I see we are going up again. PBOC together with OKCoin and Huobi will have to do something more to dump the price mmore than this. This is totally a trench warfare now. Only the strongest survive  Wink

$970 by the way
3062  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-02-04] Almost $1 Billion Worth of Bitcoins Stuck in Transaction Backlog on: February 10, 2017, 07:35:53 AM
For the first time in my BTC life I paid 300K satoshis for a transaction! I couldn't wait and so I paid that amount. Let's be honest, in this way BTC will never be seen for everyday spending. My tx fees are now more than the price of my morning coffee
Look at the one year mempool chart you will find a lot of interesting hints

3063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 10, 2017, 07:24:37 AM
To better prepare their Champions League match versus Real Madrid Napoli will play today against Genoa. I think Napoli is thinking of Madrid already so this might be a got opportunity for Genoa but I believe Napoli is going to win this game anyway. My pick is over 2,5 goals, just to be sure
3064  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 10, 2017, 07:20:53 AM
At time of writing is 7.18 am in the UK, 2.18 am in New York and 3.18 in Bejiing and I see no explosions. Lawyers and co. must be having a nap or this is just another small dump that will eventually be eaten by the Masterplan  Wink
3065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prediction ligue 1, france football league on: February 10, 2017, 07:10:40 AM
I consider Bordeaux - Paris Saint Germain a sort of classic match for French football. Next Tuesday PSG wiil be playing against Barcelona in ECL and this might affect their performance in this game. To me the final score will be 1-1 or 0-0, a draw
3066  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 09, 2017, 06:51:53 PM
I guess it's time for Bitcoin to dump China..
You win for the most relevant post read in the last pages.

Anyway, whatever will happen I know the real value of my bitcoins and I'll hold onto every single satoshi I have.
No dump scares me.
3067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in casinos on: February 09, 2017, 06:40:51 PM
i don't think if invest money at casino is good idea and always give us some profits because invest at casino site it means we should ready to lose our balance too, because if some whales player win with huge amount we will lose profits and balance maybe play gambling better than invest on it

but i think its a good idea to invest in casino because at least we can make steady profit althought we can not expect to get much of profit with the house. but to make invest in casino, we need 0.1 btc and maybe there are any gambling site that will give a chance for us to investing in under of 0.1 btc.

It really depends on how much you can invest and what is you % in the bankroll. With Betking most of us who invested there got very good profits. No investment is 100% safe but I would still consider investing in a btc casino.

You say you earned some good profits on betking, it is either you had some large invest going, or it is either betking's bankroll is pretty small so even if you are not a big investor, you could still end up with some profits.
In my opinion, that's the kind of site you should search for if you are interested to invest in a gambling site, a site that has a small bankroll, so when you make an investment you actually own a decent percent of the site.

Investing in Betking is not possible anymore. Yes I repeat what I said: it has been the most important I did so far. I am talking about the one which was the leading dice site around more than 7000BTC bankroll. Surely not nuts

Yay! I found it in a post I made on January 9th - so a month ago.

Re: What is the minimum profitable price?

It's mentioned near the end of that post.

I am not able to follow all the relavant threads and when I read this 'news' I supposed it was worth a mention..  Wink
Thank you for your reference which actually is a very informative thread for me.

The Bitcoin Rush never stops.  Wink

Months after acquiring bankrupt bitcoin mining firm KnCMiner, a Sweden-based company has started to mine.
GoGreenLight moved to buy out the miner last summer, a move that followed KnC’s bankruptcy declaration in May. GoGreenLight is a sister company of Borderlight, an IT and telecom services provider based in Uppsala.

snip

we've hit Eur1000 again ... wait for the dumbfers to have another go shorting to protect their now losing positions. PBOC probably has no idea their name is being used in Western business press by miners and whale traders to game a few shekels out of a volatile market.
Going through my favorites folder and stumbled over this, remember the old 10k BTC for a Pizza? lol

and guess who is posting on the 2nd page of this thread  Wink

The years flip on by don't they  Wink

Every time I read through this I get astonishingly nauseated lol

Don't know whether to laugh or cry reading that,  $10 million for 2 pizzas. lol

Back then it was only 42 dollars which were already a lot for two pizzas. Maybe one day when they price will be 100000$ a coin you will also cry for having sold yours. We never know man  Wink

It was good to read the last posts. It seems like if people got the equation
decentralization=freedom=I do whatever I want

That's not how it works, right?

So dev decides what's allowed and what's not on this decentralized market? Why even make it decentralized if it's going to adhere to all the centralized laws? ....
What are you talking about?  Sad Please explain yourself or go spamming somewhere else. Download the wallet, play with it and do something with the in-wallet marketplace.

The four stars and stripes digits are being tested hard (and they are holding). I can't stop watching the trades but I hope the $1000 resistance will keep the dump away. This is a real turning point to see a glorious march ahead. Or, at least, this is the way I see it.

I mine from minergate, during office hours.  Smiley I'm giving it two cores even though I know it doesn't give me anything. It reminds me when I was mining bitcoin in the old cpu days
3076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: February 08, 2017, 07:23:10 AM
Byteball so needs a legit exchange

No doubt it would help for sure.

It's only a matter of time!

Probably not, legit exchange might be waiting for complete distribution of all bytes which may take sometime.

I don't really think is a matter of finishing the distribution: with this reasoning mostly no coins should be on exchanges since even BTC is still far away from 21 million coins. I agree that is kind of interesting to see big exchanges still not onboard but I do believe they will jump on the train after the second round.
3077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: February 08, 2017, 07:17:18 AM

You are welcome.  Wink Bear in mind that if you want to take part in the next distribution you will have to link your addresses before February 11th.
By the way are you working for Bitcoin Gambling Reviews? I've never seen that sig so either you are part of it or you are simply supporting it.

A bitcoin ETF would be for the bitcoin 'market cap' like an IPO for big. tech. stock ....

Opens way too high, crashes immediately, then slowly recovers to 4X the IPO price?

lol, yeah probably.

What about the whole gets pumped insanely by Cramer on Mad Money and rumours swirled about by suits on Wall St., public money is bewildered, bemused and titillated at crazy valuation volatility but puts mad money in anyway, some early investor techies lose their shit and drop out of rat race, marrying for the 3rd time and going native in a forest somewhere, different groups inside the organisation form factions and start vying for control until open war breaks out and CEO gets fired by the new board chairman appointed by the suits. etc. etc? ... you know the whole tech. IPO nine yards thing.

I think you are missing an important part of the puzzle. There are many small/medium size investors that want to invest in such an instrument. They don't want to hold bitcoin they will never get it but they want a share in the ETF. And they will buy it and trade like they always did.

3080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: February 07, 2017, 07:39:14 AM
When we think about investments we imagine investors with big sums of money, so for btc casino it would be 1 or more btc, for instance. However, the minimum amount you can invest is usually 0.01btc which is only 10$. Do you think such investments are profitable but you earn small sums or maybe they don't make sense at all? Can someone explain it to me?
For me, it's not worth to make small amount of investment, minimum amount maybe just for give it a shot but not reach minimum profits that I want. Imagine if you have 1btc to invest, minimum capital to invest 0.01btc, then how much it will give you return? Depends on percentage of profit sharing. I prefer to get more than only expect for small amount, it risky of course but offer higher return.
I gained good profits starting small, always. It depends on one's inclinations and of course from a good timeframe we have in mind when investing. If you want a quick quck you will likely lose everything you have.
The most important part is that starting small gave me the means to learn and understand what I was doing. Nothing comes without a bit of pain.
