3061  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to sell my BTC? on: April 03, 2021, 11:55:10 PM
So I bought BTC at £9000, made a nice amount. Is it a good idea to now sell this and move that money into alt coins? or should I  sell half BTC and buy back in after alt season is finished?

What do you think?
What are the alts you've been planning to put those profits that you had gained in BTC? Its good that you had able to buy into those low levels and considering on the current
price then you had really make some nasty profits on there.

Risk management what matters here because not all would have the same thinking about their investment. If you do look that there are some coins which are worth
to invest on then go ahead. As long you are aware with the risk on investing on alts then its a good thing.

Sell your btc while price is still on peak and dont waste up that opportunity.
3062  Economy / Speculation / Re: How fast do you think will Bitcoin reach $100k? on: April 03, 2021, 10:55:28 PM
What are your thoughts? Huh
Not really minding much on how fast we would get there. What we need is adoption and recognition and once we had able to attain that then high prices or ATH's would normally comes next.

I cant really blame out people on why they do hurry up on going to 100k but we shouldnt really be that too fast in a span of few months since from last quarter of 2020.

Lets look on how far we've grown in a small time frame.Looking it on a bigger picture then it is just really too fast.I wont say that im too paranoid for the drop or crash
but it isnt already convincing that these pumps are organic ones.
3063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should loot boxes be banned in videogames? on: April 03, 2021, 09:46:57 PM
This case has been an issue since 2019 where many were also playing games with loot boxes. The matter is that there are many children that are using it when playing their favorite video games. In fact, this may become one of the income for the games themselves. additionally, many will not ban this or delete this because sometimes, loot boxes are the ways for"
- Promoting more characters, items, and also special things in the game
- Using it to make more powerful characters, things, or event something different and special
- Add more income

And about how many children are using it and spending so much money, it may be the role of parents to control their children in playing the games.
Why would they ban this? It is just like buying up some mystery boxes online and trying to look on whats inside or just typical purchasing up into something which i dont see any gambling activity at all.

Yes, this might be addicted into those youngsters but as long the items inside of those lootboxes arent something compromising those who had bought specially children or young minds.

Companies who had done such stuff made out some new way or innovative method for them to sell out those loot boxes.I dont see anything wrong with that.
3064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie finding his way around crypto investment on: April 03, 2021, 08:51:54 PM
I keep feeling hesitated and crypto keeps growing, enough is enough, I'm new to this space and I'm looking into investing in altcoins, I have 1200$ in USDT right now and I can only take risk with 200$, I'm looking into vechain and harmony, looking forward to hear from people on here, are these two altcoins worth the risk? Can vechain hit 1$ in weeks??
As a noob then you should have these things in mind.

- Dont let yourself fall into others suggestion or simply with those shills and recommendation
- Invest on the project you do seem to be worth of your money
- Lent some time on making out some research
- Its your money so you do have the full right on what are the things should be done.

Suggestion? If you do see that VeChain would be that worth then go ahead but it isnt bad to make out some investment
mostly on top altcoins in the market though.
3065  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Recovering losses on: April 02, 2021, 08:42:51 PM
Now I don't need to pay any income tax but also lost my bitcoin.
Greatly appreciate any words of wisdom, any help with the strategy to recover my loss.

Thanks and regards,
LongBTC2Moon.

Dont rush up! You dont actually need others help because they cant really help you out on the first place. The only one who could only help is only yourself.

When you are making some gains then thats a good indication that you could still have the chance on recovery. It might not really be that fast but it is much better if you done it slowly
but surely.

Dont add up more investment because that would really be a sign of desperation and would might end up into more further loss. You should avoid that.
Dont sell out your land. Try things as best as you can until you break even.
3066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Teams on your personal blacklist on: April 02, 2021, 07:21:41 PM

Toronto Raptors
Detroit Pistons
Oklahoma City Thunder
Minnesota Timberwolves

Ive used to bet on these teams on past seasons but im done with the losses that i have experienced
on betting with these teams.  Cry
3067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Comparison of buying a cup of coffee with crypto on: April 01, 2021, 11:48:44 PM
meh, i'd never use crypto just to buy coffee..bigger things to do!
Maybe to buy a Car, Bitcoin has a big fee compared to other coins.
to buy coffee, doge is more suitable because the fee is cheap and transaction speed is guaranteed. Grin
Complete B.S .

You can buy a tesla now for those same coins. Cheesy

This is already almost a 3 year old thread and its not really that something good to bump this up but for the sake of comparison into  those days up to now on what changed when it comes to fees?

Then we can tell the difference but buying up into those big companies like Tesla then you can eventually use up your own coins and other top alts in the market or something that they do accept.

What matter most here is the fee but majority doesnt really mind off as long you've been dealing with bigger purchases. Its truly not sensible on buying out coffee if you can
simply make use of your traditional fiat.
3068  Economy / Speculation / Re: get a loan and reinvest it on: April 01, 2021, 10:59:42 PM
Hello. I see different platform like nexo, blockifi, etc... that can borrow you crypto or stablecoin. I'm here to ask if you have a strategy for example you borrow btc with an interest rate of 6% and then you use it on defi with 8% APR. Thanks for helpful. Cool Cool
It would be wise if you put it up on bitcoin instead rather than defi.I would have that confidence that percentage gain on a year is much more worth but honestly taking up some loan just for you to invest it again
in crypto isnt really that much of a good deal because you wouldnt know on when things would be increasing and also due date is just too short. You cant just simply wait until they do increase before you
do repay those.

So i wont really be considering this kind of option because it is just way too risky but if you can handle out the risk then go ahead but if not then better dont mind it off.

Getting some loan for the sole purpose of investment here on crypto is never a really good idea to take but well its your choice.
3069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to win at roulette? on: April 01, 2021, 09:54:32 PM
Talking about physical roulettes then you can see these vids for reference but dont believe that there's some holy grail in gambling.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NIDV7SSNYw
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZnvKwezDlI
For online roulette then the classic martingale system would be a common strategy but i havent tested out based of with my gambling experience with roulettes.
3070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your thoughts on Altcoin bullrun on: April 01, 2021, 08:43:13 PM

Only solid coins in the top 1-20 will have a good run, we have seen more of them already have a new all time high and it might go higher this year.

I would not be on that... Since a few months, top 20 projects saw their capitalisation going up but they were not the only ones. Lot of good projects from top 50 to 500 (even more maybe) have experienced some serious upside ! I personally bet it will go on this way  Wink
You mean to those top 100-500 coins in the market? I do rather believe that those are mostly been pumped randomly but there are still projects which are really underrated or does really
have the potential but most of them are just on random pumps and this is where those people who do believe with low cap coins to have some chance for some pump.

When it comes to altcoin bull run then no one can really predict precisely but as you can see that most top altcoins are really going along with bitcoin market.

So its hard to determine if those movements are already the actual bull run or just simply some simple steps but in gradual basis?
3071  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm wondering who trades with paid signals? on: April 01, 2021, 07:17:21 PM
Good afternoon to all traders. I have 6 years of experience as a trader, and here I have a question for everyone

Are there people here who want to join a team of traders and receive tone signals?

An abundance of free resources exist on trading that gives you insight into an asset, its current market movement, and the overall sentiment of traders towards said asset.

However, copying someone else's trades without knowing their reasoning behind these decisions is somewhat useless, as you won't understand much about how they came up with the trade in the first place. If you are a novice trader, spending money to learn is allowable, although if you can get it for free, why not take that route?

Maybe novice traders just want a shortcut for them to earn in trading. I recently joined free trading signal groups, It's free though so why not. I observed at first and tried to study the charts and patterns that the trading group is providing, It's shockingly near to what I am seeing on that same coin and timeframe. I don't want to justify these signal groups but I think there are some groups that can be a gateway for novice traders to learn trading along with the free trading resources all over the internet.
There are actually which is really helpful but you cant really blame out the community on having those common negative views or sentiments towards these paid and free groups but

honestly speaking  there are really some which are really that helpful if you do really tend to engage with it a bit and make out some comparison to your own analysis.

If its free then i dont see on why people do really have bad impressions if they can freely check it out if its really a good one or just simply some trash calls.
You can make your own decision and make out action if you do continue or not.
3072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Cotto vs Marquez - Exhibition match on: March 31, 2021, 11:48:22 PM
Im betting with Marquez on this one when we do just base up on stats or number alone then theres no doubt that Marquez is much more experienced but since both are retired
then it will vary on how well they had maintained of their bodies on the time that they had already stopped on this boxing career.

We do have lots of exhibition matches lately but it turns out that money making or generated on these fights arent something the same compared to those normal days.

They are now trying to make some cash with these fights.
3073  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How do we help signature campaigns generate fund to pay its participants on: March 31, 2021, 10:48:24 PM
I don't think that we should help. It works fine without such help. If signature campaigns wouldn't be effective, nobody wouldn't launch it.
And such advertising as you described may have negative impact. Signature campaign participants shouldn't be paid shills. We are getting paid for advertising something in our signature area. If we would start to promote our advertised project too active, I think that people simply will be annoyed by such ads.
Correct!

The team would always have the right neither they would continue or not on such campaign because its part of their expense and if they dont find it not feasible then
they wouldnt continue it for sure.

You are right that it isnt really that much of needed because marketing could neither be effective or not.The thing we can do is to do our job as advertisers.
If they do find out it isnt effective then they are the ones who decide.
3074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If You Buy btc Today and cash out one year on: March 31, 2021, 09:49:04 PM
Well its a Limited supply and its a Good long Term Investment 2-3 years If You are patient enough it Will be well rewarded.
But in this time no way You watch the news!
No matter how many times You see corrections but You dont sell it.
Rewarded for those who do truly waits but there are instances where patience do really put you on other situation like "missed opportunities" also making extreme amount of
gains will be basically sticking out on the most trusted coin in the market which is bitcoin itself basing of on total cap and value.

Important thing here is that you shouldnt invest on the amount that you cant afford to lose for at least when the market do turn opposite on what you are expecting or anticipated
then you wouldnt really regret or doesnt hurt too much.

Hold bitcoin into something that you do know the risk behind it.
3075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The realities of modern casinos on: March 31, 2021, 08:58:49 PM
You just explained it yourself why many gamblers lose on casinos. The reason why most people lose gambling on casinos is because gamblers are not always very lucky. It wouldn't be called gambling if everyone can easily win and it will only called a contest rather than gambling, that is why casino's bankroll would surely increase. Investments are differentl where the money is used as one of the bankroll and they will earn.
Gambling is for entertainment not for source of income. This had been a wrong perception towards it this is why people do get wrecked because of this sole reason. The cycle keeps repeating because gamblers normally
chases up their losses which means they do keep coming back and keep on giving those money or profits to casinos.

This is the reality but there are lots of gamblers who get blinded on making themselves hitting the jackpot which is really a very wrong mindset.

Play on the amount that you can afford to lose and thinking those money you've spent is the amount that you had spent for the leisure you do seek.
3076  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto trading signal work or not? on: March 31, 2021, 07:44:53 PM
Well it really depends. Some might really give you a good signal, being kind as they are. But some might not, there are always chances that they are a scam, or just trying to manipulate the members to do exactly how they wanted it to be.
I guess you need to still be cautious, like joining the group and seeing how it goes first, even if you want to try, don't immediately put a big amount, try it little by little until you're sure that they're trusted.
Anyway, it's still better if you don't really depend on that, but might use them for additional source of information or such.
Yes, we shouldn't trust signal from any personal. I saw many people take it as a business but they are not well familiar with trading. Most of the signal group are scam and we should avoid them. It is better to learn trading by market analysis.
This is true!

If those people are really making out some profits then they wouldnt really be going into the public and trying to run up with some paid signals because they can eventually
make up some money with just simply making trades on their own without wasting up their effort on trying to handle out people. Its just really no sense at all.

There are lots of groups that do pop out even free ones which theres always a tendency that its always just a simple speculation that even yourself
could do such thing. So i dont see the worth.
3077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your thoughts on Altcoin bullrun on: March 30, 2021, 11:50:41 PM
The last 5 months have been an uphill ride for most of us wherein we have gained so much in altcoins especially those coins which were literally dead or simply considered as shit coins like HOT(Holo), Pundi but they have given massive profit with unexpected pump wherein XRP, XLM who were front runners at the beginning of bullrun are at standby mode compared to their previous bullrun during 2017. What's your though on this?
Can say that those who are still holding as of this moment we're luck that they didnt just sell off those coins whom we have thought that its already dead or doesnt have any chance for some recovery

or pumps in the future. Its totally unpredictable and im much more aware with their existence specially Pundi which had been a hype wayback on that 2017 bull run where several projects did

really make out noise but eventually after the crash then these project turns out to be silent for a couple of years.I dont know on whats the actual reason on why they had
been pumped again.Lucky for those who do still baghold.
3078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What age bracket is perfect for gambling on: March 30, 2021, 10:33:39 PM
I think 19 years of age are responsible enough to handle gambling activities specially if the person is well open to Their love ones.

The only problem in gambling is if we are not telling our family and friends about our activities and hide betting , this will end up addiction and will cause us harm in the future.
So opening our games will help Us safe from becoming a desperate gambler.

Their family should know what they're doing since they will be asked where they spend their money. these things cannot be hidden from the other members of the family especially if they don't know how to earn that money by themselves. Same as they are earning it by themselves because in that way their family can advise them some legit advice about what they're doing.
There are really difference into those people who do earn income by themselves or to those people who do fully rely with their parents in terms of financial.A particular person who get involved

in gambling and comes addicted but there are no other sources of funds he/she could possibly get and this is where possible crimes could be committed if he/she let himself do fall into that pit of addiction.

When it comes to desperation times or cant able to resist then that would really be a big problem. This doesnt talk about particular age because as long we are fully aware on how thing
works then that would be the perfect age or time but instances on getting addicted and some changes could most likely to happen.
3079  Economy / Speculation / Re: The power of Bitcoin HODLing on: March 30, 2021, 09:29:22 PM
A lesson for a lifetime. I learned my lessons, how about you? are you?

Yeah, holding might be the simplest thing to be done since you wont really be doing anything but you know that people are way different to each other which means not all would really be having the patience.

There are people who had bought on that 2010 but do sell out their holdings when bitcoin hits up ATH in further years and didnt able to hold up until this very moment.Well, thats unfortunate but

still not a bad move that had been done because as long you do make money or profit then that counts. Its just that really not similar or big differences between numbers and that
would really talk about humans no contentment. hehe
3080  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: March 30, 2021, 07:43:04 PM

What is the Trades tab beside the Chat tab. Is it for real time price of BTC and ETH only? No trades on the site?

It's a kind of binary trading you will guess the crypto price in a few seconds, minutes or hours is similar to trading futures on an exchange but in my opinion it is more risky
At this time Rollbit has not activated it but the information I heard in the near future will be active

A very risky trade which most of the time you are really more on the gambling side and not into trading, binary or pairing if you are lucky can easily doubled your bankroll.
In the other hand, it will burned your bankroll as quick as you almost not noticing it, for now that's still preview and not actively being offered to play
for sure there are gamblers who also love to take the risk and play with this kind of game.
I think this trade beside the chat tab could be a future mini-game in rollbit, I don't know how it might turn to but short-term prediction, if it will go up or down, is one of the possible game mechanics of the game. I've played the same game on a certain casino, I just forgot the name of that casino but I really enjoyed playing it. Though I hope that this casino would implement that in the future.
They had already mentioned it out which means this will really be available soon or would really able to play.Just give them some time on setting things up.

Im much aware with this kind of game where it is like a binary options where you do guess out on where the price could possibly go on such time.

If its lower or higher on your entry point which would determine wether you do win or simply lose the bet. This kind of game specially if its putting on that sidebar which
you can directly make out bets with ease then that would be an interesting stuff.
