3021  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hacker of FTX dumping ETH for BTC on: November 20, 2022, 10:31:44 PM
I think most people believe this wasn’t a hacker but a backdoor setup for Sam to grab his golden parachute as he jumps out of the plane. I’m not surprised the “hacker” would rather sit on BTC than ETH. Hopefully this dumping means that the end of this FTX saga won’t be too far away, at least for markets. Users likely have a multi-year fight ahead of them to try and recover anything they thought they owned.

I have a feeling that this saga will be just forgotten, there are a lot of personalities, names of famous people popping up as somewhat either a investor or directly to connected to the project itself. And SBF himself is very influential with his family background so I doubt that this will just end like that, on the contrary it will drag for years and I would say that it can have some effect on the market.

As for the "hack", it was admitted that the Government of the Bahamas has involved themselves and somewhat forced SBF to hand them the remaining funds.

So for me this is not a hack per se.
3022  Economy / Gambling / Re: Selling Online Crypto Casino on: November 20, 2022, 10:20:18 PM
It seems like lots of people here are Idiots and dont know how casinos work.
No im not rigging it and no, im not a scammer. You are just Gambling addicts who think that you have a chance at winning.

Wow. And you think anybody is going to take you up on your offer? You are obviously a grifter trying to trick people into buying your scam. Whatever you are offering, I will have to decline.

Furthermore, I am strictly warning everyone not to participate in OP's charade. If you want to own a casino, you need to put in the hard work yourself. There are no shortcuts in such a business. Buying finished "casinos" (especially from random newbie accounts) will result in you in downloading some malware/viruses which will without a doubt try to subvert your efforts, steal your and your clients money and do further damage.

STAY AWAY
HAHA wow. Yes, I will definitely install malware on your computer after you pay for a service and I am definitely a "Scammer" despite just being a developer who wants customers... this kind of stupid behaviour is definitely what I expected in the gambling forum, thanks for bumping my post though  Wink

I mean you should at least take those constructive criticism here mate.

You come here, make offer to gamblers and potential buyers and then when we criticized, you just throw some tantrums.

In any case, good luck to you and your best, but not sure how can your business will stay here in the community when you have that kind of attitude.
3023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 20, 2022, 10:10:04 PM
Well you can say that to Anthony Joshua as well, he did Robert Garcia as his new trainer but the result is the same, he lost to Usyk.

The case though with Taylor is that he didn't lost the fight, he won it although a bit controversial. Perhaps he think that he need to change things up, but when you have been in this sports for a long time and become a champion like him, it might be hard to relearn things.

Yes, for sure his new trainer will point his weaknesses, but once they go and fight and punch each other in the face again, he could be back to his old habits again.

And as Mike Tyson put it, "Everyone has a plan, till they got punch in the mouth".

I agree it is hard to forget the old ways but there are people who are capable of adapting and absorbing new techniques, even modifying their previous style with the improved one.  It is true that there is a possibility that Josh will come back to his old style but I believe that is the reason why there is months of training and preparation before the two boxer fight.  But whatever, I think we can only see the truth via watching it on the scheduled fight.

Yes, we can only see those changes inside the ring, and I think more than that, how the new coach will motivate Josh in this fight. Trainers is not just to train their boxers and prepare them, it is also very important to give them instructions that will push them to their limits specially if they are down in a fight.

I've seen a lot of trainers trying every trick in the book inspire their boxers in a highly competitive fight and most of the time it is very effective.

I mean, you see your boxers, really down and he needs to win by a knock out, you will have to really provoke something inside of him to turn the tide and win the fight via the best way, to knock your opponent down.
3024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 20, 2022, 10:00:24 PM
Will this be another season that Lakers fail in even qualifying for playoffs?

Considering the current level of performance, they are really going that way for now. They are the second worst team in the Western Conference after Rockets now. Lebron is giving his best in every single game as usual. Now he has got a thigh injury and missed three games because of it already. If they have another very poor season then I assume Lebron might think of leaving in case he gets a reasonable offer. He is already waiting for playing beside his son and the team don't matter for him I assume.

Seriously not. Judging from their recent performance, yes they got a few wins along the way but they are still struggling to be consistent which is surely not enough to even qualify in the play-in tournament. And if that's already their limit then they should start rebuilding in the next season because their current roster won't get anywhere far.

But they still have a chance to improve while the qualifying phase is still far, I'm thinking that they should stop revolving around Lebron because that's mostly where they messed up, Lebron end up working alone because they are following his play. Let Lebron adjust because there's no doubt that he can still contribute, let the other players step up so that they will be the ones who will end up carrying the team because Lebron cannot do that job anymore.
Yes, consistency is the key for them right now but I can see a hope for them. Last games were not so bad for them, I feel like we might see a little improvement in the at least short term. I agree with your point about Lebron. I hugely respect him and actually love his approach to basketball in the last 5-10 years, but he cannot carry the team anymore. He is just merely too old. That must be accepted by everyone, most of all Lebron. He is still a huge star but it is obvious that some things have to be changed for Lakers, and Lebron might be the biggest of them.

I don't know, but if you look at their last season, they started hot, but when Lebron got injured, they fell down on the rankings and then didn't make it to the playoff. And the situation right now, is that even if Lebron is playing, they are still a bad team. So I doubt that they can make the adjustment, unless they do some trade before or after the All-Star Break to somewhat change the course. And we must have to admit that Lebron is really ageing, he can't carry a team no more like he was with the Cavs, wherein he has the team in his shoulder every game. Now, it's different, he takes care of his body, but sooner or later it will show the wear and tear, and nobody can beat Father time, just saying.
3025  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is likely to head towards a price of $13,000 on: November 20, 2022, 01:46:30 PM
The recession understands people like you who are facing Investment and financial difficulties. Do you feel that a bear market in risk assets mimicking the global financial crisis, big losses are yet to come?

It not only mimic, but with a market that is very volatile, perhaps the worst case scenario will be like $10k. As least for me I will brace for that price so that there will be no surprises on my end, and at least I will be prepared to buy at that prices.

And so if others see it as bad or very negative, there could be investors who will take advantage if that situation arises.

Of course, it's very tough, but if you where already alive during the financial crises in 2008-2009, or the effect of the Covid-19 in our market last March 2020 wherein the price nosedive to $3k, you should know what to do by this time and your mentally will be different.
3026  Local / Pilipinas / Re: USE CASES DPAT NG BLOCKCHAIN TECH AND CRYPTO on: November 20, 2022, 01:02:01 PM

Less stress actually and public nmn ang ledger so anytime may anomalya, madaling makuha. More laws lng cguro ang need nito pra mkapag move forward ang ganitong sistema..

I think it's more on the assembly to finished product at siguro rin sa pag record ng legit na gamot sa kumpanya at kung saan nila to i distribute.

Heto rin isang example:Canada using blockchain for transparent administration of Government contracts.

So talagang napakarami, konting push lang talaga whether galing sa goberyo or private sector.

Good bet @ danherbias07, not sure what happened to the Pacers, they squeeze a win but the handicap was not covered.

Jazz had a win against the Blazers, so it's just 1 out of 2 for me, not that bad.

Tomorrow we have 8 games in total, so a lot of matches that we can either pre game or live betting. Haven't check it though, but definitely I will try to slip 1 or 2 bets again.
3028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: November 20, 2022, 11:03:20 AM
I think its better for OP to lock this thread, we have the latest Tank fight discussion, and it's again a different Garcia after the fight we can open the thread again to continue to discuss the Ryan Garcia - Tank Davis fight, The Hector Luis Garcia obviously is a cherry-picked fight but the guy is undefeated and can hold against tough opponents/

Gervonta Davis VS Hector Luis Garcia SAT, JAN 07, 2023

It does mean that Ryan Garcia vs. Davis is not finalized correct?

That is correct, I'm under the notion that once Davis win against Hector Luis Garcia, Ryan will be his next opponent. Although our big question is why Davis need a tune up fight that is close to his fight with KingRy in May. Maybe the May date might be push a little bit further to give time for Tank Davis to recover and train for Ryan Garcia. And I understand the confusion because he will be fighting boxers with the same last name. But Davis can boast that he beat both of them later.

Ryan Garcia will also have another match before this highly anticipate fight between Davis right? I’m not sure though but it can be a good preparation for their big fight. Anyway, Davis seems to be the favorite here looking at the numbers but it can’t tell the result, we know that both of then are undefeated and great, so this up coming fight is really exciting, Ryan Garcia should start preparing now and look for good strategies to beat Davis. I’ll go for Ryan on this match, against the odds.

No, there is no scheduled or tune up fight from Ryan Garcia, he wanted to go straight to Tank.

An with that, there is no preparation that he will like before Tank Davis. Maybe you can ask him today and says that he is ready to fight him tomorrow. That's how Ryan being obsessed with a Davis fight, again it's because we wanted to have the respect when he fight and beat Tank. And of course, he is also motivated on the money that both of them are going to earn in this clash.
3029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: November 20, 2022, 09:51:20 AM

As per Spence this is his reason for not wanting to give Thurman a fight:

Quote
Spence has been steadfast that he would never give Thurman a shot at his three titles because Thurman showed no interest in fighting him years ago.

It is normal as an act of retaliation since during the peak of Thurman's career Spence was ignored by Thurman, so now that the world turned upside down, it is an obvious revenge for Spence to ignore Thurman this time but i looks like it won't work out because the council had ordered a mandatory def fight against Thurman.  I don't know if there is a penalty if Spence don't heed the order of the boxing council.

https://www.espn.ph/boxing/story/_/id/34989884/errol-spence-ordered-defend-wbc-title-keith-thurman

It could be, but I'm seeing that Spence could be in trouble here. Although Thurman is somewhat inactive, but I reckon his power is still there. And as Rolly Romero says, he can still crack and Spence might be after that he will be crack this time.

So will see, I have high regards still that Thurman will give Spence the toughest test of his career if Keith will just focus and be motivated as before.

Same here, Thurman is still on his prime, he is too young be out of the prime age range.  Though Spence makes it look like he is getting revenge for Thurman's previous action by not getting interested on the fight,  I feel that he is greatly threatened and think that fighting  Thurman is a very high risk for his career so he would rather ignore Thurman if possible and fight other boxer that poses lesser risk.

Yes, I understand where Thurman is coming from during that time, he is dominating the 147 lbs and beating a lot of good champions.

But it seems the tide has turn now, Spence is now the king of this division and Thurman will have to make a comeback to get back his belt. And perhaps this is a narrative for him to show us that he still has it. And Spence has nowhere to go now, his fight with Crawford has cancelled, so he needs to find a dancing partner in Thurman. And the risk is higher, but let's see how this fight will turn up. I'm still thinking that Thurman can still pull the trigger to make this a very close fight.
3030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Artur Beterbiev vs Anthony Yarde on: November 20, 2022, 09:13:08 AM
Yarde looking for his death wish, although Beterviev is recovering from his operation, for sure it's nothing that serious as per his team that's why they are going to push for this fight.

And it's obvious that the LW is very weak as the two Russians is the only champion that we have right now and they are cleaning this division very quick. And if Arthur wins here, seems that there are no worthy opponent except for this two to face for unification. But we should wait, again, with different promoters and network affiliation, it might be a hard road ahead, as there are many stumbling blocks.

unior welterweight contender Jack Catterall does not believe a new trainer will make Josh Taylor a better fighter.

Taylor was trained for much of his career by Shane McGuigan. He would part ways with McGuigan and begin working with Ben Davison.

Davison was in Taylor's corner earlier this year, when the Scottish boxer picked up a controversial twelve round split decision over Catterall.

Taylor has since broken away from Davison and retained the services of Joe McNally.

As the saying goes, you can't teach a dog new trick, so I do agree with Jack here. Not sure what changes will Josh and his new trainer will do in this fight. What kind of strategy to offset the style of Jack and his aggressive. For sure Josh still has this in his mind that he almost lost this fight and all his belts and that's why he did get a new trainer.

But the thing is Josh Taylor isn't a dog.  Grin  He is human which is capable of learning many tricks.   A new trainer may point out Josh Taylor's weaknesses that his previous trainer failed to notice.  I agree that we can still see the style his previous trainer taught him but for sure we can also see a different approach this time that he has a new trainer.

Well you can say that to Anthony Joshua as well, he did Robert Garcia as his new trainer but the result is the same, he lost to Usyk.

Guys, what u think about it?

I am sure in 101% that he plays fake money, but a lot of friends of mine - said the opposite.

After twitch banned stake and other casinos, he deleted all videos and dont even stream anymore, so its 100% proof they he had deal with stake and use free money to play, what do u think?

Possible, it's either:

1. own money
2. money paid by his sponsor

Not sure though, maybe he was streaming on other platforms like Clive?

And this streamers are being paid huge amount of money so it's unlikely that they will suddenly disappear. And as per his tweet:

https://twitter.com/ROSHTEINS/status/1592874103098474496

So that is probably a hint already that he will be back soon.
3033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 19, 2022, 11:03:50 PM
My picks for tonight.

Philadelphia 76ers vs Milwaukee Bucks = Milwaukee Bucks Win 1,97 Odds

Golden State Warriors(-4,5) vs New York Knicks = Golden State Warriors Win 1,52 Odds

Good luck guys.

I will go with the Warriors at -5.5. They will be playing at home, they are comfortable so I think that they can cover that spread.

Nuggets vs Mavs - reports say that Jokic is still not going play, plus Murray, so with that, -8.5 for me.

Finally hitting my bets for today, first time that I got a perfect bet, so that is good enough for me.

Unfortunately mate, the Sixers won the game against the Milwaukee Bucks. And then those who bet on the Heat at -1.5, just a shade shy though. Very good game but the Wizards win at the end. Celtics continuing with their run.

Congratulations bro.

I expected a better game from Milwaukee but it didn't happen, I wasn't upset because I didn't lose much.
I hope we win again tonight.

Yes, we will definitely go back and try to look for a win,

Indiana Pacers vs Orlando Magic - I like the chance of the home team here, so I will go with the Pacers -5.5.

Portland vs Utah - gonna be exciting match, and so Utah +4.5, still very good odds for me.
3034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch To Ban Gambling Streaming By October 18th. on: November 19, 2022, 10:30:13 PM
^^ It's too early to say that if they are not affected revenue wise. Their decision was just implement last month and so there are no reports as far as their revenue goes.

And with that, give them at least a year to see how it is, if there is a mass exodus of twitch gambling streamers to other platform and bringing with them their followers. And if this is true then definitely it will be felt by Twitch and we will see their official report maybe around April-May where usually companies released to the public their revenues.
3035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market will come back bigger again on: November 19, 2022, 10:13:02 PM
Hello guys,
With this ordeal going on it seems much-lost faith and bailed as if the whole market is going to vanish. This kind of thing happens more often in the stock market with inside trading, embezzlement, etc. In reality, it’s a perfect time to get in with everything dropping so low. It will come back and come back bigger than ever after this dies down and there will be improvements to hopefully prevent this from happening again. So do not lose hope and know that the bad time will inevitably pass, and you may not be able to make up for this opportunity again. Just my opinion.

Well historically, the market has been in a bubble and burst cycle. So right now, its the bear market and on of the worst in recent years, although we have the Covid crisis in March 2020 and the price went down to $3k and everyone is afraid as the price of bitcoin might go to zero and altcoins dying.

But that was two years ago and we are still standing. And maybe in the next two years, we will simply forget all this things and we will eventually rise and go on another bull run.
3036  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stop the panic, I doubt we will see 14k or less Bitcoin on: November 19, 2022, 09:59:11 PM
it is cool OP mentioned that Bitcoin can only go low depending in the strength of the support it gets. Speculating digital asset has become even more difficult. What i have resolved to do is follow where ever the direction blows if it decides to fall further i will simply buy and still wait no need for much consolations or hopes. Bitcoin will eventually do away with this phase but till then the wave leads.

We are in a bear market, that's why it's really difficult for everyone. As you have said, it depend on us, but if there is so much FUD and then negative news, the price will surely falter as there are going to be panic sellers. And with that, we have to accept that fact, bear market brings the worst out of everyone, panic, nervous and fear. Nevertheless, this is just a test that everyone needs to understand and feel and so that the next time we experience this one, we are more tough and mentally strong not to be affected by it and on the contrary, take the opportunity to buy bitcoin at a lower and discounted price.

I think Lakers might not able to get into the playoff for this year. The team's chemistry is no there and even if Lebron is healthy, it will be very difficult as a lot of teams are really showing their true potential and there are a lot of teams that surprises us like the Jazz or the Sacrament Kings and also the Warriors having a bad start.

Not sure what Lebron will do, maybe finished his contract with the Lakers and then wait for his son to climb the ladder and declare himself eligible for the NBA draft in the next 2 years or so and then Lebron making history again as father and son duo.
3038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 19, 2022, 09:29:31 PM
^^ Boxers will always find "personal" reasons to beat the other party, that's why they are motivated. The Taylor vs Catterall became personal to Taylor because he almost lost the fight, when everyone thought that he was invincible at 140 lbs. Of course he has the belt and the unified champion, but everything went wrong on that fight. And there are boxing pundits who see Catterall winning the fight.

And that makes Josh really wanted to get a rematch and shut Jack Catterall mouth for good. And shows everyone that he is still on top of this division although he has given up his 3 belts because it's hard to defend all against mandatory by different bodies.

Yeah right, they are using this as motivation and a good reason to win and beat their opponent's, more motivation, more reason to establish their names in this sport. With the help of scouts and sparring partners, executing their strategy will keep them on top. I think boxers/fighters will find those many reasons to beat their opponents.

Part of their mindsets that once they step inside the ring, the reason why they wanted to win will generate their plan patterns to execute and win the fight.

And speaking of this fight, Jack says that he is not worried that Josh is getting a new trainer:

Quote
unior welterweight contender Jack Catterall does not believe a new trainer will make Josh Taylor a better fighter.

3039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terence Crawford vs David Avanesyan December 10 on: November 19, 2022, 09:15:59 PM
^^ That's part of it I guess, no one wants to accept the blame for a fight to not happening as big as this one. But at least we have heard the side of Crawford, maybe it's just half truth or wait, I'm still interested to hear though as who is that hedge fund manager willing to offer them guaranteed money of $50 million, maybe it's just a bluff on his end, hehehehe.

But yeah, December 10, we shall see if Avanesyan is really good as advertised by Crawford as an opponent. Or will it be just an easy fight for him and then his critics will go after him for taking an easy route.

There's no way that we could find out even if Crawford will confirm that what he was saying are all true and there is indeed that person who is interested to give them that huge guaranteed money of over a $50M just to make the fight happen. And of course, Al Haymon will decline that offer because he himself can make the fight happen and a $50M is not that big compared to what he could've earn if he will make the fight happen, I reckon it will be at least $100M considering that Spence is the PPV King and adding Crawford in the equation will be a sure blockbuster hit. Unfortunately, Al or Spence is not yet ready for it.

I wouldn't call Spence a PPV though, even Canelo is not drawing huge amount of PPV, in his last fight against GGG, he has like just over a million PPV. And for the Spence vs Ugas fight, reports says it draw 240,000 PPV

https://ringside24.com/en/55740-spence-ugas-240-thousand-sold-ppv

And so I doubt that they can make $100 M.

And one thing that makes Crawford revelation believable is that PBC is not contradicting any in the public. They just wanted to keep silent and then announced a Spence vs Thurman fight.

That $50 million is a guaranteed purse split for both Crawford and Spence, so maybe $30 M to $20 M in favor Spence. And as far as PBC is offering Crawford, again this is from Bud himself, 35% is the offer to him.
