling / Re: Moonbet - Become the Owner of a Crypto Sportsbook & Casino on: August 06, 2021, 02:10:27 PM
There are other gambling platforms that didn't get shutdown even though they did not ask for KYC to create an account but they may ask for KYC if a certain gambler is suspicious or a gamble wants to withdraw a huge amount of money. That's what most gambling platform does to avoid money laundering and other breaking rules situation. It would be only less people will gamble if the site does require KYC to create an account just to gamble as some prefer being anonymous that's all.
As crypto users, we are aware that the KYC is one part of the services such as gambling sites, exchanges, and other third parties needed to avoid money laundry. But if we can, we always avoid the gambling site which requires KYC for the members. We are happy because many gambling sites will not require KYC and I am sure that gambling sites will have many loyal members. If one gambling site asks about KYC, we can move to the other site which does not ask KYC and we do not have to worry because we will find a way to play gambling without verifying our account.

The nice thing is that we have one of the best iGaming Lawyers on our side, who will advise us on how we can optimize the user experience while still respecting the license. We will do whatever we can to make sure that players are safe, secure and can easily access the site, but also ensuring that those who have invested in the project can trust that our platform will always be in good standing.
That is good. But you need to be aware of the government's regulation where your site is because they will always want to force what they want on any business. Maybe in the future, they want to ask you to include the KYC on your site so they can know who your customers are.

But I believe that you will work for your customers and will not disappoint them because you know how to treat your customers better.

KYC is somehow avoided by players especially if this is implemented by new casino so maybe they should operate and gather good reputation first so that gamblers could trust about their real identity here. We know how big the risk to provide our private information since stealing someone's identity is so rampant and it's hard our infos will be putted on scam website and this could give us huge problem.
3024  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What motivates you to start investing in cryptocurrency? on: August 06, 2021, 12:59:02 PM
A year ago I had a friend who talked about cryptocurrency and checked the news about cryptocurrency on YouTube and various websites. At the time, I didn't know what cryptocurrency was and was very skeptical.
In the past few months, I saw a lot of news about profiting from investing in cryptocurrencies, and I also saw a store that indicated that it was possible to pay with Bitcoin.I became interested in it, so I asked that friend to leave the knowledge about cryptocurrency as a hobby investment.
How did you start investing in cryptocurrency?

We cannot erase the doubts on our minds about crypto since we don't know if this is legitimate or not but good thing we push ourselves to overcome our fear to get scam and now we are doing some good business by using it.

And if we talk about what motivates me or us to start investing on cryptocurrency well I can say the huge profit it can possibly generates since unlike any other traditional forms of investment in crypto there's a lot of chances that we can earn huge although the risk is so high but if you know how to handle things and to minimize the risk then we can say that we are doing good so far.

3026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you lend your cryptocurrencies? on: August 05, 2021, 01:59:31 PM
Your advise is very helpful for us. Because .don't loose your funds in lending crypto coins. Because you can't do anything if a person does not returns your funds. Because crypto currency is a decentralized currency and can't do anything when we send funds to anyone. So, don't make greedy to get some interest on your funds. Your advise is 100% right. And i am agreed with your opinion.

To avoid such risk towards giving a loan to random people here is to ask for collateral, this is what other lender do so that they can recover their funds if the lender defaulted from their loans. But if you can't avoid to do this better forget about giving some loans to the people here since for sure this will never worth and you will just get some stress thinking if your borrower will pay the amount which he borrows to you.
3027  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin current stage and price on: August 05, 2021, 11:53:38 AM
And so far as the price breaks $40k and then goes down again is an indication that we might be in for another sideways pattern in the $37k-$39k region, it's not that bad as we still have the last quarter push to get to new all time high of $70k or at least a 6 digit which everyone is betting that it could happen.
Its not an unusual scenario seeing the price of bitcoin turning ups and down. When the price touch $40k again, some investors are probably take advantage the situation to take profit thats why it didnt last long.

Well we are still in the second month of the third quarter thus there are many things that can happen that can affect not only btc but the crypto in general.

Another bullish market is about to happen in the future and im optimistic that it might happen before this year end thus instead of thinking of the current price I am more focus on what lies ahead.

If whales bought at $30k dollars level then its good time to secure them when bitcoin price soar up to $40k since they actually secure a lot of money by dumping at that level. Maybe we can see them waiting up for another opportunity so we need to be watchful on the scene if we want to ride up to the current market condition.

For sure another bullish season will happen in future and if you look at the history you can see it this happen after the halving.
3028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Accumulating small odds or choosing one or two big odds on: August 05, 2021, 10:38:36 AM
It is a better option for me to pick one or two big odds and place a bet on them with a substantial amount rather than pick multiple small odds and gamble with a small amount.

My reason is because i feel like i should be able to predict the outcome of two or three fixtures correctly and get something good rather than trying to get the outcome of multiple games at a go. It is true that sometimes people win, but the chances are Slimer and sometimes a stroke of luck.
When it comes in gambling we cant guarantee the price or whether we will win or lose no matter how we calculate the odds . It's more of pur luck and how we take the risk. Small odds didn't hurt much as long as we learn to manage every bets we do or we only risk the amount we can lose.

Some calculation is just made for fun purposes for other so that they can focus on their games but as you said this will never give any guarantee especially if we are in luck based games, But for using small odds for sure we can enjoy the game and we can prolong our game time since the risk is not high and we cannot really feel our losses also we can easily recover back since we have so many chances to place on.
3029  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you been grateful for today? on: August 04, 2021, 02:32:21 PM
I just opened Facebook and read a short, but meaningful post. in the post it says

Quote
A mountain of gold would not be enough for a greedy person.
But, a plate of food is enough for a grateful person

I ponder when I do daily trading in the crypto market, I often get profit even though it is not too much, But I am always annoyed and irritated if the profit I get is not on target. I forgot to be grateful and hopefully, I can be a grateful person even though I get a little profit from crypto trading.

Since you are a day trader, you can expect to make profits at every trades because with day trading of 100% can make you a millionaire in very few months but literally it is not possible to keep the success rate higher with day trading. Everyone in this world os greedy about making money even they they say they are having enough they still going to invest or work to make more money.

We need a lot of experience to became millionaire on day trading and also huge capital is also needed since knowing we only earn small percentage and if we bet only small amount then provably we might struggle to earn that millions in few months. Remember people are greedy about money so provably we will encounter those scenario that we will put some huge bet in exchange on a change to win the higher prizes.
3030  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could crypto replace government? on: August 04, 2021, 10:37:03 AM
Quite an imagination I'd say. As much as we want to believe that Bitcoin has a great future. I think this is one can't be a reality. Governance is meant to create and maintain order in a much larger and a disorder susceptible system. There's no way crypto would do all of these without being influenced by a third party. Thereby loosing it's integrity.

Especially crypto has no entity since no one holds it so for sure theirs no strong laws will make it as a legal replacement of whatsoever things we imagine. For sure government will still prevail since we know how strong the government is and if they see something strange which doesn't give them any benefits for sure they will put a regulation or maybe stop its spread on their country that's why we see some other country ban bitcoin since they don't want this interfere on their economic run.
3031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies price and their effect on gambling industry on: August 03, 2021, 01:23:52 PM
We all know that there are games like Dice, Bustabit and other very popular in crypto casinos. The minimum amount that people can bet is usually 0.00000001 BTC.
The value of 0.00000001 is more than 70x high compared to 2016 year. So, the current 0.00000001 is equal of 2016's 0.00000070 satoshi. How does this price increase affect the crypto business? Do you see less profit in bitcoins and or in USD? Or even very significantly higher?

Most of the people buy bitcoins in USD value and play with them, there are a website Duelbits where you deposit the btc and it gets converted into USD value right after the deposit but I don't see other casinos doing the same, Well, for old people it might be a big inconvenient but there's always an option to use an altcoin if you're used betting 0.01 BTC/bet in 2016.
Talk about 0.01 btc in 2016 will not give you much USD because, at that time, the bitcoin price is not too high compared to 2017-2018. So with that amount of bitcoin, people will not have to feel too sad if they lose that amount. But when the bitcoin prices start to increase and reach more than $20k this year, losing 0.01 btc will give pain in their head, especially if we do not have many bitcoins.

But people will still gamble, whether it uses bitcoin or USD because they like gambling and it is hard to leave gambling forever. The crypto gambling industry will grow, no matter how high the bitcoin price will be, because the crypto gambling industry has altcoins, which can be many people's options to gamble. So that is why people will come to the crypto gambling site and play their favorite gambling games.

Actually sometimes those volatility incident is pain in the ass of the casinos since imagine if they bought at the peak for payout of winnings purposes then suddenly the bitcoin price soar down this incident makes them already a loser plus we add the high payment fees which is another painful scenario which take their balances for every transaction they made. But what good thing there is if the casino have strong balls and doesn't pull the selling button and surrender for sure they have chance to recover back. Those old casinos out there shows this strength that's why its good to gamble at that place compare to new ones which we don't know their capabilities yet.
3032  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull trap or lasting on: August 03, 2021, 12:03:06 PM
Dear all

I think, this is bullrun continuation. But some people say bull trap. If 43000 btc break , unstoppable
But it's not lol , 43k? it can only break the 42k and then fell down again to 38k now.

https://coinmarketcap.com/

It is really hard for bitcoin to stay at 40k in at least 10 days because this always being dumped after hitting 40,000 level.

but i am keeping my faith and yeah if 43,000 is broken than we might see another climbing high .

Maybe some certain situations contribute to the growth of bitcoin, also August is bad month for Chinese so maybe this one contribute also to the growth of bitcoin but I don't actually believe on this superstitious belief of Chinese things so hopefully we can see bitcoin reach at $45k so that we can eliminate the fear of others who think about something like this and keep believing on other unbelievable stuffs on crypto.
3033  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scam calling on: August 03, 2021, 10:19:32 AM
I would say don't even let anyone know about your personal number which is linked with bank accounts and other things that deal with banking and money, scammers via calls randomly target and wait for their prey who are old and illiterate who can't differenciate such things and you know still people are falling for old scam techniques while banks haven't taken any actions against them because the money lost is too small for a bank but for the individual it can be his life saving.
Banks can't put much into the case as money lost is on the part of customers and they have said before hand that bank officials don't demand for any personal details of the client in any case like card pin or anything because they already have necessary details and ask to visit your branch. Moreover it's customer loss not banks so why would they care about it much. Why the hell people share any such details with scammers i don't know inspite of many fraudulent cases being reported everyday.Lack of awareness and greed are two main factors which keep these things going on.
Banks says that your money is safe in their banks then they are supposed to keep it safe, I agree that banks always giving warning about impersonators who is trying to get your card details and pin but what about people who don't even know how to read? How they are supposed to understand that warning? If they are not taking any responsibility then they should let the people to handle the money on their own instead of pushing everything to the digital banking.

I think they need to have proper screening to their depositors since not everyone knows about how all this things works especially on tech side but after the orientation or explanation made by bank officer or the teller then its up to the account owner to learn somethings about how they can secure their funds since they are the one who's handling it. If they don't know even if the explanation is done better if they brought a trusted companion a family member which can help him on these things.
3034  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] Binance fake giveaway website... on: August 01, 2021, 03:15:26 PM
I checked their wallet https://btc.com/btc/address/1UstgjgzVSmwBPaDGHmc9T6pgEKLAx3Wf and it turned out to be empty, having no transactions. So in this case, they did not manage to fool anyone
Unfortunately, they change the address every now and then so it's impossible to know how much they collected and how many victims fell for this scam.
This scam is so obvious and I don't think any one will fall for it. Just look at the transactions they posted as evidence on the bottom of the page! They are all fake.
All transaction hashes start with"1"! Obviously, they don't know the difference between a transaction id and an address.

Its crazy to see if there are people will get caught on this scheme since this is classic one and there are so many information where we can search om how legitimate this is and also the binance support is reachable and we can contact them anytime to verify somethings. Thats why its really crazy if there still victim of these schemes.maybe they rush things thats why they see some lapses unto there side and good to see that there are people who notice this.
3035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: August 01, 2021, 12:36:16 PM
Being President has a lot of responsibilities to take. I can't say much on this because I don't want to underestimate Pacquiao's capabilities. Who knows, a country doesn't need a very well educated individual to make a change? But of course, when it comes to boxing, I am rooting for him. Excited to watch this fight as I'm placing bets on him.
His track record in politics will give everyone the idea if he is capable to handle bigger things and responsibilities as public servant.

But it seems those records and numbers gives the judgment that he isn't capable. Yeah, let us go back to the odds.
For his record the top 1 most absentee senator in Philippines it show that he is not really capable to handle the job plus he is not capable mentally since we know he doesn't have anything to prove yet as his reputation about this is totally zero. I don't judge Pacquiao as bad politician but he's not ripped yet to handle the office maybe he should study the law first and study the different issues occurs in his country so that in future maybe in year 2030 he is well equipped and knowledgeable politician.
3036  Other / Archival / Re: El Salvadorans are not happy about accepting bitcoin as a means of payment on: August 01, 2021, 11:03:22 AM
This is really terrible news for El Salvador then. 77% is a really huge percentage. El Salvador bought $140m worth Bitcoin with the aim of distributing it among its people to incentivize them for using Bitcoin. But if El Salvadorans aren't willing to do such thing, then all of this effort would be in vain I'm afraid.
It takes some time and the people will eventually accept plus the government is still the authority and they will enforce it no matter what plus incentives is a good thing, I mean they just have to use the bitcoin goven to them to do some daily transactions right? Also, El Salvador should make a some way so people can fully accept it like installing bitcoin ATM ad having stores and markets integrate a crypto payment system, it doesn't have to be complex because there's existing apps out there already.
What will installing Bitcoin ATMs have to do with the price volatility? and the Government is not the one to put up the store where Bitcoins will be accepted. I believe that the problems are not even the ATMs and the stores because I believe that there are stores already but it is the acceptance due to the main problem of Bitcoins volatility that is the issue. Even when they do accept Bitcoin and with the financial situations of El Salvador, their concerns will be how much they will be losing during the bear season and we know that Bitcoin is not yet as convenient as Fiat. I guess these are some of the problems that will keep Bitcoin from being fully utilized as a general currency until it is figured out.

Majority of them doesn't know about bitcoin so for sure many of them got panic when bear market hit the same what happen these couple of days. But I believe this is temporary problem unto them since its normal to see people dislike some things which they don't understand but once they know how bitcoin really works for sure they can the sudden changes to the market and they can earn fast cash once bullish season starts.
3037  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I recommend a friend to buy Bitcoin now? on: July 31, 2021, 10:30:01 PM
We have to be patient to wait for the right momentum if we want to buy it at a lower price but if we want to invest long term then now we have the opportunity to net at $38k when resistance occurs
Sure, we should be patient to wait for the right time to buy. $38k is still possible if there will be a dump, but it is unlikely to happen this weekend. Maybe it will take two or three days for the next decline time. But I suggest not buying for the long term, it is time to buy for a short-term target. if you want to buy for the long term, you are better to wait for the bearish season. Then, you can buy Bitcoin at a very cheap price. While today, we are still in bullish season, just focus on buying for the short term.

But what if the right time is now and bitcoin will go pump again upto $60,000 or even more? Then his friend will miss to buy and got his at more expensive price right? Maybe it's good to buy but make sure you do it because you use it on investments to make your bitcoins grow but if you buy just because to hodl then it will give you a lot of stress since market moves unexpectedly it can go up and down any time or shall we say any minute.

I'm a new member of Bitcointalk. Since I joined the forum I have been taking my time to study the rules and the system of the forum, so that I can have a better understanding about everything  in the forum. My little time have spent reading topics in the forum is not enough. There are a lot of things for me to know , and if I keep making only research and reading of post it will take me months. I also need to drop a post as I make research so as to get understanding from the contribution of old member who have been here before me.
My presence in this forum is one of the greatest thing to me, because I know after sometime  things I'll learn here will change and add value to me.

Sometimes reading news about latest happenings really helps you to know about what's happening here and you can contribute good to the discussion if you are knowledgeable about the topic discuss by the members here so I suggest after you read the rules regarding newbies guide next is to follow the media sites who cover the latest updates about bitcoin and other content creator who focus creating good contents which is helpful for newcomers to know more about bitcoin there are so many of them on youtube or other blog sites and they are quite good to begin with.
3040  Economy / Economics / Re: Amazon will accept Bitcoin payment this year on: July 30, 2021, 01:48:19 PM
For me, this is one big reason why Bitcoin suddenly jumped from the previous consolidation range of $30k to $32k and now between $39k to $40k. It’s a good decision by Amazon to embrace Bitcoin in open arms, because they’ve finally been enlightened on how BTC payments would help boost not only their giant e-commerce platform, but also the adoption and awareness to its consumers.

Reading through the thread would sometimes make sense before posting here. Then you would have realized that Amazon already denied that they will not add Bitcoin as a payment option soon. It was a small English newspaper which brought this rumor to the surface. And it obviously was a hoax. However, Amazon confirmed that they are still working on their own "stable coin" which they will integrate and accept in the upcoming year.

Maybe someone pays the news outlet to manipulate the people who follow bitcoin and they are successful since it cuts the dramatic downfall happen to bitcoins and now the market is in good side. I love to see that bitcoins recovers up and hopefully the next month fud will not bring bitcoim down simce I don't know what figure we can possibly reach up  if in Ghost month we will experience a bad market movements.
