3061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: March 26, 2021, 07:16:44 AM
The german national team did ok yesterday and especially the first half time was great to watch with a lot of speed straigtforwardness to the goal.
If you look at the german midfield players with Kimmich, Goretzka, Sane, Gnabry, Havertz and Gündogan than you can probably say that there is no team with better individual midfield players.
The defense still looks a little shaky though.
3062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT are safeheaven on: March 26, 2021, 06:54:07 AM
USDT are safe heaven.
Its stable and Main Reason are its not a dollar.
So anything happens with USA dollar You got USDT You safe.
Usdc works too.
So I guess first cbdc approved currency Will be USDT.

Don't be to careless with your USDT though because Tether is always surrounded by this rumours or concerns that since 2 years or so not every UDST that they are printing is covered by a real USD anymore.
In 2019 they switched their statement from "every UDST printed is covered 1:1 by real USD" to "we have enough reserves to cover all of the USDT.
But they did not show a proof yet of these reserves.
So many think that for example USDC is safer than USDT because it belongs to a big exchange which is regularly audited and checked.
3063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: March 25, 2021, 07:48:19 PM
I am not a die hard UFC but this fight gets me hyped, especially after their first fight.  Smiley
Going into their first fight back then i thought that miocic would have no chance because ngannou knocked the hell out of his opponents in his 10 fights before he faced miocic.
But then during their first fight everyone could see what a great fighter miocic is and how he dominated ngannou. Miocic needs to be careful though.. 1 punch from ngannou and he is out cold.
3064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: March 25, 2021, 01:58:51 PM
Since the big 3 will be out of the Miami Open, who do think that has a good chance to win this tournament? It's going to be a good opportunity for others in the top 10 to break in the winning column here.

For one, Medvedev should be a good candidate here and so is Zverev and Tsitsipas. But there are also a lot of good players in this pandemic, outside of the top 5 or top 10 that can pull a surprise here.

I think that there is a high chance that both zverev and tsitsipas will reach the final of this tournament. If this happens it would be a rematch of the final of acapulco which zverev won 2-0.
But on their way to the final there are a lot of other strong players that they need to beat first. Medvedev as you mentioned, but also Dimitrov, Fognini, Bautista Augut, Goffin, Schwartzmann and many more.
Even if the Big 3 are not participating there are still a lot of top players in this tournament.
3065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The next PoW project - #Raptoreum on: March 25, 2021, 01:01:41 PM
Good luck with your project OP but i think nowadays you really need a unique selling point to have at least a theoritical chance to attract users to use your Blockchain instead of others that are already existing.
Or you need to be happy that a famous youtuber or something like that talks about your project.
I see you already have a few small influencers which discussed your project and you are already listed on some small exchanges. Maybe that helps you to establish yourself on the market.
3066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ FIFA World Cup 2022: Qatar on: March 25, 2021, 10:13:52 AM
RESULTS SO FAR:

Turkey 4-2 Netherlands
Belgium 3-1 Wales
Cyprus 0-0 Slovakia
Estonia 2-6 Czech Republic
Finland 2-2 Bosnia and Herzegovina
France 1-1 Ukraine
Gibraltar 0-3 Norway
Latvia 1-2 Montenegro
Malta 1-3 Russia
Portugal 1-0 Azerbaijan
Serbia 3-2 Republic of Ireland
Slovenia 1-0 Croatia

St. Kitts and Nevis vs Puerto Rico
Antigua and Barbuda vs Montserrat
Suriname vs Cayman Islands
Dominican Republic vs Dominica

The wins of turkey over the Netherlands and of Slovenia over croatia were probably the biggest surprises of this matchday. Also France only managing to achieve a draw against the ukraine is also very surprising given the fact that france was completely dominant and ukraine didn't have a real goal chance during the whole game. Therefore france had to score an owngoal to make it a draw. Still france should have no problem to through in their group because ukraine was already their hardest opponent.
3067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🔥🔥All about Bounty for Newbies🔥🔥 on: March 25, 2021, 09:12:13 AM
I would also add that, when you are dealing with bounties of new altcoin projects, probably the most important step is to do your research if the project is even worth your time.
Check the website of the project, read their whitepaper to find out what the project wants to achieve. Check if they already had a successful seed sale or private sale round. Check the tokenomics and the usecase of the token.
If it's just a copy and paste token that nobody would pay real money for than it doesn't matter if you get 1000 of this coins through the bounty.
3068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: March 24, 2021, 02:08:37 PM
I follow the NBA only on the sidelines but i what i really like about this league is that teams that were weak last season can be really strong in the next season, which is exciting.  Smiley
Just look at the brooklyn nets. I don't think that they were being called a candidate for the NBA title once in the last 10 seasons, but now they are so strong.
The tables of the european football (soccer) leagues are way more consistent in comparison.

You can make an exemption on the Nets as they have a new starters, they have a big 3 (harden, Durant, and Irving), just like the Suns also, they have Chris Paul so they also improve this season. The only team that does not have a lot of stars and we've seen some improvement this season is the NY Knicks.

And how is it possible that they can afford to hire 3 top guys at once? I thought there are salary caps in the NBA? Have those top guys agreed to earn less in order to be able to win the championship together, like nowitzki did while he was still playing for the mavericks?
Also as far as i know there are not such big transfers between clubs like in european football where one club has to pay 100 Million for a top player as transfer fee.

3070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best crypto projects on: March 24, 2021, 11:43:26 AM
Hello , I'm a bitcoin, eth, polkadot, binance holder but I would like to invest in other cryptocurrencies.
What's your favourite altcoin gems? Please try to explain your opinion.
Let's find the next 10X project  Cool
No crypto scam please.

Thank you

The 4 cryptocurrencies you already hold are basically the 4 top projects right now. I mean Bitcoin is obviously king and will always remain that but also your altcoins are good and safe picks already which should all do well in the future if the whole market doesn't collapse.
So maybe you want to take a little more risk with your next investment and invest into a newer project that did not make a x10 or x100 yet like those projects you already own. The chance of picking the wrong project and loosing your money i way higher this way though of course.
3071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: First time scammed , very frustrated on: March 24, 2021, 10:11:29 AM
There is a start for everything , so i just get first time scammed and hope last time.
Since few times i follow polkadot env and liked their projects especially polkastarter . it's like the ico's for projects to raise money . I wanted to participate to one of them and got whitelisted to superfarm ($super) to buy in the presale at a good price but sended 0.25 eth to wrong adress . yes i'm little bit dumb they made a clone of their official telegram channel and i get caught . usually i don't do that but we all do mistakes .

the adress of the scammer : 0xC88b5F4aaE1C8f2778DEF2257b6bAf1BA62E4B09

i hope he will die  with a cancer . i lost $447.83USD that's 50% of my humble portfolio and i worked hard to put this money in . i know that there is nothing i can do and i feel little bit down but that's life assholes are everywhere . Whitout this scammers cryptocurrency and the world would be better .

So just a little thought for me . good luck and get your money safe

Sorry to hear that OP. 450$ is a significant amount for most of us including me.
Telegram is a place where you can gather a lot of infos about crypto projects but also a very dangerous place.
Always Remember: A real admin will never send you a private messag first with a chance for direkt investment or something like that those are always scammers.
Now with all those exclusive launchpads that are having the hottest new projects exclusively we also have to deal with cloned telegram groups like you did.
3072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tether the Best Stable Coin on: March 23, 2021, 06:52:22 PM
Like others in here already mentioned, we can not be quite sure that every USDT that is minted is backed by a real USD anymore.
In 2019 they said they have enough reserves to cover all the Tethers printed but they didn't show any proof for that.
USDC on the other hand is part of a big exchange and therefore gets audited and checked regularly and you can feel more secure about it in my opinion.
3073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New to this... What's causing the current selloff? on: March 23, 2021, 02:06:29 PM
I see my portfolio has lost around 5% over the past couple of hours. So I searched the internet expecting to find some kind of explanation to no avail. I figured another govt issued a negative statement regarding crypto or something. But that doesn't seem to be the case. If anything, the news stories about crypto seem to be positive today. So can anyone tell me what causes dips like this?

As you said yourself you are new to crypto so if you stick around long enough you will get used to daily price movements of +-5% or more pretty quickly.  Smiley
I also don't know any particular reason why the price droppe a little the last two days but you need to remember that we had a nice positive trend overall during the lats few months so it's no wonder that from time to time there are small corrections.
I would say the market as a whole is still in a sideways movement at the moment.
3074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: March 23, 2021, 01:32:19 PM
Who think they will win FC Porto vs Chelsea FC?

Personally, although Chelsea is theoretically stronger, it is an accessible adeversary for Porto to have the possibility of overtaking.

For me personally chealsea is the 90/10 favorite in this match up maybe a few weeks ago before tuchel came it would have been closer but since tuchel took the lead of chelsea they managed to be unbeaten in 14 games in a row whichis pretty impressive.
Chelsea has the stronger individual players and now they also have momentum and are in great shape too, that's why i am pretty sure that chelsea will advance into the next round.
3075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you picky with ICOs? on: March 23, 2021, 11:55:05 AM
So far, I haven't seen any new projects funded by the ICO method.

It's true that nowadays tradidtion ICO's are kinda dead, where a project raises all of the needee funds in 1 big public sale with amounts of 10M$+.
At the moment every hot new project starts on launchpads like DuckDao, Poolz, PolkaStarter and so on. To enter this launchpads you have to hold a certain amount of the specific token therefore these launchpads are pretty exclusive but very lucrative.
After those launchpads sales, most projects still do a tiny public sale but most of the time with only 1% of the total supply so it's always very hard to get into these public sales.
3076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Teams on your personal blacklist on: March 23, 2021, 11:38:41 AM
I don't have a blacklist yet also i am only betting from time to time on football games (soccer for americans) in the big european leagues and i am pretty confident that there is no manipulation going on.
But i have to say even though i also like to watch esports like Dota 2, CSGO and Rocket league i have never betted on those games yet because there i am still afraid of manipulation.
So you could basically say all E-sports teams are on my blacklist  Smiley
3077  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: Radix Sale Update & Liquidity Mining Rewards on: March 22, 2021, 12:25:16 PM

3078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Investing on: March 22, 2021, 09:40:12 AM
I’d like to get some opinions on Altcoin investing strategy. Here’s where I’m upto.

1.   Only invest 1% of portfolio
2.   Take out initial stake after 3x gain
3.   What about taking further profits, selling out completely? I’ve read that altcoins will lose 60-90% of their value when altcoin bubble bursts.

1. do you mean 1% of your total portfolio including estate, fiat and so on? then yes 1% seems ok, if you are talking about 1% of your crypto portfolio than it seems wrong.
2. that depends on you. i mean x3 is already great but you could be also really mad when you sell at x3 and the coin does another 10x from that point on, so it's hard to give a recommendation there
3. i don't think we have a altcoin bubble at the moment, btc dominance is still above 60 %
3079  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: [Diskussion] - [ICO] Block Collider - Mineable multi-chain protocol on: March 21, 2021, 09:39:10 PM

3080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens??? on: March 21, 2021, 01:46:22 PM
Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens? or it is good for a very certain time of investment?

Investing in new projects is of course associated with a big risk, especially in the crypto environment, but of course you also have a higher chance to multiply your investment if you choose the right new project to invest in compared to an investment in well established projects.
Finding the right new project to invest is the hard part though especially in times like these where every day new projects pop up and of course only a fragment of them will be successful in the end.
