3041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Do You Guys Think About So-Called "Shit-coin" ? on: August 24, 2021, 02:10:06 PM
What do you guys think about this issue ?
Shitcoin is a term used for coins that have no built-in value, these coins or tokens are copycats created to ride the momentum of more popular coins, shitcoins basically have no real purpose this is one of the reasons why almost all shitcoins don't last long.
So far we've only seen a lot of people suffer losses rather than gains during their dealings with shitcoins.

But unfortunately, many investors support and invest in these shitcoins, some overlooked it believe in shills and ride on the FOMO and without looking at the potential and the usefulness of the coin in the market, they are very stubborn on the signs that are showing, all they can see are the profit that they are going to make.

Shitcoins life span is very short and many failed to get out in time, they have nothing to blame but themselves.
3042  Economy / Gambling / Re: [CLOSED] ★BetBTC★ Sportsbook | Bitcoin Sports Betting | Since 2014 on: August 24, 2021, 09:13:46 AM

More importantly, they are processing withdrawals and will exit without a problem rather than other sites that have gone without a trace leaving their users hanging, and then, later on, they will now be tagged as a scam site.

Thank you for everything, BetBTC. Smiley

I wish all the gambling sites that are closing down act like BetBTC, which wants to retain their reputation by announcing their intention to close and giving time to their players to withdraw their funds, in the future if they plan to re open or rebrand, gamblers will welcome them with open arms, they have been here for 7 seven years and it's a big achievement already
3043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 24, 2021, 04:18:45 AM

So it's better for Pacman to quit, no need for him to fight another, nothing to prove, he has cemented his legacy. One of the greatest of all time, regardless of what his critics are going to say in the future. And sure hall of famer as well. If ever he goes to politics and run for the Presidency that is his choice, but he has given us a lot of good fights and wish him the best.

He has nothing to prove anymore on boxing, he is the greatest for me but when it comes to politics I think he will have a huge mountain to climb, surveys don't approve of him running for presidency, he should instead try his luck in the vice presidential race he has a good chance if Duterte has no plan running in that position, I hope he has good luck in politic just like he did in boxing.
3044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know is time to walk? on: August 23, 2021, 01:04:29 PM
I would not know really when, if you really enjoy gambling I guess it's the people around you that will tell you when you need to walk away, gamblers are always in denial they don't want to be stopped on things they enjoy and they are excited on doing, even to do the extend of putting in their fortune, and divorcing their wife, for me, I can always walk away I have self-control and knows my limitation, I'm old enough and knows my priority.

I wonder what could be the outcome if Spence is the one fighting judging from how Pacquiao fights, the vulnerabilities of Pacquiao fighting a big guy show up in this fight, it's time for Pacquiao to retire he changes his life and the many people by his inspiration, the next fight will be a big one and that is the political fight on his country, it's time to move to a much bigger interest and that is the interest of his people.

3049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Gamble as a newbie on: August 21, 2021, 12:25:29 PM
I am a day old in this forum and am understanding some ways in which one can get rewarded and one of such is gambling, but again, one needs to understand the risk involved.

What are your guides from your personal experience of gambling?

My advice to you and to all newbies is to only play with money that you can afford to lose and don't think that you can win against the gambling site there is a house edge where the circumstances favor them to win.

Have fun enjoy the game while it last, not only because you win in your first round of gambling that does not mean that you are lucky in gambling, there's no such thing as a god of gamblers, you can only see that in movies.
3050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who where how much withdrew from no deposit on: August 21, 2021, 09:05:50 AM

blackjack.fun offers pretty good bonuses, for those who have followed it, and have left quite good reviews, many of them have withdrawn the sign-up bonus without the need to make a deposit first. even then when having luck exceeds the minimum withdrawal.

I don't have an account on blackjack.fun and I am not aware of those bonuses but if people can withdraw without deposits they expose themselves to abuse and I doubt if they can keep them up, if people want to withdraw without the need to deposit they will have to do KYC, they should be strict, there are people who want to abuse giveaways and bonuses, they mean well with this bonuses but there's also a lot of disadvantages.
3051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: August 21, 2021, 04:01:21 AM
The fight is back on. My opinion has still not changed. Canelo is many levels above Caleb Plant and I see him winning comfortably. This would be a historic win for Canelo because he would become the first undisputed champion from Mexico.

If he wins plus a couple of defenses against the top name in the middleweight and he will land as the greatest middleweight of all time, I still consider Bernard Hopkins as the best middleweight champion He compiled 20 defenses against 17 opponents he is also the first man to hold all four major sanctioning body titles (WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO) in any division at the same time, Golovkin also has that record but Hopkins was still fighting at 40, now Canelo can break this record judging the way he fights.
3052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Describe your first gambling experience? on: August 20, 2021, 09:06:37 PM
My first gambling experience happens so many years ago and it's a card game called lucky nine, it's a game where every player is playing to comes out with the combination of the highest number and number nine being the highest, it's a very easy game anyone can learn this in a few minutes even children, I was so naive then and  I lose a lot of money, even if it's an easy game if you are not lucky and do not play it well you can lose a lot of money, I don't have a beginner's luck for a very easy game.
3053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: August 20, 2021, 09:44:05 AM

The fight with Caleb is said to be postponed. Its now turned to Bivol vs Canelo next month, it's a short notice for Bivol but I guess its fair because Canelo has to bloat himself for the light heavyweight division. It's shifting to another division that a boxer will experience sudden change.

The fight is officially on after so many delays and failed talk they are finally going at it on Nov 9 for the undisputed super-middleweight title, it will now settle who really is the best MIddleweight on this generation, many will say that Canelo is the best in this generation but all doubts however small should stop after he beats Plant and Plant can now prove that he is a very much different fighter from all Canelo faces in the past, this is going to be one of the biggest events this year.

3055  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC on: August 19, 2021, 10:01:59 AM

Unfortunately, but in a situation where the player claims one thing and the casino the other, and neither side can present evidence, it is difficult to take one side.
I am guided by the fact that, unlike in the past, now 1xBit support responds to all issues on a regular basis and I believe that, like Betcoin.ag, it will rebuild its reputation.
I know that most users are driven by the past now, but I believe that it will change over time.

I am sorry to dash your hope, but these two gambling sites are not going to resolve all the issues here and if they resolve one issue there will be more coming up, the past is haunting them because it is their own fault for scamming so many people so even if they want to build their reputation the mark will not just go overtime, it's right that the community keeps on reminding their bad deeds.
3056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 19, 2021, 05:20:13 AM
Ugas is very durable and has a good chin and might play defence the whole found.
I think ugas has a power strategy to beat manny, In my opinion Ugas  nowadays double his training in order to beat the x Champ. But we will see this upcoming august 21 our all questions will be answered.

He may have a good chin to withstand punches but it cannot stand once Manny find angles on their encounters, Manny is very good at finding angles and still has lightning speed punches, we'll see a lot of clinches coming from Ugas I don't think he can use his height as his advantages, Manny is so good at closing the distance that Ugas have to either clinch or get it on with Manny, I think there will be a lot of surprise in this fight.

3058  Other / Off-topic / Re: Images, Google, Youtube, showing about gambling in Saudi Arabia. on: August 18, 2021, 11:31:37 PM
Hello: Bitcointalk community.

However, if you look again at Youtube, they (the Arabs) are actually playing real casino gambling.

So, that makes me curious and wondering about the casino gambling on Youtube and the google image is true or a hoax....!
What is the response about Islamic countries and their laws prohibiting gambling, but the opposite.

Note: Youtube (gambling in saudi arabia) you can search for yourself i have no right to display it here.

The picture or images does not represent the real events that took place here is the caption on one of the pictures displayed on Good research

Quote
As per news from Saudi media, almost 12.000 people gathered to attend Saudi Arabia’s first card-tournament, and the game is known as ‘Baloot’. There is no gambling involved as the game is more of an international sport and does not involve players exchanging money, as it is done in gambling games.

It may look that they are gambling but they are playing a traditional card game that does not involve trading money a senior cleric is hosting the event, he will not let gambling to happen in an even t he is hosting it's against Muslim laws.
3059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling or playing? on: August 18, 2021, 10:39:39 PM
I am sure most of you have played videogames of one short or another and many have noticed that may offer gambling in-game options - I am thinking mostly of Role Games and MMPORGs -  like implementing a casino or some short of fortune game. As an old example, Fallout New Vegas has an in-built game called Caravans, but you can play blackjack, roulette, etc... Newer games that are free to play or cheap to play offer lotteries that award prices such as unique or rare in-game items...

There is currently quite an effort on using these techniques in games that should not be about gambling or chances playing and some people may find undesirable. Is this going too far? What type of effect may this game on underaged players?

This will have a bad effect on children being exposed to betting that will lead them to gamble and end up in casinos, parents should check what's on the game site that their children are playing and they should be aware of the existence of these fortune games, it's ok for adults they can handle this thing, but not for children, they should be the one to pick what gaming site should their children are playing to avoid a bad repercussion to their children.
3060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to distinguish scam? on: August 18, 2021, 11:01:03 AM
I think any project that requires money to invest has risks and the possibility of fraud.
So it’s safe for us to find one project-nearly zero cost project.

Almost 90% are fraud and destined to fail, you can distinguish them if they are giving unrealistic profits and promises, they are faking their profiles so people cannot trace them they are afraid to show their real face because they are planning to run away with investor's money, they also have a fake whitepaper, fake location everything are all fake, if you think something is wrong on the project you are intended to invest do not proceed.
