Fare? Ovvero quel movimento europeista che sostiene ulteriori cessioni di sovranità all'Europa?
Ma perché?HuhHuh

3043  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it a good idea to buy Bitcoin now at $29? on: February 22, 2013, 08:55:58 PM
Yes. Now is a good time to buy $29 bitcoins.   Grin

Current MtGox price: $31.07

If you did buy bitcoins at $29 or higher, I'd keep a close eye on the market.  I think lots of people are about to get burned really bad.  Once this thing gets moving it's going to be big and affect the market for a long time.  We went too high too fast again.
Wasnt you a bull at 25? Maybe I'm confusing.
3044  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] Avalon Asic Units on: February 22, 2013, 07:50:09 PM
You know a batch #1 order is going for like 5000$ each, correct? Also, i doubt you will be able to find someone willed to sell (a batch #1 order).
Good luck!
3045  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: italia on: February 22, 2013, 02:21:24 PM
Dai, siamo seri...
3046  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: italia on: February 22, 2013, 02:03:32 PM

Paradosso?
3047  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: Sono arrivati gli ASIC? on: February 22, 2013, 08:09:36 AM
3048  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: My Impression of Avalon Machine on: February 22, 2013, 07:08:33 AM
I'm really happy of this, let's hope that they find a way to make the process smoother and respect the deadlines.

4GB ram? LOL! Of course it was lagging. And Core Duo is like 5 y/o.
I bet whatever you want that the bottleneck was the hard disk Wink
3050  Other / Meta / Re: Moving servers on: February 21, 2013, 09:39:21 PM
I'm in the US and the latency is only barely noticeable when I'm browsing the site.
I recently moved my cluster in the us back to the Europe for this very reason (I had 2 pop), so it's good to have this confirmation that as long as the server is doing fine, 100ms aren't really a problem Wink

Thank you for the info!
3051  Other / Meta / Re: Moving servers on: February 21, 2013, 09:24:46 PM
And can we finally please know the specs of the server before and after? My nerd side wants to know.
Btw, you are 0.9ms away from my server in amsterdam, that's cool for my nerd side Cheesy

If that little piece of paper means I will get paid more than I guess its worth it.
A great portfolio of works already done, a github account with some open source packages you did, that is what i would value when hiring, not the piece of paper.
3053  Other / Off-topic / Re: I think I've become addicted on: February 21, 2013, 08:54:40 PM
As you said, you are only scratching the surface, there is much much more you will enjoy Wink
I remember of myself when I first configured Wordpress in 2007... Than Drupal, than created my custom cms (for internal usage, so don't blame me).

Enjoy! Smiley
3054  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: More ASICs in the wild? - New 162GHps miner account on eleigius on: February 21, 2013, 08:01:32 PM
It must be an Avalon, given that BLF didn't developed it's own and that it has the same exact hash power of the Avalon.
Really interesting, thank you!

And people think ASIC is good for BTC.
Some big institution developing their own ASIC while you still mine with your GPU is certainly not good for BTC, it's an easy concept, no?
3055  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it a good idea to buy Bitcoin now at $29? on: February 21, 2013, 07:53:17 PM
No, but its a good idea to buy at 30.10 if the ask wall at 30 dosent disappear and gets executed.
(it's a risky and short term trade)
3056  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: NVC on: February 21, 2013, 01:15:59 PM
3057  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch#2 Re-open 2/18 on: February 21, 2013, 09:04:33 AM
So, Avalon ships on April 14th, 2013.. that means we probably get ours at the beginning of May. According to this chart: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-0ol068iizf4/USN-rp-onoI/AAAAAAAAGXs/7UBDdEbiTHQ/s1600/9.10.chart2-2013-02-20.png

We'd get about 1 BTC a day and it goes downhill from there.
An interesting way of reading that update.
3058  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch#2 Re-open 2/18 on: February 20, 2013, 08:47:58 PM
Another thing about being dumb: You posted in other thread (BFL god forbidden)..... 130w vs 72w is a 20% difference. This is for the SC single power consumption.
I don't recall what kind of calculation i did, but it was correct. I was assuming 6 chips/single and not 8, etc. No need to troll here, FYI.

The same way you assumed AVALON would not change their date?

I like your " i feel dumb, but i'm not dumb" argument.
My math skills are certainly better than yours, that's all what I need to know not to feel dumb. Yes, I failed hard on that post about the BFL chips.

I don't regret my choice, and i never said I feel dumb. I said that I feel like i was treated, by avalon, like if I was one. Not personally, in quality of customer.

I certainly did not like that the same way I don't like your trolling.
3059  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch#2 Re-open 2/18 on: February 20, 2013, 08:38:34 PM
I was talking about the Batch #1. I find the lack of information about that really indicative...

Ok we are talking about two different things now Smiley I was referring to the new dates shown for Batch 2 part 2.

I haven't seen the batch 1 shipment date change at all. March 1st is still there and its only Feb 20th. Though the time is coming soon. Now that CNY is over I am sure it will be a very interesting two weeks Smiley
Lets hope they don't change that and that they account for the 12 units shipped daily since a month ago + the 53 units sent trught "that had the best chance to make it out of china". Seeing those 300 units shipped for real would be really interesting.

What disturbed be is that the date was changed today, it wasn't there 2 days ago when I placed my order.

And yes, I'm dumb because I placed the order the very day I saw BFL inventing such a ridiculous excuse such as "it's president way, we called and they responded, but our guy there was on holiday". No news until now, ridiculous is not enough. So I think that I did the right choose with this order, but I don't like dates being pushed foward the day after I order.

So, if they ship batch 1 in time, they will have my trust again.
3060  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch#2 Re-open 2/18 on: February 20, 2013, 08:18:46 PM
Anyway after this I think that we seriously deserve an update about the REAL status of the shipping...

I think he did give a REAL status. March 10th at least. Again it would make sense if they had about 300 orders the first round of batch 2. I can only speculate on the later date of April 15th as too many orders and giving a real ETA? Today I saw -19 units in stock. Could that mean another 19 units where purchased after the said "Out of Stock" notification popped up?

I have no idea when that date was thrown up there. It could have been the start of the Part 2 of the second batch order and I totally missed it.
I was talking about the Batch #1. I find the lack of information about that really indicative...
