3021  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My business currency on: January 13, 2023, 07:04:29 PM
As we know today globally currently is greatly lossing it value as a means of exchange. There by the world are gradually using cryptocurrency as a means of exchange both investors and trader. Am also opurtune to use Bitcoin as a means of exchange. I buy goods and pay with Bitcoin. So like I say in a little time cryptocurrency will be the only currency in digital market. So I urge every one of us to key into cryptocurrency as a means of exchange in any businesses we deal with.
Yeah, it will just be a matter of time before many stores will be having their acceptance of bitcoin. But for the past two to three years, I think that acceptance has increased a lot compared to the past years under that. Bitcoin is growing and it's on a straight line that its acceptance rate will increase together with the demand too. It is that, many still don't understand what it is and how it works and there are people that still doubt it because they lack information all about it.
Bitcoin price didn't grow in a straight line and won't ever be as it's a volatile crypto but if it's only about the adoption rate or acceptance then I think yes. I am sceptical a bit when I say that because I realized that banning can also happen.

There are who continuously allow BTC but it was the people who got scared and refrain from using it by the time they hear a negative news, FUDs and then when they witness that it's value is sometimes dumping a lot. Learning is still essential so that it helps people to stay calm in the hard times but I don't think this will be effective to the government. Greed and wanting to control bitcoin is a different story anymore.
I don't worry about banning because they've been there years ago and then bitcoin was still able to overcome it. And the news of negativity and FUD that it spreads, they'll remain to be there.
But everyone who has an idea of what bitcoin is will have the thought that it's nothing wrong to have it and it's an actual piece of thing and technology that has a real value.

Gilnebra will be play with all Filipino line up in game 7, can you believe that?

I wonder how's the import eligibility terms of Ginebra in the Governor's Cup now that Brownlee is now a Filipino.

Since Brownlee can't be considered now as an import, does it mean he can play as a local alongside a new import? Or since he's not listed as an original roster in Ginebra, he might not be the import for the next conference and we might not see him playing for the Kings.

I will do some research regarding that.
I guess that's it and just like how the Bay Area Dragon reactivate their import, Powell. So, there's the possibility that there could be an import on the side of Ginebra on Sunday.
Just for game 7, there could be some surprises on their roster based on the naturalization of Brownlee. Thus, it's just the same roster and Brownlee is going to be for keeps of the Ginebra for the next conference.
3023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Celsius won $4.2B worth of customers funds on: January 13, 2023, 05:01:18 PM
Yeah, you nailed it. I'm actually thinking if the judge has got some freebies under his table from Celcius. That's the first thing that has come to my mind because of the decision.
It's easy to say that based on the ruling or what, but judging it logically, we can say that it's the customer's fund and not Celcius. But anyway, it's sad for the part of those customers that have their funds on it and can't do anything with the verdict.

Why do both of you ignore the obvious? You are welcome to speculate that the system corrupts and so on. But since you are saying by judging it logically, why don't you inspect the snipped parts of the court order document I have quoted on this thread above?

It is absurd to have scepticism on the court itself while you didn't address any minuscule parts of the court documents. Actually, if you really do believe the ruling is indeed rigged, you should address your rationale about why you think the funds are deserved to be kept as the user's ownership.
I didn't ignore the obvious and my bad if it looks like it is and given thoughts and that's it. I've read what you've said and it's a sad fact that many of us don't read the terms and conditions and yet we're willing to deposit a lot of money onto these platforms.
Yeah, it's been written and the users have no longer jurisdiction since they've agreed to the terms given to them. Well, what I've said is just my own opinion and logical thinking which may not be appropriate if it's all about the process that has gone through.
3024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which NFT projects you looking at? on: January 13, 2023, 04:17:14 PM
I'm interested to see which NFT projects that you like. I believe NFT projects that incorporate gaming NFT, businesses, Unique ID purposes, and further adoption that could be used by this technology in more ways than it currently has.

Anyone have any suggestions on what you are looking at? I would love to see and look into them.
If you're still into NFTs, my tip is that just go with those establishments-based NFTs that have been generated by them and not just by random kiddo on the web that has generated millions of it already.
At least with a company-backed NFT, you may not know the future of it but they might have some plans on it like an actual use case of having it as a basis for their discounts and stuff.  Tongue
3025  Local / Pamilihan / Re: (FREE) PBA Finals Competition (guess the winner and the series score) on: January 13, 2023, 03:33:17 PM
Congrats sa inyo guys, umabot kayo ng game 7. Dapat linggo para maraming tao, family time yan, saka maaga naman mag uumpisa, so for sure puno yang Philipine Arena.

Tongue
3026  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Negative Perception sa PH Crypto Start-up project on: January 13, 2023, 02:31:40 PM
3027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: January 12, 2023, 08:58:07 PM
As bitcoin goes, ETH is up too.

Ethereum  has come along way. A lot of people in private circles are talking about how AI is now creeping on the ETH chain. Generating ART. Creating NFT’s . Even creating Account’s and selling it’s own NFT’s. Crazy times we live in. Embarrassed  Never could have imagined ETH giving rise to Skynet  Cheesy
That's giving the idea to even in the corporate world, some of them are now giving their NFTs to their consumers and not just giving it but also selling it.
Well, thanks to ETH's smart contract that has opened it all and some projects that have been made out of it before got the little foot steps that has been followed through ETH.
3028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is a Blue Chip NFT? on: January 12, 2023, 08:25:21 PM
This is the wrong board to discuss NFTs. This board is for Bitcoin Discussion so move this thread to Altcoin Discussion (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=67.0) where all discussions are related to NFT/Altcoins.
Anyway as for these NFTs, whether they're branded or whatever is the name of it what I believe is most of them are nearly done and if ever some new NFTs will emerge, they'll just be few, really few.

3029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fees on Dormant Accounts on Crypto Gambling Platforms on: January 12, 2023, 07:58:22 PM
There are casinos that have got their tokens and that's why some gamblers are also investors as they get to have a portion of the casino's profit through dividends by having the token that they own.
Yeah, I agree that it's not recommended to keep your funds the same as the exchanges in the casinos because you'll not know if something happens badly and your funds is also affected.
Someone who has investments at casino platforms should monitor it every few weeks or once a month at least. They also need to monitor their email frequently, because if the casino is going to seize funds or close an account due to inactivity, they usually send a warning email first to the user in question with a deadline. Anyway, since the goal of the investment is long term, I think it's unfair if a casino forces the investor to keep login in to not close his account. It looks like the platform isn't being user friendly when doing this, and also like they are putting a trap (investment feature) to grab money from careless investors.
True, I've seen gamblers that have complained and asked for the same matter in the forum that they've missed those notifications made by the casino where they've got deposits left.
The idea of having some activity and login on their account should really be considered, the user even invested on their token and still requires to do so but anyway, as the usual reminder, it's not good to keep your assets on if you've got no plans of investing on them.
3030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why retail dont like xrp ? Are you xrp army ?what about garlinghouse on: January 12, 2023, 07:26:36 PM
They're not FUD but actual facts that XRP is in no good situation because of what they're facing about the lawsuit made by the SEC.
If this lawsuit becomes gone and that's going to be a big news for XRP itself and then most investors and traders are quickly going to FOMO with that good news, ONLY IF.
Yeah, this one is what we have or at least the investors is looking at this case has been dragging on for years if I'm not mistaken and there are no clear victor although XRP claim that they have a small victory and it pushes the price.

But it wasn't sustainable as we have though.

So for sure investors are still very cautious about XRP because we don't know what will be the outcome of the verdict. If it favors them by a long shot then good for their investors. But if it's not then obviously the price might go down hard.
The battle AFAIK hasn't ended yet and yeah, no clear winner yet. And that's what makes it lose the interest of many investors that would like to take it.
But even before the battle, I don't like XRP as it's centralized and many have said the reason before. I don't follow it a lot since I don't care at all with it but it's a good discussion as to why it's not making progress unlike other altcoins.

3032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 12, 2023, 06:29:30 PM
Game 7 do-or-die game will be on Sunday on the Philippine Arena. I'm a bit curious how many people will try and watch the game. Based on Wikipedia, the Arena has 55,000 seats. Will we ever see the Arena be filled with audiences? Will we ever see the greatest number of audiences who watched a PBA game in history?
I think a few years ago when the PBA made their finals game there in the Phil. Arena, the audience was like 50k. I think this time, it will be the same or it will be maxed out. It's Sunday and restrictions were loosened for everyone and that's why most travelers and fans can watch the game there without anything to think of requirements, unlike before when most establishments are very strict. But one thing is for sure on Sunday, whether maxed out audiences or not, it will make history with the guest team, win or lose.
3033  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you ready to spend crypto when market is down on: January 12, 2023, 05:34:31 PM
That's the thing with most altcoins holders, they tend to think that holding altcoins is significant but if you look at what they're holding then it's too late for them to keep on holding it.
What's wrong is when they've found it out too late and then they start to think of cutting loss. Well, 5%, 10% or 20% are still good but if it goes like more than that then it's really quite late for them to sell at losses. But I still see some few success stories that they've made the decision to sell at losses even it's too late already but then recovers with the coin that they've bought.

It's no longer good if the lost is more than 50% but they don't have any chance since holding alts is really a risk that investors and traders needs to understand, before taking any action or participating with any alt investment make sure that you are mentality and financially prepared with what you expectand how will you react in each market movements.

Not easy but instead of spending your hold asset, if you think chance of bounce back is possible, then try to keep holding till you see the market bounce back in your favor.
It's risky and they cannot revert when the loss is already too much. And those that are in deep losses, they have no choice but to hold it until there's nothing to no hope left anymore on them.
They've just accepted their losses in there and think that it's a lesson that they should learn upon investing in altcoins. It ain't easy but learning into those experiences is a must.
3034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Celsius won $4.2B worth of customers funds on: January 12, 2023, 10:36:25 AM
With all of the events that have come from these centralized platforms and now with the judge giving the verdict that Celcius is the rightful owner of people's fund deposited in them, this will make everyone rage and will stop trusting them anymore.
At least to those that have a bad experience with them, they'll start to trust their funds on any of them and if they'll use the service, it's like the exact amount that they want to have it there and no longer with excess money to be kept there which is good.
Do you also have the same thoughts as me that there is something wrong with the judge's decision and Celsius made an agreement with the judge handling the case.
The money saved by the customer should still be the right of each of them instead of the judge declaring that Celsius won in court and declaring all the money saved legally belonged to Celsius.
However, I would not be surprised if there was indeed an act of bribery to be able to win a trial, especially since there was a large amount of money involved in the case and somehow it would have been done to win it.

3037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Not To Use Mobile Altcoin Wallet - But Use Desktop Wallet on: January 11, 2023, 11:52:34 PM
Mobile altcoin wallets are not safe, because there are viruses and malware targeting mobile phones. The best way would be use desktop wallet versions. Also antivirus soft are mainly developed for desktop.
It's just the same, both mobile and desktop wallets are being targeted by hackers. And when someone gets infected, it's because of their carelessness.
Whether you use a mobile wallet which you think is safer than a desktop, you shouldn't be confident with that and vice versa. Hackers target anyone that's being used by people and both of it has a wide range of users worldwide.
Being safe depends on your browsing attitude.

It would be dangerous for the gamblers if they kept their coins too long in the casino but if the gamblers didn't have the coins, it would be okay for them.
If our account at the casino gets frozen and we still want to go back to gambling at the casino, we can still contact customer service so they can reopen it.
If we never break the casino rules, they will open our account again or tell us to create a new account.
And one thing to watch out for is never to deposit any coins in the casino as there is a risk of closing inactive accounts.
There are casinos that have got their tokens and that's why some gamblers are also investors as they get to have a portion of the casino's profit through dividends by having the token that they own.

And someone becomes dumb even if with experience when his emotions are too high. It's like he's unstoppable and he'll do anything he wishes as if no one will ever stop him from doing so.
That's what high emotions can do, you're forgetting that trading is a mental game and you shouldn't be too hasty with decisions that you'll do when your money and trades are involved.
When emotions are already that being trying to pop out and tends to control on everything and you do able to tolerate it instead of controlling it then you would definitely ending up on making bad decisions on whatever

you are doing and specially if you are doing trading then it would really be a huge effect in regarding to this which it is something that really needs to be avoided. If you do lack up some experience and knowledge
then it would be normal on having these kind of reaction. For a volatile market like this then you cant really avoid on having these kind of emotions and thinking because of its unpredictability or
something that is really random.
You can't control it when it's high and that's why instead of controlling it, you're just going to tolerate it because that's how it goes. You may be aware of it but you have no full control over it because what you want is what you will follow and that is to trade under your high emotions.
Yeah, it's unpredictable and you have to experience it when you're thinking of just trading without plans and soon, it will come to pass that you'll regret that you did the wrong thing and decision.
