3061  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anybody know why Coinport is closing? on: July 25, 2015, 05:47:06 AM
exit scam? bankrupt? i dont know.

but dont store large amounts of your coins in an online wallet.

It is not a scam if they notice users about it.
And here is their facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/coinport and there is nothing about bancrupcy or closing the business.
3062  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why You Should NEVER Deposit To Primedice on: July 25, 2015, 05:28:07 AM
Do you have any proof that your bets will be rigged if you bet using the max button.
So far, I have not seen any proof that Primedice is rigged although there are lots of accusation.
It is quite possible, but really hard to prove and need a lot of testing, as there are not many people playing using max button.
It is the same debate as "I lost 10 times in a row! Primedice must be rigged!" - but these kind of topics are usually created by angry gamblers who lost their coins.
With max button it might be the same.
3063  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack tournament on: July 25, 2015, 05:02:26 AM
Unfortunately if you want to play online tournaments Blackjack is not the best choice. As others said, there is no demand for this kind of tournaments.
Majority of people play blackjack vs house exclusively and they don't care about tourneys. I doubt that you can do something about it, even if you suggest this topic to some leading casinos.
3064  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Method on how to get any permanently banned LOL account unbanned [EUW] on: July 24, 2015, 10:45:40 AM
not sure which mod moved it into services section but clearly they're not paying attention since this is not a service. Just selling the method.
Technically it can be called a service, as op sells you knowledge how to do something. But that is not a point here. I think this is illegal to share information like that (even tho I am not so sure this method is real).
I think if you are banned in LoL you are banned for a reason, they won't ban some random people just because.
3065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OpenBazaar to Launch this November, Targets Unhappy Ebay Users on: July 24, 2015, 10:09:30 AM
I am not sure there are that many 'unhappy' ebay users to grow into user base of Openbazaar. To be honest I think we need only ebay acceptance of BTC transactions.
As I am afraid OpenBazaar will be seen as 'lite' version of black market by many people.
3066  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: bitcoin loans on: July 24, 2015, 09:00:18 AM
System of that bitcoin loans is not that hard to create. There are already services and dedicated websites for this. We even have somewhat big section here on bitcointalk for that purpose.
But do we really need it? Do we really need another spiral of debt in bitcoin world? For now borrowing bitcoin could be riskier that fiat because of the volatility, why would anyone want that?
3067  Other / Off-topic / Re: Insider look at the current banking system on: July 24, 2015, 08:42:15 AM
All of that will get automated by Bitcoin and it's blockchain, but it will come with a price, you and them will probably go unemployed because the blockchain will be more effective than all of you, but the good news is BTC price will go so high by then that you'll be able retire if you are holding any decent amount.
I would not count on it that much. Banks and financial institutions will find a way to grab your money no matter what - their survival is at stake here.
Blockchain will simplify everything, but I bet Banks will hire even more people to help 'service' this new tech and will require new fees just for that.
3068  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 6 Things You Missed from the State of Bitcoin on: July 23, 2015, 01:00:14 PM
I like that more bitcoin facts are positive and there are no clearly bad news and big problems in the bitcoin world.
The most concerning fact is of course that China-based miners are now the majority and I don't like that focused power over bitcoin network they could have.
The other 'problem' that bitcoin is still not popular with consumers is rather insignificant as userbase is growing and will grow bigger over time.
3069  Economy / Gambling / Re: DaDice.com - Next Gen Social Gambling Dice Experience | Progressive Jackpot on: July 23, 2015, 12:52:50 PM
i have bad lagging at firefox can u fix that, thank

Try switching to Lite version. Smiley
You can find the option at the bottom of the page.
lite version work fine for me all lag is over Wink

Thanks for the feedback. Seems there it was once again a Cloudflare related lag.
That is CloudFlare at its best. As of March 2014, CloudFlare was ranked in the top 10 of the world's worst hosts and networks based on malicious traffic it hosts by SiteVet Beta.
It was also ranked in the 7th rank among the top 50 Bad Hosts by Host Exploit. It is nice too see that they are still are on top of bad performance. I wonder if there is a way to not use their services?
3070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you expect from dice sites? on: July 23, 2015, 11:45:34 AM
I believe a 100% win-rate dice would be nice, but it's not going to happen Wink
But something like 80% win rate is perfectly doable imo. Multiplayers would be really, really low and you could bet only with peanuts so you won't get rich from it but it is perfectly possible.
But earning rate from this would rather be close to faucet level that any real gambling.
3071  Economy / Gambling / Re: I am creating a primedice calculator. on: July 23, 2015, 11:19:12 AM
Thanks for this, it is definitely a valuable tool. I've always wanted a calculator to find the chance of losing a bet x times in a row.
But you realize that if you are counting probability of something then exact numbers of wins and loses are not gonna be possible to find?
Thats is why it is called probability. You could assume, if calculator which can show you how much you will win existed Dice would not be called gambling anymore.
3072  Economy / Gambling / Re: 100,000 Satoshi EVERY HOUR! on: July 22, 2015, 02:48:50 PM
250 satoshi and a 100000 jackppot it's too low :/
That is right. People often don't realize how puny amount this is. As $1 is currently 359,518 Satoshi so 100.000 is like 30 cents.
I guess only newbies and people who actually have no idea what satoshi is and how it is calculated can waste time on 'gamble' like that.
It is fine if you play because like the idea, you won't earn anything this way.
3073  Economy / Gambling / Re: Favorite poker sites? on: July 22, 2015, 01:07:28 PM

You can play Hold'em, Black Jack and Roulette live.
3074  Economy / Economics / Re: Debit cards with a reasonable limit per year on: July 22, 2015, 11:47:34 AM
I was wondering if anyone knew a company or services which provides debit cards anonymously with a reasonable limit. For example, Bit-x provides debit cards, yet if ou want to use it anonymous you can only withdraw 250 dollars per year!! I'm looking for a service like Bit-x, only with a higher limit for anonymous users, anyone can point me in the right direction?

I'm not going to register, because then I can just use any service provider like Bitfinex or Bitonic, my motivation is that I wish to withdraw bitcoins anonymously.

Anyone know such a service provider?

Hmm in regards with Bit-x, I think they have some confirmation process on your identity for you to withdraw larger amounts. Most debit card providers do this to ensure their own safety so that in case a user did some foul move, they can at least contact the user and know their whereabouts. As for the anonymous user, idk how could that be achieved.
It can't, that is the problem for people who want to be anonymous. Using Debit/credit cards are never good idea if you want to keep your identity secret.
Bitcoin debit card is no different your every transaction is being recorded and above some rather low limit you need to provide your full ID.
Anonymity is fiction while using it.
3075  Economy / Economics / Re: Can economies grow ad infinitum? on: July 22, 2015, 10:36:01 AM
I think it is one of the primary laws of the economy. I don't think endless economic growth is possible but people are acting like it is.

Growth that it is not possible to sustain (make continue) without causing economic problems economic growth that it is not possible to sustain without causing environmental problems.

3076  Economy / Economics / Re: Ridiculous Banking Fee's on: July 21, 2015, 12:07:38 PM
You don't use it, simple. You "boycott" their services and promote something that goes directly against it...(Bitcoin  Wink)

To add to this, any type of service, whether it be PayPal or Western Union, has extreme fees sending international payments. Between conversion fees with currencies and cuts the service takes, you're looking at a major cut in all outgoing transactions. Nothing compared to the miners fee, though.
It will be a good way if all people were aware of the problem. But people are being oblivious and kept in the dark. They are living in the scheme of economic slavery and we need to teach them that old system is not helping them and instead is robbing them from their money. If 10 or 20 people boycott bank services it won't be enough...
3077  Economy / Economics / Re: VC firms bullish on Bitcoin potential on: July 20, 2015, 11:39:54 AM
I guess for the day traders it is more profitable to stay in the lower digits (thus manipulating price), as making x % gains is easier at 100 than at 1000 worth.

Would be interesting when there are better exchanges around and actual rules against price manipulation what would happen.
Wouldn't that 'price anti-manipulation' rule be in opposition to basic bitcoin principle - freedom? What you ask is regulation so severe that it would shake bitcoin fillars.
And bitcoin would be no different that FIATs which are manipulated by governments and financial agencies.
3078  Economy / Economics / Re: Hong Kong ranks second in the world for competitiveness in annual IMD study on: July 20, 2015, 11:19:48 AM
From what I can see there Hong Kong is great place to start your business and company. Knowing Hong Kong law and competitiveness on that field no surprise there.
Also if you are presenting info of this sort please include a link in the future. I would like to read full article.
3079  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-06-19]DMT - Living Room of Satoshi Lets Australians Pay Bills with Bitcoin on: July 20, 2015, 11:10:56 AM
This is not good at all another greedy company want to capitalize on fees. Here is what you have to do to pay bill 'in bitcoin'. This is how this service works in EU.
First, you will need some Bitcoins, the IBAN code for the recipient, and his/her BIC code. Using the service comes at a small fee of 1% of the total amount, + the standard SEPA payment fee of 0.95 EUR

More fees please.
3080  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-07-20]DMT- Zinger Uses Bitcoin For Instant Remittance Solution in The Phil on: July 20, 2015, 11:05:44 AM
I don't get it. Why people need another 3rd party company to be able to send bitcoins? There is no need for that. Why don't you install bitcoin wallet and send bitcoin. It is that easy.
This company has one goal, to earn money from money transfer fees.
