3041  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin surpasses gold on: August 19, 2021, 06:16:21 PM
Ever I don't want to compare Bitcoin with Gold. The current Gold market cap is $11.323 T and Bitcoin's current market cap is $859.9 B. So here is a big difference. It's because Gold is a natural asset and Bitcoin is a decentralized cryptocurrency. I know anything could happen in these 20 years, but a $1 million Bitcoin price would be hard. Who knows if we discover something new better than Bitcoin? Technically Bitcoin will exist forever, but if the community start to move on to any other things then Bitcoin would fall. As a Bitcoin lover, I love to see Bitcoin's existence forever. But no one can assure about the price and market cap.
3042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 95% of cryptocurrencies are fraudulent on: August 19, 2021, 05:36:39 PM
Whoever said it, that's the truth. There are a few major cryptocurrencies that have real uses or are accepted by merchants. But others have no uses except trading on the exchange. Actually, trading wouldn't consider as the use of cryptocurrency. It's just a money-making/losing game. Someone losing and someone making money. Most altcoin projects do not have a real concept. You can't find them once they raised funds. They will just list on few exchanges and hide.
3043  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have copyright? on: August 19, 2021, 09:49:51 AM
Let's think theoretically, Bitcoin is a decentralized open-source cryptocurrency. Decentralized means no one has control over Bitcoin. If you are holding Bitcoin means you are the owner of that. So due to decentralized behavior, I believe you can use the Bitcoin logo for Bitcoin-related things. Like you can use the Bitcoin logo for advertisements of Bitcoin services. But you can't or shouldn't use the Bitcoin logo to advertise others. Like you can't use the Bitcoin logo to deposit Bitcoin cash. You can't write Bitcoin cash below the Bitcoin logo. Although there is no copyright, still Bitcoin community would claim if you use the Bitcoin logo in inappropriate places.

In your case, you are free to do so. It shouldn't claim copyright at all. But you should design a logo yourself. Doesn't matter it's the same all over the internet If you use someone else made logo from Google, then most probably the creator or designer of that logo would claim copyright.
3044  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ban, mission impossible on: August 19, 2021, 09:35:37 AM
Banning Bitcoin doesn't mean a government would prevent using it. Banning means they aren't allowing it to deal officially. Today or tomorrow most counties will welcome when they will realize Bitcoin technology. Technically it's impossible preventing Bitcoin use. Governments are just worried that they are unable to control it and they never want to give us financial freedom.

But you need fiat to buy Bitcoin, this is part where government could interfere people from buy/sell Bitcoin.
That's the reason why peoples choose black market to trade Bitcoin where it's not allowed.
3045  Economy / Reputation / Re: Brand New user scam attempt(?) on: August 18, 2021, 12:09:13 PM
Where you will find the smell of free money means there is something suspicious always. It doesn't need to verify anyway. So definitely it was a scam attempt.

@OP, please put this quote into the code. So no one can click the links. Since the scammer has been banned from the forum, the post shouldn't exist like this. Who knows if a few newbies like to try because of greedy behavior.
3046  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam]: Fake Fake Ethereum and Coinbase Giveaways on: August 17, 2021, 06:11:35 PM
Thanks for sharing it with us. The domain name itself telling "this site is a scam, don't enter in this site". Surprising? Not at all. Because it's looking suspicious, I have been avoiding this kind of domain always. Besides that, we should think why should someone will send me funds for doing nothing? I always keep in mind, nothing is free in the world. So just ignore is the better policy to save our funds.
3047  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Slushcoin.com is a scam [picture story] on: August 17, 2021, 06:03:55 PM
When it has happened? The domain name you added to the post has been placed for sale. When I click the link this was popped to me.
Quote
The owner of slushcoin.com is offering it for sale for an asking price of 795 USD!
Isn't surprising the owner asking only for $795 to hand over the domain? Any site that asks you to make a fresh deposit and upgrade plan for withdrawing your fund is definitely a scam. This isn't new in the internet world. Just don't be greedy.
3048  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] Elon Musk fake bitcoin giveaway.... on: August 16, 2021, 07:49:57 PM
Noticed another scam script, here is the website.
Code:
https://x2bonus.space/
As usual, scammers using the same script with a different domain name. I am just wondering how stupid they are? It's become the most well-known scam script nowadays. But still, scammers using this script and tricks.

Just stay away from scammers.
3049  Economy / Economics / Is MFS preventing the growth of Bitcoin? on: August 16, 2021, 03:19:38 AM
I am not sure if you are familiar with "Mobile Financial Services" (MFS). But seems in many countries MFS has become most popular. I know it's centralized and shouldn't compare with Bitcoin anyway. As far as I know, a few MFS have been using Blockchain technology to manage their services. And most probably once a day we will discover a worldwide MFS service although it's limited now nationwide. I am just wondering is MFS keeping any roles to prevent Bitcoin growth. I know overall Bitcoin growth is healthy now. But do you believe it would more healthy if there weren't MFS? Although it's centralized but very easy to use everywhere. All the merchants accept it, so you don't need to carry any physical money at all. What do you think?
3050  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The use of Bitcoin as a local currency! on: August 16, 2021, 02:59:46 AM
Many countries in the world allow Bitcoin. And from that countries, you can purchase with Bitcoin where it's acceptable. But don't expect ever we can use Bitcoin like physical money. It's because of a lack of knowledge about Bitcoin. Just ask yourself how much percent of people in your country know about Bitcoin. Of course, there is advantage and disadvantages using Bitcoin during purchase goods. It would be a long story, in simple words, you can use virtual currency in a physical store and you don't need to carry any physical money. The main disadvantage is double-spending, otherwise, you have to wait in the store until getting confirmation and transaction fees are another disadvantage. So only Bitcoin lovers would use Bitcoin to purchase or sell goods lately.
3051  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Cardano? on: August 15, 2021, 01:28:50 PM
I know Cardano is a potential coin with good development. Currently, ADA is in #4 rank in coinmarketcap, this is a great achievement so far. I am not judging it for the current price, its overall development is pretty fine. However, only development can't make a project popular. I have seen a few projects those have been concentrating only on project development. But they aren't approaching the community with their features. That's the reason a few coins/tokens did not become much popular even there are good developments. But seems ADA is quite active than others. Expecting the best outcome from them.
3052  Economy / Speculation / Re: No BTC Holding is risky on: August 15, 2021, 12:55:43 PM
I mean if you have planned for selling at higher and then buying back at lower then you might be doing right but exiting bitcoin investments without proper vision on bitcoin's future is something not expected from a forum member like you.
Everyone like selling high and buy back at the lower price. I don't know what do you mean by proper vision. If you are a trader then your vision would make profits by taking advantage of Bitcoin volatility. But a few traders like me always couldn't sell at in right time. The problem is anyone does not have the answer to what is the right time. That's the reason sometimes our vision becomes useless. If we expect we can sell at the top, it wouldn't happen with everyone since we can't forecast the price. For the long holders, they would have a proper vision like if the price does not reach in xx position they will not sell. For traders, it's not easy to fix a vision at all.
3053  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I wish i knew about Bitcoin before now on: August 15, 2021, 03:13:57 AM
You are regretting today, someone else will regret it after 10 years. And this trend will exist forever. Because even a few months back Bitcoin prices were below $10K, but sadly I didn't accumulate Bitcoin during that time. But now I am wondering if I were accumulated a Bitcoin then I would be a millionaire now in my country. To be honest there is no specific perfect time to enter Bitcoin. You enter now mean it was the perfect time for you. Doesn't necessary to regret that. But before enter your all assets in Bitcoin please research more and more. So you would learn how to avoid loss from Bitcoin.
3054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin being decentralised an illusion? on: August 15, 2021, 03:03:21 AM
I think OP needs a little more research about Bitcoin and Bitcoin technology. Just keep in mind, Bitcoin will exist as a decentralized cryptocurrency ever technically. Decentralization and manipulation aren't the same things anyway. Pumping and dumping price is a part of the manipulation, doesn't related to decentralization. China bans Bitcoin mining, does it affect Bitcoin technology? No, it won't happen. Just price was dropped due to FUD. The centralized government wouldn't ban Bitcoin from using it. But they would mark it as illegal assets which would affect only the price for some time. Bitcoin technology and price history are fully different things.
3055  Economy / Trading Discussion / Always pump after sold holdings. on: August 14, 2021, 02:57:13 PM
As the title says, does it happen with you as well? Or just it has been happening with me? Not most of the time, but every time it has been happening with me. Although I sold my holding in profits somehow after sold it start to pump more and more. It's not happening with altcoin only. It's happening also in the Bitcoin trade. I do not regret but it's somehow surprising to me. Either I don't have enough patience or I don't have enough experience.

Does it happen with you? Or just it's happening with me?
3056  Economy / Speculation / Re: No BTC Holding is risky on: August 14, 2021, 02:50:19 PM
I don't know OP who told this is on tweeter, but he said right. Last three months I have been holding Bitcoin. When I Bitcoin was $41K I hadn't sold it. But when starts to drop and become $38K, then I thought it would dump more and I should sell it. I did the same as thought, just sold all my holding and convert it into USDT. Now Bitcoin is trading above $48 which is $10K+ where I had sold. Isn't it become true that not holding Bitcoin is risky? I just realized it in my life. Definitely, I will keep it in my form now. However, thanks for sharing it here, because I just realized my mistakes again and learn.
3057  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance withdrawals limits {0.05 BTC accounts} on: August 14, 2021, 02:38:33 PM
CloudFront blocking me to visit the links. A few days back I have created a thread Binance decreased withdrawal limits for basic verified users. The withdrawal limit was 0.06BTC when the article was published (27 July 2021).  I haven't received any mail from Binance about withdrawal, most probably it's because my account is fully verified. I don't think your concern is valid because it will not reduce more. The time frame is complete implementation as far as I know. The changes were effective immediately for new users but for an existing user, it will be effective from 2021-08-04 00:00 to 2021-08-23, step by step they will complete this implementation and it will ends on 23 August 2021.
3058  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Argentine President sees no reason to oppose Bitcoin adoption on: August 14, 2021, 01:49:28 PM
Although the most developed country doesn't allow Bitcoin officially but very rarely do they oppose it. Because Bitcoin keeps role on a national economy & would help the growth of the economy as well. I believe day by day a major part of developed countries would start accepting Bitcoin. The problem only developing & poor countries. Because even they can't analyze Bitcoin technology properly. I am saying it because my government even not encourage me to analyze Bitcoin technology where developed countries have been accepting Bitcoin.
3059  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Expose] Autocryptolite.com Hype Project on: August 13, 2021, 05:34:50 PM
They are a really looking good website, they don't seem to emit a scam in the air, it's like they are real. Good catch OP though, their project is too good to be true and it could've remained undetected if they made their offer not too high or they could've made the site a bit less over the top.
I am quite confused what do you want to say exactly? Can you please clear more either you are supporting them or just filling the weekly quota? Does it really a website design indicate of reality where their return is unrealistic? How much cost to build a website like this by buying a template? Most probably $50 is enough if you have little coding skill. Just need to change the logo and few contents.

Anyway, good job OP, the promising return itself is enough to mark it scam. Just keep finding scammers.
3060  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The ideology of Bitcoin on: August 13, 2021, 05:25:52 PM
It seems you limit Bitcoin in just profitability from the volatility. I am getting hard to understand you are describing Bitcoin ideology or describing the advantages of volatility. It's very true Bitcoin has become the most popular cryptocurrency due to volatility. But this isn't the true ideology of Bitcoin. You just skipping Bitcoin technology and how it has been helping payment solutions.

As we can see many merchants have been accepting Bitcoin and a few merchants wondering to do so. So by using Bitcoin technology we can make a secure and easy financial environment. You can send money anywhere in the world where the internet is available within minutes and without any involvement of a third party. That's what would keep alive Bitcoin. Volatility isn't really helpful to keep Bitcoin alive.
