I don't think it's meaningful anymore to discuss what if bitcoin is a scam etc etc... that kind of discussion belongs to 2009-2011 period, Bitcoin is in a way a commodity that increases and decreases on value depending on demand, stocks are too, but they aren't "scam".
Yeah, I think bitcoin period in question, expired as you mentioned above. And now the best thing to do is to invest in it, because many people who believe in the presence of bitcoin and already tested several years ago until today. thanks Bitcoin holds satisfied users in high numbers especially the early adoptors who invested at right time and now are billionaires, it can also make us rich if we start investing in it as the future of bitcoin is very bright and I don't think it will ever disappear. But how can you be so confident in it? Optimism is good, I know, but when you invest a lot of money there is always a huge risk of losing all of it. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, of course, but what exactly made you think bitcoin is a reliable currency? Anything can happen in future and no one can predict the clear picture, bitcoin is good at a moment but that doesn't mean that it will keep on performing in the same way in future. Yeah we are not future teller to know what will happen for bitcoin if it will stay alive for a long time or it will die.. I'm using multiple Bitcoin Wallets ranging from desktop wallets to web wallets such as Coinbase and snapcard to store my bitcoins. I don't prefer wallets that change your bitcoin address every transaction because it is confusing to use since I didn't know whether or not if we can use the same address every time.
The Wallets which change address with every transaction, the previous wallet address can be used again as it is permanently associated with that wallet. i never heard that there is wallet that every transaction its generate new address again.. this is just like in coinbase but not for every transaction its automatically generated. daily or weekly.. |

At a moment I will not prefer to get paid in bitcoins as price is not high and there is no guarantee that it will be even higher in future so it will be a huge risk to take.
you don't need the price to be high in order to receive bitcoin as your salary. if you think the current price is low, then it means that your salary will get you more bitcoins as result compared to when the price is really high. that's the benefit. That's true but what is the use of holding them for a long time till it reaches to high point, as you will never sell them till the price goes higher and no one knows when exactly it will happen. well, people holding their coins for a long period of time can have several reasons. the pure investment minded people keep holding till it reaches a certain price level to sell at. others purely use bitcoin as store of value tool to keep their holdings out the reach of governments and banks. and the price going up makes it an extra bonus for them. People can afford to hold them for a long term only if they have other source of income and bitcoin is pure investment for them but a person whose income is only from bitcoins will not prefer to hold it for long term as he needs money to run his life and take care of his family. I think there is people who are earnigns here and spend it for his family to live because they dont have a day job.. but i think its hard to live in bitcoin if your source is isngature only.. so if you really want to live in bitcoin.. accept multple task online.. |

It's not that easy because BTC needs confirmation time and you'll have to sit there waiting for the confirmations so that you can pay.Apart from that I think BTC is a great means of payment for sure.
Your right the payment speed is one of the problem but i think if they can convert in just like convert it into points first. To use it easily without waiting for transaction because you convert it already into points but they should invented a card for points so that they can pay fast or instantly without waiting for confirmation.. |

No. If I were to receive Bitcoin randomly I will send it back to the owner if the person somehow get back to me. Anyway, my address is a vanity address, it is very easy to find me. Which in turn also mean that it is very hard for someone to send wrongly to a vanity address.
I once dreamed of receiving 5 Bitcoin in my wallet (the dream specifically pictured Mycelium and my phone) however.
Honestly not all people who can receive high amount of bitcoin almost 70% of people not thinking to send it back to owner who send bitcoin accidentally.. but same here if i am one of who receive bitcoin from unknown person.. |

Lately, I have only used for investments. I rarely use Bitcoin for daily expenses or online shopping, since the number of options is limited. Bitcoin has been very useful for other purposes, anyway.
yeah very limited if you want to shop with bitcoin. because only a few stores who accept bitcoin. it makes users were bored to do with bitcoin spending and it makes less and less for spending bitcoin transactions. I rarely go shopping with bitcoin. yeah it seems quite reasonable For now we can not use it locally but i heard that brazil has 150 stores locally are accepting bitcoin as payment.. So i think it will happen too in the future that we can use it for shopping because here in my country we can exchange my bitcoin into giftcard that we can use for shopping in SM mall. |
