Heroic will compete in this tournament without "Stavn" Martin in the Blast World Final, the last event of the year. In October K0nfig, Astralist's reserve contracts were terminated for some reason. He will now play in the Lan game tournament for the first time since October. What do you think about this tournament, will it be useful for the Heroic team?

Stavn is an integral part of Heroic. Even though we have cadiaN literally carrying the team on some maps, stavn is a key part of it by giving his team opening kills and opening a part of the map that is locked for the taking. Whoever will be standing in for him must have to fill in big shoes. Lots of eyes will be locked on him and hopefully that replacement fits in very nicely on the said team.
3062  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Japan fall behind in the crypto industry ? on: December 04, 2022, 08:01:46 PM
Japan obviously know the tech. They obviously know what there is to know about crypto, they just chose not to focus on it becase there are other areas that they focused on before entering crypto. They have exchanges and are putting a considerable amount of volume in the market, so I don't think they are lagging behind in any way.
3063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Types Of Online Casinos To Avoid.. on: December 04, 2022, 02:02:11 PM
I avoid such casinos like the plague. If they can't be bothered to establish their online presence, why should I even go out my own way to figure out what they have to offer. I ain't one to fck around and find out, I'll just go to online casinos which established themselves in the field and are known across the industry. That will save me a lot of frustration, anxiety, and regret should this obscure casino turned out to be a scam.
3064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Must it be the last game? on: December 04, 2022, 01:38:23 PM
I usually use that as a sign to stop betting altogether. If I already encountered a loss on a game that should have been a win, I just call it a day and not really think about it for the next few hours and just hope to make good bets and get some great value games in my next session. Just don't get it to your head and you'll eventually be fine with losing even if you have a great win streak in your belt.
3065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can crypto exchagnes regain users trust with PoR? on: December 03, 2022, 08:48:56 PM
I think this isn't enough for an exchange to win the trust of its patrons. Letting other people know that you have X amount of reserves for your stablecoin is one thing, and just being a trustworthy exchange is another. People will never bother checking yet another coin if PoR is tokenized (lol) if they already know the exchange has its stablecoins. Knowing how much money the exchange has in reserves is a good to know info, but I guess for the most part it doesn't really matter to us normal users (except if the platform has its own stablecoins).

I feel like Eternal fire is being reborn. Of course, this is not to look at the results in the Turkish league, but the game is very enjoyable. Especially there is a very good performance increase in some players. Imorr and calyx performed well in the last 2 games. Imorr seems to be performing very well after switching to awper role in the team. It seems like he hasn't lost anything from his awp play. The team seems to be better this way. Let's see what the future tournaments will show us.

They are still finding their form and I guess it's okay. A lot of people have vested their full trust on this roster hence why a lot of people are expecting for EF to always perform well however that's not always the case. Even though this team has a lot of great riflers and raw aims, you can't still deny that they are a developing team that is slowly finding their strengths over time the more they played as one.
3067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: under-age gamblers on: December 03, 2022, 10:08:40 AM
Sometimes it's not the regulation but the enforcement of the said regulations. I see a lot of countries have this pretty black-and-white rule against underage gambling, yet the problem remains because the countries themselves do not actively enforce this law unless they will receive reports of it happening rampantly and it gets publicized and they are criticized. This is what's happening in my country too, and people will never really care about the problem unless it gets its way into the national television. You can't really blame the laws; they are there but they don't work because those who enforce said laws are always absent in doing their job.
3068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would be an ideal KYC solution? on: December 02, 2022, 08:10:34 PM
A reasonable trigger threshold would be a good solution, although apart from that I can't think of anything else. They cannot really compromise with the government on what they say they will do in terms of KYC, as for sure this is still monitored by the government they are under on. Perhaps they can be more forgiving on new users re: KYC and only ask for kne when they reached a certain amount before they need to submit documents. For existing users I guess if there is an irregularity, or if a user wins beyond a certain limit, that is when the second round of KYC should be given, otherwise let it be voluntary.

Team Secret's FB page posted that within just a few moments, they're going to have an announcement and I think that's the replacement of Nisha and it all escalated too quick.

Too sad that Nisha really has to go after 4 years but I think there's a better opportunity that has been offered to him. If Nisha goes to Team Liquid then he's still with a good team.

Edit: Team Secret already announced Boom as their mid player. --> https://twitter.com/teamsecret/status/1598663300983984128

and here's the article from Team Secret webpage : https://teamsecret.gg/blogs/dota-2/welcome-boom

I just hope Boom will be able to fill up the shoe that Nisha left in Team Secret. Like you said, 4 years is a long time playing with the team. There will be a lot of adjustments especially for Boom to fit the gaming style of the 4 Team Secret left in the team.

Is it confirmed that Nisha will be playing for team Liquid? First it was Topson, now Nisha. Both players are mid laners so Micke has to adjust to become the offlaner or Nisha will transition to carry offlaner. Whateve position he transition to, hopefully he fits well to his new team.

Weird. I thought Team Secret will remain intact after a strong 2nd finish at TI. And I thought that if in case they will drop someone it'll be Crystallis. Nisha is still very young and is already well-experienced, he will surely receive a lot of good offers. Team Liquid is probably the best team that needs a carry right now and the positioning can also be a valid reason to just look for another player since Nisha transitioned himself already as a great mid-lane.

Meanwhile, Gaimin Gladiators didn't just lose BOOM as they also parted ways with their coach ImmortalFaith who is now with Nigma Galaxy. Nigma Galaxy despite the fact that they performed weakly last season is still keeping its full players.

This is what's weird with me. There are obviously 2 weak links in this team and they still haven't figured out what to do with it. Kuro needs to be benched, be replaced with someone better in the 5 position and can keep up with the current meta mechanically and ideally. Dude's lacking in a lot of aspect and his team still follows him blindly. Unfortunately for Miracle, GH and MC, they are stuck with the bald guy because they believe that he can make it up to them. Idk hopefully ImmortalFaith can do something on the coaching aspect of NGX, but I probably have an idea that Kuro is still the one making the calls no matter what the coach says.
3070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Unconventional Betting Strategy on: December 01, 2022, 11:37:18 PM
How does it minimize your losses anyway? I agree to the other points but not on this one. You will equally be getting/doing the same number of bets if you're alone anyway, just not the amount of money you put in. Unless if your friend is some kind of a god or some sort in sports betting that is. It only helps you pool your money for better payout, spend more time in decision making and that's it, risk of losing remains the same.
3071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gambling today and lesson i learnt (lost 2000 usd today) on: December 01, 2022, 10:45:52 PM
Gambling is fine as long as you know your limits. If you don't, chances are you'll be putting yourself in a position wherein you will lose in the long run. It will be hard to stop that mindset once you already got the hang of chasing losses and playing for more than what you should in an effort to make more money/chase what you loss. It's a very expensive lesson but hey, at least you got out of the bad habit before it's too late.
3072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are stablecoins safe? on: November 28, 2022, 11:57:53 PM
There is no guarantee that stable coins will be safe, learning from experience in the LUNA case, even stable coins can collapse if the main support collapses. I only use stable coins that have been proven to have a strong foundation, such as BUSD and USDT.

Stablecoins will only be safe if the issuer releases proof that they hold assets equivalent to what they put out in the market. They can easily write whatever figure they wanted written in there and people won't notice until someone in the group calls them out for it. Even big names like Binance and Tether need to be audited for their assets and their stablecoins. You cannot create money out of thin air, and it's easy to do that on stablecoins without a sweat, you just have to have some followers and a very promising and catchy offer.
3073  Economy / Economics / Re: Is a ban on Retirees Cypto Account a fair deal? on: November 28, 2022, 11:47:24 PM
In a way this is to protect them somewhat. Those people built whatever savings they have right now for a good few years, and if they aren't that experienced enough in handling these assets they'd see their money go down the drain in a very heartbreaking manner. While this seems controlling whatever they're trying to impose, it still puts the best interest of seniors and pensioners in mind. Still a better thing to do than let those savings go somewhere else these guys won't even enjoy, and perhaps at their age they shouldn't even bother investing at all.
3074  Economy / Gambling / Re: How To Access gambling site without VPN on: November 28, 2022, 11:17:33 PM
I hope you know that this will not always work on some crypto casinos that you can see on the internet. There are some crypto casinos that has strong scanning tools that can flitter where you are and from where you are using there website. Unless they don't want to bother you and just want you to keep playing there since you are adding to there traffics which can be very important to them to make more money.

The latter sentence is what's actually happening. They don't want to track you, they just want you to deposit and spend your money in their platform as much as possible. The only time they'll bother you is when you start winning too much and you're taking more than what you're putting inside the casino. Most of the time they'll turn a blind eye on you for using VPNs to bypass restrictions. I've seen it happen a lot and I don't think that changed even up to now.
3075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many of you believe in Litecoin? on: November 28, 2022, 10:53:36 PM
Used to have some stash on litecoin but realized that they are all just the same in the end. They will all go up if bitcoin's price up, and go down if bitcoin's price go down. If all alts dependency on bitcoin remains, their market movements and patterns will remain similar, Litecoin hasn't had a very remarkable upgrade in the last few years which makes it as stale as it can be. The only reason its value holds up is because it was the first altcoin, and a lot of interest on its value (not with its tech) has been vested by a lot of early adopters in the past.
3076  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Profitable and Growing Casino Website for Sale on: November 28, 2022, 09:38:50 PM
If your platform is making such turnovers every year, then it's safe to say that your platform is somewhat known and has enough patrons to support your growing business and continue moving forward. I would understand if your reason of selling is because you want to handle another business, but it kinda gets sketchy if you managed to get that amount of turnover in just a year, without ever having an instance of going under. Also, you did not specify what kind of a gambling platform are you. Are you a sportsbook, a casino, or both? That would also help interested buyers gauge their profitability and their interest on what you're selling.

Honestly, I expected faze to win, but karrigan and rain had a terrible game, especially karrigan who dragged the team's performance down. As far as I know, Cadian is the igl player of the heroic team, both awper and igl. When you are a two-way player, this contributes a lot. In this way, both as a frag and his contribution to the game is good.We can say that the team is rising in terms of firepower.I think it was a tournament won thanks to Cadian. He was the player who made the difference.

Karrigan is still a good IGL but not so much of a fragger. He needs to learn to use his utilities more rather than trying to outgun their opponents who are better than him in raw aim and skill. Cadian knows his place in the team and he sticks with it quite well.  He's not limited to the awp but he can entry with rifles too. Their executes in the site and retake just goes to show how well Heroic studied FaZe leading to their victory in a surprising yet convincing fashion. FaZe needs to have their guns dusted and their skills sharpened if they want to win another tournament in the near future. Ropz just gave his all but it isn't enough to convert  it to a win unfortunately.
3078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How was your first attempt to play gambling on: November 28, 2022, 03:00:51 PM
I had some working knowledge on gambling particulary sports betting. I started playing with serious money back when I was in the latter years of high school. Dota 2 betting with items started really booming back then, and I remember making my way from rares to arcanas in just 2 weeks. I think I managed to win over a thousand dollars in just a short span of time until I got busy with life and started taking up jobs to fund my college studies. It was the first serious attempt into gambling and it was quite successful, but was cut short unfortunately.
3079  Economy / Gambling / Re: Black Friday fever: do you wait for extra bonuses from casinos? on: November 28, 2022, 06:54:51 AM
The World Cup produced more bonuses than Black Friday.

Not surprised. World Cup is a much-anticipated event by a lot of gamblers and bookies alike. Bookies often use this as a leverage to promote their platform hard, and for that to happen, they will have to give massive bonuses on top of what they are already offering on their site. Black Friday is a yearly thing and I think most platforms already have a set/target bonus that they can give out which gamblers will still happily take on without taking much of a hit on their engagement.
3080  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake MSI Afterburner Sites Delivering Coin-Miner on: November 27, 2022, 11:54:41 PM
I always do scans before I install, and I guess it should be a common practice now that almost every app out there can be infected with miners and other such unwanted malware that could destroy your pc. I think we've already had this similar issue with AMD drivers a year or two again, but this time hackers are really clever because they targeted a software that may not seem to be the cause of spikes in GPU usage because it's an overclocking tool. For everyone who wants to OC their cards to achieve whatever performance they want, just go to their official site and scan for any potential threats. Better spend that extra minute or two than regretting everything in the end.
