This is missing, at a minimum, the core developer and technical expert flags.
Yes, you guys should have a flag. Maybe an entire coin colored chartreuse in honor of MtGox beginnings in France. Can I have a flag? I want to be the Netherlands. I've always grooved on those cool wooden shoes. lol... I think you misunderstood gmaxwell. Go to the Development & Technical Discussion top-level board and take a look at posts made by some people. Some people have a Bitcoin expert icon/flag below their usernames in that section: and some people have a Bitcoin-Qt core developer flag below their usernames:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=369.msg22160#msg22160Anyway, what's the plan for subdividing bitcoins? Do we go in thousands like the metric system (millibits, microbits, nanobits)? Or do we have names for subdivisions? A hundredth of a bitcoin could be a Satoshi, a thousandth of that could be a Molyneau, and a thousandth of that could be an Austrian.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=369.msg30691#msg30691Let's consider the long-term, where we will need a smaller unit. I think it's best to have a separate name for this, rather than messing with long decimals like 0.00000247. For the purpose of this discussion, suppose a millionth of a bitcoin is called a satoshi.

the US has nothing to gain by interfering in Syria other than some self perceived moral authority or "exceptionalism" which given the results of the past interventions in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya has been an utter failure.
If they had nothing to gain they wouldn't be interfering. They even have something to lose (peoples' support) because many people are against them interfering in Syria. Please take time to read this and you should understand: http://www.reddit.com/r/TrueAskReddit/comments/1lw8yg/why_does_the_president_seem_so_personally/cc432ts

I got a report from danieldaniel who wanted to have his thread removed and I told him that he'd have to delete other peoples' posts if he wanted to delete his thread. It was a self-moderated thread so he could delete any replies he wanted. I got a PM now from him to confirm this in this thread.

JackWallet sounds nice. It sounds catchy. Also it's sort of like a car jack is to a car. You use JackWallet to repair your wallet!
I don't think people will value a software to deal with their private keys if its name makes them think about car-jacking. I'm not an English native though so maybe it's catchy and not scary. If so, could native speakers tell me so? I don't see a problem with JackWallet but English is not my mother tongue, so you might want to wait for more people to provide you with an answer to your question. How about JacquesWallet then? JWallet is already taken and could imply your fork is written in Java so I'm not going to suggest it.

1. Should copyright exist? 1. No because I do not find any of the arguments I have read regarding the use of violence against someone merely for speech to be compelling and therefore it would violate the Non-Aggression Axiom but I remain minded to superior arguments. Additionally, copyright was invented as a tool for the State to suppress the free flow of ideas, is still being used as a tool to suppress ideas like with the raid on Kim Dotcom and is all done under color of law that is built on a very weak intellectual foundation for moral justification. Consequently, I am against the use of violence to impede or prevent the spread of the Bitcoin protocol because it is speech. huh? You went to law school and you don't understand the purpose of copyrights and intellectual property? "copyright was invented as a tool for the State to suppress the free flow of ideas" Maybe the law has been taken too far but it was put into place at the request of artists to protect their work. The rest of your lunatic rant in unintelligible to normal people. Copyright law has its roots in censorship. Failure to realize this means being blind to the potential for abuse. http://torrentfreak.com/the-copyright-monopoly-was-created-as-a-censorship-instrument-and-is-still-used-as-one-130901/http://www.google.pl/books?id=BzLXGUxV4CkC&pg=PA15#v=onepage&q&f=false

i would be all about the treyzor for .25 btc or less. and i agree, holy crap what is up with preorders and bitcoin? I guess for startup companies any way to accumulate capital is ok, but for me as a consumer im really sick of laying money down for a product that i may get in 1 month or 1 year or possibly never. That's because you're not simply a consumer but also, and most importantly, an investor.

You not seeing any problems is the problem. Same with Matthew.
Next thing and he will start saying that he only wanted to "teach people a lesson"

from these quotes shes too libertarian for my preference, i don't think the efforts of the foundation should be affected by any dogmatic ideology rather than specific issues. supporting limited government isnt really part of the job IMO since not all bitcoiners agree with that. It's actually a very good thing that she is (or at least sounds) libertarian. If bitcoin is to be part of the mainstream and without introducing red tape, business-crippling changes, the foundation should partner with some pro-freedom organizations... although I can easily see that expecting a laissez-faire attitude from most 1st world governments is tilting at windmills once bitcoin grows further.

Good post, Rassah, that's exactly my impression of her. She's very active, takes the initiative and seems to have great interpersonal skill, but her words lack specificity.

In the past, every product BFL has announced, they have delivered. It takes near forever, but they have delivered. What historical evidence do you present that proves that they are in the habit of making up fake devices just to make money? AKA: stfu.
The original Butterfly Labs Single was supposed to cost $500, run at 1.05 GH/s and consume 19W. In the end it cost 20% more ($600), ran ~20% slower (800-something MH/s) and consumed ~300% more power (~80W). They had _no_product_whatsoever_ when they gave the initial figures and had based them off simulations only. The device did not exist when people placed their pre-orders and what they eventually got was far from the advertised product — they got a different product under the same name. So yes, they made up a fake device to make money. As for the last page — impressive to see just two individual users making up about almost 0.5% of the total network hashrate, also without taking much space.
