3042  Other / Politics & Society / [Poll] what do you think about indonesian government's policy of executing drug dealers? on: April 30, 2015, 03:59:10 AM
Indonesian executing drug dealers came up a lot in the news lately and it seems there's quite a number of protesters everywhere.

I don't understand why should we pity them, I think the world would be better without drugs.

3046  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should the government do to make women start using Bitcoin? on: April 24, 2015, 01:32:20 PM
This very whiny article ( http://fusion.net/story/124655/why-bitcoins-male-domination-will-be-its-downfall/ ) says that there are not enough women using Bitcoin. So, just as most stupid reporters that talk about "inequality" and other collectivist drivel, they would likely want the government to step in and do something.

What do you believe the punishment should be for women who do not use Bitcoin which would satisfy the reporter's thirst for government power?

What the hell? nobody is stopping women from using bitcoin.

guess that mod counts that as a indirect advertising. :p
I'd create an alt and contact him if I were you. faster than emailing the support.

PM people you need to instead of creating a thread..
What about Vods behavior makes you think he gives enough of a shit to have a discussion with some one before or after negative rating them? He stated very clearly he was blocked.
What do you mean he was blocked ?? I don't understand.

Just to be clear in case you missed it, the "he" in the "he was blocked" is you. Sometimes Vod block certain users from pm'ing him.
3049  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: nexusmining.com is SCAM !! on: April 24, 2015, 01:09:57 PM
What happened::
I sent BTC to nexusmining.com, they kept the money but they didn't give the hash.

Scammers Profile Link:
https://www.nexusmining.com/

Amount Scammed: 0.554 BTC
Payment Method: Bitcoins

Additional Notes:
I've uselessly written them 9 times since them.
Only got a useless answer from a gmail account asking for my email address (!!)
like they didn't know (had written them from their contact form after logging on their site).

Following other users requests, here are a couple screenshots.
In the first one you can see I have 0.00 TH.
In the second one (scrolling down the page) you see that my contract made the 19 April is "expired" (it was never activated). In same screenshot you can also see it was taken today (22 April) and, bottom right, the forever offline chat button.

P.S. How do you attach images in this forum?

Regarding the "Proof of Payment": is it normal and advisable practice to publish the transactions IDs?
Do other people on this forum actually do that?

Upload the pic somewhere and use the insert image feature again.
and yes, using your tx id as proof is always advisable, even in the real world.

btw you can edit your posts, too.
3050  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: nexusmining.com is SCAM !! on: April 24, 2015, 09:11:04 AM
I'm new to all this.
How do I "show the lost" ?

I think he meant proofs. anything that can back up your claim, like transaction ID or screenshots.
3051  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Block Chain question on: April 24, 2015, 08:57:23 AM
If I send some bitcoins to some address, and I pay the proper fees, how sure am I that it will be included in the next block? Are there any guarantees if I want my payment to be included in the next block that is mined?

Actually just pay recommend fees you can get your transaction sent less than 10minutes. Guaranteed Wink

is there no limit to the number of transactions in a block? what if everybody pays recommended fees? so some will still not make it? am i right?

there is a limit to that. more transaction means more size, and the block size are limited to 1mb

as of now does the 1 mb limit always get full?

according to this
 https://blockchain.info/charts/avg-block-size

nope, not even close.

does it mean if we send with so little fee it can still make it to the next block? in electrum you can put the fee that you like so is it ok to put .0000001 and be confident that it will make it on the next block?

that, I'm not sure. I don't want to guess so you'll have to wait for someone with a little more knowledge.

3057  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Satoshi's coins be deleted? on: April 23, 2015, 08:28:47 AM
No. I think he/she/it/they pretty much deserved that much as the creator of bitcoin (which leads to the making of other cryptocurrencies).

at least not as long as he doesn't use those btc to ruin btc itself. that would be like ruining other people's life.

3059  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What are some movies you watched that changed the way you view the society? on: April 23, 2015, 07:39:45 AM
I don't think there's any movie that can change the way I view the society because I already have very low opinion of it since I don't know when.

I'll be sure to try watching "The Grave of the Fireflies" and "They Live", thought. who knows what will I think of society after that.
3060  Other / Off-topic / Re: If BTC goes to $1000 or more, what would you do? on: April 23, 2015, 06:57:58 AM
depends on how fast it increases from $230 to $1000.
if it happens in less than 7 days I'd sell all of my btc without a second thought.
if it raises steadily for 7 months I'd just be happy for the bitcoin community and buy some more.
