3061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why all the coins are getting cheaper? on: March 28, 2014, 12:18:26 PM
Hi
I am wondering why all the altcoins in which we trusted last year and hoping for them to go to the moon are getting cheaper it seems like a miracle needs to happen to change something

BR,

Gondel

Because of the mania of buying every new and overvalued coins and IPOs.

3062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did one man crash the entire crypto world today ? on: March 28, 2014, 01:46:31 AM

1 man only?  Grin I doubt. Especially that it was BCX.

At the exchanges the hashing power is not so powerful and important. But rising hashing power can limit the arrival of new coins to the exchanges, limit supply and by the imbalance of the supply and the demand consequently produce the price growth. All of that is temporary only.

If you suspect BCX's hashing power produce price fall, it is not true. The lack of the BCX's hashing power can produce the fall of the prices Smiley This is more possible because of the miners always dump their coins no matter of the price.

3063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN is DEAD. on: March 28, 2014, 01:16:10 AM
Trolls encouraging weak hands to sell cheap BTC. Some people deserve to lose their money.

Problem is they encouraged weak hands to buy quite expensive BTC too. I hope many of weak hands will not sell too much BTC to them.

3064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | cPoW | PC mining | Fast Distribution | Stability - on: March 28, 2014, 01:06:25 AM

At this topic there is list of stores and services for spending altcoins https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=273148.0

Quark is quite rarely used coin in that list. Quark deserves much more!

3065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will 1000 colossuscoin reach 1 US$ one day? on: March 28, 2014, 12:46:27 AM
I hope soon 1COL=1BTC

Thanks

Only 1 BTC for 1 COL? Smiley

3066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [ANN][FORBIDDEN][SECRET] Fairly Distributed Coins on: March 28, 2014, 12:37:26 AM
More times I heard the term fairly distributed coins. They considered that price should rise if coin is fairly distributed. I think I disagree with that.

What does it mean the term fairly distributed coins? Which is its influence on the price? Tell your opinions.

I don't respect big premines, IPOs and overrated new coins (almost all of them) only.
3067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin be at 10 000$ if it was ASIC proof? on: March 28, 2014, 12:26:22 AM
It would be more chances, if there are no ASICs... Then it would be fairly distributed.

Even scrypt-coins that starts now not fairly distributed. Because somebody already have 200+ Mh/s versus your 1-10 MH/s at the start. So, this year will be interesting for everybody who mine cryptocoins.

What does it mean term fairly distributed coins? Which is its influence on the price?

3068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ** UNDERRATED ALT-COINS ** on: March 27, 2014, 10:16:11 PM
Everything I'm holding lol jk jk but for real.... MINT!!!

oh, no no. My coins and only my coins are so underrated Smiley Yours are underrated only if I buy them and only after that moment Smiley

3069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ** UNDERRATED ALT-COINS ** on: March 27, 2014, 10:13:22 PM
BTC - not altcoin. but should be mentioned as undervalued

DOGE
- i like the fundraising projects they do. they have wide coverage on services

LEAF
- they work slow but still working at it and probably have some huge news soon ( they said a couple of times, but seems there is a deadline )
- helps saving rainforest. i believe these devs. one of them is a nature activist.

MINT
- target might be 50 in a couple of months

I don't see how btc is undervalued....

The Winklevoss twins said it would peak at between $20,000 and $30,000.  They see it as undervalued at present.

Who are they? I want their glasses. Smiley

If I say the bottom is about zero (10000 BTC for pizza:) ), does it mean Bitcoins are so much overvalued? Or just too much overvalued than undervalued? Smiley

3070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Bitcoin crashes, so do... on: March 27, 2014, 10:04:58 PM

Bitcoin is very far from crashing at this moment.

Still.

What will the future bring?

3071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The point of cryptos is sadly being destroyed on: March 27, 2014, 09:58:19 PM
The free market has the choice to select the good from the bad.
The ones who get burnt will be be the newbies, which is bad for the crypto community.

We need someway to protect the newbies from these scam coins, if we want the community and adoption to grow.

Assuming people can't protect themselves and by some ways doing it for them seems quite fascist to me.
I say let them learn from their mistakes, that's the only way we can build a free and prosperous economy.

By my opinion people cannot protect themselves.

They are gamblers or they are manipulated by scammers or big players. Protecting them is not fascistic. "Free market" is never free but it might be fascistic (or social-darwinistic).

Good way to selfprotect is not to buy everything new and mostly very overpriced. I don't know where does that mania of buying something new and very overpriced comes from?

I think I should open new simple topic Smiley

3072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEW][ANN] Where will Bitcoin bottom this winter 2013/14 and why? on: March 27, 2014, 06:02:39 PM
It will bottom at < $100, but only for a millisecond and then shoot right back up. Already, you can see signs of HFT coming, just look at previous bottoms, eventually these "instant dips" will become too fast for ordinary people to get in on.

Winter finished.

You made great prediction Smiley Except that your milliseconds last still. (MtGox)

3073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | Super secure hashing | CPU mining | No pre-mine on: March 27, 2014, 05:35:13 PM
A little modified quote of mine:

Is there any exchange with Quark as Base coin - Quark Market - Quark Exchange?

If Quark wants to become or returns to big coin group, Quark has to have Quark Market. (Mint and IFC have its own market(s), Doge has few markets almost from its beginning, some other coins have their markets too, POT, DGC, PAND, FOX also have its own market, ...).

Base Coin means ****/QRK at the exchange.  Quark coin is needed to buy/sell other coins at the Quark Exchange or Quark Market.

The need of Quark Exchange/Market is one of the most important things.

Are there any plans for QuarkCoin exchange?   As I know QRK is the only one coin branch (with many "clones") which does not have own exchange market!!!

QRK price is falling. BTC is falling too. QRK has already fallen much more than BTC. Which coin is better?

3074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese people are crazy to buy NET, netcoin. They think NET is the third coin. on: March 22, 2014, 05:57:47 AM
Exactly. I dont know how these guys with referral links are allowed on this forum.

Why are referral links such problem?

You better think about this from another topic:

lol thats not how it works, the whales don't jump in on coins that are rising., they already own the coins and dump them on the rises.

The coins are carefully selected. These are coins that whales have forgotten about. The time spent on buying and rising the coins is so short they are caught offguard. They have NOTHING to DUMP.

I am an active stock market trader since 1999 (thats 15 years already? wow) so I know market manipulation. You can stay offline and just watch. Don regret not getting in.

The coin we pick wont be DOGE for example, that needs massive BTC to move. IT will be a coin that can double based on the number of people getting in our group.

15 years of stock market trading experience to chose forgotten older low cap altcoins and to try to manipulate it.  Grin

Is your experience sufficient good?   Roll Eyes

3075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GET PAID 5000 IFC TO HELP DEVELOP THE IFC COMMUNITY! on: March 18, 2014, 11:12:23 AM
Does your team slowly dump Infinitecoin?

I'm saddened, shocked, and a little scared.  Cry   Shocked   Lips sealed

3079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Iceland Referendum about Auroracoin [AUR] on: March 17, 2014, 11:45:23 PM
One day ago I ironically wrote this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=516509.msg5721797#msg5721797

What about the new referendum?   Roll Eyes

Give Icelandic people the right to make new decision!  Grin

They have to stay responsible to prevent the new financial collapse again as well as the development of the polar greed.  Grin

and you decide to take hard earned money from Icelandic people?

The number of residents in Iceland is only ~330,000.
If majority of the people will be stakeholders then the nation will be interested to legitimize Auroracoin. And I think the people will be holding currency until price not be grown up.

The referendum will take only few hours. Only this referendum is enough to make 30 AUR is enough to buy a house. And to make 6 Auroshi (or 6 Balduros?Smiley) is enough to buy 10kg of carrots:)

All Icelandic people need is the new financial Ponzi. Do you plan to convert whole nation to accept new Ponzi?  Grin Very ambitious. Roll Eyes
