3061  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Want to Recommend on Great services i found on: August 13, 2021, 05:14:29 PM
A nice scam attempt. The service itself is scammy, it's pretty clear you are faking documents. The Telegram is full of scammers. Getting such as service also wouldn't be a wise decision. Whoever is willing to taking this service just be careful. Most probably you are going to be a victim and blame again on the forum. So it's better to just avoid the potential risk.
3062  Other / Meta / Re: What do you think of the Bitcoin Discussion section? Does he need to change? on: August 13, 2021, 04:59:20 PM
Jokes aside, wouldn't a temporary mute feature work nicely? e.g. if a certain user has like 10 of his/her posts deleted in a day, he/she is muted and unable to post for like 24 hours or so. Haven't thought of this deeply, but yea.
Not a joke at all. It's a reasonable idea IMO. Not only on the Bitcoin Discussion board, a lot of boards full of spam replies. Sometimes reporters report from the user's profile, in this case, spammers should be muted or temporarily ban for a short time. So that person will think twice before spam again.
3063  Economy / Reputation / Re: Red Trust Signature Campaign on: August 12, 2021, 08:47:15 PM
Please lock your thread. It has been discussed multiple times in multiple threads in the reputation section. Just visit there and search. So that you can participate in the discussion of the existing thread. The campaign manager has multiple tag and flag which has been leading to get warning upon open campaign thread. So this is enough to warn participants who are willing to join. Doesn't necessary to create an individual thread for that.
3064  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your current thoughts about starting a new trade? on: August 12, 2021, 08:37:01 PM
For me, I am not entering trading lately. I just sold my Bitcoin for USDT and holding it for another opportunity to buy in dip. Although we don't know where is dip, waiting for the point where I sold it. Regarding altcoin trading, I think it's quite risky now. The market is quite volatile, there is a chance to drop altcoin at any time if in case Bitcoin starts to downtrend. And as we can see Bitcoin already moving down slowly. So better observe the market for few days. It's just my thoughts, not a suggestion at all. Take your own decision for trading since it's a financial decision.
3065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rock Legend Gene Simmons Says He's "All In" on Bitcoin on: August 12, 2021, 08:21:23 PM
Nothing surprising, but need the courage to invest all assets in Bitcoin. Simmons expecting Bitcoin would trade above $60K beginning of the next year, but I am expecting before the end of the year Bitcoin would trade above $60K. So his expectation is reasonable enough. The current Bitcoin rally is something indicating to touch ATH again soon in case if no more big bad news pop up. I have to say, he just realized the potential benefits of Bitcoin which has to lead him to invest all in Bitcoin.
3066  Economy / Reputation / Re: The colorful personality charm in the Bitcoin forum-What is my label? on: August 12, 2021, 07:30:58 PM
I am getting hard to understand the concept of the thread. Nothing here except whoring. Don't take it personally, you need to concentrate more on contribution to the forum. It's just a friendly suggestion. Your posting behavior will determine either you are a good contributor to the forum or not. I think you should learn more by the reading forum.
3067  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Secure your private keys on: August 11, 2021, 07:19:25 PM
@OP, please read more than your write. If you can't explain a thing properly then please study more about the concept you want to share. You should learn first about private keys and their use. There are many threads about secure your wallet. No new information in your thread, rather you have created a controversial thread.

Another friendly suggestion, please learn to use the search button in case you want to create any new thread. So you can avoid duplicate & unnecessary threads.
3068  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto assets: fears that investors are taking too many risks on: August 11, 2021, 07:12:41 PM
It's all about small investors like us. Crypto investment isn't gable for institutional investors. We know that many institutional investors already entered the crypto market, they realized the potential of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. I know invest in cryptocurrency is a high risk, but all investors thought aren't the same. For me, I don't support borrowing money for cryptocurrency investment. Because it's risky to .e. We should invest what we can afford.
3069  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hardware wallet referral program - Get 10% on each -super easy- sale on: August 11, 2021, 02:12:46 PM
Are you from the team? If so then I think this thread is more suit in the Hardware wallets section. Of course, you have to add more information in detail. Since you aren't using affiliate links so I am assuming somehow you are related to the team. If you aren't from the team, so do you have any announcement thread link where we can find more information about this hardware wallet and how secure is that. I am not familiar with this hardware wallet, so don't know either it's trusted or not. But I am curious to know more about the Satochip hardware wallet.
3070  Economy / Reputation / Re: Multiple accounts join irfan_pak10 signature campaign on: August 11, 2021, 01:47:05 PM
Actually, I have a bonus system implemented in my campaign, that anyone who finds alts, or any other finding that we missed and it's against our rules, we are giving them some bonus stakes, whether he is a part of a campaign or not. And you deserve those stakes. If you want, please do send me your wallet. It's a token of appreciation and encouragement for other people to take part in finding spam/scams from this forum. Again thank you and sorry my guys forget about it. We apologize.
Thanks for your action against campaign abuser. I really appreciate that decision. It would prevent alt account from joining in the campaign or at least it will help to kick off campaign abuser. Many account farmers are still around us, always they have been getting advantage to joining campaigns with many alt accounts. So someone needs to find then those have enough time to do so. And a small appreciation for them will encourage more to find alt account.

@OP, you did a great job. Keep finding campaign abusers and account farmers.
3071  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase New FUD on: August 10, 2021, 07:53:39 PM
Nothing will happen actually. Either it's FUD or real news, I don't think Coinbase doing something illegal that would be the reason shutdown it. Complying with the rules would be mandatory where are you running a business. So if Coinbase missing something it would be corrected. But sadly, we react immediately when this kind of news comes from us. We just turn it into FUD. Nothing else. Many FUD heard about many crypto exchanges, but still nothing happens.
3072  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Calculator check how much my Bitcoin would be worth on: August 10, 2021, 07:24:17 PM
@LeGaulois got what OP needs exactly. But I don't think OP will find something like that or we aren't familiar with such tools. I think any developer isn't encouraged to build such tools that would be solved by a simple excel sheet. You just need to use a formula to calculate and input the price you want to see past or future prices. This isn't hard actually, just need basic knowledge. Don't make it complex where it could solve easily.
3073  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reading is more important than replying on: August 09, 2021, 07:21:18 PM
The question is how may you contribute to the forum? If you can't learn then you can't contribute. You can't read then you can't learn. So learning and contributing are related to each other. I have been saying always, read more than create a post or reply. So that you can learn more and could contribute to the forum. The goal shouldn't be earning merit which wouldn't give you a good result. Concentration on the learning and contribution would help you be an established member of the forum. So, learn as much you can by reading forums.
3074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think is the relationship between Bitcoin and blockchain? on: August 09, 2021, 07:10:08 PM
If you research more about blockchain & Bitcoin then you will get your answer. To be honest, although Bitcoin has been running on the Blockchain, Bitcoin makes it popular. We can say Bitcoin makes blockchain popular. Definitely, blockchain was created before Bitcoin since Bitcoin was deployed on the blockchain. So Bitcoin is fully dependent on the Blockchain, but Blockchain is an individual technology. You can use Blockchain technology anywhere even without cryptocurrency. But Bitcoin can't exist except Blockchain. That's the relationship.
3075  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Emiswap holding my tokens hostage and trying to extort me on: August 09, 2021, 06:02:23 PM
How you bought this token and where are you holding still I am not getting what is happening with you. I am not well familiar with Decentralized exchange, after you bought a token shouldn't it be at your address? So how and where they are holding your token? If they could hold your token then how the platform is Decentralized? Getting hard to understand this case. This is a fucking reason to hold tokens. My token I can and should sell at any time I want. Doesn't matter what is the current price. The decentralized system doesn't work like this. This is obvious scammy behavior.
3076  Economy / Reputation / Re: Value bitcointalk brought to me in my work summary of July on: August 09, 2021, 05:37:55 PM
I am not sure if had read all of your topics but seems you give maximum afford during wring a post. Because most of your posts are too long. It's more important to write a constructive post rather than just make it bigger. We should always try to explain a concept within short words. Doesn't necessarily always need to create too long topics. You should read more rather than writing, so you can learn more and could contribute to the forum. Even you contribute to the forum although you do not create a single post. So everything isn't related to how many posts have you been creating. The matter is how your posts are constructive.
3077  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Signal trap, a self-conscious scam on: August 08, 2021, 07:55:26 PM
I would like just to encourage you to get updates from their free signal groups.
I would consider this a mistake from your part but if you meant this then I'm sorry but i just have to opposed. As a previous victim of signal groups when I thought trading was the way I could get to my goals faster in the industry, I can tell you there's no good from these so called signal groups not minding if they're paid or free. Nothing is actually free when you think about it. This signal groups owners are only just enriching themselves and their closet pals at your expense.
It's up to you either you consider mistakes or not. My concept was to ignore any kind of signal. But if it's really needed may get news updates from such channels. Of course not from the paid group. I don't see anything wrong if you get a few crypto-related news updates from any channel. So you will have an idea of what's happening in the crypto market lately. For any other purpose, I will discourage to use updates for trading. It's quite dangerous for newbies traders.
3078  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto market adds over $140 billion in one day on: August 08, 2021, 07:41:05 PM
Looking forward to Amazon adopting cryptos. I heard Overstock want to seriously compete with them at this aspect.  Cheesy
Not very soon. They clearly stated at least they aren't going to accept Bitcoin this year. But it doesn't mean they will not accept in the future. As far as I know, there were many rumors before as well, but it looks like manipulation.

Anyway, crypto means volatile. So at the same time market cap will increase and decrease based on investor's movements.
3079  Other / Meta / Re: Banned Displaying signature. on: August 08, 2021, 05:55:49 PM
Just to clarify, that user wasn't banned for applying in the betking signature campaign. This user has an existing ban of displaying signature, most probably he just wore the avatar or the avatar was exist before getting ban. Any users wouldn't ban for applying any campaign. Admin only disables the signature code if it encourages huge spam on the forum. Admin doesn't like to moderate scams anyway.
3080  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stay away from greedy free Bitcoin offer through spam mail. on: August 08, 2021, 05:28:18 PM
Hopefully members here are smart enough not to click links from crap like this.  You shouldn't even open the e-mail in my opinion.
This is the issue. As you said smart member obviously could ignore clicking this kind of link like I didn't click on the link. Rather than just deleted it forever, so even mistake I won't click there. But sadly a few unsmart or greedy members often fall into this trap. They think this is free money why should miss it out. As a result, somehow they have been getting scams or hack. The scammer knows very well if they send mail to many users there are some stupid and greedy who will click on links and hackers would take advantage of hacking or scamming.
