3061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com & responsible gambling? on: December 24, 2021, 10:56:02 PM
so you should change the thread title because your problem is not about emails and addiction, your problem is about new account you created after receiving emails and your new account was blocked with funds.
No, locking the second account is not the problem here because they locked it after he informed them about it.

Quote
is there any rule that prohibits people who are addicted after self-closing account cannot come back later to create a new account?
According to the self-exclusion terms, an excluded user must not create a new account or use any of his alternative accounts.
You should not attempt or proceed to open any new accounts during your self-exclusion period, or indefinitely if a permanent self-exclusion has been selected.
If the casino finds out you creayed a new account they will lock it immediately.

Quote
how would stake.com know that your addiction is gone? would you be able to prove it for them to unlock your account?
They don't. But when you request to be excluded you can choose for how long this exclusion shall remain ( 1 month, six months... or permanently).

now I don't understand what exactly OP wants stake.com to do? That's what I want to understand, I'm reading several posts but so far I can't understand what the OP wants? Does anyone understand what OP wants?
He wants that Stake wont be already sending out those promotional emails that might poke up again on his gambling addiction but since
he hadnt able to get on what he do like for Stakes response then he do whine out into the community.

I know that gambling addiction is hard but it would be just common sense that you shouldnt access things on where you could possible
see those in related with gambling things.

He do make out this issue to be this big but actually its not really needed or having no point.
Finally, I understand now what is really happening to Op.

Yes, I agree that if you want to excluded yourself from the trouble specially in gambling sites they shouldn't try to access anything that's related with the site since google will just keep bringing that up to you once they know what you are surfing. You should use incognito or ToR if you want to never see what you just searched, watched, or surf on the internet.

Op, is just creating a complicated problems which is just a simple problem if he just let it go since in the first place he's the one to be blame for searching but if it's not his problem then he should just move on since the support said that there was a slight mistake or error in the system which is out of their hands at the moment.
3062  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: has bitcoin achieved its goal? on: December 24, 2021, 09:49:59 PM
Bitcoin has accomplished a lot over the last few years and deserves a lot of credit for it but has not achieved its goal yet.  Bitcoin is set to achieve global protection whereby everyone will accept its use in terms of payment methods and apply it to their business and transactions.
Adoption is something that dont have that specific timeframe or exact moment on where we do consider that it is already on its full extent and dont anticipate that we would
really be going into that point on which we do see that Bitcoin would become main payment method and every merchants and businesses would apply on this one.
Knowing that it would really be in personal choice
I think bitcoin should achieve its goal by finishing to mine all of the remaining bitcoin but no matter what we do it would entirely be done after almost a century before we could officially call it that it has succeeded its goal. The rest of what you guys been talking might be on the developers side or to the community side which will make the value to move.

Does bitcoin adoption really matters or the investment of the investors does?
3063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is New Bounties are not paying Good Rewards? Real Or Trusted on: December 24, 2021, 05:52:40 PM
Getting payment from Bounty campaign is very uncertain. However, there are many campaign managers who escrow rewards such as julerz12, CryptopreneurBrainboss.  You can participate in these bounties because they guarantee payment.
If you want to be sure to be paid, then it is true that you have to participate in the bounty that has been stored in escrow is guaranteed but you don't know in terms of price because the manager only has control over escrow.
But with a good manager's reputation, chances are it's better than nothing, but don't expect great value because this will definitely be unexpected.
If you join the bounty, it means you are ready to receive any tokens including their value.
What you are asking is kind of hard to someone since they don't actually know who's managing the funds and what bounty where there's an assurance it will give the rewards completely that most bounty hunters could gain some profit. And when we are talking about bounty, not every bounty would give something with a value since most of them are just a shit token that stays longer in your wallet. Bounties nowadays aren't that profitable and you might just be wasting your time with a few bucks reward.
3064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Oscar Awards 2022 betting thread on: December 24, 2021, 04:27:26 PM
Joker is the movie I've been waiting for and is the best choice to watch ,Joaquin Phoenix is a good choice but compared to Will Smith I think Will Smith continue to be an Oscar winner but the odds are very small I'm confused why Dwayne Johnson wasn't nominated an list
I've been waiting for this moment and I hope they would consider Joaquin Phoenix since it was a very good movie that I've watched recently. I don't know if Dwayne Johnson would be even nominated and I think it's just fair that he's not on the list since there are too many great actors that deserves the place. Leonardo DiCaprio is a great actor yet Oscar is just too elusive to him, I don't know why is that but maybe they have their favorite picks when it comes to Oscar.
3065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull or Bear Market? on: December 24, 2021, 03:07:30 PM
Next year will have a little of bull run and a little of bear run because there's a chance that bitcoin will pump or break another resistance next year. Then a correction after the pump although, I don't know when it would happen but just for you know the market will go both sides. But of course, altcoins will pump as bitcoin pump but not at all since not almost altcoins will have a buyer to fomo. I do hope that bitcoin would sustain a little longer until next year in 2023 if it's going to pump and dump in 2022.
3066  Economy / Gambling / Re: ltccasino big win in Booming games on: December 23, 2021, 11:51:06 PM
I am close to believe and almost gonna say congratulations on what Op have been saying in this thread yet as I continue to read it just gives me a cringe feeling of how he shilled the casino. Although, I don't have any beef with Op it's just that it's too cringy to read how he managed to, to withdraw, blah blah.

Then I remember something that this is how most casino would do in order to gain customers or players to lure them. Enticing a big winning results with a few capital is just unbelievable for me since that's not how it works in reality. If Op posted his previous losses instead of just a few capital with a big gains I might have to congratulate him.
3067  Economy / Economics / Re: Dont just borrow money but for the right reason on: December 23, 2021, 11:10:30 PM
Always look for something which you could able to pay if due date comes and this is where most people do fail to do so because they arent thinking ahead on what they should gonna do but instead they do take up some loan even though the interest is high because they are expecting ahead that they could make profits out of their investment and talking about crypto that you cant really tell if the market would be good or bad
on next seconds or minutes which would possibly result neither on profits or total loss which would highly affect your situation whether you can repay or not.
I think it's just a burden if you loan money then try to invest it to get the profit yet the loaner didn't actually realize that with the interest itself is already a problem and not to mention the higher volatility rate of the market if they planned to invest it on bitcoin. One should have a visionary perspective if they want to loan and had a most perfect plan that already has a backup plan if plan A failed.

However, Op is just a shiller to a project which most of us won't bother to invest but he's just basically shilling despite of the reviews I've read about of Metaverse.

I think it would be a nice game if there's a demo that we could actually see. Tongue
And what do you mean by "better odds" than any other gambling games?
I don't know if it's just me but I don't see any links yet that would go straight to your site. I just saw a broken page and nothing else like the link doesn't exist when I clicked it.
3069  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto.com Predicts 1 Billion Global Crypto Users in 2022! on: December 23, 2021, 09:51:30 PM
Crypto.com has published a report asserting that it expects one billion crypto users by the end of 2022.
It’s just a prediction, but I am not going to doubt it because it is quite possible that it might happen before 2022 is over.  The rate at which people are adopting cryptocurrency these days is quite huge. Like these days almost everyone you are going to meet  knows one or two things about cryptocurrencies, especially Bitcoin.

So, since people are very much aware of these crypto currencies, it’s quite possible that from time to time they will get to experience things that will make them think about cryptocurrency, and as time goes on it is likely that their interest might develop into becoming part of the cryptocurrency community, which would lead them into adopting cryptocurrency. So this is quite possible to happen, we should be looking forward to it.
That depends actually on what the users they mean to say like I think it's the addresses that has transactions that they are basing or just a users who just had registered to different exchanges. But that data might not be accurate since if they based it on addresses there might be some addresses that doesn't work anymore like a lost bitcoin due to the user who forgot to give the key phrase to someone or a lost wallet or forgotten.
3070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who’s who in the gambling subforum? on: December 23, 2021, 08:14:14 AM
How about the PBA or the Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5169983.0

I am also active in this thread and I have some familiar names that I follow.

I always look at @bisdak40, @harizen, and @mirakal.
That's just a local games and it's different from international level of entertainment like NBA, Boxing, Tennis, F1, NFL, etc. But yeah, the topic is all about who's who are gambling expert in the subforum of gambling discussion. I barely follow some of them since I am not that a heavy player when it comes to gambling but since the Op mentioned some of the people he/she trusted the most when it comes to betting strategy, I might have to bookmark these people on list to see how great they are with their skills.
3071  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop or continue trading on: December 22, 2021, 10:09:52 PM
If we stop we can't win so the best thing to do is to continue, sometimes people will decide to stop because they are tired or they always loss, without knowing that if they continue they will surely earn because not everytime we will loss there are also earnings just believe in you're self and continue to learn for good.
It's easy to say than do what you actually want to happen but in reality trading is not for everyone although OP has to choose which one is best for him/her. One should know their limit or know when to stop if they did everything they can yet still failing or Op might need a new strategy in order for him/her to continue what he/she likes to do. We can't decide what he/she wants for until he/she is sure about of what is the best decision ever.

For now, we're just helping him/her how to decide since there's nothing wrong of trying again.
3072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: how to play well on: December 22, 2021, 08:32:56 PM
There is no easy way to gain profit specially in gambling I don't know who told you that but you get the wrong impression. Gambling is not suppose to be a source of income or profit but for entertainment purposes only.

Do you ever heard "the house always wins"?

No matter what strategy you make or do it's always the house that wins. You may win big today but you lost double of what you win today.

That's how gambling works and also you should ask the right question if you want a right answer.
3073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could Floki inu be the next shiba inu? on: December 22, 2021, 07:13:35 PM
Floki inu hype seems Isn't end yet. it is only get highlighted due to effort and influence of elon. But After end of hype, floki inu possibly lost its existance. That's because elon mask is the creator of it Who just looking for his own benefit. He dump bitcoin, he create hype for doge & dump, same thing was done by shiba & declared he doesn’t own it. So how can people trust on floki in long run? It probably floki is just a coin for short term
How long these people would still fall for this or how long they will realize that a meme coin is just a hype coin used by Elon and his influence? Be it on a social media or with his meme coin everything is just temporary somehow, someday Elon and his meme coins will fall but I bet Elon wouldn't left without gaining enough profit after that. Floki, Inu, Doge it doesn't matter what its names he will be the one that would make more profit at the end of the day.

I hope people realize that.
3074  Economy / Gambling / Re: Show Your Victory on: December 22, 2021, 05:48:01 PM
We're giving ourselves and everybody here false hope, you cannot talk about victory and not think about your losses I have a lot of victories too but the losses are not enough to compensate for my winnings or victory I'm still way off to my past losses, so if I post I won $200 from playing dice I also have to consider my $300 loss a week ago.
You are not alone on this one since I think everyone suffer the same as you do and no matter how hard we tried to get back our losses by winning it still isn't enough. The Op probably just want to see our winning but not our losses and this should not encourage new players. We should always be responsible with our expenses and gamble only what you can afford to lose.

Gambling for too long can develop something that you might regret in the future.
3075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you know any meme coin that could be shiba or doge? on: December 22, 2021, 05:05:04 PM
First you say It Isn't possible to guess which meme coin would do well in long run as shiba or doge, after that you ask us Memecoin which will be worth in the days to come. as you said above, Meme coin is risky investment. So there is no best investment advice for memecoin.
Why would you take his advice or from the others when it comes to investment? You should at least do your own research if you want to invest specially in memecoin. Memecoin is just a hype coin because of Elon Musk but if Elon didn't invest on it I don't know where this memecoin would go specially the other new memecoins out there. They are just riding with the hype and taking the advantage of the hype to create an opportunity to make more memecoin just like how the NFT thing started that spread so fast like wildfire.
3076  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 90% is already there, only 10% is left on: December 21, 2021, 10:56:56 PM
As we mine more and more of the total supply, sellers and miners will het greedy because it could go out of their purchasing power if they keep selling at just any rate because it's imminent that bitcoin is certainly going to blow off the roof  as time goes on.
I think you got the wrong idea here and I don't think miners would just do that carelessly. Besides, only supply and demand is doing all the price changes and not to mention the halving cycle every four years which makes the price to get stricter due to getting less of supplies (bitcoin). Miners difficulty will also increase and that would take them some time to mine bitcoins so I don't think what you are thinking is what they are going to do.
3077  Economy / Gambling / Re: This is why I love this forum...and we should make it more powerful on: December 21, 2021, 08:56:03 PM

Edit: I got my cash out but I am sure I got it because of this forum.

This forum is a big help if you have a good case against a casino, but if you are banned because of cheating and manipulation and you open an accusation, I doubt if this forum will help you the forum is fair and will not let anyone get scam and cheat its players, glad that you got your cash out it just proves that you have a case.
I think the case is close already and Op got his small winning amount. Although, it's still questionable if he did something wrong or the casino did something wrong because someone claimed that the rules are changed or perhaps the Op didn't read rules that's why there's a little misunderstanding.
But the way the casino asked some deposit first is like a scammers would do although the casino did pay Op at the end. So it means that the casino really care about their reputation over to a small amount.
3078  Economy / Economics / Re: NFT and art theft on: December 21, 2021, 06:34:42 PM
The first wave of NFT was pretty awesome and a lot of people have made a lot of money out of them but this current state of NFT is deplorable and it seems that they've totally deviated away from the point of having an NFT which is the community in it. This theft is just sad and at the same time makes me furious, I hate people who steal the works of other people and present it with the audacity that it's their own work, hopefully these theft is covered by laws.
If you visit the link and read the whole story you would understand why the artist had to shutdown his online art gallery. I just don't know yet if this whole stealing of online art is covered by law since the author or artist seems to lose his patient waiting for the admin to make a move to all of his report yet they don't seem to care at all.

If I am the artist I would do the same since you can't make money when all of your work is being stolen and yet they are the ones who benefited from it. It's frustrating if that happens to you.
3079  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason for the dump in Bitcoin and most of the Altcoin? on: December 21, 2021, 04:37:23 PM
I think market conditions have nothing to do with holidays or any religious celebrations because holidays or religious celebrations are not news that can affect the market. towards the end of 2017 the bitcoin price entered a bullish phase and in 2021 the bullish phase occurred twice, namely at the beginning of the year and in the middle of the year. In other words it can be said that market conditions have nothing to do with religious holidays.
Christmas and New Year's holidays are long holidays at the end of the year, most people want to go on vacation with family. and of course this long holiday would cost a lot of money and require someone to sell a small part of their crypto assets. This reason is actually quite reasonable because I myself often sell a small part of my crypto assets to go have fun and vacation with my family.
It has been proven already before that during the holiday season bitcoin price tend to decline due to people selling some of their assets. Whether it's a bull run or bear run it always tend to decline somehow but I think this year might be different if people want to hold a little longer before selling they might want to do that. The price gap in the past is different than today so people might regret if they would just sell most of their assets so I assume most of them would sell some just for the holiday.
3080  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com suddenly banned my Account on: December 21, 2021, 03:27:17 PM
1. Give some screenshot about the progress chat between you and support stake
2. Abuse the platform can be anything like : multi-account for looking rain, self-referral, abuse the promotion because so far I know sometimes stake have promotion lose back guarantee 50%/100% with maximum member around 50-100$ and other promotion.

This thread by OP has a quite vague narration, it only gets to show his side and his account, it lacks of more vital information and proofs. Unless we know the reason why it was closed, one that is stated by the management, we cannot clearly figure out and determine our stand on this. Hopefully, OP would enlighten us more.

ya.ya.yo!
For now, it's still a vague story since we don't know yet what was the reason why all of a sudden a reputable casino suddenly ban his account. But as for the reason of Op it was something that he didn't do and we can't just judge already if we still don't know the story on the other side. So, a screenshot of their conversation between him and the support would make this thing clear.

I won't expect something that would make Op feel relieved but we still want the truth though no matter what the decision because it will serve as a lesson to the future gamblers on that casino.
