3061  Other / Meta / Re: The mods here deserve a dildo in their ass on: April 14, 2021, 12:06:26 AM
I object to the implication that a dildo up one's ass is necessarily a bad thing. Good for the mods if they happen to deserve and appreciate it.

OP on the other hand... is an exceptionally obtuse individual. Their ingenious plan to destroy facebook and dominate the world economy with private jets and naked women consists of scamming borrowing 5 EUR to buy facebook ads.
3062  Other / Meta / Re: Is it time to change some negative trust ratings to neutral or delete them? on: April 13, 2021, 10:34:05 PM
revenge for excluding you early on

Nice narrative. Whatever makes it easier for you to cope. In fact, let me just admit right here that I'm the worst person on this goddamn forum, just in case that helps you be the bigger man and get rid of all the abusive red ratings you sent out over the years. Fingers crossed.
3063  Other / Meta / Re: Is it time to change some negative trust ratings to neutral or delete them? on: April 13, 2021, 10:07:05 PM
This isn’t true.

I'd have doubted it a couple of years ago but after seeing the shit you pull in PMs... you would be the last person I would trust in any "he said, OgNasty said" situation.

How about this, I’ll even in good faith for the sake of this thread remove it yet again

Excellent, thank you for doing the right thing.
3064  Other / Meta / Re: Is it time to change some negative trust ratings to neutral or delete them? on: April 13, 2021, 09:09:47 PM
Unfortunately, I've already had to add one back for a user who immediately began harassing me after I removed a feedback rating for them threatening to physically harm me.
So you are getting harassed by the member you removed the rating from? He is angry that you changed your mind and decided not to tag him Huh

When it comes to OgNasty, he's usually blatantly lying about such personal interactions and has a habit of sending harassing PMs to other users. What really happened here is that he came up with an excuse to move his red trust rating to the top of the list after the person whom he had red-trusted previously gained a few positive ratings from successful trades, which would indicate that there isn't high risk in trading with said person but OgNasty can't stand that with people he dislikes.
3065  Economy / Speculation / Re: I just realized I'm 99.9% crypto and 0.1% in fiat on: April 13, 2021, 02:46:49 AM
Not sure how I would calculate this properly... does the house count as fiat? Minus mortgage? But with the latest bullrun I'm probably around 40:60 fiat:crypto split, which is kinda meh since it could become 10:90 or 90:10 pretty much overnight. The more important part is whether you have the capacity to survive the volatility, which I didn't when I started and I sold way too many bitcoins between 2014-2018. Now I'm good to hodl.
3066  Economy / Securities / Re: 📈 NastyFans: The Bitcoin Enthusiast Fan Club (est. 2012) on: April 13, 2021, 02:27:32 AM
I obviously can't delete anyone's posts here, nor did I report anything as multiposting but that should be of no surprise to anyone.

Sorry, bad wording, I meant you deleted your posts, which made my posts look like I was talking to myself. Not cool but whatever. I already fixed that.

I would like to request you suchmoon along with your partner ibminer to utilize the Reputation board if you have issues with me.  This thread is to discuss a provably honest community organization, not to cast stones at it's members.

Or you could just answer as to when you decided that Bitcoin is not money and how you communicated that to your customers/investors/etc. I don't have an issue with this if it was properly disclosed at the time.
3067  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [β] BPIP Extension: user info & extra features add-on/extension, Firefox/Chrome on: April 12, 2021, 05:28:53 PM
The API issue has been fixed. Thanks for reporting and sorry for the lengthy downtime.
3068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: April 12, 2021, 05:17:23 AM
It might also help offset their steadily declining revenues, lol.  Cheesy

I know that's most likely why they're doing it but I could never understand how exactly they're expecting it to work out. Renegotiate TV contracts? Are the advertisers actually going to pay more? For what exactly? Am I supposed to drink more beer than usual just because there is an extra NFL game?

It seems to me that it's a zero sum proposition, same money will get spread a bit thinner, there won't be hordes of new fans bringing new money, and existing fans may be more likely to skip one or two games because there will be more of those where top players are resting before playoffs etc.
3069  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [β] BPIP Extension: user info & extra features add-on/extension, Firefox/Chrome on: April 12, 2021, 03:06:50 AM
I noticed a bug in the BPIP extension today. Earned Merits and BPIP rank are blank, just like in the image below. All profiles in all posts in my computer are like that

I'm aware and trying to fix... looks like some unrelated updates broke the API because I failed to merge the code many months ago.
3070  Economy / Securities / Re: 📈 NastyFans: The Bitcoin Enthusiast Fan Club (est. 2012) on: April 11, 2021, 01:41:48 AM
LOL... Og's been deleting his posts and reporting my posts as multiposting. Let me reorganize everything into one post with appropriate quotes. If you need more context, including full versions of Og's deleted posts, see here (scroll to the end): https://loyce.club/archive/topics/8/86854.html

they gave you money as an investment, you gave them back a lot less money, and you blame them for not calling it a great success.

See, this is where you're wrong.  I gave them back more money.  Although it does sound from your comments that you are highly likely to be evading taxes from the way you say, "less money" when what you really mean is "more dollars."

Did you take USD or BTC? Are you giving back USD or BTC? Is BTC money or not?

When I say "less money" I mean "less money", not "more dollars" or "more bolivars". Not a rocket surgery really.

The majority in the Bitcoin community these days call it a store of value.

So... you gave back less value, is that a fair assessment of what's happening here?

The majority in the Bitcoin community these days call it a store of value.

So... you gave back less value, is that a fair assessment of what's happening here?

If you consider $1.54 to be of greater value than $50, I could see how you could perceive it as that.

When people gave you money back in the day, were they all aware that you don't consider Bitcoin money? Can you point to where you explained all that?

I can see how this could have been interpreted differently if you didn't make it clear upfront.

3071  Other / Archival / Re: Is JayJuanGee a CUNT? [Asking for a friend.] on: April 10, 2021, 09:00:39 PM
With respect to JJG being a cunt, I'm trying to remember his style of posting and can't

I don't know if he has a specific style but he certainly has quantity and unlike other wallpaper enthusiasts he tends to put in an effort so that automatically takes off 2 or 3 cuntpoints.

How is this helping JJG again?

He asked for it so he must have some benefit from this.
3072  Other / Archival / Re: Is JayJuanGee a CUNT? [Asking for a friend.] on: April 10, 2021, 06:32:29 PM
What is it with everyone now trying to get on the cuntwagon without putting in any work. I'm not gonna do a nullius here and quote myself but I have very comprehensive, arbitrary, and volatile criteria for calling someone a cunt so it requires some effort to qualify.
3073  Economy / Reputation / Re: Reputation: nullius is a cunt on: April 10, 2021, 04:21:55 PM
Even though I would not mind some kind of an experiment to have some thread created about me calling me a cunt or some other variation of the idea, but likely such experiment would not really be necessary or as joyful with me because of reasons already stated.. .. but, hey, who knows? not going to know until such experiment is tried.  AmiNOTrite?

I may have made fun of your verbosity here and there but I don't believe I've come across any of the following from you:

  • False and incongruous red trust ratings.
  • Pompous unironic assertions of your own superiority over everyone else.
  • Convoluted unenforceable rules on how other users should behave.
  • Cringy shitposting sockpuppets.

So no, sorry, I can't call you a cunt. You would need to try harder to hit all of the above targets and even then I can't give you any guarantees. It's not an exact science. I may alter the criteria at any time for any reason or no reason.
3074  Economy / Reputation / Re: Reputation: nullius is a cunt on: April 10, 2021, 01:12:21 PM
Your sorrows won't go away by drinking darling. You have to repent and apologize say you're sorry and really mean it.

Do I know you? What do you need me to apologize for? I'm sure I regret everything I may have done that made you a morose little poodle yapping at me in random threads.

Don't even try to stay on topic, it might strain your faculties beyond their capacity.
3075  Economy / Reputation / Re: Reputation: nullius is a cunt on: April 10, 2021, 05:48:10 AM
I see plonker almond is now friends with OgNasty, so his judgement seems to be deteriorating even further. SMH. Poor schmuck doesn't realize what Og needs him for.

OgNasty    2021-04-10    Reference    Feedback neutralized; see reference link for reasons.
3076  Economy / Reputation / Re: Reputation: nullius is a cunt on: April 10, 2021, 01:33:43 AM
Haha, you cared enough to learn to cuss me out in Arabic.

So you're saying he doesn't care enough about me to google some insults in my native language? FML.

Edit: maybe he did below. Fingers crossed. I'll read it on Monday, maybe.
3077  Economy / Reputation / Re: Reputation: nullius is a cunt on: April 10, 2021, 12:51:32 AM
Hmmm... click Show/Hide and waste an hour or do something useful like continue Friday drinking... tough choice.

Nullius still a grade D- cunt in case anyone is not yet 100% sure.
3078  Economy / Exchanges / Re: IRS John Doe summons on Kraken on: April 08, 2021, 06:07:13 PM
Interesting. Are banks treated the same way in the US? When I file my taxes, even bank accounts without a balance are pre-filled, and literally every cent is accounted for.

See that's the advantage of living in a surveillance state... you don't need to bother declaring bank balances in the US except foreign accounts, IRS probably already knows domestic ones Smiley

Banks (and e.g. PayPal/Amazon/etc) are supposed to report payment totals (like credit card receipts) above $20k. IRS gets the info, tax payer gets 1099-K or whatever the form is, however you need to pay taxes the same way regardless if you traded above or below $20k so it's a meaningless limit really.

Stock brokers report every cent and are probably pissed at Coinbase/Kraken/et al getting an exception to not do so.

No.
3080  Other / Meta / Re: Two older topics are at the top on Service Announcements board on: April 07, 2021, 02:59:39 PM
This board uses the new-ish bump system: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5183553.0

There is a bump link/button and also posting in a thread will bump it but only if you have earned merits. Last post date no longer matters.

That old thread was apparently bumped using the bump link.
