Great plan, it's not like much of the world's production is there now. Doing just that will without a doubt make X currency valuable!

Even if it were possible, it would just do the contrary.
3062  Economy / Gambling / Re: A non-martingale PrimeDice script! So far so good! on: September 08, 2017, 05:19:42 PM
The idea for posts and videos like this one is to milk the donations. Any settings has near 50% chance of doubling your balance after all, so, some of the users, the lucky ones that succeed, might donate after it "worked" for them. There's also the possibility of earning from referrals with these.

Anyone that can figure out a method to bring the house down could be doing just that themselves. Why bother making posts like this one and try to get donations now?
3063  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: ClaimBTC - Free 1000 - 3000 satoshi in every 30 minutes on: September 08, 2017, 05:04:54 PM
checked someone, pays or not?

Check my earlier post, there's clear intention to mislead here. Although the OP deleted the reply and the post I quoted there, what can be seen there should be enough.
3064  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: ClaimBTC - Free 1000 - 3000 satoshi in every 30 minutes on: September 08, 2017, 08:23:49 AM
I don't know if this is a SCAM or LEGIT site but I've just received my first payout

Thank you for your support.
We have sent 500 satoshi into your account!

How do you know which one is their account from that?

Also, how did they accumulate that within 20 mins of the announcement?

Funny how both things you mention work very similarly. And yet.
3066  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you in favor of same sex marriage? on: August 08, 2017, 07:05:50 AM
Marriage is contract between individuals. If I'm not among the ones involved in this contract, why should I care? It's their choice. Alone.
3067  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe in god? on: August 08, 2017, 06:56:29 AM
A better question: There might be one, or not, but why would a god even need belief?
3068  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is taxation theft? on: August 08, 2017, 06:47:04 AM
The idea of taxation as theft is a viewpoint found in a number of political philosophies. Under this view, government transgresses property rights by enforcing compulsory tax collection.

On the other hand governments play a large role in allowing such property rights. It wouldn't be anywhere as efficient in a world without centralization where everyone's fending for themselves.

Probably good if they are in areas like Vegas, elsewhere I don't think so.
3070  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Future of Gambling on: August 08, 2017, 04:06:25 AM
A nice site with a variety of games and a promise of many more to come. Surely there's going to be one for everyone.

The look is clean and pleasing, even if a bit too bright. The avatars are particularly cute.

Congrats on the inauguration.

3071  Economy / Economics / Re: Why not just print dollars? on: July 22, 2017, 02:50:46 AM
Maybe this is not the extent that things are happening these days, but it is sort of the direction we are heading to. The lovely thing about bitcoin is its capped supply limit, which will ensure that bitcoin retains its value while its popularity is growing at the same time.

That would only be so if it were the only currency, and production somehow managed to at least sustain. The first seems impossible, while the second isn't likely if the first happens.

The limited supply does help its speculative value atm, but the "cap" is only there for itself. We are without limits when it comes to alts popping up.
3072  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: July 22, 2017, 01:54:02 AM
i am sure that billionaires invest their money in btc but i am not sure that they will tell to public. they have money to invest, they can buy much of bitcoin without other people know. if they invest in btc since the price is lower, then now they will make big profit because if they only buy 100 btc at $500-$700, imagine how much the money they can get and it is a lot of money for other people.

Some of them got in when the price was much lower. It wouldn't be surprising if they were holding upwards of 200k.

Not that they need to be richer when they own industry, private islands and jets, etc. Money is a small fraction of the whole.
3073  Economy / Economics / Re: Why not just print dollars? on: July 22, 2017, 01:28:44 AM
Printing more dollars just adds to the inflation.

Your dollar will continue to be worth less and less as more is printed. They are printing dollars and using part of it to pay off debt for sure.

You better believe it. Since the FED was founded the dollar hs devalued by over 97%. Think of it in terms of this, think of how bad it would be it Bitcoin went from being worth 2,300 USD down to 2.3 USD. That is how bad the Dollar has been.

That's the funniest thread ever, I've seen so far. I thoght people learn something about the economy in high school as well. Printing dollars only results a huge inflation which will trigger a serious world economic crysis. Nothing else. Inflation kills the economy.

It does surprise how people miss that alternate currency gaining valuation has this effect as well. Merchandise cost is adjusted to total currency flowing towards it. These coins add to the dollar, and else, that's already in circulation.

The reason this looming inflation beast still lies in wait is not only due to its current lack of circulation, but also the market valuation for the whole not yet being terribly large. For now.

Currency of any flavor being added to a world with other currency can only add to inflation. What can cause deflation, instead, is having an excess supply of useful products.

Having a bit of inflation might even be for the best, but we are talking about going from somewhat high inflation into monstrous inflation here. The adjustments will be paid by those that least can afford it.
3074  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: July 22, 2017, 12:32:10 AM
Bitcoin is not able to overcome poverty in the country because i think bitcoin can only help the financial needs of some individuals and bitcoin has nothing to do with poverty but to reduce poverty i think it could. IMO
Imagine if bitcoin is used by all the poor people in the world and surely all of them will benefit from business and jobs in bitcoin and it will improve their financially and it will release them from poverty? But of course it is impossible for all poor people to use bitcoin

Read my posts above.

I'm afraid it's more likely it to further increase the divide between the top end and everything below.
3075  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Existence on: July 21, 2017, 11:07:10 PM
Unknown and completely out of our grasp to figure that one out. We just are for what it concerns us, and individually we are because our predecessors bred.

Is there a point to all this?
Probably not. Most likely not.
3076  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: July 21, 2017, 10:54:47 PM
I might be wrong but the most people at this forum are getting an extra income from companies that are advertising their services, soo the only thing being made is distribution of money, because when you buy someone is selling as the reverse, and with mining well you will need to pay the bills, soo the ecosystem does generate and distributes money to all. Sure for some people they are able to survive and get a better life with signatures earnings as well trading, but in the end bitcoin inst creating more money, but its putting it into circulation.

Although many of them will fail, it still is so. The pump and dump schemes, as terrible as they are, wouldn't add much to this snowball.

Even assuming that the alts and tokens stops multiplying, and even the "mining" of current ones ended, with just the increase of the value of the existing pool, it would still be the equivalent of more money coming in for what concerns the whole ecosystem. One of the popular coins gaining a market cap of 10 trillions is the equivalent of printing that much cash and putting it into circulation. This is all due to the liquid potential, something that gold/silver don't have. For the time being just potential, but it could pose major problems when it does get unleashed. They aren't coming into a world with no currency, but attaching to one that had plenty of it, albeit with improvements.

That globally, as individuals we got to survive somehow. It is what it is.

Haha, I am sure that bitcoin can never end the poverty. The poverty exists from the beginning of the humankind and if you want to end poverty, join the Communist Wink and it does not exist at all. Communism is a big liar

Humans often aren't nice to each other when there's no common threat, we turn on each other and are perfectly willing to take a bigger slice at the suffering of others.
3077  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's the big difference of communism to terrorism? on: July 21, 2017, 08:42:22 PM
There can be a difference between what the label says and the actual contents.

The concept of Communism isn't bad, same for true democracy or anarchy and others. The problem lies in that it's impossible to properly implement them in our current world. Particularly with the current version of us humans.

China, for example, is not communist, but an authoritarian rule that practices state capitalism. The idea, they say, is that their current scheme paves the way towards the ideal communist society. You might not like them for whatever reason, but I'd say they do appear to be on track.
3078  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Vaccinated vs. Unvaccinated: Guess who is Sicker? on: July 21, 2017, 08:12:18 PM
That one's interesting, but chemotherapy is just commonly used term for cancer treatment with drugs. That's still a type of chemotherapy.

Clickbait media.

No reason to, and I try to judge people for the individuals they are.
