3061  Local / עברית (Hebrew) / BitExpress - Jerusalem on: October 23, 2014, 07:20:54 PM
Was passing through and came across a shop called BitExpress. Was really neat and was great to see such a shop. Are there any known shops in Israel that accept Bitcoin. This shop had the BTC logo everywhere (including the tables) which was pretty cool. Got some pics too as it was the first time I've seen anything like it.
Hope this thread isn't out of place Smiley
3062  Economy / Goods / Re: WTS - Beats Mixr Headphones - New - Blue & Orange & white Available on: October 23, 2014, 07:17:43 PM
What guarantee do we have of the authenticity of these products? There are a lot of fakes especially in the Beats market.

These threads should be locked straight away. Not even worth the debate. It's that obvious.
3065  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Testers wanted for a micro-jobbing bitcoin site on: October 23, 2014, 12:48:53 AM
Sorry to break he news guys but fiverr have been using Bitcoin for some time now.
Any gig that you buy can be paid with in BTC.

But you don't get paid in BTC.

I'm pretty sure that if enough people want to get paid in BTC, then they'd implement it pretty soon.
They have the existing framework and user base so not really hard to implement.

3067  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] iPhone 5S 64GB Space Grey Unlocked on: October 21, 2014, 11:21:50 PM
These sell for about £400 each which is over €500 (based on recent eBay sales).
I wouldn't really accept any less for it. Anything extra you throw in is really just a bonus as that's is for the phone and box alone.

Your USD to BTC conversions are quite inaccurate. May want to change that. GL Smiley

3071  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for a Partner or Investor for a fully packaged site, ready to deploy on: October 19, 2014, 04:04:11 PM
Seems interesting but need more info. Besides for capital investment would we need to maintain the site as well or not?
If now, who will? Do you have any coding background/experience?

The site works 100%

The current owner is allowing me to remain on his hosting plan 3 months and to provide as needed support.

I work from home and own a few sites, my main source is my books and antique and metaphysical store at http://ubbbk.com

I am not a "coder"  He showed me the backroom.  It is Php 5.3 mysql 5. pdo which I have some knowledge in. As Is said, the work that I would want to do is simple.  I want to ad some ads to the free side and change premium from $165/yr to $10/yr

That is all.  I will ad a chat that is the same chat I use for my website and several other sites like http://antilyze  I think purechat.com is updating servers tonight so the chat may not be on either site this minute but it will be later today.  I would offer support for the site and advertise.

If I buy the site for the entire 2.6 myself, I am handicapping myself with funds a little bit.  Would rather keep a btc back for advertising it once I'm done with changes.  Site has over 100 users but only one bought the $165/yr upgrade when it came out of beta. For a month I was using the site daily and it became a homepage of sorts for me. Very helpful for what I do, saving me possibly an hour a day.  But I could never see it being worth the $165 so I emailed support and struck up an email chat with the owner and I told him that I never spend any money... I always look for free sites but I said, $165 I could never pay for.  i said but if it would have been $10/yr. I would not have thought twice and I wondered how many of the 100 free users would also have bought it for $10 after they (like  me) used the premium features through all of beta.

In that conversation, owner named his focus projects (3 other sites) and said this was one he didn't have time for...  Then we talked price a bit and ultimately I got him to $1000.  My request for an investor is... in my opinion a good one because it is no risk.  I am very public, my name is not fake, i would show you id or passport and utility bills to the home I own in California.  If at the 6 month mark, you were unhappy with site movement....  You would get back investment plus 10% so 1.1 on 1.0 investment or 2.2 on 2.0 investment or 3 on 2.6 invested. That is if you decided to walk.

If the site is making money, you can also choose to be 10% owner (on 1.0 invest) at that point (for life) or if you invest (2.6 btc) then I would give you 30% of revenue.  So, my goal to start would be 100 paid members in 6 months.  $10  would be $1000 with no ad profit included.  Then the domain is paid and all our costs are is the $9.99 price of renewal/year of the domain.  So, if at the end of the year we had 500 paid users that would be $5,000.  Also, if at the 6 month point, if investor stays in, the first money made will go back to investors investment.

Ok, thanks for clarifying. I'm more interested in this. Could you PM me a link to a live/demo site?

Thanks Smiley

3075  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] New Oneplus One smartphone 64gb + flip cover. Free shipping and Escrow on: October 14, 2014, 08:02:25 AM
can u ship to EU ?
Yes I can ship to 16 countries: United States, Canada, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Finland, Belgium, Austria, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Portugal. For countries other than the US or Canada add $29 for international shipping. I can't ship to non-mentioned countries directly, but you could use an email forwarder.

They were hacked, check their main page:
"CryptoThrift has temporarily suspended its escrow service."
Whoa, didn't know Crytothrifht's escrow was hacked. What escrow service would you recommend? I've seen other people mention btcrow and btcraven.

Yes. Pretty sad to hear about cryptothrift. I'd highly recommend monbux. He's highly trustworthy!

Out of curiosity, are all limited editions sold in order of the order number? So coins 10-17 were sold to the first few orders of the new series via your website.
