I have a question for you DEV, what's stopping you from saying you distributed X amount when you've kept some for your self, then you could then decide to just sell a shit load when the price is right?

Why should we use this coin if it's not distributed in an open and transparent way?

What's stopping you from having a monopoly on this coin?

I and others would like to have the answers to these questions.

Some coins have a premine of a few % and people write them off instantly. Other coins premine 50% and people go absolutely bat shit crazy, hailing them as the best thing since sliced bread.

I just cannot understand why so many of the folk in here are so hypocritical when it suits!?

The reason we go bat shit crazy for these coins is simple, we want to get out from the central bank control.

The central banks are the reason our world is so fucked up, they are behind every war in the last century (they even fund both sides, they are right psychopaths). What gives these banking families the right to play god with us and treat us like chattle?

We are sick of it, and more and more of us are waking up to how they control our governments and set the agenda's (agenda 21 for example) and pass laws that suit them and oppress us.

If we can get one country to except one of these coins, then it would set a president for the rest of the world and you will see a knock on effect that would be a true global revolution like nothing that has gone before, it really would be a miracle for all humanity, it would put us on the path to freedom, something that we truly have never had, the consciousness awakening is currently underway, and I would risk my money and back these coins every day of the week and twice on Sunday if it ment a chance for freedom for all my brothers and sisters.

dude quit visiting infowars.com

It's quite clear that Central Banks really fuck up economies (e.g Great Depression & Great Financial Crisis). Price fixing (fixing the price of money i.e., setting interest rates) and economic central planning are guaranteed to fail in the long run. Sites like infowars just put people off. It's a distraction from the one major 'conspiracy' that is evidently true. The book "The Creature From Jekyll Island" sets out the evidence for all to see (http://www.bigeye.com/griffin.htm). Eg.

The Federal Reserve is incapable of accomplishing its stated objectives.
It is a cartel operating against the public interest.
It's the supreme instrument of usury.
It generates our most unfair tax.
    It encourages war.
    It destabilizes the economy.

Satoshi knew this and created bitcoin to set us free.

Dev is a genius. Creates coin, premines 0.5% (to be fair), calls coin dead and corrupt, everyone dumps on him at 100 satoshi (so he can buy his own coin at a cheap price), resurrects coin, now he's a rich motherfkca

I wonder how many dumped for such a low price?

I didn't think it was worth dumping at such a low price, it didn't cost me anything so I thought i'd hold and see what would happen.

It would be pretty sharp if the corrupted wallet was an elaborate hoax to get people to dump?

Is this coin having the same problems as darkcoin?

You mean the rewards that are inversely proportional to difficulty?  No.

Good good.

Spain currently has a GDP of around $1.349 trillion, if it were to capture 0.01% of the countries GDP then that would be a market cap of $1,349,000,000

GDP is not the same thing as money supply. So those numbers are useless.

Does it matter weather it's GDP or the total money supply? The point is Spain's economy is huge, if it were to catch even a tenth of one percent the value of of Spain coin would be very large.

Of course , because there is a huge difference between it.
And because gdp and m1 are different , what's the point of mentioning gdp in the first place?

Would you like to educate me in the difference?

The money supply is the total amount of monetary assets in a country.  (coins , bills, deposits , checks , liquid assets)
Those are split into m0,m1,m2,m3

You can read more here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Money_supply
Basically coins are trying to replace the M1 a fraction of the entire money supply.

GDP is the value of all the goods and services produced in a country in one year

You can see the differences in value here:
http://www.tradingeconomics.com/spain/indicators

Thank you for that, you learn something new every day.

The total M1 is 531600 million euro, which is a very large figure, if this coin could capture less than 1% of that, the market cap would be HUGE.

I feel like this needs to be in big red text?
