3061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [$XVG] VERGE [POW][MultiAlgo][BLACKHOLE][Entire Line of TOR/i2P Resources] on: June 10, 2017, 04:59:25 PM
Hello, if i don't mine coin

But buying and holding this coin

Is there any benefit of holding it?

As i dont see POS so what can i do with this coin

of course i bought also some, the price is very tempting i like very cheap coin, they always rise a lot, there is no pos but the featur look good, has anonymous and tor integration, what do you want more to buy? the only bad thing for me is the big marketcap, i don't like this kind of market cap, but other coin with billion marketcap like NEM wnet very high, why not this? i'm holding
3062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is dual Mining, today, worth it? on: June 10, 2017, 04:55:51 PM
yeah because with dual mining you consume a little more but you get something like 20% more profit, while the first coin which is ETH don't get much lower hashrate, therefore you get free money basically, it's always worth it with both nvidia and amd, too bad genoil can't dual mine, you must use clymore wiht the fee
3063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the total supply of Ethereum? on: June 10, 2017, 04:54:16 PM
I visited following site:

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethereum/

but don't see total supply for Ethereum. Im guessing it is 40-50 million correct?

Or how is it possible for Ether to reach nearly $300 each with inflation problem?

it's written there a bit more than 92M is the market cap, i can't see a big infaltion, that is only 4-5x the one of bitcoin and about the same as litecoin, it should held a good value anyway if there is enough buy support
3064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH Mining Profits to dry up in Dec. on: June 10, 2017, 04:52:23 PM
http://www.mycryptobuddy.com/EthereumMiningCalculator

Am I wrong?
It looks like the difficulty increase won't yield profitability unless the ETH price literally doubles.

I was investing in SEVERAL rigs, I'm already thousands in... is the risk too much?

ETC as an alternative also has the same curve.

Feeling sick seeing this.. only 6 months left of "good" mining.

you really invested in thousands rig are you seirous lol? i don't believe this, but anyway ETh can still double again in 6 month, when ETh was at 1/3 of the current value none was believing that it could reach 0.1 btc one day, so why not 0.2 in 6 months?
3065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is useless or is it? on: June 10, 2017, 04:48:54 PM
yes, bitcoin is useless right now because of huge fees

I agree but if you can use ViaBTC accelarator properly then even old low fees transaction are getting confirmed and i have done this recently and got confirmed in 2 hrs. So it is that you have to put your efforts little more for this benefit.
Accelerating Bitcoin transactions using ViaBTC is one of the important tools that are out there if anyone who has a stuck transaction needs a faster confirmation rate. I am thankful that those people mining Bitcoin released the tool because I have used it so many times and had my transactions confirmed within 24 hours without having to spend like $20 per transaction just so I can send like $0.50 to another person with a Bitcoin client.

but it can't be used by everybody, the limit is 100 tx per hours, do you know other services like these? would be really helpuf to bypass the limit, i don't want to pay the overpriced fee that we have know i think it's not fair, and miners know this, they just like the current limit on the block, and it's why there are many that are neutral about what to do to fix this
3066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: WALLET.DAT or SEEDS - What is the safest on: June 10, 2017, 03:22:02 PM
Been in the search of best way to secure my future bits (if there will be Cheesy). And I came up with this clients that supports wallet.dat and clients that support SEEDS. What do you prefer? And Why?

i like the first format because i can use it on core version, i like to use the original client and not third party client, what make your bitcoin really secure is the user behind the security of his coin not the way you do it, i like to secure with trezor or usd stick, which are portable and can be used everywhere, trezor for possible infected public pc is very good, usb on my home work great
3067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum in 5 years on: June 10, 2017, 03:19:44 PM
I think it depends on bitcoin destiny. If bitcoin hard fork will success then ethereum will lost his price a lot. Because now ethereum price grows up so fast because of fear before bitcoin hard fork of some investors. My price is between 1,500-3,000$. When bitcoin price should be not less then 10,000$. I am very optimistic  Roll Eyes

Some says bitcoin prices might goes up to 100.000 dollars. So are you sure that you're optimistic?  Cheesy

In 5 years, we'll be talking about the year, 2022, where bitcoin block halving will have taken place 2 years ago. We'll observe huge price movements.

cmon $100000 for 1 BTC?!?
I donīt believe there is such a huge market.

Ethereum in 2020 I could imagine around $1000.

it's possible dude, bitcoin with forex market and big rich billionaries investors can increase a lot, 100k is doable in 2020-2030 time frame, at that point ETH would be 1000-10k range with easy
3068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More good news for litecoin on: June 10, 2017, 02:59:37 PM
Additional good news:

Yours Network abandons plans for Bitcoin and selects Litecoin for low transaction fees:

https://news.bitcoin.com/yours-network-litecoin-full-launch/

this not a good news for litecoin but not for bitcoin, i don't like it, but what they need to do is amking litecoin more accepted like bitcoin, why it's not the case anymore? i remember that litecoin was accepted by few big shop in the past, why they removed it?, i feel like litecoin have a point with the best block limit, as a side work for bitcoin
3069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LOW priced cryptocoins with BIG time potential on: June 10, 2017, 02:58:00 PM
verge very high potential, current price only 160 satoshi, has a anonymous system different than monero and zcash, has  nice roadmap and active dev, it's an old coin but it's worth the risk, support tor and has other good features, i think it's a good bet and will rise a lot
3070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long is a long-term hodl? on: June 10, 2017, 02:41:58 PM
Assuming that, nowadays, BTC's hodl could be as long as 5 or even 10 years from now.
How long is a long time hodl in alt-coins?
For example, if I'm looking to hodl ARK/STRAT/XMR, what is the right time-frame? is it just for a few months to a 1 year, or can I leave them for 5 years with the hope of weathering the storms and coming out strong?
And besides, do these kind of coins have a 5-10 year lifespan?

i think 1-2 years sometimes, some coins increase a lot after 1 year, look at lbry for example it remined there for one year at very low level after the first pump and now it's increasing, other coin can be pumped after two years like feathercoin or spreadcoin
3071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Recommandations for NVIDIA rigs ? on: June 10, 2017, 02:40:37 PM
asus and palit are the best for me, i would suggest also to not go with 1060 i think 1070 and 1080 are betetr option now, they have better density if you have a small farm, you would save on the other components
3072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Feathercoin [FTC] - time proven, fast, secure and unique POW coin on: June 10, 2017, 12:35:07 PM
will this coin add somethign interested other than pump and dump? like segwit for example, or anonymous payment? i feel this coin have potential but it luck many good features, what are the plan now for this one, si the dev still active or mia?

Classic, everyone now wants segwit, I bet you dont even know what it does. - Feathercoin doesnt have any block-size issue, its a lot faster than ltc or btc, so no urgent need for it. - Feathercoin has stealth-adress already, look it up on the forum. Devs are still active, main devs are @Ghostlander and @Lizhi

Kindly regards,
ChekaZ

i know what segwit do, it' just create more room for the block limit, without actually rising the block limit, it remove some space from the block and you can then fill more transaction, i know that feathercoin i have not block issue,. because it has 1 minute block, but my point is that now segwit look good for the hype and can help the price to grow
3073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Difficulty speculation on: June 09, 2017, 08:12:11 PM
why people thinkt he diff is locked now? i still see the diff increasing in all the coin on whattomine, and i can easily buy gpu on amazon, if i can everyone can, there is no shortage of gpu, there are plenty available
What? None of the good mining gpus are available on Amazon or anywhere else for the matter unless you want to pay 3 or 4 times retail.

what you are talking about i see plenty of 1070 available https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=1070, many arrive on 12 june, which is not 28 days

I don't know anyone who mines on nvidia. That's not to say it doesn't happen... Higher price (easily 1.5x to 2x the cost of AMD for the same hashrate) which means longer return.. Lack of cuda optimization in many miners. Noobs are going to be looking for AMD because that's all anyone ever talks about for ETH. Larger farms are looking for returns, paying twice the price for the same hashrate doesn't make financial sense.

what??? nvidia is very profitable at the moment, you don't mine ETH with nvidia, and it's not 2x the value for the same return, with skei or x17 nvidia is doing more than amd, much more, i can't see the reason to buy amd now

Small miners buying GPUs off of amazon are a drop in the ocean.

The real shortage is for larger miners not able to get bulk orders through right now.

In a month when AMD has more chips out, you better bank on all of them going direct to farms and difficulty spiking.

100 small miners buying 10 gpu each isn't different from 1 big farm buying 1000, what i'ms aying is that the diff is increasing even now, people are adding gpu

Hi, someone could report the hashrate of mining with gpu nvidia 1070, Or if they can tell me the hashrate of any amd GPU or Nvidia
Thank you

http://yiimp.ccminer.org/bench?algo=bitcore&chip=0
what profit of mining this coin? anybody can tell me ? Huh

good profit now, more than before, the price is rising again, my 6 x 1070 can give me 0.02 with this coin, which is really good compared to other coin on whattomine
3078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ħ [HODL] 5% Interest. No Staking Req. Term Deposits 10%. Solo Mining. on: June 09, 2017, 03:09:33 PM
i don't remember now, but if i hold again my balance that is now free to be used, do i get the same interest as the last year? or it is reduced?, how much is the reduction? i don't if it's worth to do it agian i see the price is increasing, or by waiting another year i would lose the possible pump, very tricky
3079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: June 09, 2017, 03:06:03 PM

3080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wich cryptocurrency is the most promising? on: June 09, 2017, 03:04:32 PM
all the cheap coin are promising now, they are all pumped, i like to hold these cheap coin, real potential is everythign now, everything is pumped, i'm going to hold several altcoin, 1% each just to have the best odds if soem of them increase a lot, but i really like for now netko, bitcore and spreadcoin, they look very promising and will increase a lot in the future
