First week is over after three matches today. Trabzonspor started great, even though Yeni Malatyaspor is not on their level this start is still impressive. They scored five goals and four of them was in first half. Bakasetas, Nwakaeme, Gervinho, Hamsik all started great and scored a goal. Djaniny also scored from penalty in second half. Konyaspor beat Sivasspor in away game, Cikalleshi scored in last minutes. This is one of the surprising results in Super League first week.
Finally in last game of first week Galatasaray beat newly promoted team Giresunspor with two goals. It was full of controversy. There were two red cards and two penalties. First penalty was wrong because that foul wasn't inside the box. I don't know what VAR do, I hope we won't see these wrong calls anymore. Luckily Diagne missed it and justice was served. Second penalty was right call and this time Diagne didn't try again, instead of him Cicaldau scored. In second half there were interesting position. We don't really know what happened but Marcao ran 30 meters and fought with his teammate. I wish he gets what he deserves, we don't want to see these type of behavior in the pitch.
I agree amazing play by Trabzonspor in the first match.They destroyed Malatyaspor in the first half.Didnt expect from Trabzonspor to get so many experienced players and such good ones.They are playing really good and next to Besiktas i expect them to fight for the title. |

Bad start for me in the pool too, it is what it is though. At least Liverpool started well though, that makes me happy. We are so much better with Van Dijk back from injury. Yeah Liverpools defence is looking really good currently. I dont like the midfield much,the attack is still the same. Salah again is brilliant at start of the season that is promising for Liverpool. Van Dijk is so much better on the defence then Fabinho who played the entire last season on his spot and that isnt his position at all |

And Dortmund don't make me surprised in their game against Frankfurt now. Dortmund ended the first half 3-1 ahead and it is going on like that. Haaland is playing awesome again as he has scored 1 goal and made 2 assists so far. This young lad is a very valuable player. Dortmund must be very grateful that he is still at the team.
if E. Haaland and R. Lewandowski play the entire bundesliga this season, there will be a battle for the top scorer between the two world-class strikers  i don't see any other striker in the bundesliga who could be a threat to either of them... I agree both Haaland and Lewandowski are amazing strikers and they will fight for the golden boot. But if Lewandowski continues scoring like last season Haaland wont stand a chance honestly. Watching the Liverpool vs Norwich game at the moment is quite exciting although I believe Liverpool will win and from possession of the ball Norwich is quite depressed. Several times seen the Norwich players almost committed a violation because they were 1 goal behind Liverpool. i guess this match will end with final score 3-0 for Liverpool.
Currently Norwich is just defending and having the ball in possesion while Liverpool continues to press against their defence. Liverpool is playing really bad currently,they scored the goal by pure luck and will need to do much better. But i personally think that Norwich dosent belong in the EPL at all. It's not surprising to see Aston Villa struggling after selling Jack Grealish to Manchester City. He was their most critical player and had a big role on their successes. Today, they couldn't resist Watford. Watford made the score 3-0. Aston Villa managed to decrease the goal difference to 1 but they couldn't prevent themselves from losing 3-2. It must be good for Watford to start with a victory in the EPL.
Without Grealish this season Aston villa will fight hard to not get relegated. They lost to the newcomer in the leauge and that is not a good sign at all. They should try and sign a few players from the money they made selling Grealish or it wont look good for them at all in the next matches |

I also find the match between PSV and Benfica very interesting. Those are two teams that are evenly matched. There are also teams in the last round that make you wonder if they are worthy to play in the main tournament. But the cash register does ring well.
That match will be really intresting to watch. Two hardcore teams and top of their league every year playing. But as far as i watched and analysed PSV i think they will be in advantage in this duel. If Zahavi plays like he does i think they have a lock win. They already destroyed Galatasaray |

Great escape by Medvedev but it was not that easy, I also lost on the Bautista-Agut vs Opelka. I have Bautista-Agut on the handicapped by Opelka was in the zone in the second set tie-break.
So it's now Tsitsipas vs Opelka and then Medvedev vs Isner.
We wish that it will be Tsitsipas vs Medvedev in the finals in Toronto, that will be a interesting match.

Yes but even though there is no doubt Federer and Nadal are extremely professional as well, I can imagine that Djokovic takes it to the next level when it comes to health nutrition and lifestyle. Maybe he is a bit similar to Ronaldo in that regard. So it is possible that Djokovic does have another five years on the absolute highest level left in the tank.
Djokovic has his age advantage and if he doesn't get injured than chances are high that he will be able to compete on the highest level for the next couple of years. Could you elarobate what Djokovic does special for his health nutrition? He stopped eating gluten but that's about it I think. Well Djokovic dosent eat meat at all. He is a vegeterian as far as i know. He has special diets and special food just meant for him. Thats why he is still currently on the top level. He also o most never gets injured. I think that Beşiktaş will become the champion again this year with Sergen coach, I can say that Beşiktaş had a good transfer period. Minutes later, we will watch the Beşiktas-Çaykur Rizespor match, the first match of the Super League will be played. I would normally bet over 2.5 for this match, but Beşiktaş has a problem with both the first match and the forward player, so ı don't think Beşiktaş will score many goals. I will not bet on 1.25 odds, I will just be a spectator for this match. I hope we have a good and no trouble season in the Super League.
I agree Besiktas will probobly win again the title this season even tho its really early to say. Galatasaray is really bad from what we seen in Europe so far. Nothing new with Arsenal this season again and awful play by them . Arteta is a really bad manager and i think he should have been sacked a longtime ago. Even missing Auba and Lacazzete they should have played much better against a newcomer in the league. Arsenal just became a middle place team

For me its unrealistic that some amature teams play other amature teams and that teams like Partizan play really hard opponents and they earned a lot of points in the previous years in europe
yeah, we got two teams from top leagues that have no previous Europe experience, so ranked low, but could not get to Europe from Russia or Portugal league, if not strong on the other hand, there are some pairs between Flora and Shamrock, Riga and Lincoln, Fola and Almaty seems that draw was in direction to have some smaller teams in group stage, since Roma is playing Trabzon, Tottenham is playing Ferreira, PAOK is playing Rijeka, all teams that have better coefficient comparing to above mentioned nevertheless, I believe that we will kick-out Santa Clara @Joca97 I’m yet putting my head around this league and trying to figure how they have ranked the teams, but after reading @CasperBGD post I’m now starting to understand how they’re ranked. Also I feel that Roma will want to win this trophy, because I doubt they’ll qualify in top 4 hence winning this trophy is their best shot at winning something in this season. This competition isnt weak at all. When the group stage starts from 4 teams in the group 1 team will probobly be weak. Other 3 teams will be strong,not as strong as the champions league but strong for this league. This is the first time this competition is being played so everyone will want to win it for the first time |
