3041  Economy / Speculation / Re: Someone just bought 12000 Bitcoin on coinbase wonder why? on: April 08, 2021, 10:48:28 AM
i can not see what is inside the link.

Somehow this purchase dont surprise me. Why someone bought so much Bitcoins ? Because he wanted to do that and can do that.
When will people stop having heart attacks every time someone make a large purchase or transfers funds, and stop counting other people money. Instead of wondering, I would be happy that such large amount can be bought/moved just with 1 click and without tons of bureaucratical work.

its surprising. with a huge amount of money, i don't think someone in the right mind will really purchase 12000BTC on coinbase. if they are careful, they would rather be making contact with miners to make a deal between them than making a transaction on coinbase where they have to give up data. but there's always going to be someone out there who doesn't care about privacy.
3042  Economy / Economics / Re: Texas Could Recognize Bitcoin As A Legal Currency on: April 08, 2021, 07:35:12 AM
it's a gradual adoption. was Wyoming the first state who implemented Bitcoin as currency?
i saw an article about Miami as well and this time Texas. shifting would be hard but i think it's rewarding if they put trust in Bitcoin. how do they go about doing this actually?  it would be a big LN channel to operate for the state, I think they can do that.
3043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Haney vs Linares - May 29 on: April 08, 2021, 07:03:42 AM

the champion wouldn't be a champion if he isn't a badass boxer. Linares is a precise hitter, you can tell by the way how he knocks his previous fights. it's going to be worrisome to see how he can cope up with the younger boxer while he isn't in his prime now. Probably a close fight if you just weigh in the experience. Daney has no loss, a power puncher and younger who can stand back up again once knocked.
3044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's up with Tron (TRX)? on: April 08, 2021, 05:53:44 AM
Is this a result of Justin Sun and whales manipulating the price of TRX?

don't you think you just miss the things that Justine does to hype TRON?  he doesn't do it anymore. i also like to see something new like inviting Elon Musk or Justin going to mars but i heard nothing anymore.

The infamous smart contracts platform created by Justin Sun recently experienced a surge in price. Not long ago, TRX was well below $0.06 on the market. It's now the time where the coin is hovering well above $0.12 per coin. Am I missing something here? What could be the cause of the pump? Do you think TRX will retain these prices for long? Or will it all fade away in an instant? Is this a result of Justin Sun and whales manipulating the price of TRX?

Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

The growth of TRON smart contract for Tether USD transactions can be one of big reasons. It help TRON has better adoption in the crypto users but in this year, Binance Smart Chain and some other chains from crypto exchanges will compete so hard with TRON and TRC-20 chain.

Tether Use on Tron Passes Ethereum as Low Fees Attract Small Transactions.

Before the newest update from Binance, withdrawal for Tether USD on TRC-20 chain is free ($0) but now Binance charge a litte higher fees if Binancians use TRC-20 for USDT withdrawals. They charge cheaper withdrawal fees if Binancians choose BSC for USDT withdrawals.

that seems to be correct even the JustSwap had gotten huge volume. it must be NFT and Defi that making prices up for this bullrun.

3045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who where how much withdrew from no deposit on: April 08, 2021, 05:41:46 AM
~snip~
But mostly of the gambling sites now I guess requires KYC before you could withdraw your funds.
^ Just because they want to make sure there is no money laundering or any illegal activity from gambling sites.
However, gambling is business, so there’s no point in arguing about this actually. Free bonuses are provided to the users for them to try the platform. Experience
What they can offer and become their customers. On the other hand, no deposit policy is a different story. It is actually prohibited by the law.
Probably the best thing to do there to file a lawsuit and get your compensation. Kidding aside, Probably we are all done with these schemes. We had to be more vigilant and get there.
That, and probably just to stay within legal boundaries of whatever country they are being regulated by. Most countries have that specific age bracket of which people are able to gamble after all, so having KYC is quite natural in the gambling industry. As for no deposits, I'm not familiar with it being against the law and afaik, there are some casinos that provide it without many issues (not sure now, but I'm pretty sure there were a lot way back then). Plus, no deposit policies would only become a plus for some newbie players if they provided free bonuses after all, so even if it was a scam, as long as you quit when you think they're overstepping their boundaries, I think it's okay to test it out.

not to some gambling dapps but bitcoin casino will probably decide to ask your KYC when they see you wanna withdraw a big amount of funds from them. they'd look into your account and then find some faults like you have another account or so. worse is if you did really cheat then you can't get your jackpot money.

no deposit are usually done by casino upon promotion. so when bitfury did their promotion i kept playing with them for they give about some satoshis for users to play around and earn their casino token. it was fund but did not hit a joackpot.

3046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beware of the Frauds , how pandemic is affecting gambling negatively on: April 07, 2021, 05:32:53 PM
Honestly I don't get what "malicious activities" you're refering to... since those frauds that are currently existing are those gambling sites that are confiscating funds and do have the history and possibility of scamming their users. Some of them are not paying their users for their winnings, permanently locking/banning of accounts of those users that are winning from their site. They just want their users to be those that loses, they do not want users that could win high so they ban them. That's fraud.
+1 , We have constantly seeing the same case over and over again , That gambling site is taking advantage of their Rules and bringing it against the players and the sad part is the community is divided into this matter.
There are accusation that some  Names here are conspiring with some site to Justify those attack from their players while others believe that they are just bringing justice.
But the point is still Fraud is caused by gambling sites and not by individual players though there are some groups that spreading this thing to attack sites and Take a Bounty from it.
Since the community is composed of many individuals with different views it is logical we cannot all agree on every single point, but in my experience the community is really fair on their judgements on most situations, if a player is going against something that is on the TOS of a website even if the TOS may be considered to be too restrictive the player has the responsibility to read and accept the TOS in which case the community will side with the casino, but if the player is really blameless and he got a big win following all the rules then the community will side with the player and the casino could receive negative trust or even a flag if they do not pay the player their rightful gains.

malicious activities had been around in Bitcoin for years and still continue to happen and just today I saw a thread where he was one of the victims of Adkinsbet scam who can't send out more than 2K EUR. apparently, he trusted the casino because it allowed him to withdraw the first time he tried.

malicious activities don't just stop there. it's not a new thing anymore for us here in crypto. casino TOS and licenses are often cause of alarm. if the laws are lossen, scambags will always try to make money out of it.

3047  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Giving bitcoins as a gift? on: April 07, 2021, 05:06:34 PM

she may have done very remarkable to you so she deserves something, i hope you don't ask anything in return because it seems to me you don't know her very well. you be very careful when giving something that big, you might not help her instead but put her in danger as well. learn more about her and look at what she really needs, maybe a laptop for her work or just things.

3048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People die from heart attack when they hit the jackpot. on: April 07, 2021, 07:08:40 AM
That will depend on how they use the win money for their life because that is normal if they use the money to buy the things they want. They now have a lot of money that they can spend to buy anything, but if they care about their future, they will not spend too much money to buy the things instead save the money for their future. It needs wisdom on how to manage the huge money that they won before having that money in the future or grow the money amount.

The vast majority of the lottery winners are from the lower class of the society (the rich almost never try their luck with lotteries). And this creates an interesting scenario when they win these huge amounts as prizes. Most of them will be having no experience in dealing with big amounts of money, and in many cases they lose large part of the rewards by investing the amount in various Ponzi schemes and scams.
If that so, they will not have the experience to enjoy the money for a long time because they will spend all of the win money. They will hunger to buy everything that they want without thinking about how their future will be. It will not be recommended because if they think that money can help their lives instead of spending to buy many things that they do not need, they will pay attention to planning how they will use their money in their lives.

some of them will party with newly found friends. friends and relatives come when you have a ton of money. this is where it gets worse when they hang out with the wrong crowd because they end up involved in drugs and possibly robbed.

so many people will try to get in touch when you announced you have some money. winning a lottery could be the time you will know who your real friends are.
just like now that BTC is widely known, they will contact you when they see you posted some crypto-related things on your facebook.

3049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Vegas 23: Vettori vs. Holland - Predictions & discussion on: April 07, 2021, 06:41:07 AM
Holland quickly grabs an opportunity to once again to be in the cage, Dana didn't consider it a prank when he answered the call on April fools day knowing this guy acted foolishly against Brunson. but still, Kevin is a very likable person, he can make people laugh and considering the analysis that Vettori doesn't have the wrestling skills like Brunson's i guess i will still bet for  Holland.
3050  Economy / Speculation / Re: Altcoins pumping like crazy - is the BTC Bullcycle ending? on: April 07, 2021, 06:10:42 AM

well, there's still panic in the stock market and USD printing by trillions, there are plenty more reasons why the traders from this market will come running to crypto market. besides, there is no indication yet that BTC will drop below its range for several weeks already. if it ain't happening yet then it could go swinging to a new ATH.

technical analysis shows differently because you can see already that it had bubbled too much. it's sure to drop one day, when it will happen is going to be a guessing game.
3051  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cryptocurrency Casino Sites? on: April 07, 2021, 02:23:25 AM
Choose the site which has good reputation on this forum. Don't ever be lured by some kind of giveaway or bonus when you see a new site , make sure you have read all their TOS first before make a deposit. There are lot of good site you can find on here, so our suggestion won't help you much

agree with this one. this should be your first criteria when looking for a casino to play around with. it wouldn't matter whether South or North American market, cryptocurrency casino are for all, anyone in the globe can use it. but there are lots of casino scams which if you can research on google you will most probably land in the forum for scam threads.  not sure about the laws on North American market though.
3052  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happens after Alt Season? on: April 07, 2021, 01:50:25 AM

after altseason, some of these altcoins are going to fade out and die just like in 2018 where the project that goes up in 2017 had now been gone. there are few that will remain because their team is still trying to succeed.

whenever the altcoin season begins to end, you don't buy BTC because BTC will also drop, just go directly buy stablecoin. i would probably buy yuan instead of usdt this time.
3053  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price has reached new high price near 59K on: April 06, 2021, 08:27:51 AM
that seems to be what is happening that's why we see altcoins coming up the ranks. altcoins dominance increasing BNB is about 2.30.

BTT is up within the top 20, it's happening quickly like there are no signals provided, it's like only the holders had ridden this pump and now it's $0.01. it looks very easy to gain this token actually but yep there are tons of volume right now.

3054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PRINT THE MONEY on: April 06, 2021, 07:13:49 AM
this could really turned scam.  we know the word trustless means that we don't need to learn who the person behind the other end and he still gets the coins. but this time this is going to be no trust. there is no way someone is going to send $9000 to a stranger that can just say he dropped dead after receiving the money.

arbitraging is good. so why don't you just buy XRP from another exchange and sell it to the Korean exchange? not matter how small your funds its still la gain for you since the transaction fee of XRP is way small.

3055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will TRX go to new ATH on: April 06, 2021, 06:03:35 AM

TRON price itself has reached $ 0.1345. you could say it's high enough, in my opinion Tron will be a strong competitor in cryptospace, even being able to enter the top 10 coinmarketcap, Tron's position itself has now reached rank 18, i think that TRX can go to new ATH in may 2021, because the graphic price of TRX itself keep going up and i think this coin will really hit the peak sooner in may.

it has been so low since 2018 so it must have been a good investment for those who bought it to make this pump but what i don't understand is that there is no development to this project right now. there is no cause why a bunch of people will right now try to buy TRX. its just a pump still. no Justine announcement.

while i have thousands of it that had been stored in the casino i play, there is nothing much to it still. i only like it because it helped me send cheaply. now that it had risen, its like wanting me to trade it to USDT already and instead of betting, it wants me to trade more on BTC.  Cheesy

3056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will crypto sportsbook replace fiat sportsbook in the future? on: April 06, 2021, 05:37:25 AM

eventually, crypto sportsbook will be regulated. the exchanges today are not becoming very monitored by the IRS. there was a recent law I've watched on youtube with Robert Kiyosaki which you will have to report whether you trade BTC and if you check NO and then they find out they did. it's going to be considered a felony.

if they are now doing that, they could try to also watch crypto sports betting. the growth of users in crypto that had started sportsbetting is increasing so i guess it will continue to rise that will replace fiat sportsbook.

3057  Economy / Gambling / Re: Very immoral marketing strategy. on: April 06, 2021, 05:23:19 AM

give him a little time he will realize it. we have all seen it, their names keep coming up in the list of high rollers. i didn't even realize they are influencers/streamers until someone posted their youtube video. but hey they prefer that kind of marketing. a company would rather hire someone who personally has tried playing on them than someone who has not. if you are not convinced by these streamers then don't play to whichever he promoted. its still up to you.
We really have a choice to believe or not besides, this is just a marketing strategy and the casinos is not forcing us to play. Newbies have to realize that every casinos have their own marketing strategy, so its up to you if you’re going to play because of those high rollers marketing strategy, or you just want to play to have fun and you didn’t care with those marketing strategy at all. Here in forum there’s a lot of marketing strategy, like giving you the some extra reward if you place on too which very few are joining, so this is a sign that not all are biting those marketing strategy.

its the same with us who wears signature. i do bet on stake.com particularly on MMA and boxing. i followed these sports a lot though i'm not an expert to speculate who will win on every match. i can guarantee that i have at least more than 60% winning rate. in the UFC prediction thread, users speculate who will win on matches, its up to you to believe them sometimes i follow tokeweed's bet too. he didn't force me but i can see his bet makes sense. if the streamer influencer speculates as well, there is no forcing you to do the same but his marketing still matters for the casino.

3058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will TRX go to new ATH on: April 05, 2021, 07:44:59 AM
I Bought TRX back when the value is lowering at $0.08 and still waiting for 5 folds  Grin

I don't care until how long this come but I'm sure sooner it will because of the increase iN Demand .

And also not giving attention to the personal attacks from other Exchange owners.

TRX have started to get a lot of traction now and surging the price to the new levels now days. It is good to see all these coins which were too much undervalued for a long time has started to get some momentum and those who continued to hold it might make some good money with these rises.

if you look at their channels and read some of the announcements, there is nothing new that will serve as the catalyst to this rise but most probably Justine pumping it. it's healthy that it's also not left without making its holders gain. they have sacrificed a lot of opportunities just holding it. but how does NFT in tron help its price to go up?

traders saw that BTC had been in the range of 55-60k for weeks. there could be a decline in price, and probably instead of holding BTC, they move their funds to a cheaper token like TRX.

3059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Cotto vs Marquez - Exhibition match on: April 05, 2021, 06:42:57 AM
[snip]
Without protective gear, and if things go serious, the fight might become bloodied so instead of the supposed entertainment purposes that's why it's an exhibition match, it will now become a usual boxing fight like fighting with the title.

But I doubt both boxers will go serious so it's good instead to see them fighting without any protective gear.
Just because it is an exhibition fight doesn't mean that that they don't have to get serious, this isn't the Olympics so I think that a mouthpiece and gloves will suffice as a protection in this exhibition match, and they are also hardened fighters so a protective gear is an insult in my opinion to their pride.

Yeah! I don't think this fight will gonna be the last one we saw when they were in their prime like we used to see when we were young. I think this exhibition match will be just some warm-up-like fight because these guys' popularity is still there and there will be a large number of people that will gonna watch this. they will surely earn some money and popularity with this. If ever they have any plan to run for any government officials, they will get some supporters with this upcoming fight.

lol.. why everything has a political purpose? I guess it's only Manny Pacquiao is doing that and it was an effective strategy, be a popular boxer then run for politics. Macquez and Cotto are both popular in their respective country, they don't need to fight just to gain supporters in the election, they can already do it now as they have the fame and money.

they are better in the ring, they've grown old and built their career in boxing all their life. politics is another field, i don't think they'd last there unless they have the management and experience in local politics. Manny Pacquiao gained a local position at first before running for the national position but even so, he still didn't escape the war in politics. i don't think he will ever win the next election. the people who are in the background who truly run the country will just make him a puppet.

Cotto and Marquez may run for a position but their lack of experience will just make them unqualified. it requires a network of both sides like the DEMO and REP and then taking responsibilities for the decisions and the magnitude of it is too much of a burden. their rivals will just laugh at them. it's a different game than boxing.

3060  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people care who Satoshi is/was? on: April 04, 2021, 10:45:53 AM
There are two main reasons for that;

1. Good reason - you know, like meet and greet, asking questions about his personal life, where did he went, how did he make Bitcoin, etc...

2. Bad reason - Like they will threaten him and force him to give all of his Bitcoin (if he's holding some), and they might want also to control Bitcoin if it possible, so they are going to ask Satoshi Nakamoto about it, or any worst possible scenarios.

it might just be impossible to see him though.  if you have been in this forum for a while, you'd see countless times a thread about users trying to find him and analyzes his posts just to have clues. he seems to have covered all his tracks and not even trying to withdraw any of his coins to keep his privacy. he is an important person in the history of finance. it's interesting to know the person behind Bitcoin creation but i hope he won't be found.
