Hey everyone. The coin in question here is labeled 16J2e and it's full address is 16J2e5LGkMTAjn7JZt4o78od4KKS9ZXf4P. During the creation process I used blockchain.info's api to get the first bits. Apparently there was a timing or indexing issue there because the bits returned ended up changing. Lesson learned, I'll not rely on that method in the future. I have not found any other coin that is mislabeled but I will be running a script to verify them all here shortly. For reference on the coins already produced the labeled address and the full bitcoin address can be verified below: http://serpco.in/bits.txtAhh thanks serp for the address and clarification. Anyway, like I said, this thread is just for me to see what possible offers would be. If there none, that's perfectly fine by me

Update:
1. In the next week or two I will be posting a public list of all funded coins that have been purchased.
2. In the same timeframe (likely after I catch up on the last set of orders) I will be making the promised LTC donation to the Litecoin Development team's public LTC address. This donation is based upon how many first batch coins were sold. (SEE OP for more info).
will the 1/4 oz coins be arriving around then as well?

I don't think that necessarily means that the coin isn't loaded properly. Looking it up on block chain, I see that the address it goes to, the first bits are all capitalized, and it was loaded in 2011. I think what may have happend is by chance the first bits of your coin happen to be the same as the first bits of that address, which held a balance well before your coin did. First bits are not case sensitive it seems. At any rate, I'll buy it from you for .03BTC The coin is definitely funded, and I'll provide the address for you. I can't right now because I'm on my mobile (old blackberry x_x)

So I discovered one of my two serp funded aluminum Casascius coins have an error. It is loaded with .05 BTC The firstbits don't correspond with the address on blockchain.info The firstbits are 16j2e I 'might' sell it. I want to know what would you offer for it? So far, this is the only one out of his 3 batches of 48. Reply your possible offer here
