Just as a FYI, it seems as though this version is about 18-20% faster then EWBF's release at stock settings. 360 vs 300 on EWBF.

What card @360 sols/s stock ? 1080 ?

1070, funny thing is that the profit is the same as before
3042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Place for your mining rigs on: December 24, 2016, 11:22:47 AM
well a rig don't occupy that much of a space, especially if you stack them up

isn't better for you to charge a % on the hosting instead? like 5-10% on the total revenue of the hosted rigs?

what about trust? how can we trust you?

What's the speed on the 1060 3gb?
the boost speed is 15%, so around 250 sol at best

I get 225 sol@60 watt with release 1.03b

yeah it's around 15% not exactly 15, so 250 is a good estimate in your case, same wattage

are you sure about 60 watt?

Stock GTX 1070 = 360 Sol/s @ 150 W
OC GTX 1070 (clock @ 2050, mem @ 4500) = 410 Sol/s @ 170 W

you are doing it wrong i'm getting 375 sol at 100watt and with 150 you have 430 sol

35% more expensive for 35% more hash.  We know.  You are not unleashing secrets here...

wrong, cost double of a 470 but it hash at double the speed or near that, the difference is the efficiency which is far greater
3046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NiceHash EQM Zcash NVIDIA optimized miner [Maxwell/Pascal] + CPU mining v1.0.3b on: December 24, 2016, 09:33:52 AM
EQM v1.0.4a NEW

Download:
https://www.nicehash.com/tools/eqm_v1.0.4a_Win64.zip

NOTE:
This version only works for SM52 and SM61 capable cards (that means only 9xx and 10xx cards). No speedups for GTX 750 (Ti).
In case of CUDA error, miner now quits, so your restart script can easily pick that up and do a restart.

nice boost getting 375 sol, 100watt, surely better than 410 with a 1080 and 110watt

my core is floating around 1700
3047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Using solar power to run a mining setup?? on: December 24, 2016, 06:58:12 AM
off grid is not convenient in the end, you need battery which are expensive and last 10 years

you will end up pying your electricity in advance, and it's pointless if you have less than 10cent electricity anyway

on grid may have a reason, but the solar pannel need to be positioned in the best place where there is more sun activity, so cold place are not advisable

and even then it was calculated that 1kwh for example only cover you for 3 hours a day
3048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: December 24, 2016, 06:56:06 AM
zcash diff isn't stable once again it's returned to the previous level 800k, it was not certainly because of etheruem

probably many miners from different coins jumped in
3049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Looking like the ZEC party is over on: December 23, 2016, 07:28:51 PM
well the profit is always the same, the diff is catching up quickly, actually worst just now, and by looking at the daily supply cap it's very difficult to even reach 0.1 per zec

Amazing Cheesy

So whats your location / electricity price?!
Location is Tbilisi and the electricity price is classified Cheesy 0.05$

That's just awesome ! I'm considering more and more each day to turn on back my rigs in another country, for let's say something like a year. But moving all my stuff would be painly so better would be to buy directly in the place. Is price the same than us for the components ?
It would be hard to find big amounts of AMD cards on place, even I imported almost anything.
I'm working on a project to build environment with air cooling and conditioning and all other necessary stuff, will you be really interested in moving to another country and paying like 5cents per kwh with no limit on it and plus the rent of the place ?

are you considering hosting possibility? i could be interested if possible, to consider buying some rigs(not many, 3-5) that will work there, but the big problem would be always the trust

I have a friend with gigabyte gtx 1070 g1 gaming , with power limit 70% mem clock + 100mhz gpu clock + 50mhz , have only 295 sol .

Version 6 .

Any settings for boost is appreciated .

mem should be higher, around 400 at least

this is my: 55%, 150 core, and 400 mem, but you try 500 or 600 mem, it should do 323 sol with 100 watt

My friend with + 150 mem have crashed , 70% or 50% PL have same problem . I dont understand why , i think micron memory or bios .

for Zcash it's better to OC core, the memory OC doesn't do alot, set it around +600 but core around +150, also for micron based memory GTX 1070 cards, please check that you are @ the latest bios, most card had the default nvidia bios bug with the micron chip that was doing some voltage instability for memory, it was fixed by card manufacturer bios when fix was released (evga, asus, gigabyte, and so on) and last remember to give a little bit more juice to the core to make it stable. (~15-20% should do the trick).

Also take your time to manually OC each card of your rig, some will always perform better than others, will help you grind a few more sols there & there and achieve best stability Smiley

im @ the moment in my latest configuration

6x GTX 1070 EVGA FTW - Drivers 376.19

Core +150 (real core ~1870Mhz)
vCore +15%
Mem +675 (real core ~4470Mhz)
TDP 50% (~91w per card, 692w on wall)

Pushing around 1990 Sols/s (~331 sols/s per card) on average with about 0.15 % reject overall.

Happy mining

are you sure about the 692 at the wall with each gpu doing only 91, your system is sitting at 150w? seems too much, most likely your gpu are consuming more or the the whole wattage is wrong

There is a difference between what nvidia SMI is showing you, and what you get on the wall, because your PSU isn't 100% efficient, i have 2x 80+ gold 750w PSU's, @about 40% load each so even @ maximum PSU efficiency it's about 90% efficient (@50% load) so nvidia SMI show 91w, it means for each cards about 91 + 10% = ~100w @ wall counting PSU efficiency for each cards, so system+fans are more sitting in the area of 80/90w, starting wattage @ wall is about 130w, before any mining. Guess i should have mentionned it was nvidia SMI mesurements. I posted a screenshot before showing it, will edit my post.

it's more about your efficiency because i have the same wattage at the wall, but my smi show aroung 95-100 watt consumption for each gpu, which is right

I see, it's strange you get the same wattage @ the wall do you have a titanium certified PSU or something ? That seems really efficient.

Here is a new screenshot of my smi

it's a rm1000i efficiency is at 92%, not titanium just gold but a very good gold psu, it can go up to 1100watt

Here is what you will get soon (tomorrow?):

Stock GTX 1070 = 360 Sol/s @ 150 W
OC GTX 1070 (clock @ 2050, mem @ 4500) = 410 Sol/s @ 170 W
Efficient GTX 1070 (TDP 50%, mem @ 4500) = 330 Sol/s @ 95 W

i think you can tweak it with the PL to have better consumptionm because 360 150watt is far worse than the currently 320 sol 100 watt

can you try reducing the power limit?

Do you believe you can push it even more? Smiley Maybe over 400 sols for the 1070?

Yep, latest version in development does more than 400 on overclocked 1070 with almost same power usage. But still trying some tricks before we do any release.

GO GO GO !!!!!!  Grin
kill the ATI abomination!

still waiting for other troll in the clymore thread that will claim amd is faster, at 400+ sol, even a 470 with its cheap price is pointless against a 1070 with double the speed and same wattage

Any other results on v6? I seem to be getting slightly less performance on 1070. Will have to test more after work.

I had it just stop mining on 2 pcs.. No error.  When I clicked back inside the command prompt, it started again.

so no reason to upgrade to v6 only bug fixes? i'm waiting for the speed increase, i know it's still possible, my gpu usage, ranges from 90 to 95%
3058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ethereum mining on: December 22, 2016, 02:52:47 PM
Not really possible, unless your VPS has access to GPU natively (GPU pass through)...

if using a GPU, whether it can still be to mine ethereum?

you need powerful gpu  not old amd model, if that is what you are planning for forget it it will be only a waste of time and money

standard proof of work is still the best one, hybrid may also work but as long as you have pow you are fine, all other are trash and just a way to scam people

you missed my point i never said that they were good, just that you can avoid their problems by adding additional fan so they can run at lower speed

but this is not true in winter where you can leave them at lower speed regardless, it wasn't so hard to understand....
