If you connect this post:

after all pump and dump drk and xc fill be finished as bc and wc, quark will be back, also after asics will start x11 mining they will see x11 is useless, i have 28mh/s asic and working to set it up for x11, as i started i saw it is not really hard,

drk, xc pump will die asics will come so we will be back faster then we think

drk / xc is fake pumped by 20-30 bagholders, so stay away if u dont wanr to loose ur money

i support qrk and btq at this time because i only belive in cpu coins and full asis resistant

we will see x11 crash after asics will start, after i will finish my work on x11 asic will make it open source:)

with my post:

QEX has now added QRK/BC, QRK/NMC, QRK/DOGE, QRK/DRK as well as BitQuark and QuarkBar - check it out at https://QEX.la!

Vic

Very bad for QRK. Reason: I see only SRC/QRK. What is with other coins for this pseudo "quark exchange" and "quark market"? This exchange supports everything but Quark, it is just like every other exchange.

Other cases:

QRK/DOGE   What is this at so-called "quark exchange" ?
QRK/NMC     What's that?
QRK/BC        What is BC doing at this "quark exchange"?
QRK/DRK      This "quark exchange" supports DRK and not support QRK
QRK/LTC      Yet another quark destroyer at so-called "quark exchange"
QRK/BTC      ^^

At exchange named "quark exchange" it should be:

DOGE/QRK
NMC/QRK
BC/QRK
DRK/QRK
LTC/QRK
BTC/QRK

Further, it should be:

BTQ/QRK
QB/QRK
OFF/QRK
ANI/QRK
Doug/QRK

Rule is:

other_coins/QRK

Quark should be quoted currency-coin
at quark exchange. http://www.investopedia.com/terms/q/quotecurrency.asp

Is https://QEX.la  really Quark exchange? Or it shows all kinds of weakness of Quark coins including no real use value?

All of the pairings you're complaining aren't there are under the Quark tab - they are ALL traded against Quark, and Quark is the only major coin traded against the various fiat pairings. These are bi-directional markets... Regardless, I've emailed my contact re: adding those layouts/formatting.

you can conclude that https://QEX.la  is fake Quark exchange at this moment. It supports DOGE, BC, DRK, NMC, LTC, BTC mostly and some fiat not QRK. That is one of the reasons why QRK is falling. For right supporting QRK it should be

                                                                                               othercoins/QRK.

QRK has no support as main coin at the exchanges at all. The name of this exchange is not enough.

Other coins should trade by using QRK, not opposite (at real quark exchanges). Otherwise QRK will not have real use value, at least not important one.

At its first month DOGE got more than 1 DOGE market at the exchanges. QRK still does not have any own market.

I still believe that PoS is not compatible with the ideologies initially promoted by Quark. However, since a lot of Quark's supporters are very outspoken regarding its implementation, please allow me to suggest a compromise between the yay and nay sides of the discussion.

As far as I can tell, there are 2 primary concerns regarding the implementation of PoS into Quark. The first concern is regarding the security it offers as opposed to PoW. A lot of people are against PoS because it supposedly exposes a coin to a 51% attack more than a pure PoW coin would. Personally, I am not convinced with the arguments presented concerning this issue, but that is irrelevant. My suggestion will assume that a PoW/PoS hybrid coin is just as secure as a pure PoW coin, regardless of what various whitepapers and documents say. If you cannot see past that issue, then you may skip the rest of this post. My idea tackles only the second concern which is that PoS would mostly benefit large stakeholders and direct most of the newly generated coins to those same people.

Currently, all PoS implementations reward stakeholders who find a block with a percentage of their stake. What I suggest we do differently would be to reward a stakeholder with only (exactly) 1 Quark. 1 Quark is the current reward for a block found via PoW, so the amount should be no major concern. Additionally, the average time time for finding PoS blocks should be at least three times faster than the average time for finding PoW blocks (i.e., increase mining target time to 90 seconds). That way, mining could still be considered a viable option to get Quarks for people without large stakes. With this proposed PoS system, the inflation rate could be maintained without completely relying on miners to secure the blockchain.

Interesting.

In other words, every active(and connected to the network) wallet will be rewarded with the same amount of PoS (=1) (for the same time of connectivity to the network) no matter how many QRKs are in it. Is that your PoS idea?

3044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BBQCoin, the coin you want to eat. on: May 31, 2014, 08:36:16 AM

BBQ coin got a lot of great free press last year and it's ultra cheap right now.

Are the original devs still rolling with BBQ or what's going on?

I think it's a good risk/reward coin and great for a niche market player which I think will really come into play nu next year for various coins with good names and their respective domains.

One thing that can be done to increase the value is to significantly reduce the max coins and the current inflation rate.  Dark coin dropped their hard cap from 88 million to 22 million and it did wonders for them.

Good luck!

What is current max coins number?

3045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Extremecoin.org (EXC) BBQcoin.org (BQC) (Omega6) Updates on: May 31, 2014, 08:26:45 AM
If you can see from the updated Extremecoin website, I am working on Version 1.6 of EXC.

Remember though that this will bring Extremecoin, code wise to how it was supposed to be, as per the old Dev's release details.

This means blocks are going to be found fast again, not sure how that will effect the EXC price but with blocks flowing again, it should get added to CoinWarz again and maybe a few exchanges might pick it up.

Once the client release is out and running smooth, then I will start to market Extremecoin and see how community members respond.

If you plan to add similar thing as you did at BBQcoin you will destroy this coin.

Well guys, as an aside to the anonymity discussion here, I wanted to let everyone know that the new Quark - centric exchange, QEX is now online. I've been beta testing it over the last week, and the team has worked very hard to get everything finished up!

Check it out here:

https://qex.la/

http://www.qrk.cc/press/

Quark-centric should be:
-buy QRK with USD
-buy other coins using QRK

otherwise nothing new.

Price falls lower and lower.

3054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | cPoW | PC mining | Stability on: May 14, 2014, 01:06:50 PM

One of the most important things for coin is having its own market. If you don't understand what does it mean:

coinA / QRK
coinB / QRK
coinC / QRK
.
.
.
COIN394 / QRK

It means you buy other coins using QRK.

QRK is the only one the main coins which exchanges don't use as a quote coin (  something / QRK ). For example, DOGE became quote coin in its less than 1st month of the existance. They knew what is one of the most important things for coins. QRK still does not know.

http://www.investopedia.com/terms/q/quotecurrency.asp

QRK price is where it is. Very easy to understand why.

What do you think of this exchange? www.qex.la

Not sure yet. It seems like the exchange for Quark Clones? If so, this is not so good for Quark.

Idea is to buy every coins using QRK and only QRK Smiley on such exchange  (just like you can buy every coins using BTC).

That should add some new value to QRK.

big pump n dump today. missed it totally tho Sad(

my HBN journal is all about steady, sustainable profits. Plenty of people won and lost during that pump but remember this, quick buck artist come and go, but its the steady players who make money in any market condition.

If pump and dumps isnt a part of your trading style, then ignore them completely.

2% every ten days?  Grin Sustainable?  Grin

You must be joking Smiley

Pump and dump is your scamming style and you are ... ?   (Insert correct word instead of ...)

I think it will continue to be ignored because of the influx of new coins every day.

Is it really MUST BUY every new shitcoin?  Roll Eyes

CGB has never been ignored and has quite a group of active longterm investors. It was launched 10 months ago so well ahead of the newcoins flood.

I replied to the new coins influx every day, not to CGB Smiley
