3061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: March 20, 2021, 01:17:15 PM
Had anyone seen this?
In the video it was seen that Luka Flirted with the lady ref, we can hear what  he said memes around saying about what Luka said.

lady ref : what foul?
lady fef : what foul?

Luka : I'm fouling in love with you.

haha..

Lol. I saw that one. I'm not really sure what Luka really said to the lady ref, but the facial expression and reaction says he says something like that pick-up line in the video. Nevertheless, the NBA somehow needs extra curricular entertainment like this sometimes lol.
I don't know, but most probably that lady ref might like Luka (base on her facial reaction) as he is a really good looking guy and rising superstar.
In fairness to the lady ref, she's gorgeous too.

The lady is gorgeous, no question about that but she is already married with an NCAA referee too. This will be forgotten eventually but that very short time give some fans somethin to smile too, you can see more on that video in tiktok, been checking tiktok regularly so I know, lol.

Nice explanation, and I truly agree with that, if you are a real muslim, you should abide the law and live with peace. However, I do believe that there are muslims who are violating this, so hopefully they'll realize that the law is very important and it should be followed.
As Muslims who adhere to the teachings of their religion, they will always comply with legal provisions that are clearly prohibited, in this case usury. Even though there are still violators, it's his business with his god.
I understand that and I understand how strict the law of Muslim.
In our country, the law of the church and the law of the state is different as I don't live in a Muslim country although we have muslim brothers in our country.

I'm not a muslim and this is not against in our teaching, but I will respect my muslim brothers here.
Thank you for the tolerance, even though we here have differences in belief, but mutual respect will always lead to lasting peace.
Of course, that's all I can give to my brothers here.

Members of #NSD team turn prayer warriors for Ginebra icon Jaworski

Quote
Although still shocked to learn that the Big J has battled pneumonia and a blood abnormality since last year, all four are hoping and keeping their fingers crossed the 75-year-old basketball icon is on his way to full recovery.

Let's hope for JAWO full recovery, he is a legend in sports, an ICON and he made the Ginebra San Miguel popular.

I never know that he is battling with a disease because he is always present every time Ginebra has a big game.
3064  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back to $ 10,000? on: March 19, 2021, 10:56:16 PM
I hope you are not wishing it, $10k is a huge crash and it's only a year that we have a major crash, let's just reap what we just sow, market is looking good and it will continue to be, I don't think or we don't think it will go down to $10k again at the present scenario we are in, we are good, things are looking well and I don't see anything bad that can make the market crash to $10k at least for now.

How i really hope so that OP didn't wish this thing to happen in bitcoin because to be honest the frustration of  bitcoin investors and traders will be huge. But to be honest, though we know how volatile cryptocurrency was and anything could happen unexpectedly but I didn't think so that this might happen in bitcoin as of the moment because bitcoin dominance were quite impressive which no indication that it might fall on that kind of market value.

Why is some of us here are happy to see when bitcoin will dump to $10k?

lol.. I'm guilty.. I like to see it dump so I can start accumulating, I failed the last time and I sold early, if given a chance I would not hesitate doing it.
The price is already high, it takes 80% dump from the current price in order to see the price we wish to see.
3065  Economy / Speculation / Re: get a loan and reinvest it on: March 19, 2021, 10:40:23 PM
Hello. I see different platform like nexo, blockifi, etc... that can borrow you crypto or stablecoin. I'm here to ask if you have a strategy for example you borrow btc with an interest rate of 6% and then you use it on defi with 8% APR. Thanks for helpful. Cool Cool

I believe the 6% interest is monthly, You will loss a lot of money considering that 8% is a yearly profit meaning you will have 0.666% profit from staking monthly. Its OK to borrow BTC if the current price was oversold so that you will not suffer big loss if ever the price drops more. You can also gain profit if the price pump after you bought but this is a very risky method. I just do it whenever the price drops and my salary date is still far.

It was not monthly actually, I got corrected in my post above, APR stands for Annual Percentage Rate.

The interest is low, good for investing or trading but not for staking IMO.

6% per year or monthly?

If it's monthly, I suggest to just borrow money from the bank and invest in yourself by learning to trade, nothing is easy in crypto, everything has a risk so be careful in borrowing funds as you might regret your decision.
Obviously it's annually since he said APR. Do you think he will go to ponzi site which offer 8% interest monthly?
I get OP point, what he trying to do is tricky, it's like doing arbitrage (buy from a site then sell on other site). You could lose all your money if the site run away with your lending money, OP

I'm not into De-Fi so I'm quite ignorant, sorry about that.

I can understand the team easily using per annum or per year. but anyway, it's not so important, what is important is that borrowing 6% interest to get 2% profit, I guess that is not wise 2% is too small for a risky investment,  so I would still recommend borrowing fiat and invest in crypto, I guess bank can still offer 6% per year depending on your collateral and credit credibility.
3067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking is not for Muslims on: March 19, 2021, 01:44:49 PM
Staking in crypto is like interest in Fiat.
You lend (stake) your crypto and get reward (interest) for it.
I suggest all my Muslim brother to stay away from this new kind usury.
What is Muslims?
Muslims are a group of people who adhere to a certain religion and in this case it is aimed at Islam, so these Muslims are not suitable to join the staking program because it is considered usury, and usury in Islamic law is haram, so the OP prohibits Muslims from joining the staking program does not approach staking because it is usury in Islamic law.

Nice explanation, and I truly agree with that, if you are a real muslim, you should abide the law and live with peace. However, I do believe that there are muslims who are violating this, so hopefully they'll realize that the law is very important and it should be followed.

3069  Other / Archival / Re: DeFi hyip is over? on: March 18, 2021, 10:39:57 PM
I don't know, is this the end or not, because many Defi coins currently have not shown a significant increase anymore,
even the NFTs coins are currently experiencing a pump, it is possible that Fomo Defi is slowly disappearing, yes it's just a hunch,
if you want to buy, don't buy token when already expensive, because it is very risky.

It will not disappear if the market remains bullish, as long as there are still pump we are witnessing, that is a sign that it's still around and anytime they will again pump. Not every defi projects will pump of course, just like altcoins, not all but few legit and projects with great supporters.

You know, when the market is bullish, it's just easy for them to pump, we are just guessing which of them will.
3070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: March 18, 2021, 10:19:45 PM
And mind you, he sits like 9 minutes of the first quarter if I'm not mistaken that's why Pacers was able to built a 15 point early. But Nets and Harden slowly eaten that lead. I would commend Claxton, he did a super job on both ends of the floor, blocking Sabonis and then hauling 11 rebounds.

Irving and Durant having a good time watching Harden's one man show.

The bench players did showed great in this match, don't forget about those threes made by Harris. Harden, no doubt is really like that without the two key players. And basically, the other teams shouldn't be only worried about their main and key players but also these support players that have played well.
Indeed a great match and Harden surpassed the expectation of most fans for this game, IMHO.

The bench support for Harden is really terrific, he got the support he need.

Harris and Claxton with Green and Jordan every support that Harden needs was been provided by those role players behind him.
Nice to see that KD and Kyrie both enjoying the game, watching Harden showing his leadership and lifting the nets to win this game.
Yeah, all of them.
And what's more, if KD and Kyrie will play together Griffin. Harden nailed it, can't say that it was a one man team but everyone contributed very well and with Harden's initiative and leadership inside the court, made them got that win.
For awhile we should also talk about how great the coaching staff of the Nets, Harden is not this good when he was still playing with the Rockets while Steve Nash just unleash his true potential so Harden has become a better version though he already played as an MVP caliber.
3071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best way to get the best gas fees for eth tokens on: March 17, 2021, 02:29:31 PM
The Gas fee will change oftentimes depending on the blockchain traffic. And if you wanted to fasten the confirmation of your transaction, you will have to pay it more. For me, I consider the average speed of confirmation, yes, it takes a few hours to arrive but I also save some than paying on the high speed. This is only the way to save time and fees. Because if we have to wait until July( as predicted), we are wasting a lot of time and might miss the better price.

For now, we have no choice but to pay what would the miners ask. Or you, you have to hold your tokens forever.
3072  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sold my first Bitcoin and am happy on: March 17, 2021, 02:05:19 PM
Just sold 5% of my Bitcoin that I've been holding for 3 years and I feel satisfied doing so.

3 years in holding? That was a long sacrifice but it was paid off.
I'm for sure that only a few people who've been doing this coz it possible that they sell their Bitcoin at the first market rally at $20k, $30k...But you have that strong faith and the situation gives you a favor.

And you are holding 1BTC, it is already big money when converted to fiat. It is already a million to our currency. Pretty impressive, though.

9 days left until NBA trade deadline. There is a lot speculations. Some are just speculations, but since many trades are done right before trade deadline this speculations are alive. Some patient teams might make profit on impatient teams desperate moves.

Most exciting time of the year. Aaron Gordon, DaMarcus Cousins, LeMarcus Aldridge, JaVale McGee, Andre Drummond, Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Andrew Wiggins, Hassan Whiteside, Bradley Beal, Ben Simmons, and many more people are potential movers... Lakers, Nets, & Trailblazers seem most likely to make some moves.

Lakers always look for a new addition but I think they already are a strong team. I hope the TrailBlazers will benefit and will get a good big man that could really dominate. Imagine, Lillard and CJ is a big threat already and they also have a scorer inside, that is really a huge improvement, not only a scorer but a good defender, I guess Drummond is the key to that.

I'm in on @stadus picks -6.5 on Phoenix Suns, and I've got my props on Brooklyn Nets vs Knicks

https://i.imgur.com/7xCI4U2.jpg

Riding on the same pick, less the player props. I took -7. 5 with an odds of 1.99. I would let the site mate some commission, lol..

1% is enough though.  Grin

Expect what comes worst mate because you are talking about BOUNTY HUNTING.
What's wrong with bounty hunting? Some people consider what they are doing as a job, so they are like "JOB HUNTING"...

There's nothing wrong really as long as they follow the rules and as long as they promote a legit project that would not scam investors.
3077  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does BITCOIN make a person's life better !? on: March 14, 2021, 01:00:40 PM
My only definition of better in a financial sense is that when you are able to have a house on your own, a small business that is booming, a car or two, and a bank account that can sustain you and your family for 3 generations, that for me is my definition of being better. Bitcoin won't give me that dream especially if you only have a few million satoshis to your name. The only ones who got better are the ones who were already there in the start. The Bitcoin millionaires.
I got your point mate but you are in the high standard defining better.
For the rich people, a few sats will never give satisfaction but for those who are in the middle and lower class, this is certainly be giving them more than enough. And I can't deny myself that I'm one of these people, in fact, I'm so happy being in here, got some additional income and it makes my life better to compared before.

We are in different opinion but there is only one goal we want to achieve here and that to improve our lives.

3078  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Its coming i faster and would shock most people on: March 13, 2021, 10:34:47 PM
Friends, I think the moment we've been waiting on is fast approaching and should it come as a shocker to most of us. O saw this on coindesk.
https://www.coindesk.com/luxury-us-hotel-group-now-accepts-bitcoin-dogecoin-and-other-cryptos?amp=1

what would our reaction be like?
When bitcoin and crypto finally emerges as the future?

Well uhmmm, we still won't reap the world into halves but then, it's going to be something for the crypto community.

What could that something be for you, haven't scaled through the scarry news of your investment days and have finally over came the challenge.
For them to win the competition and with the high demand for cashless payment, they must have to adopt the new trend. This gonna be a high risk for them but we have to face it otherwise, we left behind.

From now on, I was expecting more small establishments will have to work on their crypto wallet security in preparation for acceptance. It the beginning where we can say that crypto is a currency, not just a form of investment that we use to be in the past years. This not really shocking coz we possible be expecting changes day by day.
3079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why new projects/ coins do not have ANN on bitcointalk ? on: March 13, 2021, 10:16:29 PM
There was a time when every crypto project had their ANN on bitcointalk. But recently times have changed. I see majority of new projects listed on coinmarketcap but they do not their ANN listed here.
Most of the projects are happy have their community on facebook, twitter, telegram but ignore this platform. What could be the reason for this ?
That will be life-changing in crypto. We know that social media can easily spread information and much easier for them to take the clean shot without bothering someone to criticize their project when they have an ANN thread here in the forum. I'm not sure if this is a bypass and we can't assure that was worthless since it has been listed in the CMC. Maybe we could expect more changes to come in the future and that ANN thread will might be obsolete.
3080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 13, 2021, 10:00:22 PM
And if they get another championship, they would really not hesitate to give him another one once it ends.

They might get another championship again, they are already seasoned as a team and getting C. Stand is a huge help for that campaign. Thompson really excel in rebounding for a small guy and that also provide some energy for the team which makes them a better team.

This season to come (next month), I think Ginebra has a better chance of winning that championship again.
Many of us think the same that they're going to be easy on this season. They really will possibly be getting into the championships again. And that's why they've improved their roster and got a change.
Well, if that happens again, fans will celebrate and the other fans who hate this team will again think that the management about changing roster is unfair only for Ginebra.
They are likely to win a championship again but I'm glad that other teams (although their sister teams) have also improve their line up.

SMB got CJ Perez, and probably a healthy Fajardo and Magnolia already had Calvin Abueva.
