The exchange is developing its own blockchain to allow the integration of different networks. CEO Ivan Poon said: “We are currently in the development phase of enabling blockchains’ interoperability to activate cross-chain trading. Because each blockchain runs on its own unique protocol and, there is no current technology that facilitate their interaction with one another.”

The launch has been called ‘Callisto’ (probably after the moon of Jupiter, not the mythological Greek figure who was tricked into sex and then turned into a bear), and the company says that its newfound ability to operate on more than one blockchain will allow it to compete with larger financial entities.
Said Poon: “The rollout of Callisto is a significant milestone for us. Our users can now trade on two different blockchains while retaining ownership of their funds. They will no longer need to create trading accounts on different exchanges, thus lessening their risks of getting hacked.”
Switcheo will initially list 22 trading pairs, including Ethereum tokens.

Ich dachte bisher immer, dass IOTA komplett ohne Coordinator auskommen möchte/würde, aber der Vorschlag oben wäre ja dann so etwas wie ein distributed Coordinator (wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe). ja und ja, es wäre immerhin kein single point of failure mehr, aber sicherlich nicht dass, was immer gewollt war, aber vielleicht ein erster Schritt, wenn's denn gar nicht anders geht... |

bei mir ist BNB noch hoch im plus und hält sich noch sehr wacker, gegensatz zu den anderen alts. XTZ ist nun unter dem ICO preis zu bekommen IOTA ist ebenso sehr billig im angebot War Tezos nicht um 50 Cent? IOTA finde ich auch günstig, mal sehen was die nächsten Tage passiert . A year ago TitanCoin was launched on the Byteball platform. Both you and Steve Safronov were attached to the project then -- and still are right now per their website -- and despite the fact that they seemed to know nothing about crypto I took it on trust that it was legit and made an investment. I then spent dozens of hours on Slack trying to sort out the crypto details with them.
A year later it seems that they STILL know nothing about crypto (see my comments on their Slack channel re 3-way peg between TC/fixed $200 price/free float on exchange). What's the deal? Why have your names been attached to this cluster**** of a project when you seem to have had zero oversight/input into it?

It was the first ICO on Byteball platform and they naturally needed our help. We also wanted to learn the needs and hear feedback of ICO projects to be able to improve based on this experience. They were new to crypto and the 3-way peg (it was 1 TC = 1 GB = 1 kg of ilmenite concentrate at that time, as far as I remember) was one of the stupid things I advised them not to do. But it is their project and I was only an adviser.
Since we were actually advising them at that time, it felt natural to allow them to publicly announce the fact and list us as advisors. That was a mistake. Because many people saw it as an endorsement. In all subsequent ICOs, we were much more cautious and didn't allow to list us as advisors even though our role was similar. I just checked the titan coin website and found that our names are still there despite we asked them to remove.
That said, the project has real people behind it and they are not hiding, they claim to have real assets backing their obligations and the last time I heard from them they were going to build the titan processing facilities as initially planned.
rename... Is there any chance of a re-brand & renaming of the project?
Byteballs sounds catchy and is easy to remember and all, but especially among the large group of the world population who use English as their/a second language, it is a name that's hard to take seriously.
Would be a bit like CleavageCoin...

Ich denke da hast Du vollkommen Recht. Aber naja, sind wir ehrlich... wir haben ja die ganze Zeit nach dem institutionellen Geld gerufen, und die wissen einfach wie der Hase läuft... So schmerzhaft der Einstieg jetzt ist, so sehr freue ich mich auf den nächsten Bullrun der ja dann kommen muss und ich hoffe innständig, dass er nicht zu lange auf sich warten lässt. Ich hatte nen Versionswechsel verschlafen und musste meine Node dann wieder Aktualisieren und neu starten, seit dem habe ich keine Rewards mehr bekommen, obwohl die Node läuft, ich hatte bislang noch keine Zeit und Muse mich darum zu kümmern. Ich habe ehrlich gesagt auch keine Idee, woran es liegen könnte, die Node läuft um "Echt" Netz, und aktualisiert immer brav die Blöcke, und wird auch als Connected mit der richtigen Version angezeigt. Nur sind eben seit ca. 2 Woche keine Rewards eingetroffen, vielleicht muss ich noch warten... Jedenfalls wird sie fleißig mit Junkassets zugemüllt Es gab übrigens 15k und mWn läuft das Programm, aber es gab eine Deadline zur Aufnahme in das Programm.
