As a last comment for the night, before I leave you for the land of dreams (me and Loaded gonna meet there), I'm posting this for the newbies. Have a nice one people; goodnight from Greece.

I personally follow and post here the UPDATED 5 rules of success for you:
1. Don't get emotional from other's people thoughts.
2. Not everyone here is a "nice person" you can trust.
3. IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO, DON'T TRADE.
4. HODL!!!
5. Until you desperately need the money follow rule #4.

Good Luck!

Is Loaded up yet? I want to know what happened in that toilet in China Grin

Dead/dying now. Going to sleep for 15 hours. Expect some upside IF I had any successful.

Yes, I did specifically have to request a normal toilet in a five star hotel suite. They put it in the bathroom away from where I'm sleeping. I ruined a thousand dollar suit the last time I had to use one of those.

By "this", I meant spamming the thread with rockets and trains. Looks like yes. Carry on.

FWIW: I don't think China is "completely" out of the game. I think they're in the process to control the arbitrage based fiat leak. After that, they will be back fiercefully. Bitcoin is not "a bright idea", it's the monetary future. Noone in perfect sanity wants to be out of the train. They control the major bitcoin asic production atm and most possible they will continue to do so.

So expect them. And expect them sooner than later. Wink

good morning guys, so what did I miss ? what do you think are we going to the moon soon ? or that bubble chart will really apply and we are at the normal stage when a burst will follow?

I am all out of FIAT, even that I have a feeling that the price will crush, I was buying all the way, looking to that chart scares me but I still believe the price will skyrocket Smiley

Good morning! We are watching the dampening oscillation occur after the drop, and I'm wondering if after that we will get a bounce, like we did on Dec 7/8th (waiting for crazy physicist to weigh in).

Old Geek and nanobrain are discussing something about arb, China and accounts, and adam is posting awesome stuff as usual. Pretty quiet here.

edit: I think we'll have a bounce and resume slow fall (or fast, whatever) and will look to divulge myself at the bounce and buy in around 400 on gox. (If my crystal ball doesn't get stuck in my ass due to the origin of my predictions) Smiley

It all depends on buying urge (which I think it will be great at the moment). Dead cats can (spring)bounce sometimes. I've made a bet with a fellow friend yesterday; I voted for consolidation, he voted for near $1000 before Xmas. I think I will lose this one...  Undecided

If you want to operate in Gox with 1 day transfers, then that's what you need.

I appreciate Gox is in Japan...its just we weren't talking about Gox (were we OldGeek?)

I gave up trying to get money out of Gox long ago...I think you need to be very connected or very rich to do that....of which I am neither may I add Wink

Yeah we were kinda-sorta talking about MtSux.  However, I'm trying to figure out, in my tiny brain, how exactly people think that arbi is being carried out.  Any exchange 'could' work if everything was right.  I just don't see it happening.

An oscillation is normal after a largish price move.  The pendulum always swings too far and traders recognize it.  They place orders to take advantage of the folks who overshot the target.  An equilibrium is reached and the general trend of the market usually resumes.

The bot traffic seems to be reinforcing the damping effect and the operators seem to be positioning their orders to take advantage of the unwary.

But what do I know?
I cannot say how much I agree

Nice explanation macsga!  Hey, I just got in line with the physics guy.  Cool.  I like the string theory stuff.

Back to business:

If my idea is correct, I witnessed one of the operators make ~64k USD in about half an hour.  His bots dampened the oscillations downward then made three buys, igniting green candles for the first time in a while.  When the sheep got on board with the upswing, he sold in four batches at very near the top.

Who knows.  I love a good conspiracy theory.

Too many "conspiracy theories" tend to be presented like this so the people won't take them seriously. Physics isn't lying though; certain equations can predict certain behaviours and if you reverse engineer the values, you will see this is not something that's "totally" unpredictable. That said; there's definitely the possibility someone has already done his/her homework and made a LOT of coins out of it... Wink

If you have not sold yet conciser it now!

Ugh and another troll is born. Maintaining an ignore list is such a chore...

How is that trolling?

I am just pointing out what is inevitable.

Inevitable are ONLY 2 things in life; Death & Taxes. All the rest are a matter of luck as my friend Risto says Wink
