3061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: June 19, 2022, 10:37:09 PM
Girona won vs Tenerife and will play again in La Liga after a couple of years from relegation. They will join La Liga with Almeria and Valladolid after the relegation of Grenada, Levante and Alaves.
I find the relegating teams more powerful than these and I am not sure if they can resist there. I think 2 of them at least will relegate by the end of the season.
3062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 19, 2022, 10:23:29 PM
Lukaku is probably coming back to Inter and with Dybala, they will have a good attack.

Dybala-Lautaro-Lukaku

Maybe even too goo and they will end to sell Lautaro.
Spurs is interested in buying Lautaro, Conte knows him and the club seems ready to give a nice offer for him.
Inter will not sell him if both Lukaku and Dybala won't be in, eventually these two are almost with Inter so I assume Inter will let him go once the contracts are signed.
Just one point that needs to be mentioned, the contract of LM will end in 2026, so Inter can ask Spurs whatever they want to let him go to them.

Will he get higher salary with Bayern Munich than get from Liverpool last season or he has another reason why leaving Liverpool.
Yes, he will and Yes it was all about the money.
Honestly I respect his decision even if it was 100% about money. Whether you treat everyone the same whether you have to accept the underpaid guys to leave.
I can't work in a place where I am working hard and get paid half what the others receiving.. It is unfair.
If we take it from another perspective, AFAIK Mane is doing many charity actions in his native village, not sure how accurate that was but to say that he isn't "hungry" about the money.
3064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 19, 2022, 04:49:24 PM
Whether Ronaldo goes to Roma or not, one thing is certain for me that Roma should make their squad more powerful in the summer. They made a big improvement generally last season. Jose Mourinho's coming there helped the team a lot about being more successful. They won the Europa Conference League. It must be time they were more successful in the Serie A as well. If they bring the right players to strengthen their squad they can fight for top 4 very seriously.
CR7 joined Juve which in my opinion was more powerful than Roma but they failed to add something. I don't see him able to add something alone for Roma.
If Roma want to claim an european league, or fight for the scudetto they have to strengthen the whole team. I have no doubt about Mourinho abilities and CR7 ones but a single player won't achieve anything alone!
I will wait for the end of the transfer window to have a clearer idea about Roma and the other teams. So far I don't see a game changing transfers.
3065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 18, 2022, 10:54:37 PM
Benzema is rumored to extending his contract with Real Madrid.
Juventus is maybe going for Koulibaly from Naples.
Inter is close to getting Lukaku back from Chelsea on Loan.

Barca will probably not go for Lewa.

Di Maria will give a final decision to Juve before Monday.
The captain will remain in Real Madrid until the end then he might change league to retire.
For Lukaku, a loan seems to be logical after only 1 season..
For Lewandowski, I hear everyday a rumour about him. Yes he will join and Bayern will allow him after Sadio Mane joining them, then tomorrow you hear, no he will not join, Barca can't pay...etc
3066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: June 18, 2022, 10:49:32 PM
About Ronaldo to return to Real Madrid, I really don't know about that.
I really expect this,
But seeing the characteristic of Real Madrid, this club seems not to be a club that will get an old player, they will probably prefer to invest in a younger player to be added to the squad.
However, we will not know if this is about Ronaldo, maybe there is an expectation.
Ronaldo is more identical to Real Madrid, but don't know enough if they still have a chance to be together or not. Or maybe Ronaldo will move to Bayern?
I really doubt that Real Madrid will ever accept CR7 in the team again. The way he left the team, let his teammates and the club in a difficult situation, all of this will make all of them refuse to see him again. Besides, his salary and his age will make it difficult for the team to build a future gameplay and tactics.
CR7 was linked to PSG so he can play with Messi. I don't think this will be possible although for marketing reasons it seems to be an attractive idea.
There is Roma where Mourinho seems to be in favour of him joining them. There is some rumours about Sporting too but I doubt he will end his career now.
3067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 18, 2022, 10:37:00 PM
I have looked at the odds for winning the Serie A in Italy. Not unexpectedly, Inter is favorite to win the title with 2.0
Juventus is just below it, but it doesn't really matter. Ac Milan is around 4.0, but they still became champions last season. Perhaps not so much because of the good game, but mainly because of Juventus' failure in the first half of the season. After the winter, Juventus put things in order, but the backlog was huge. Inter and Juventus will compete for the championship.
I remember seeing PSG the favourite team to win Champions League in the previous season but it was kicked before the finals and these odds were even before Messi joining them.. Just to say that these odds aren't accurate and many things could change by the end of transfer window.
I personally think that Juve could achieve something this season and the fight for the scudetto will be between them, Inter and Milan.
3068  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin price is falling? on: June 18, 2022, 10:29:26 PM
The fall in price can be connected with the following

  • Record high inflation.
  • Increased interest rate.
  • Traditional market failure.
  • Oil crisis out of war.
  • Food shortage around the world.
  • Next wave of covid-19.
This is applicable for all FIAT, cryptocurrencies, gold...etc but the biggest impact was on cryptocurrencies unfortunately. Although the market value of Bitcoin decreased a lot but the inflation rate on USA and other countries was big also which should impact FIAT, what I find weird is the illogical ratio between BTC/$. Besides, there isn't a stability between each step! It is like a free fall, without any kind of resistance and everyday? That big? Nothing could explain that except a pure manipulation from a consortium of big whales imo.
3069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: June 18, 2022, 08:56:58 AM
costa rica is now the last team to qualify for the 2022 world cup in qatar.
with a 1-0 win against new zealand, costa rica will now play in a world championship for the sixth time. the team will face germany, japan and spain in group e.
Nice group they have there. A premium ticket in the first plane going to America from Qatar Roll Eyes

I think the following countries will qualify...
Group A: Senegal / Netherlands
Group B: England/Wales (but maybe USA instead of Wales...)
Group C: Argentina / Mexico
Group D: France/Denmark
Group E: Spain / Germany
Group F: Belgium / Croatia
Group G: Brazil / Switzerland (but this is the hardest group to predict because it could go anywhere with Brazil...)
Group H: Portugal / Uruguay
Mine would be as follows:
Group A: Ecuador / Netherlands
Group B: England/Wales
Group C: Argentina / Mexico
Group D: France/Denmark
Group E: Spain / Germany
Group F: Belgium / Croatia
Group G: Brazil / Serbia
Group H: Portugal / Uruguay
It is still early to give prediction, we still have 5 months and many things could occur like a new pandemic, many injuries...
In the first look, I think Senegal is better than Ecuador. In group 2, a part England, every team could make a surprise. Group F too, is very challenging. Group G, Brazil and Serbia. The rest are quite easier and obvious.
3070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 18, 2022, 08:46:16 AM
The main reason he really wants to look for something new but on the other hand Bayern is something that is quite complex now. Bayern is one club that will almost certainly bring a trophy in every season, although not many, I think the trophy for the Bundesliga is almost certain to get.
As for Mane, maybe he wants to pursue something more there considering that even though he is at Liverpool he is already doing well but he is almost struggling to get personal achievements.
Getting a trophy, an achievement is something that every player wants to have. It might be partially true in the case of Mane but it isn't the only one. There is a hidden competition, rivalry, fight between him and the others. I remember he wasn't in a good mood with Salah previously for example that was solved later but what was almost obvious is the fact that he is receiving a lower salary than many others and Liverpool weren't planning to increase it. We are talking about half? what VD is taking, way under Salah and a bunch of other players. I am waiting to see his contract with Bayern to know whether the salary will increase a lot or just a little.
3071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 winner - Real Madrid! on: June 17, 2022, 11:04:33 PM
Few days left before the Champions League games resume.
I see there is a total of 3 games before the starting of 1st qualification round. It is clear which ones will pass to the next round when you see its names.

Manchester City seem to be determined about winning the Champions League title at least for once. They are making their transfer strategies according to this goal as well. They are trying to consolidate their midfield now as they have already done it for their attacking line by signing Erling Haaland. For the midfield, they are intensifying their attempts to sign Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips now. He is a 26-year-old skilled midfielder now. In the meantime, they are trying to sign Brighton left-back Cucurella also. We will see if this effort will be beneficial for them to make it.
City and PSG spent a lot of money to get that title mainly but they failed so far. I don't trust PSG a lot but City might achieve it in 2023
3072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 17, 2022, 10:56:36 PM
In the pair Frankfurt - Bavaria, in my opinion, Frankfurt is in great danger  Grin as Bayern will try to prove that this pair does not play the winner of the Euro Cup with the loser of the Euro Cup, but the current champion with an ordinary club.
Bayern first games generally end by a big victory but that doesn't mean that they sometimes miss it up. They will have Mane in the attack line, probably replacing Lewandowski. For Frankfurt, they will try to grab Mario Gotze among the other transfers. This game particularly might be challenging so let's wait until we get a better view on both teams days before the match.
3073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 17, 2022, 10:46:44 PM
So excited how the market transfer window is going. Alot of things are happening and amazing players have been transferred to their dream club like Nunez who is happy to be Liverpool and Haaland who's amazed to play in the Premier League for the very first time. Though, more shocking moves are on it's way like Mane sudden move to Bayern Munich. Next season might be seem difficult for teams that failed to sign players, because most clubs are busy strengthening their squad with more effective and talented players.
I wouldn't call Mane ambition to move to Bayern as shocking nor sudden. We are aware of that information weeks ago. Since the end of the Champions League, that was declared by him and Liverpool initially tried to convince him and not allow him to leave like that.
Things just moved faster and now he was allowed to join Bayern for something around €40m..
3074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: June 16, 2022, 10:32:58 PM
It's now the other way around, and they don't like it. It's the same thing they've done for years. I'm assuming the excitement will continue? There are problems for them because they expected Mbappé or Haaland to revive their Laliga league, which heavily relied on Messi and CR7 for viewers. I think Laliga and Tebas should just accept defeat and move on, they look so desperate, it's pathetic.
La Liga has always top players. Losing Messi and CR7, and not getting Mbappe and Haaland is a part of the game. Benzema, Vinicius Junior, Aubemayang popped up this year and were brilliant. Next year(s) we will surely see others as good as the previous.
I am wandering where is the Brazilians like R9, Roberto Carlos, Ronaldinho and the others? Neymar isn't that good comparing to these legends! Vinicius Junior still has a lot of work to do.
3075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: June 16, 2022, 10:18:33 PM
Honestly, I don't think Gareth Southgate can continue with the job. Gareth Southgate must resign after those humiliating results. I know that the Nations League matches aren't that important, but an important trailer for FIFA World Cup. If England doesn’t fix this team, they’ll get knocked out at group stages in the World Cup.
Southgate won't resign and it is unlikely to be sacked. He said that this (humiliating) defeat against Hungary should motivate him and the team to do better next time.
I don't think personally that France and England will perform as poorly in the World Cup as they did in Nations League. The motivation and the tension there will be different. The eyes of the whole nation are on them.
3076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: AFCON 2023 qualifiers. on: June 16, 2022, 09:56:08 PM
How could we not expect them to control the ball or play comfortably when facing a weak country as most of us have termed them @Sao Tome and Principe. Of course they would do better, given the fact that they still feel guilt from there failures in the concluded AFCON and failing to qualify for the world cup. Anyway, the 10 goals to nothing was something not expected and surely was enticing to see how they kept it coming, 3 goals in the first half and 7 goals in the second, it felt like a different super eagles and I hope they get to take that to the games proper when it starts.
Nigeria group is easy so we cannot judge properly about their skills and how far they recovered. Winning 10 - 0 even vs a weak team is something good imo. Not every team could achieve such thing.
The next matches are scheduled in September 2022 then March 2023 for them. That's quite long period.. We have World Cup in between but sadly for them, they weren't able to participate..
3077  Economy / Speculation / Re: $13,000 is quite possible this week on: June 16, 2022, 09:47:02 PM
It's possible also Bitcoin's current movement is unpredictable. I have seen on a Telegram group where people saying someone from NASDAQ predicts Bitcoin's bottom will be $13K. Although I don't believe it, but it's possible. Because everything is possible in crypto. But my personal opinion is the bottom would be $15K for Bitcoin and we can expect corrections from that points.
I hope Bitcoin will stand at the +20k level so we can see it raising again soon. I am worried a price under this level will make the resurrection of Bitcoin harder, I mean, it will take months or even years to see it getting back to +30-40k which is very upsetting for most people who bought above these levels. I believe many panicked and sold their savings. Personally I will keep it whatever it will cost in this short / medium term!
There's nothing wrong if it drops at $15k soon since that is the best time to buyback/reinvest before holding until the next bull market. But $15k is just too much I think maybe it will stay there then goes back to pump back again back to $20k+ since that is how volatile the market. But it's just too fast to think that the bottom would start this year or this month although the results showing that it is indeed going there.

That would be the nicer thing to happen for those investors which already secure their profits at high price and if the price of bitcoin would really go to $15k which I also think to much for sure many whales will do buy back because this is much cheaper reached compare to the ATH acquired before. So maybe this will be the valid grounds for investors to accumulate because they see this as golden stage to gain for another round again.
$15k doesn't make a sense for me. I am pretty sure all whales had Bitcoin bought at 2017 ATH or later. We are talking about 5 years period. How many whale was sleeping since? That's quite long period. Driving the price down that way is surely the role of panic selling and new whales entering the game to profit from the short fluctuations of the price.
Although I won't be bothered by the whatever bitcoin price will be next but I hope we stay over the $20k barrier. It is a psychological one imo.
3078  Other / Archival / Re: What do you expect from bitcoin in the second half of 2022? on: June 15, 2022, 10:21:05 PM
I always tend to see Bitcoin losing values in summer and getting it back and even more by the end of the year but this doesn't happen lately the way it used to be.
This summer was the worst obviously but it will give a chance to a nice recovery by Q4 of the year.
I am not very optimistic this year with all economical struggles but finishing 2022 with $40k would be a good start for the next year..
3079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: June 15, 2022, 09:56:38 PM
As of now, three of the most prestigious national teams have only won one match all together after the first four rounds of the League of Nations. In fact, France, Italy and England, the world champions and the two finalists from the last EURO, are the biggest disappointment of this season so far. I think that these results only show how irrelevant the League of Nations is to big national teams.
A league intended to replace friendlies ended up with the results of friendlies games. Unpredictable, random, weird...
France will end up 4th or 3rd in best cases. England too.
Meanwhile Turkey, Greece and Lettonie are the only ones to almost guarantee the 1st place before 2 rounds from the end of the group stage.
