Just give me a few more days. I've something get Coin2 going : the PR and communication area.
So far, I think Kings and others doing a pretty marvel tasks, even though a little like a multitasking octopus.

1st, I'll layout the concept to Glen and Nirgo as details as possible. ( not a secret mission) then
Will set a format simplify thing a little. Hopefully, will be able to have active ppl like Jan, Vernon and others involve to form a volunteering team get Coin2 to full fledge PR exposure for real.

Funding format will be on the table in between.
All the technical, programming manpower issues will be discuss.

Cheer.

Seems pretty interesting!
What kind of jobs for volunteers?

3046  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Can not open electrum wallet in linux....scared to know why on: July 14, 2014, 05:49:00 PM
Why would this happen, why would the configuration file become corrupt?I did nothing wrong!
Sad

Shit happens :-)

Backup and reinstall.
You can send a bug report to Electrum devs :-)
3047  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 14, 2014, 05:46:51 PM
Price is moving down  Angry

What's happening?

Yesterday price was 630$, now is 619 !

It's fractuating :-)

$10 drop is like none. So no worries and remember that we are still waiting for this year rally :-) as till now it was pretty quiet.

Kind regards.
3048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALTCOIN of the FUTURE!! on: July 14, 2014, 05:43:44 PM
99% of current alts will probably lose 99% of their value over the next couple years.

You get better odds at a roulette wheel.

Why you think so?
...

My latest rant on this is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=624223.msg7780350#msg7780350

It is very interesting I must say but those are only speculations and for being honest I think that there is a place for few altcoins next to the Bitcoin.
Well and this is what you are saying too. 99% of current alts means that few of them will survive :-)
And this is what I am thinking about it too.

Kind regards.

Cooler here in BFL Land today, giving us a brief respite from the July heat.

I guess for you cooler means 30oC Cheesy ?

Well, yeah, compared to what it has been here!

Wink

Actually it is about 68F (20C) here now and raining.

It must be enjoyable after all of those scorching days, isn't ? Smiley

Even rain might be something what makes us happy sometimes Smiley

Oh, yeah, you know it!

Makes ya wanna Riverdance naked in the streets!

Wink

well ... it reminds me about Summer Breeze by Seals & Crofts

I might agree that this is possible ...
but 99% is almost all of them ... which I am not so sure Smiley

Pretty flatty is getting here ... 620 620 ...

Well it is more likely that my predictions about this week rally were wrong.
3053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BANKSYCOIN OFFICIAL LAUNCH # NEW CRYPTO COIN on: July 14, 2014, 05:16:25 PM
That piece has always been attributed to Banksy

Well I always thought so Smiley

When I was living in the UK I was searching for Banksy pieces and as I remember good this one indeed whas always signed by Banksy.
3054  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Can not open electrum wallet in linux....scared to know why on: July 14, 2014, 05:10:47 PM
I have alot of money there so I am scared to reinstall. There must be some way to force it to start or diagnose it?

Tutorial:

Quote
Where is my wallet file located?
The default wallet file is called default_wallet which is created when you first run the application and located under the /wallets folder.

On Linux
Home Folder
Go > Location and type ~/.electrum

so ...  ~/.electrum/wallets/default_wallet    this is your wallet file ...

Backup whole "wallets" dir   and reinstall electrum Smiley

Better communication would have helped to keep his reputation closer to "respectable" and then he would have better options if/when his health improves.

Well you are right.

I dunno why he found so hard to communicate with us ... but well seems like after he will pay what he owe he will be just forgotten ... But hopefully not marked as a scammer.
3057  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin.org is looking for sponsorship! on: July 14, 2014, 04:59:21 PM
Bitcoin Foundation running out of money ?
:~(

yes well this is interesting...

I though that Bitcoin.org is sponsored by Foundation ...

I think people from Bitcoin Foundation are not poor ... but perhaps wealthy, isn't?

Smiley I though that for them few BTCs is not enough to keep Bitcoin.org nicely developed ... Smiley

Anyway, good luck with finding someone who will help you and Bitcoin.org - I am out of money and hardly trying to manage founds for my own web sites (like btc-embassy.com) - so I dunno how to help....

Regards.

Hello, today I am trying to open my electrum wallet and it will not open nothing happens. I am using a linux system so I do not think it is a virus or anything but I am worried that something bad has happened. Can anyone advise me?

Try to reinstall? Just mind where you keep your wallet file ... backup it... remove electrum .. download newest package .. run it again..

Simple advice but might work Smiley
3059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALTCOIN of the FUTURE!! on: July 14, 2014, 04:52:09 PM
Hi guys, can anyone give an idea about what ALTCOIN will dominate and succeed in the future?
In terms of its price in usd and market status. This thread is just for your opinions to be heard

It is so hard to say ...

there are many good coins around but perhaps Litecoin have a chance to stay with us for some longer ...

It is so hard to say ... coins are attacked, coins are dumped, well many problems with other altcoins - Litecoin seems very secure.
