3041  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 2021 resolution on: January 01, 2021, 06:08:34 AM
I haven't made any resolutions myself (with the exception of blocking the DT Trolls for all of 2021) however, I've been stockpiling *all* of the Bitcoins I've accumulated during the about nine months I've been in Signature Campaigns for use in creating Lightning Network Channels. So, like the fellow who recently gave up cigarettes and is putting away that money as crypto, I guess HODLing for a year or two is my XMAS-Crypto resolution.
3042  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] Nakitcoins.com Signature Campaign | Sr. Members+ | Starts Jan. 4th! on: January 01, 2021, 06:01:59 AM
Good luck to everyone applying to join the SigCamp. It's always great to have certainty about how long a campaign will run for, so kudos to @Hhampuz for providing this information (an initial eight week run).

Are their bonuses for posting extra?
3043  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $188 million worth of BTC to unknown address from unknown on: January 01, 2021, 05:57:25 AM
There are numerous BTC 17.5 lots of coins that have been swept up in the transaction. Perhaps they were intended to be hot or semi hot/on standby wallets for one of the exchanges that have been hacked in the last few weeks and it's a hacker's shifting of funds that we can see?
3044  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: End of 2020 Welcome Year 2021 on: January 01, 2021, 05:13:31 AM
Both altilly.com and livecoin.net exchanges have been hacked during the last one or two weeks.  Livecoin's website was hacked, recovered and hacked again while altilly seems to have been hacked, funds stolen, then the website puts a halt to trades.

I haven't heard of any other disasters befalling Forum members, but I'm sure they'll come to light soon enough.
3045  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] CoinPlaza.it: non-custodial instant crypto exchange - Bitcoin ⚡ Enabled on: December 31, 2020, 05:44:17 PM
is the signing up mandatory and why can't i make the exchange without creating an account?
i don't have any problem giving my email to sign up but i am afraid the system may not stop there and ask for KYC documents, i just want to swap a small amount of bitcoin with OMNI USDT if that's possible.

I provided my detailed to that company easily eight or nine months ago - just before Italy went into its first hard lockdown and never heard anything after that. I haven't used them since they ramped up the TX fees, so I can't say for certain whether they verified my details, or are just sitting on those details.
3046  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will be hitting to $35000 soon - Buy it today!! on: December 31, 2020, 07:25:10 AM
$35,000 by the end of January is certainly feasible by about the end of January 2021.  That said, people entering the rally this late in the play might be the first to dump when the tide turns and the price comes crashing down to about half of those levels by early April 2021.
3047  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's highest price before the Year End's on: December 31, 2020, 07:21:02 AM
With hours to go before we ring in the new year I'm going to say there'll be a rally to fall over the $30,000 mark and will then take a breather for a few days before surging another $5,000 to end January at $35,000 levels.
3048  Economy / Speculation / Re: I doubt Bitcoin will dip below 20k again on: December 31, 2020, 07:17:32 AM
As the Covid-19 pandemic has demonstrated any kind of global shock will send jitters in local economies or indeed global stock markets in this case Bitcoin itself where investors who had parked funds in crypto pulled out causing the price to collapse to sub $5,000. (Which is more likely the "real" value of Bitcoin)

This rally is a painfully obvious pump, so watch for the dump which is probably just around the corner.
3049  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to become a trusted member? on: December 31, 2020, 06:59:24 AM
Sucking up to the DT Trolls or standing behind them while they eternally Troll those around them (especially the ones they perceive as threats to their fifedims) might get a few cheep laughter at others expense, but it's a slippery slope you don't want to go down if you want to hold your head up high later on.

Forewarned is forearmed...
3050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any insurance service for gamblers to retain heavy losses....??? on: December 31, 2020, 01:55:25 AM
It all matters on self control and you can actually stop if you do really tend to so without having those buttons or whatsoever. If you do really play gambling with have corresponding financial limit then you would really be aware towards your spending.

Like any gambling, you should give yourself a budget say $100 at a Casino and when the money's gone, that's when you walk away.  Similarly, if you've been playing for just ten minutes and win $500, you should also be prepared to walk away, even if it's just to the bar for an hour.

Trying to guess the price to within 2500 a year out would be kinda ridiculous though.

Unlike the current year's $1k steps up to about $20k then jump upwards of $50k¿¿ Part of the excitement about such a wild spread is where the arrow will land in twelve months' time (especially if the book were to close six weeks out from the end of the year)
3052  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: December 30, 2020, 04:28:35 PM
If the team at freebitco.in at looking for suggestions for price points for the end of 2021 for Bitcoin, can I suggest up to $50,000 the price point is stepped out in $2,500 groups.

I.e.

$0 to $2,500
$2,501 to $5,000
$5,001 to $7,500

Given we're seeing the price continue to climb into uncharted territory, perhaps beyond $50,000 the price steps out to $5,000 to $100,000 then ?? Who knows, $25,000 steps to $250,000??

There's be fewer wagers at each price point resulting in higher payout figures which in turn would make the payouts more attractive.

Thanks for reading.

Ah, I see.  Was that before or after you bought the tomatocage account?

Is there proof that QS bought the tomatocage account?
If that is true then it proves my assertions of a connection between the two accounts after all and is a middle finger to the years of Trolling by the DT Trolls who were certain that I was wrong because they didn't want to believe I could be right

Are there options for other exchanges? Exchanges are waiting in line.

I haven't used these in a while, but here goes:

Timelord does have a point,

Thanks for your kind words @JayJuanGee my observation they were absent had no malice and shouldn't be taken as anything other than as an observation especially given the number of users who's voices have fallen silent this year (possibly due to the pandemic).

Quote
Furthermore, it is NOT like theymos is very active in the past year in terms of making changes to what merit sources there are, currently... so sure, maybe he had tweaked it here and there in the past year, but when I look at the current number of merit sources (97).. .seems to me that he has mostly removed merit sources, rather than adding any, in the past year.  Weren't there something like 130 merit sources at the end of theymos's last appointment spree (a bit over a year ago?).

I may have said it previously in this thread (or a similar thread) I for one would be more comfortable if users said they were making "expressions of interest" given IIRC there hasn't actually been a thread asking for applicants to make their cases.
3056  Other / Meta / Re: Last of the V8s Merit Source Application on: December 29, 2020, 04:29:55 PM
This delay is just ... rude!

Vouch for that

You're Legendary and yet you're vouching for an applicant who hasn't been online in over six weeks?

Might want to look to an applicant who is at least willing to be online to spread those merits around.

Suchmoon has a personal gripe for being doxxed.
Last night, I reported about 20 posts, including 4 by SM herself that contain her a name. There are a bunch in the GAW thread that remain unhandled, it might be because it is such a massive thread.

Having discovered the shoe is now on my other foot, these DT Trollls will say and do anything to continue to be confrontational regardless of who they take out as collateral damage along the way. So, I am seeing your predicament QS in a new light having come here Cap-in-hand to reconsile with these DT Trolls only to have them continue to Troll you.

Take my advice QS: place the DT Trolls on ignore including via PM.  You don't need their agrovation.

Yobit? Are you kidding?

...

I'm counting days until they pull a similar exit scam like Livecoin.

Yobit for all intents and purposes are banned here in this forum. I agree premined tokens are nothing but trouble and heartachake for anyone foolish enough to get on board with either a Token or Yobit.
3060  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to invest best $2,000-$5,000? on: December 28, 2020, 06:13:09 PM
If you're looking to just park your fiat in crypto then it actually doesn't make sense to buy Bitcoin at the moment (unless you believe it will go even higher when you're looking to cash out) rather use your funds to get a feel for trading and work out which alt coins at this point are down and might give you a better return.

I'd also recommend buying $25 - $50 on a regular basis and build up a modest bag.
