3042  Economy / Speculation / Re: Balls of steel on: October 01, 2014, 05:09:18 PM
I am very happy because Bitcoin didn't go under $400 as falllling "predicted"  Tongue

very soon

Someone necroed my thread. Great song and band btw.

I think the original post remains true. Balls of steel still required holders.

I am still accumulating as many coins as I can. Feel free to join me! Smiley

I'll whisper the only words that frighten me, "central bank market operations"
3044  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your buy price? on: October 01, 2014, 04:47:24 PM
Buying daily at present. Bitcoin is stagnating price wise in a sea of good news. Circle is an important on ramp for the masses.

I think the price is being deliberately held in check on the exchanges.

Who knows the future but suppression cannot continue indefinitely!

No money lost as I haven't sold, sorry fallling.
...

Detailed description of my revolutionary new market strategy, 100% scientifically guaranteed never to lose money:

1.  Buy.
2.  Never sell.
3.  ? ? ?
4.  Profit!

Equivalent to throwing coins into a well. Smiley

Physical coins might be worth more soon at this rate!

At least you can sell physical metal coins for scrap if they become worthless, and you can wipe your arse on bank notes if they become worthless. You can't use bitcoins for anything if they become worthless.

Good job neither you or the previous three posters have any then!

Correct, I have sold all my BTC & continue to sell everything I mine!!! Just like all the whales & smart money are doing... Go get sucked into the bull trap yourself!

Don't be silly fallllling you don't even mine btc. That requires resources other than an internet connection and questionable English language skills.
3046  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 01, 2014, 04:29:45 PM
this is so weired, every time the price wants to rise and then a 1k dump happens. every day 2-3 times.

we are already at > 100.000 coins that this guy dumped on all exchanges. normal traders / hodlers are not dumping at this price.

When this stops, price can only go up, but it can go more down before.

I think we are past the point of saying this is selling for best price. So either seller doesn't care (hacker), or its blatant manipulation.

What it clearly isn't is miners. Electricity bills are paid at most monthly. It is in their interest to let prices rise and sell slowly into them.
3047  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 01, 2014, 12:01:51 PM
Not sure what the dumper wants to achieve? Market is oversold...  Roll Eyes
Bankruptcy by the looks of it, totally unsustainable and the markets are either laughing at it and soaking up the discounts or got bored and gone elsewhere. Another couple of months of this and they'll have the markets to themselves and just be a source of coins, asks aren't coming in so I guess folks are going otc with their coins already.

This. I stopped using exchange plateforms as I did not want to be traceable with my bank accounts et al.. Every people i help getting bitcoin is with OTC channels and bitcoin ATMs. Online exchange plateforms may not hold their promise as they have totally abusive KYC processes. Anyway, they barely represent 1/4 of the total bitcoin in circulation and they may even not survive if they keep on giving up to the states and politics.

How are we going to price it then?
3048  Economy / Speculation / Re: Explanation of why Bitcoin price is falling. on: October 01, 2014, 11:54:48 AM
We are going down because someone is trying hard to run miners out of business. This way they can obtain a bigger piece of the total hashrate. The longer they keep the price down the more miners that will turn off their machines and the more coins this entity will get. It's like wal mart coming in with their cheap prices trying to run all the neighborhood stores out of business to obtain the market share. How long they will be able to do this is not known.

Yes this is something I have briefly worried about, especially if it is a central bank.

Quick glance at wisdom before I start a case and green candles! Boom.
3052  Economy / Speculation / Re: [prediction] Next spike $560,000 14 months from now on: September 30, 2014, 05:00:22 PM
An epic prediction indeed!

It's soo unbelievable, that it could even be true... Cheesy

Actually the explanation makes some sense to me.

What doesn't make sense to me is that OP considers that he will exchange Bitcoin for fiat money in this scenario like he has done in the past. Why? Because as more capital pours into Bitcoin, more goods and services will be available for purchase with Bitcoin. So fiat money quickly becomes obsolete (at least for a bitcoiner) in this scenario.

ya.ya.yo!

Hedging because however high it goes, you can't ever discount the probability of it failing. It's formulaic selling though to keep it unemotional x% per y% rise. The downside is capital gains tax :/ How I'd dearly love to be able to get some COIN in my pension!

At the theoretical $560k I would have sold about half my BTC. What I have left in BTC would still be worth about 7 times more than the fiat I had collected Shocked

That fiat would probably end up divested in metals & equities.

The point is "they" won't let fiat die & they will make sure to crash BTC into nothing before it even becomes competition... Don't you realize how illiquid this market is??? You're acting like you found gold when you're really buying scraps off of forex trading whales who entered this market just to crash it & make money. Think about what a ultimate troll you are walking around acting like you found the next best thing, convincing other people to throw their hard earned money at it, when you don't know who is even involved in this market or why the price was near 1,200 let alone know who even created all this madness. Everyone here will lose all of their money because of your misguided "leadership"

COME WITH FACTS OR STOP RANTING ABOUT HOW WONDERFUL BTC IS IN THEORY!

The only person ranting is you. The higher the price moves.
3053  Economy / Speculation / Re: RE : Wall Observer on: September 30, 2014, 04:58:54 PM

Can you imagine how dire it is if the previous years' bubbles were mostly just caused & accentuated by Willy & Markus bots.

It would mean the 2012 price of $13, the early 2013 price of ~$58 - That's what the real, uninflated, current fair market price of BTC would be at today.

With the way PayPal news' rise was crushed like an insect, because of zero demand, it's hard to not give some weight to that theory^ - Prices have behaved as if drawn down to a plausibly true fair market value in the $70-130 range, just like most of last year.

 Bubble patterns happen.

Then they break. A different pattern emerges.

Your dreams, your hopes, your delusions, have killed your profitability, for 9 months now.

Just like they crippled me, until I woke up, in May.

Are you serious?
3054  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 30, 2014, 04:57:59 PM
That attempt to cap action on stamp with a giant ask wall is funny. 2800 coins. Someone doesnt want the price rising lol.
3055  Economy / Speculation / Re: [prediction] Next spike $560,000 14 months from now on: September 30, 2014, 04:23:28 PM
Oh please, everyone who cares or would invest already know about bitcoin & it has been on TV many times... Not only from the reports but from companies like overstock.com (who show the symbol in every commercial)

So someone please tell me where all this new money will come from??? The broke retail investors? LMFAO You think a huge pop will happen ffrom that??? EVEN IF IT SOMEHOW DID POP... You would ALL sell your coins and it will crash the market again. This is a illiquid market scam, look up pump and dumps

Broke retail investors? The stock indices are hitting all time highs off cheap central bank printed cash. Who knows where the next influx of cash comes from. But it got a whole lot easier yesterday.

market should have a day where no one dumps SHIT ALL all day, just to see how high bidders bid the price up.

Freedom Friday?

Buy bitcoin day. Everyone in the world buys a little bit of bitcoin - to keep for at least 2 years Smiley
3058  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 30, 2014, 04:03:37 PM
