3061  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: July 07, 2019, 04:42:33 PM

Actually, all of them are just marketing stuffs, sino pa hindi ma sa'sanay sa mga ganyan using coins, like on gcash or eGC (before) or any process na sinasabing instant daw, cash in man or withdraw process, processing them takes minutes there's nothing instant, it take minutes or even hours, much worse if day(s) pa. Kaya if may gagawin kayo, cash in or withdraw try to make your patience much longer.
3062  Other / Meta / Re: unlocking/restoration of my account on: July 07, 2019, 03:59:24 PM
Oh I got my private key from Bitpay but Electrum wont accept it. I will try your method above though - tried it, it asked for my phrase which I provided and it kicked out the same private key I already have and electrum still will not accept it. So, is my account hinged on the single aspect of signing a transaction?? I understand the usefulness of this aspect but my current wallet does not allow for signing and my knowledge about importing private keys to another wallet is obviously lacking.

You can follow this instruction on how to import private keys to electrum, please use the latest version of electrum 3.3.7 for your safety.

As long that you succesfully imported the private key, you can sign message with the address assigned on the private key.
3063  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitmain miners on Alibaba on: July 07, 2019, 03:06:44 PM
Bitmain says "sold out" But on Alibaba they say its in stock. Is it real? Has anyone every ordered from alibaba?
Avoid all items like miners on any of these marketplace websites, whether it came from alibaba or amazon as long its not official retailer of the product/item then you're at risk.
3064  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Discussion on: July 07, 2019, 01:35:54 PM
Anyone heard of Paramount Dax exchange?
Nope, is this your exchange or you are an employee?
Turns out to be something like shilling out. lol
Or most likely a marketing person hired of this random exchange, nah, its even the admin of the site who's trying lure people to such exchange.

3066  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Vanity Cryptocurrency Address Generation | Any Currency on: July 07, 2019, 09:22:23 AM
Is this an open source project? If not, then you're wasting time, there are a lot of guides on how to make a vanity address, legacy, segwit nested and native which are more secured than using some random and close source services such on OP.

[Guide] How to create your customized Bitcoin-Address (vanitygen) – step by step

Wow. May escrow pa talaga.  Shocked
Yes, para secure yung fund sir and okay naman si Bl4nkcode doon.  Cheesy
I confirmed about this one that the address is from the escrow address of mine. Post ako later ng signed message for proof.

For us, we like that Libra is helping crypto to get more attention. But we wouldn’t know if the attention is good or bad.
The good part is having one of the largest internet companies introduce their own crypto assets which will open the idea of cryptocurrency to its billions of users and even to its competitors.
The bad part is for the libra user's privacy. Or should I say the whole libra development is the bad part, the codes will be closed source for sure and that's one of the issue.
3069  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Paid promotions on YouTube? on: July 07, 2019, 03:10:12 AM
I'm just asking for a link to a channel that is offering YouTube crypto projects paid reviews I found some, but can't afford paying 0.5-1BTC because it's too expensive. 500-1000 $ that's all I can pay.
Why would bother too much? Havent you yet realize that these crypto paid reviews are total sh*t? Even $1000 is considered expensive. If i were you,its better not to waste up money for these things.
Bother? Probably because that's for marketing and every company that needs marketing will do this kind of stuffs. I know 500-1000$ is somewhat enough for some aspects of marketing.

But spending 1 BTC or 11k$ for current rate for such and for only one review is bullsh*t to me. I'll consider the price if its an SEO with SMM and even lead generation.

To OP, you can try to go to freelancing platforms such upwork and fiverr if I were you, but of course you have to inquire every gigs there strategies on how they can make the promoted service to get more sales, leads, etc.
3070  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Suggest me to invest in Bitcoin Online Trading on: July 06, 2019, 11:57:14 PM
You will only lost when you sold at lower price, why in hurry? If you think you're at loss then just hodl and wait. But if you think some token/alt did have a better performance and want to trade with then you should risk to sell low your current holdings so you can buy the lowest price as possible of another coin to get profit. But selling low will eventually your loss.
3071  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [STATS] Local Board Pilipinas - Statistics Center (Updated 7-06-2019) on: July 06, 2019, 11:52:16 AM
Too bad, that account has been hit by the ban wave recently. Sobrang hinayang ako dahil na ban ang account na yan  Sad. . If you happen to know how to lift the ban, please DM me
If you say ban, then its unfortunate to said that you already ban evading (evasion) which against the rules, kaya not so sure if ma a'unban pa account mo, but I'm sure this account will be affected too.
3072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lost LTC (Will pay if you help me find) on: July 06, 2019, 10:24:40 AM
Yes i sent the funds, there is defiently no one else who has access to my hardware wallet.

I still have access to the memnomic phrase and i know the second layer phassphrase which i am sure is attached to the LTC address above with the 5LTC inside,  I just dont know what software to use to import these 24 word seed into and search through all the addresses
If you say that the address where the ltc funded came from the mnemonic phrases you save and this phrases are generated from your hardware wallet then its much better to use the software wallet of the HW you own? Because importing your seed from HW to random wallet will oppose the purpose of a HW.

Btw what HW you're using.
3073  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ATTN!!!! TOKOK seams to be hacked on: July 05, 2019, 04:37:52 PM
The TOKOK volume that is the token or coin of that exchange is 0.

3075  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: July 04, 2019, 10:55:42 AM
I don't see any reason for the owner of coins.ph to sell it to other people, because they will earn more money because many people will use coins.ph and every transaction we made they have a  little commission and if you combine it he can get more money.  Just provide proof so we can trust to you and I don't see any news like coins.ph ownser sell it.
By saying coins was bought or were sold by its owners/founders doesn't mean na mag iiba yung na company as a whole. Its just that na Gojek got the majority shares ng company (coinsph) which they invested on coins +$70m or you can call it also as partnership and expect more services will be offered. Tho Gojek has more control of the company.

Also, still, ron hose is the ceo, and its staffs are still the same IMO.

For proof, you can google "gojek coinsph".

3077  Bitcoin / Electrum / Electrum 3.3.7 was just released on: July 03, 2019, 11:54:59 PM
Electrum 3.3.7 was just released, with various bugfixes and improvements. Read the release notes and download it from https://electrum.org/#download

https://twitter.com/ElectrumWallet/status/1146522052708503553

Release notes:
Code:
# Release 3.3.7 - (July 3, 2019)
 * The AppImage Linux x86_64 binary and the Windows setup.exe
(so now all Windows binaries) are now built reproducibly.
 * Bump fee (RBF) improvements:
Implemented a new fee-bump strategy that can add new inputs,
so now any tx can be fee-bumped (d0a4366). The old strategy
was to decrease the value of outputs (starting with change).
We will now try the new strategy first, and only use the old
as a fallback (needed e.g. when spending "Max").
 * CoinChooser improvements:
   - more likely to construct txs without change (when possible)
   - less likely to construct txs with really small change (e864fa5)
   - will now only spend negative effective value coins when
     beneficial for privacy (cb69aa8)
 * fix long-standing bug that broke wallets with >65k addresses (#5366)
 * Windows binaries: we now build the PyInstaller boot loader ourselves,
as this seems to reduce anti-virus false positives (1d0f679)
 * Android: (fix) BIP70 payment requests could not be paid (#5376)
 * Android: allow copy-pasting partial transactions from/to clipboard
 * Fix a performance regression for large wallets (c6a54f0)
 * Qt: fix some high DPI issues related to text fields (37809be)
 * Trezor:
   - allow bypassing "too old firmware" error (#5391)
   - use only the Bridge to scan devices if it is available (#5420)
 * hw wallets: (known issue) on Win10-1903, some hw devices
(that also have U2F functionality) can only be detected with
Administrator privileges. (see #5420 and #5437)
A workaround is to run as Admin, or for Trezor to install the Bridge.
 * Several other minor bugfixes and usability improvements.

3078  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Relation To Bitcoin Cash on: July 03, 2019, 12:24:39 PM
Please carefully read all the replies above, actually, you're pertaining to the hard fork which was held on 2017 August.

if you were holding bitcoins when the fork was launched in august 2017, you received an equal amount of bitcoin cash to the same addresses.
To add this, you can only get those BCH if and only if you control the private keys or recovery seed of that wallet. Though most of the exchanges supported the forked coin but there are some who didn't.

The ~entire internet went down.
Nope, it only happened with sites that integrate Cloudflare, not all sites down. Not sure which things might be changed in the future, with the forum, and coming Epochtalk forum too.
I'm so sure that you didn't get (the sarcasm of the post) why he said the ~entire internet.
