3041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 27, 2021, 12:45:30 PM
Another win @stadus, that was a good bet, easy one for the Celtics. What Bucks showed is their inconsistency, I'm happy that finally smart is getting back on his old self, he is a big reason for the Celtics success, hopefully he will be healthy all throughout so it's good to bet on the Celtics.
3042  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Type of people who buy bitcoin. on: March 27, 2021, 10:27:44 AM
Hello. So, I was wondering if bitcoin is something that only the privileged and elite who have extra money leftover can invest in or not. Are normal people working minimum wage buying bitcoin, even if it is a small amount? Thanks.
That will be something to consider, some were having the interest to buy Bitcoin but money gives a hindrance to start.
If you only have a minimum salary, I don't think the investment will be their priority but it is likely to prioritize the basic needs of the family. That really be hard in a situation like that, and I don't want to suggest then committing a loan for this sake because that will only give additional problems later.
3043  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without experience and knowledge on: March 27, 2021, 09:57:48 AM
Traders should understand first that trading is different from gambling, a lot of traders are mistakenly that trading is pure of luck wherein they will just buy and hold it because they "think" it is the next big thing. The truth is we cannot become a profitable trader if we are not focuing on earning knowledge and also experience. It is better if we will focus on gaining information first befpre putting money in some exchanges. The reason why there are only few people who became profitable in trading is because they are focusing on gaining profit than knowledge first. It is also takes time to become master in specific strategy so it is better if we have patience and also have persistence to learn.
Knowledge and skills are the vital things we need to acquire before trading. It is a kind of preparation that we never have to forget otherwise, we are just only throwing our money out of the pocket.

But it is to understand that knowledge and skills can't learn instantly, it needs time and effort to develop. If we wanted to see passive trading outputs, we will have to work hard on it and consider all our mistakes as a tool for us to improve and to knows which areas we have to focus on.
3044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking is not for Muslims on: March 26, 2021, 10:53:01 PM
Well does it means that Muslims don't do business and make profits on they goods, because I don't see why it is forbidden that getting interest on you asset is a sin before God. Let be careful as not to misinforme our self's.
I think apy in staking just like interest in banking industry but I also believe it a halal in way. We all deposit our property in Banks hence banking industry gives us profits. Just same Projects are giving us apy as we hold our assets in different exchanges or websites.

I'm interested on how Muslims treat it also.

Personally I have deposits in different banks and in our country banks credit us a quarter interest on deposit, so if that is not allowed in Muslims teaching then probably Muslims does not have a bank account in our country.

I like to hear what OP has to say about this...
3045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [NPXS] pundi x moon or doom ? on: March 26, 2021, 10:35:48 PM
What happen to their BOB phone anyway? They always missed up with the supply luckily sold mine during the 2018 pump. This project made a good start before, but now I think it is slowly disappearing in the limelight and need to keep up with the competition.

I have not read good update on that actually, the only thing that made this project is the changing of supply and its exchange listing, lol..

Can't tell if it will survive after the bull run, but let's enjoy what we are seeing now, those who were able to accumulate at price that is very cheap, not even 1 sat per NPXS.. they should now sell and try to relax while waiting for a big dump.
3046  Other / Archival / Re: DeFi hyip is over? on: March 26, 2021, 10:20:56 PM
I dont think that the DeFi hype is already over but I think its still on-going however there is just a new craze that is making so much noise and activities in the market and that is the NFT. But I have a strong feeling that DeFi will continues in this market cycle.
Constantly the same thing can not be heard in any way, many projects have disappeared, but also many have remained on the market and still continue to live, so such a loud hype is gone-yes, but projects were created, and will be created!

Maybe is always more than one.. but it's hard to really identity how big the market is if we don't use figure.

I think the the hype of the entire market is still here, hence DeFi hype is still here.

By the way, I don't use HYIP ( high yield investment program) as most most likely its a scam.
I'd rather consider the hype as its more legit and same way it would increase the price but with real investors.
3047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think about the Old coins? on: March 25, 2021, 02:54:40 PM
Hello Guys,

Coins on top for 2017 like EOS, VET, ZEC, DASH, NANO, XTZ...
Can they compete with existing coins like DOT, LINK, coins on DEfi.

Should I invest in old coins?

Are they have the potential to rally the market once again? Better to check their price history and to find out if they still have the asset to make revenue otherwise, investing in them is just a waste of time and money.

If we only just consider of what the OP has said. The options are less interesting, we can dig more old coins that are already proven good and profitable, not to risk with these coins as mentioned.

DOT and LINK are good also and I have to choose them than EOS, VET, ZEC, and etc...
3048  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: my gripe with the term "crash" on: March 25, 2021, 02:29:54 PM

i am not worried, it will get there, massive ups with massive downs, and it would be a lot less if these videos and blogs would not hype the trend.

Because we have nothing worried also. Dumps, pumps, we are all seeing this all the time. Crash can be happening as well but this is far different when are just talking about market corrections. 1%, 5%, or even 10% can't be considered as a crashing trend for me, well, maybe you?

Yeah, I believe that the market will be bouncing back to the dip again but this can please us to worried about every correction and dumps we see.
3049  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which plan seems better? on: March 24, 2021, 02:36:27 PM
Plan 1: Buy BTC and ETH only. Spend $50 and buy 50% BTC and 50% ETH. No schedule and buy on dips.

...

Buy BTC and Bitcoin only but not at 50/50, it is better to buy more on BTC 60% while 40% for ETH. Well, buying coins during the dips is not unusual, most investors do this and then sell at high. But this is not what I have planned after buying, I have to hold it for a while until the next ATH just comes. Patience can be tested as well but if we are truly committed to our plan, that seems possible.
3050  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Online Gambling 'or' Day trading cryptos- Which one is more lucrative? on: March 24, 2021, 02:04:29 PM
Gamblers will say Gambling is more profitable. And obviously, of course, Traders will also say trading is more Lucrative.

Whatever you are, if that you are a Gambler or Trader, don't make compared the two because you are not doing both to give a reason that you can say which one is better. Because some people are not good at trading but they lucky in gambling, and some people also are good at trading but very unlucky in gambling.
3051  Economy / Speculation / Re: The reasons why Bitcoin price drops recently on: March 23, 2021, 01:28:20 PM
1.  Powell commented cryptocurrencies as "a speculative asset" which leaded to an adjustment in Bitcoin price but a rising trend in Gold

2. US President is considering spending $3 trillion on infrastructure in the States which draws investment capitals into the US stock market

Even there is an adjustment in the Bitcoin price these days but it is expected it will recover soon.

No matter what they do, we can absolutely expect this kind of market behavior forever. If ever this could somewhat give some impact to the price but this not giving a huge effect. All the dumps and pumps that we experience can be happening all the time and even without this so-called price manipulation, we can't simply ignore this possibility.

Maybe it was right that some people get off from crypto and jump to the stock market drives the demand to slow but we find it also that they will come back soon and hype the market again. This gonna be the life cycle of crypto and any form of investment, and there is now way to change it.
3052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now a GOOD or BAD time to invest? on: March 23, 2021, 12:31:37 PM
People got obsessed because seeing someone get a huge profit in crypto but they are not knowing how many times that this person did lose before to have what he got today. Thinking about investment corresponds to the risk and the possibility of loss.

Asking GOOD or BAD? The situation is really at high-risk and I would say this is not the best time for new investors to start. If you are just new to crypto, I would suggest understanding the situation first and ask yourself if you are ready enough to face challenging scenarios. But if you know with yourself that you are already capable of taking the risk, then make a decision.
3053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: insane fees on eth (uniswap) on: March 22, 2021, 11:14:52 PM
The reason why am not able to buy or invest in any project that is trading on uniswap only, it is ridiculous how people sing praises of the is exchange with high gas fees, it doesn't make sense why a dex should have such high fees, am not a fan, not now not never  Cheesy
This affected so many investors trying to buy coin during the Defi hype period, that's why most of the project falls in to bsc smart chain for an easy charge, ethereum blockchain is demanding huge charge for a transaction this time, $15 which is equivalent to what some low dude can't afford.
This not surprising this time, ERC20 tokens have a huge transaction fee. Most bounty hunters are complaining about this one, that actually hard for them when their token just valued at $40 (for example) and have to pay for $10-$15, it is a big loss for them. Really disappointing but they have no choice this time if they want to sell/swap it, they have to sacrifice some bucks in order to get money from hunting.
3054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC seems to be fading out and loosing popularity. on: March 21, 2021, 12:06:48 PM
A lot of people already feel left out, Almost like they have missed the opportunity to invest in bitcoin, many are looking to invest in other alt coins. I had a conversation with a friend today about Bitcoin, investment and its very high transaction fees, he expressed his displeasure saying that like him, many others that he knew are no longer considering btc to invest in, rather, they are looking to invest in other crypto's.
Do you think it is too late for someone to invest in btc? Especially when it is not a huge sum?
Well, I was hearing this claim most of the time when the market is in Bullrun. Because in the first place and during the bear season they supposedly have to start buying Bitcoin but unfortunately, they don't bother themselves to make it, instead, they keep saying it dumps more and thinking of an end to crypto. And for now, they are blaming Bitcoin for not telling it... it's a funny thing.

It is not to wonder why these people never grow and appreciate Bitcoin because they are always blaming it. They never accept their failure, they never learn their mistakes, in fact, that 2017 is a lesson to learn for everyone which I really think that they missed it.
3055  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Unable to trade because of my nationality on: March 21, 2021, 11:47:06 AM
I thought that Binance doesn't have that kind of restriction coz I was thinking that it is open for everyone. It is very unfortunate that our application just ends like that and stopping us to enjoy the feature of this known and reputable exchanger.

I would like to know as well all the countries that are banned in Binance for this will serves also awareness to the community.
I couldn't find it, maybe there is someone who knows it. Well, I hope there is.
3056  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Data suggesting more than 95% traders are losing on: March 20, 2021, 10:40:14 PM

95%? I dont really believe that much about fail percentage because if people or traders are losing then we wont really see much that of liquidity.
Perhaps, we are seeing more traders had come and enjoyed the market. That 95% probably during the time when the market is going to bearish season, not in the current situation we have now. Coz I feel that the majority are good and in profit.

We know that there are a lot of new traders now and might they lose. But I'm not sure if this will include the percentage that OP is saying because these traders aren't yet quitting(unless they do).

95% is not realistic for me, maybe 60% is quite acceptable, IMO.
3057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Digibyte extremely undervalued? on: March 20, 2021, 10:07:02 PM
DGB still ignored by the investors and traders, this remains until now and nobody looks at it.

Because if that is worthy, people will buy but there's nothing. DGB will remain undervalued even for the next decade. It is only be rallying high or at hypes, if there is like Elon Musk will do it just like what he did to Dogecoin. But I'm not expecting it because for how many years, it never shows like that and it still remains at the dark side.
3058  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the most anonymous way to own bitcoin? on: March 20, 2021, 09:51:11 PM
Is this the most anonymous way? Buy bitcoin from any exchange. Convert it to monero, send monero to a wallet, and from the wallet swap or exchange it for bitcoin?

Is that basically a way to anonimize your bitcoin? If you buy from most exchanges, they have your info. But once it goes through monero, no one can see anything about where it goes. So when it's traded for bitcoin on your wallet, that could have came from anywhere. There isn't really a way to say where those funds came from right?
Well, using an exchanger will give some hint who you are as they are asking some basic information about you. though it won't directly be pointing you out that you are holding Bitcoin since you are converting it to Monero or any altcoins. However, this never gives you the fullest anonymity. The best thing we do to keep anonymous is to use mixer services, they never ask anything from you and they don't bother to dig who you are.
3059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: March 20, 2021, 09:32:39 PM
its your money after all.

No matter on where and how you do spend it out then its none of others business.

That's true but I like reading comments on how they spend their bitcoin as it could help me realized how valuable it is, I'm not saying it's bad to spend them in gambling because we also need to enjoy, but we have to realized that we are holding a precious asset that could change our life in the future, if we thought that bitcoin will continue to rise in the future due to demand, then we might have to think it will reach a price that people can't imagine so we can be convince to hold longer with confidence.
3060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 20, 2021, 09:20:18 PM
Blackwater will still not improve this season, they release their young players and they have to deal with that, the good thing is there's no high expectation from this team so they can just play like they are a D league team.  Grin

I've honestly seen no seriousness at this franchise since then. Yes, a small company compared to other franchises and hardly can get a big fish but we can see how bad they are with their actions about trading their players especially the key ones.

That's why some people considered them before as a secret farm team because of that actions.

We can't blame the people, they are just frustrated seeing that a team is starting to improve but suddenly their best player is traded. Blackwater and DYIP is very much consistent with that....Hmmm.. I'm bored now, I can't wait to see the season opens as I have more luck in PBA than in NBA.
We don't see any interest with those teams because they haven't proved themselves to be a caliber as a champ. But that soon will change if ever they'll get in even just to the finals.
I'm also bored and it seems that it's a long wait but soon the long wait is going to be over.

Though obviously they will not get into the Finals but as long as they can compete and get some wins, I guess that would be enough to call a team a improve team. Honestly, I like the Blackwater when Ray Parks was playing, especially when they always have an import.

In all Filipino Cup, it's really different as its SMB or Ginebra will dominate as they have the best big man in the league.
