Much of what you say is based on your own wishes rather than scientific experimentation.
Well that sounds like psychological projection. Where did i wished something? You are The one wishing for eternal life

That being said, since it's very difficult to scrutinize the unscrutable, there isn't very much factual info, yet... except for the very fact of personal identity.

Personal identity isn't proof for anything other then feeling of personal identity. There's nothing magical about that.
3042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who are responsible for the bear run on: January 13, 2023, 07:24:11 AM

If my memory serves me correctly, then I am sure that the bear run was already on before the Do Kwon and SBF sagas. Though they further worsen the already bad situation, kinda adding salt to injuries.

But, i don't think the bear run where caused by these two alone, we are all part and parcel of it.

It doesn't require memory, you can just take a look at the chart you quoted.

A bear market is normal behavior in the crypto market, and it's not anyone's fault. The downward trend of the market in a bear market is also a normal phenomenon, and it is impossible to really predict and control what will happen. We should learn from these failures and control greed to avoid unnecessary losses.

Of course cycles are normal, but they always have trigger points to launch them.
And this wasn't about prediction, this is the aftermath and fundamentals, not technical analysis; which ironically is be basis for the claim that bear market is normal like you said and possible to predict.

Signing up with us now will put you in the great position to become one of our most valued VIP with automatic upgrade once the new system is launched.
-cut-
That's pretty vague promise. If the upgrade to VIP isn't automatic for everyone who registers now, what exact requirements do i have to fill to be in a great position to become a VIP?
For example how much i need to spend or how many times i have to roll slots for it for being guaranteed vip in the future versus the new users after the new system is launched?
3044  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: January 13, 2023, 07:03:48 AM
I just saw someone in the twitter making ton of money with your 1000x leverage crypto futures (which is an excellent idea to have in a gambling site) and now i am intrigued.

So few questions...

1. Do i have to hold rollbit coin in my casino wallet in order to stake it in order to get airdrops?
2. Is the marketcap for RLB really just under $150k or has the coinmarketcap wrong data?
3. Has something gone wrong for the token in the past as it's only trading in Serum DEX with insanely low $6,050 volume?
3045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NFT / METAVERSE price movement, prediction and discussion on: January 13, 2023, 06:15:27 AM
Dump, dump and dump. All of metaverse tokens are dumping so hard.

Those looks like they bottomed out to be honest. I am currently studying them so thanks to OP for linking them i guess. How in earth i completely missed that Star Atlas. Well i got some reading to do now..

This came back to my feed, and boy i was wrong. I have a vague memory that everything felt bottomed out. If someone had told me that that would been a good time to sell and there would still another -90% to drop (which happened) i would have probably thought they were crazy. But back then no one knew that there would be luna crash coming to top of the war.

the NFT market is really not in great demand, even products from donald trump himself reportedly don't have much interest (what happened to his fans), but I'm sure that's because of the unreasonable prices LOL.
NFT markets are doing as well as other altcoin markets. It's just the crappy projects like trump trading cards and things like GOT trademark and zero effort copy cats that are failing. And i totally understand why. They don't have the spririt of crypto. It's like coca-cola would make their own erc20 token and sold it. It's pointless and no-one cares.
3046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the best strategy for high wagering/low losses on plinko? on: January 12, 2023, 04:46:04 PM
It is true that the games provided in the casino have been programmed and in the end only the casino wins and the gamblers lose. Winning in casino games is just luck and I confirm that.
However, there is a strategy that can be used in betting on casino games, this strategy is that we can see and analyze and calculate for ourselves in several game settlements. If we have got the right position, then we can bet and it is possible to get a win.

From my previous opinion, I just explained that luck is not a strategy and luck in betting can be obtained by using the right strategy.
This applies only to games that have changing variables you can count and choose if you want to play that round or not.
Choices on plinko (where you can't place the starting point of the ball) are merely an illusion that only affect how big is your risk / reward ratio. It's more complex then in dice multiplier but it's basically same when it comes to outcome.

Do you agree with these efforts by the richest persons in the world to become immortal? What are the benefits and drawbacks of it if it actually occurs, given that the richest men in the world are currently making more efforts to have it happen? Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Larry Page, and Sergey Brin,
I don't have to form opinion about it. Of course they are going to try to lengthen their life cycle. I would too. I am just doing it by eating healthy taking care of my mental and physical health.

Benefits of immorality would include not dying, and if you get nasty diseases that would be also the drawback of it along watching all your loved ones die.

-cut-
After all, science has barely begun to accept the idea that there is a soul and spirit. Even if the physical body has been kept alive forever, will the connection between it and the soul/spirit always remain, as well? We are far from understanding things like this, and they may not even be something we can understand.

Besides, when the connections are weakened, there are evil spirits that want to get in and take over both body and soul, right?
Wrong. Science doesn't acknowledge the existence of soul or spirit. Even the religious circles can debate on the definition of the concept and everyone in those circles seem to have their own views.
Maybe some mentally deranged scientists do believe on that but their research on proving something so vague wouldn't hold any water.
3048  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe religion is a setback in African development? on: January 12, 2023, 04:15:05 PM
^^^ Note that all setbacks or advancements in Africa are personal as well as being societal.

Everybody dies, both the religious and the non-religious.

Without religion, personal setbacks are great. Why? because there is no hope of eternal life in Heaven. Without religion, there can only be eternal life in Hell... though many people without religion don't realize this.

With the right religion there will be life in Heaven after death (after the Resurrection). So, there is at least advancement rather than setback for some.

Advancement for Africans in this life, with no religion at all, means setback for eternal life for all Africans. Keep the religions, because some will be saved that way.
Cool
This is such a lame excuse. And what if you have chosen the wrong religion? Or what if your specific sect of countless different christian sects is wrong? What if there's an afterlife but only atheists get in?

But wait, you have a point, you are right, i see the light now. I now regret my atheist views and choose a to be religious instead. My religion of choice will be a Satanist as that's closest to my heart.
Thanks for opening my eyes. It's great to share a religion with you. Except you are on the side of Lord's sheeps am i am on side with a rebels that think themselves.

That was sarcasm if it was unclear.

America's gun problem doesn't come from people having guns. It comes from cowardly Americans not exercising their gun rights.
-cut-
That's some mental acrobatics. Please tell me again why there are so much gun violence in US because there are not enough guns.
And while you are on it, try to explain why it's low in places that have strict gun control laws.

Places that need guerilla warfare, problem wasn't the guns. Problems are way more complex but i understand that you want to simplify complex issues.

And you can pretty much compare US right wing gun nuts to taliban. They tend to have strong religious views, don't respect laws and strong views about "morals" while also they like to restrict freedom of women.

US is so freakishly funny about their concept of "freedom" that basically only comes back to guns. With a 2 party system and anything but free healthcare, when they have potential for so much more.

Yes, as long as they are still responding and the business still open this concern might not affect the casino service, like what I mentioned the marketing team who handles this might not see a result that they are expecting or they are don't have that budget yet or they are trying to allocate a bigger amount for advertisement and promotions and then they will allocate portions of it to signature campaign, we will be inform for sure as they will announce if there's any update regarding to this.
Well it's their business how they spend their revenue, but in the case of BetFury i would very much like to see them spending fraction of that to professionals who would sit down and think if a new game theory for bfg tokenomics end game, or some other benefits that would make holding BFG more desirable.

But i guess that would be just for users and wouldn't help the team in any way so it's not top on their priority list.

Some weeks ago I was rolling the dices on Stake and actually managed to get a good streak at 90%.
This week I tested my luck again and all went down hill, it seems my luck is completely gone. I got a 10% chance loss twice just in three rolls.  Roll Eyes
Decided it was time to stop and log off.

I'll try Blackjack when I feel lucky again. Any one here wants to lean me some good luck?  Tongue
Well i have lots of untapped good luck. I haven't used it at all recently because i have been saving it Grin.
Luckily i've kept my system of not spending more then i have planned so it doesn't really matter if i lose a lot. I wouldn't mind hitting some jackpots though. That's why we are in here. But i guess there will be time for that like there has been in the past. Usually winning streaks come when i least expect them.
3052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we really make a living in sports betting? on: January 12, 2023, 07:42:26 AM
I heard lots of stories online that there are people who are making a living in sports betting, and honestly it really inspires me that's why I'm still gambling now. So I'm just curious, do we have members of the forum here that are making a living in sports betting? Can they share some inputs on how to be successful like them?

I hope they will share so we will know if it's really possible. I mean, as the saying goes, casinos always win because they have the advantage, so how come people are making a living in sports betting?

It means you would have to be professional. To know everything there is to know about the players / fighters. Follow recent news and eat and breath sports. And even with that you won't get nearly all the bets right because some games can't be predicted. But that knowledge gives you an edge that can lead to profits if you are using it correctly.

Also if you aren't doing it purely by instict, it would be good if you had the latest data on spreadsheets to make some cold calculations that would give you a clear view over your feelings and preconception.

Any comments? Good or bad?
-cut-
Overrated. But i totally understand why they want to take everything they got from this hype. Most of these big players have all sorts of programs where they help innovators, small firms, of web3.0 developers etc. Partnerships with huge players are always good but they aren't happening on a level that hype indicates them happening. This is nice but nothing to get hyped about. It won't lead to anything more meaningful.
3054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Hackers hide malware in fake NFT game on: January 12, 2023, 07:26:22 AM
Another discovery of fraudulent activities was made by Korean specialists from AhnLab. The game is distributed through phishing sites or through a mailing list; it is a simple Pokémon NFT card game. After installing the game, RAT, a computer remote control virus, is installed on the victim's computer, which ultimately allows hackers to fully monitor all the victim's actions, including stealing passwords and seed phrases.

Quote
Hackers have been using a fake NFT game claiming to be Pokémon-branded to spread malware to unsuspecting users, according to cybersecurity firm AhnLab. The phishing website, which is still active at the time of writing, appears to offer a legitimate NFT marketplace and the option to buy tokens and stake NFTs based on the popular Japanese media brand. However, users who download the site's content are actually installing a remote access program called NetSupport Manager that gives hackers control over their device
https://metaverse.sg/nft-news/fake-pokemon-nft-game-distributes-malware

The remote control can be configured as the most common process on Windows, which the user will never mistake for malicious, which also applies to antivirus software, although some completely refuse to detect it.

As a result, the simple truth rings again: do not open anything on the Internet, do not open attachments from strangers, and start self-education on Linux systems in order to completely abandon leaky Windows.
I have been contacted by same kind of scammers several times, to do review of their obscure NFT game for money. I've always rejected the offer because real intentions shows miles away. And when you think about it, crypto people who connect their wallets for playing are the perfect target for the scam. You don't even have to get the banking details and hope banks don't reverse money transfers. You literally get everything without any work because others end up giving their wallets for you. I wonder how these won't happen all the time.

And funny enough people don't seem to care when some unknown game designers decide to use stolen trade mark. Like that wasn't a huge red flag.
3055  Economy / Gambling / Re: Consider open live casino (street gambling games) on: January 12, 2023, 07:16:03 AM
This is also what I've though it is sort of informal or illegal ? A lot of young people will be in that area hanging out drinking and having a smoke some sort of its their area and it ain't attract customers only those who know about them. Also, it is risky for me to go as I don't know the people there. Though we don't have same mindset but if we are just talking about street games it is really fun as we are doing it a lot when we are still young but how it was implemented was not good.
Depends where you live i guess but in most places unregulated gambloing is illegal. And where it isn't illegal you wouldn't want to do it without heavy protection. Because you will be only one protecting yourself and throwing money around in some back alley is a sure way to attract ciriminals.
3056  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe religion is a setback in African development? on: January 12, 2023, 06:17:49 AM
Religion doesn't really differ from this "magic" you speak about. Religion is just heavily organized superstition.
I won't turn this thread into an argument about Atheism vs Theism.
Yet you immediately did so i will respond.

Even from the atheist point of view, there are teachings and values from major religions which can be beneficial to a country or community in general. Atheism can also be good if does not lead to nihilism. The point is getting people to work, improve and living the best life possible in an honest way.
I am always baffled how people think any good values must come from religion, yet religions often have horrible values and history of brushing their crimes horrible crimes under a mat.
Nihilism has nothing to do with believing one less god then someone else.

When I was child for example, it was usual for our grandparents to tell us to work hard an study so God will bless us.
An atheist family could encourage their children to work and study because other obvious reasons.
Yes i am well aware that some parents want to outsource their responsibility and parenting to some all seeing god. I was a victim of that too.
3057  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why Would Anyone Be Against Self Defense? on: January 12, 2023, 05:41:03 AM
Self defence ≠ open carry automatic weapons

But how do you defend against the military and the police without a gun? And especially when you meet a rogue or vicious cop?
-cut-
Military or police would be pretty lame if you could make them back down if you just had a gun. And good luck getting in a gunfight with a police and explaining how that was a fault of the cop.
I can see zero changes that going your way. In a best outcome you would just be brushed off as a person who did suicide by cop. But i totally understand the conspiratard fantasy of being in a control or a hero.

And people in US are asking why they have a gun problem. It's because of attitude like yours. You don't have a gun problem in countries where they are only used for hunting.
3058  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: January 11, 2023, 11:13:26 PM
Well, I am way into 276k bets on Plinko with no 1000x win... so do not think you must hit it soon. Some people seem to think that you should regularly change seed, if you do not hit it within 40k bets, but I tried that.. before this and I just get the same result.

Gone are the days where you kind of had some guarantee that you will hit a 1000x within a maximum of 80k hits.  Roll Eyes I have dug the hole so deep now... I just have to continue until I hit it... so that I can recover some of my losses.  Angry Angry Angry
I feel for you. 275k is insanely lot. May i ask what's your win/loss ratio on plinko?

But weird as it is, thats probability for you, there are some players that got really lucky against all odds, so there must people people who got wildly unlucky against all odds as well. You just got the shortest draw. I feel like there should be some sort of consolation price when you are being really unlucky. Like leveling up faster or something.
3059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Not To Use Mobile Altcoin Wallet - But Use Desktop Wallet on: January 11, 2023, 10:03:55 PM
Mobile altcoin wallets are not safe, because there are viruses and malware targeting mobile phones. The best way would be use desktop wallet versions. Also antivirus soft are mainly developed for desktop.

I haven't yet encountered any keyloggers or wallet stealers on my phone. I only download official wallets and don't install anything shady into it. Yet i have encountered many such things by using my laptop. I am pretty sure that most viruses are targetted for personal computers rather then for phones.

As a rule of thumb, if you have a wallet installed in your phone or in your laptop. Don't use that device to surf on shady places and never ever install anything you don't need. It's equivalent to leaving your house door open when you are not home.
3060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Artificial Intelligence on Ethereum and the danger of a AI without limitations on: January 11, 2023, 07:53:52 PM
A source on Reddit actually said the entity Ai Mother is actually putting the foundational blocks of a AI based entity on the ETH blockchain. Using the blockchain to make a neural like network for the AI to thrive. With the ability for the AI to store new data on ETH blockchain to make itself smarter or "update" itself. All this stuff is way over my head but will post it here when the source gets all the info together. Guess there is proof of AI mother using AI on chain  Embarrassed  more than an NFT from what the source is saying.
Sounds the whole idea would be using buzzwords to lure in investors who don't understand how blockchain works.
I mean even if there would be some lame account pretending to be AI, how an earth it would benefit from a blockchain when it could use normal database that would be faster and can contain more data?

Can you give me a link to that reddit source?
