3061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How the staking providers earn money ? on: April 04, 2021, 07:56:33 AM

You should use Google to know how staking system works. Here is a explanation from the Coinbase.

  What is staking?
Staking is the process of actively participating in transaction validation (similar to mining) on a proof-of-stake (PoS) blockchain. On these blockchains, anyone with a minimum-required balance of a specific cryptocurrency can validate transactions and earn Staking rewards.

How does staking work?
When the minimum balance is met, a node deposits that amount of cryptocurrency into the network as a stake (similar to a security deposit).
The size of a stake is directly proportional to the chances of that node being chosen to forge the next block.
If the node successfully creates a block, the validator receives a reward, similar to how a miner is rewarded in proof-of-work chains.
Validators lose part of their stake if they double-sign or attempt to attack the network.

Hope you understand. But be careful about scammers. There are many fake staking systems and all staking platforms aren't the same. For example, Yobit also allows you to stake various coins with a high return. But most probably it's a Ponzi scheme behind of staking system. So you should know which is a real stake and which is a fake stake to save your assets.

So how do we differentiate between the real staking system and the fake one ? One way is to join the staking programs only at good platforms like binance or pancakeswap and avoid scammy platforms like yobit. Is there any other way to know about the fake staking ?

would like to know as well, how do we identify which is fake?  when i tried Daedalus i only pick the first one i found and stake, luckily i got some rewards which i didn't care how much.

the more stakers going to come to join a pool of a validator the lesser the reward stakers will get but if you are just holding your coins for long term anyway, just stake it. you can unstake them any time you want anyway.
3062  Economy / Reputation / Re: List the lies since forum mods are not doing anything. on: April 04, 2021, 03:13:29 AM

yes it's a lie. it's too good to be true that they think people will actually believe it. with the reputation because of the scam accusation to them, there is even a chance that they will not let users withdraw than shouldering fees.

Actually, they are shilling for Adkins, probably bumping service. And of course, they are laying according to us. But the question is how moderators would determine if they are really laying? It'd easy to guess for us. Even moderators could guess but they can't take any action or delete posts based on a guess. They are taking advantage of the forum rule's loophole.

Self moderating threads are moderated by the creator itself so moderator is not going to involve anything related to it.
Moderators still would be involved if the creator doing anything wrong against forum rules. Doesn't matter if the post is self-moderated or not.

Adkins was recently exposed by DireWolfM14 because of their army of alts and it looks like there's more to the ones exposed who are now shilling for them after the temporary ban.

3063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what you worst experience on crypto on: April 03, 2021, 10:33:37 AM
My worst experience on crypto was on year 2017 when i was newbie  and bought a scam token. I did'nt buy on ICO stage but i buy the token after it was listed on exchange. I saw the price was dropping and in my mind this is the best time to buy. Yes i bought the token because of hype and didnt do any research thinking the price will go up after few weeks or months but what happened is the price did'nt rise and did'nt give me chance to sell my token until now and the token was dead.

many of us did that because we thought there is a chance of the price to bounce up again. sadly the volatility sets in and then gradually the team turned scam. 2017 is the ICO craze. some of the tokens actually that went up that time are still alive today but some end up dead already. nobody even tried to file a case against them for they use fake profiles. holding a token is the worse that I've done.
3064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: April 03, 2021, 07:27:15 AM
Sure there will be a demand from Pacquiao in terms of monetary and share that he wants to get if ever there will be a fight other than this match against Crawford. The $10M offer for Terrence, it's still in negotiations and having said that this match might happen soon, we can only hope that there really is a negotiation that happens on the side of both boxers. But with Pacquiao, he's always on the go whoever his promoter picks his opponent.
If Pacquiao doesn't have any plans to retire yet, I think that he should go with this fight because there will be more fight that is going to happen in the future with a lot of new generation fighters aspiring to fight him and I think that he still has the spark in it, not to mention that the money that Pacquiao is going to receive is definitely going to be big.

the promoter also has their own strategy because they know Pacquiao needs the money for the coming election in the Philippines. while he isn't yet a retired boxer, the promoter will likely negotiate down to its lowest because Pacquiao needs the publicity.  he still has the power at his age to knock Crawford though. i'm sure he can deliver a good fight that is why he still can demand a high percentage.
3065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: One or Two or Three More Ride this April... on: April 03, 2021, 05:55:35 AM

Also USDT is the safest but promising nothing .

My chosen are SOL / GRT / POA / BNB / FIL
Why All Shitcoins ?  but Yeah Binance is my 3rd option from all my holdings.

Quote
The topic is bullish in April. And I have chosen the most potential coins. Maybe x2 x3 x5. BNB could go as high as $ 1000 this month because of the upcoming coin burn. However, after the resurrection week there will be an annual pump. We will watch the buying price and wait for the desired ATH to take profit.

#tonytuyen #fil #file_coin #mining #holder

shitcoins are the easiest to acquire since they always do airdrops and those who got some will hope to get some BTC from it. once BNB breaks out it will be like ETH that we can only hope time snap back.

among the coins listed by OP, i think it's MANA that has the potential to really spike high. the last time i checked that Decentraland (MANA) was just 0.04$ but now it's $1

3066  Economy / Reputation / Re: shahzadafzal account now belongs to a scammer on: April 02, 2021, 03:20:14 PM

damn it is indeed a prank gone bad.  it's just not the kind of a joke that we'd laugh at when there are private keys that will be publicized. there are still newbies out there. one of them even copy-pastes his private key upon joining a bounty campaign.

the one that i was very amazed at was Brainboss Vacsino campaign. it's harmless but it's an example that some users aren't understanding what they read and will just post whatever is asked.
3067  Economy / Speculation / Re: JPMorgan sets Bitcoin Target to $130K Predicting Strong Institutional adop. on: April 02, 2021, 01:31:55 PM
Isn't JPMorgan's CEO Jamie Dimon hates bitcoin a lot, be careful with their stance people because this is an institution that is owned by hypocrites that says bitcoin is good but at the same time bitcoin is bad. They want to look good to the public because they are creating a bitcoin ETF that is unfavorable to the people that are going to invest in it because you don't own the bitcoin that is in the ETF and there are a lot of flaws and downsides in this ETF, Andre Jikh covered this thing and whether you don't agree with him or not, you have to be careful with JPMorgan.

i've watched Andrei Jikh video about this in which JP morgan is up to creating crypto ETF. he also emphasizes that investors might really not like the idea of it for not owning the real BTC but just the ETF.  no keys, not your coins phrase will always be the case.

$130K is good, i still think that institutions going all-in in Bitcoin will bring the market wildly that even the altcoins like doge will be pumped high.

3068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Hafthor Bjornsson vs Alex Simon exhibition fight on: April 02, 2021, 12:25:30 PM

Hafþór Björnsson is an Icelandic professional strongman and actor. He is the first person to have won the Arnold Strongman Classic, Europe's Strongest Man and World's Strongest Man in the same calendar year. He played Gregor "The Mountain" Clegane in the HBO series Game of Thrones for five seasons. He also is a former professional basketball player. (Wiki)

i just googled it. this is the brother of the hound dawg in the series. when huge guys fight, you gonna be expecting a big fall as well. these are the ones that just want to intimidate the other one with their size.

Honestly I'm not familiar with these boxers, but I like some clarification, is this boxing or MMA?

I check the name "Alex Simon" and I found his record belongs to MMA (https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/fighters/181442-alex-simon).

big man just walking towards the other man and then without positioning their heaps properly but just throwing punches, he fell like a log in this fight.

3069  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Recovering losses on: April 02, 2021, 12:01:57 PM

agree with mk4. you even consider looking for someone on twitter to help you. it's not the place to look for a tutor. i doubt someone will actually teach but look for some tuts on how to use indicators on tradingview. the more you think of your loss, the more you would think of getting back chasing the pumps. and start training yourself which the other option is to just look for a job and just hold your coins.
3070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: April 02, 2021, 08:28:27 AM
It appears Kevin Holland has become the official replacement. Does Marvin Vettori wrestle similar to Derek Brunson? I was with team Brunson, hwoever, Kevin Holland might win this fight if Vettori does not wrestle him hehe.

Kevin Holland’s offer to step up and face Marvin Vettori on short notice has been accepted.

First reported by Nolan King after it was revealed on the Team Vettori podcast, Kevin Holland’s management has confirmed that Holland vs. Vettori will headline the April 10 card on ABC. This gives both fighters slightly over one week’s notice to make the proper adjustments, including Holland who just competed two weeks ago.

Source https://www.mmanews.com/2021/04/kevin-holland-officially-replaces-darren-till-to-face-marvin-vettori-april-10/

Well, I would consider Vettori to be more on the kickboxing side of the spectrum, that's why the Till fight had some excitement to it, but he does have some submission wins under his belt and he is a brown belt in BJJ so that count's for something, but then again Holland is a black belt so we can throw all of that out of the window XD But as for wrestling goes, you can be sure it does not compare to Brunson's as Brunson himself was an accomplished NCAA Division II wrestler Vettori, being primarily an all-around MMA guy and Italy not being known for its wrestling, will not have the same chops.

so we are up again to bet for Kevin? if this guy just shut his mouth and throw big punches, he'd probably celebrate against Brunson.
he's ready all the time and can fight with short notice and this is why Dana still likes his big mouth. somehow if he wins this time we wouldn't be seeing Adesanya vs Vettori rematch. It's what he is aiming for after 5 winning streaks.

3071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance CEO becoming main in decentralization on: April 02, 2021, 07:50:53 AM
As per the views.

Now Binance CZ have

- Most traded Exchange
- Smart chain
- Wallets
- 3rd Best Crypto - BNB

So he can influence more and more to crypto space. One day he can centralize these system. Whats your view about this
You can't assume that it is going to be the same forever, there is always something which replaces the existing projects so Binance maybe replaced by some new exchange in the future. But if we let the centralization of Binance grow further then its nit really good for the decentralized community.

none of them is going to give up control over their users. with the money they get from the exchange none of them is going to let go.
even the DEX we see today are not even really DEX as long as there is someone behind it who owns the domain and server. uniswap is owned by someone, traders still like it because there's no KYC.

3072  Economy / Economics / Re: More bullish news: Paypal will alllow crypto checkout on: April 02, 2021, 07:07:26 AM
This is was an old news. I mean, paypal announced it when they started to allow people to buy, sell and hold bitcoins on their platform. Their users were supposed to be able to checkout with bitcoin, that is pay merchants with bitcoin. But in fact, they aren't checking out with bitcoin. What they are doing is selling their bitcoin and then using fiat/paypal balance to pay the merchant. So only users that hold bitcoin on paypal will be able to use that options. Paypal won't process any external bitcoin payments.

It's technically the same though, even though users may not pay directly through Bitcoin as the crypto is getting converted into fiat as payment, it's still as if paying directly with crypto because somewhere in the flow of cash, the crypto will get eventually converted into fiat as crypto is nowhere near to fiat in terms of acceptance as a legal tender. PayPal might even give the seller crypto as money, but the seller will eventually convert it into crypto himself anyways.

it's not the same thing because paypal can just close your account whenever they want. what really matters here is checking out with BTC, withdrawal the BTC out of their platform.

you as a user can use btc to purchase but it's not really BTC that you are paying it's still the fiat/USD. if you don't own it on your wallet then the coins isn'tyours.

3073  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Are you owed a payment of a bounty? then help us expose scammers on: April 01, 2021, 03:19:57 PM
Just visited the bounty thread and see the last post was during September 25, 2018, 01:34:46 PM. It's too long ago and you guys should take action against them during ending the campaign. The official accounts also inactive since December 26, 2019.

So after long time inactivity I don't think this complain will affect them so much, also I don't think they will come back to pay the participants. Maybe we just give them some neg tag/ flag.

Google play and the app store is a good way to heart them, to force them to come here. Smiley

it's only now that the token is listed on an exchange and the market started last Wednesday. if the token isn't listed then they'd just consider the project a scam and that they could get something out of it. but then it's listed and they weren't paid. naturally, they would complain. if i was part of the campaign i would probably ask them on the telegram and i believe OP had done this already.

3074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17 on: April 01, 2021, 01:43:33 PM
Definitely rooting for Ben Askren in this fight, kinda feeling sick of the Paul brothers & the constant whoring they do all over social media. It’s annoying & I’d love to see one of them KO’d ASAP.

can't even understand why he has got a ton of followers. this fight was announced in January so 3 months of training must be enough for Askren. this time there is no flying knees that will knock him instantly. but i hope he got the stamina to last up to round 8. Paul does have a boxing record though it's just 2 fights, he does have boxing skill that for sure.

3075  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm wondering who trades with paid signals? on: April 01, 2021, 12:06:44 PM
Good afternoon to all traders. I have 6 years of experience as a trader, and here I have a question for everyone

Are there people here who want to join a team of traders and receive tone signals?

Do you have a public track record where interested people can check your profit factor, win ratio, average winner, average loser, holding time, expectancy, average R, max drawdown, …? I'd never trust anybody – especially paying somebody – who's not willing to share his trade metrics.

I would gladly post it, but now I do not have proofs (yet), instead I will post my signals for free on my channel. If anyone is interested, you can watch and analyze it yourself. thanks

Just render your journal into a Google Sheet and remove the numbers you're not willing to share (e.g. position size, risk amount, absolut P/L). Proofed is better but hard to get in crypto trading. It's easier in Forex due to the investor password in MT4/5 and services like myfxbook. But at least you could provide your own track record.

it's good to show your track record, it's going to make people trust OP. or he could just post signal on Wall observer thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.0

i like watching the thread, you can see people there who are showing what they learned in trading but then there is also fud there. OP can just post here in his thread to defend his signal whenever someone disagrees.

3076  Economy / Goods / Re: agent in indonesia (kratom, coffee, tea, spices ect) (escrow is really welcome) on: April 01, 2021, 10:50:40 AM

Are you in telegram?

i'm also asking whether you have a telegram. two of them already asked about your telegram account. your website will really help us to trust you.

if not then can you just take a moment to answer some of the questions like will the custom allow kratom powder to passby?
if not what about a stem, can you send stems? i believe we can grow thru a stem. if its possible i guess that's better than the powder.
3077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Cotto vs Marquez - Exhibition match on: April 01, 2021, 08:38:24 AM
This is a little more complicated if you imagine that between Cotto and Marquez, both of them have a good history in boxing, both of them have won world boxing fights, this needs negotiation in this match.
I'm not sure what do you mean by complicated, this is a exhibition match between two retired boxers. This is a easy negotiation because this is what is it, exhibition, similar to Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones.

Talking about (Cotto), maybe a little hopeful in winning this time, Cotto is not only a boxing legend, however, in the country of Cotto, Puerto Rico almost all corners have a tradition in boxing, it is recognized by the world.
However, anything can happen in the ring that we never expected, but my belief is Cotto has a good chance this time.
Of course, Puerto Rico and Mexico has rich history of boxing, and we can call they rivals. Cotto for me has the advantage in this fight because he has fought a lot of good and bigger champions.

Yoshie probably meant the fee. there is going to be a price for both to agree to terms. Tyson and Jones must have talked about how much they both get including the PPV shares. thetwo country have been both rivals since the time Felix Tito Trinidad was one of their best way back, i bet against my classmates betting for golden boy de Hoya. both countries are the ones dominating boxing, i guess this time they wanna match up again who got the better warrior.

Cotto is the fav because he's much younger but if they are both young, i'd go for the counter puncher.

3078  Economy / Gambling / Re: Very immoral marketing strategy. on: April 01, 2021, 08:26:47 AM

give him a little time he will realize it. we have all seen it, their names keep coming up in the list of high rollers. i didn't even realize they are influencers/streamers until someone posted their youtube video. but hey they prefer that kind of marketing. a company would rather hire someone who personally has tried playing on them than someone who has not. if you are not convinced by these streamers then don't play to whichever he promoted. its still up to you.
3079  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC was a lifetime chance and I don't think we will see a similar opportunity on: April 01, 2021, 07:34:34 AM
similar opportunity might arise but definitely not as explosive as bitcoin's price rise. People back then who knew apple stock after finding out the stock has gone to the moon saying it's only once in a lifetime opportunity turns out there are a lot more similar stocks that skyrocket just like apple stock, but right now we have crypto, maybe in the future we gonna see some potential coin that could atleast rise as much as bitcoin has. it's just matter of finding another opportunity. but of course it's not gonna be as easy as finding stone on the ground.

and we found it with ETH too. there will be another pretty sure it will be looked at negatively by other users but they are going to still rise. ADA seems to be stable but fud spread for this project. i'm not sure if this is going to work for them but i better buy a ticket to the ride before i lose the opportunity. BSC is getting huge too.

BTC was more than $250 when i finally decide to try it. sure enough, i manage to grab a few. an opportunity lost when i already heard BTC when it was just starting in 2009.

3080  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think crypto trading can help nation with no Job create jobs? on: April 01, 2021, 06:48:38 AM

Based on the result we got so far from crypto trade during the covid-19, show that a nation can survive with crypto without Job create by the government. During the pandemic that collapsed so many organizations, that was giving crypto traders to do well in their trading at that moment.
With the signs crypto has developed during the season i guesss Crypto trading can help a nation without government create jobs.

it's not going to be that easy learning to trade in such a short period of time. some traders spend years already but still lose their money.
it takes a lot of dedication to achieve skills that will keep him earning and support himself. the government could do something like support BTC in order for the people to start buying and learn BTC trading.

i can see there more users from Slovenia and Russia are Forex Traders, maybe they teach each other.
