3061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: One good turn deserves another 👈 Scammers way on: June 29, 2020, 10:08:12 PM
Scammers stays here, they are just looking for a good opportunity to scam again.
They have selected the crypto market as the best ground to do their scam as here there's a lot of money flowing and it's not or less regulated.

I don't know if there are people who still fall in ICO, but I hope they'll learn from their experience in the past or learn from other people's experience.
Crypto market is full of opportunity but it's a called a high risk market for a reason, therefore we should be smart when we plan to invest here.
Scammers that looks legit is what gonna kill our finances if we are not careful, good thing we have people in the community reminding us always that it's happening, in the end, we can only count on ourselves if we like to take our journey here.
3062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: List of Gambling Platforms with Issues. on: June 29, 2020, 12:48:10 PM
I always remember when I play some gambling games on one gambling website, and I got a problem, whether it's about the cheat, deposit takes a long time to arrive, withdrawal needs verification, and I will not come back to that site.
I think you need to check first the TOS of the site, if it's part of it then you can't complain as in the first place before you sign up on the site to create an account you already agreed with it. Actually there's a lot of gambling sites in the market, you can always choose, there are those who process transactions automatically like sportsbet.io, so why not try this site. I'm not promoting the site but based on my experience, they are the best when it comes to withdrawal and deposit processing time as it's almost instant.
3063  Economy / Economics / Re: world war 3 is coming ...do to coronavirus / economy ... on: June 28, 2020, 10:04:16 PM
I don't buy into the World War 3 fear news, there is no country that can afford war cost now even the globalist are against it. There is no doubt the world is in need of peace but with the look of things the inequalities in world has made matter worse. The anger of people you see protesting is towards the inequalities and injustice  all these are domestic issues

WW3 will never be started by sane people but the world isn't sane so I wouldn't rule it out completely.

One thing is sure. If it begins it will be the end of our civilisation because there's no way to beat one of teh big world powers like the US, EU, China with conventional weapons. The area is too big to cover and conventional bombs will make the war continue for many years without any results. The only way to win such a war would be to use nuclear or biological weapons and it would destroy the planet in teh process.

War is not good for everyone, though a certain country would win but they are never safe and people can't live in peace.

The best country to live is a country that everyone will feel they are safe, that's why we have the authorities to maintain the peace and order.
Also, if we are talking about WAR, the new way of killing people now is through the virus, we never know if corona was one of the biological weapon and there's worst than this coming, so let's hope that leaders especially in big countries will think of peace and how to maintain it.

Competition is good among countries and that is what I'm seeing now, but no to WAR.
3064  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid-19 effect on your country's economy!!! on: June 28, 2020, 01:22:54 PM
The number of infections and deaths is increasing every day Many cities have been damaged But this time we don't have to think negatively Bitcoin will help us in many ways to overcome this problem. If we all start investing in bitcoin and advise others to use it they will be able to overcome the epidemic like Covid-19 very easily You have to work with faith before every work.
We all know the problem but I don't think investing in bitcoin would be the best solution.

What would save people from suffering financially is for them to receive a regular income like a salary or having a business, investing in bitcoin does not provide the aforementioned, and in fact it's so risky that investors could also lose their money, let's go back in 2017 where there's a FOMO, some people made money while some people also lose money, so the solution is not investing in bitcoin.Maybe finding a job online would help but the competition is also higher as this problem is felt world wide, unemployment is increasing hence the demand for jobs are big while unfortunately there are only few job offerings.

Let's bear with the government as they are finding solution, find ways to survive and most importantly learn how to save as we never know when this pandemic will end.
3065  Economy / Economics / Re: Lives vs Economy -- sad truth on: June 28, 2020, 12:44:36 PM
I don't think that's true,,because every persons life is precious and government is trying to save everyone, but unfortunately not all patients are given immediate relief due to lack of facilities and patient volume. Even though they wanted to save every one
If the government facilities can't accommodate all the infected people, the worst will come including choosing who's to live and who's to die.
Every life is precious but some people lives will be sacrifice to save the others, I know we don't want to see that but I think it's happening already, of course it will not be a good news so no one would publish that as it would ruin the government.

The virus is very dangerous, it has infected millions of people and killed thousands of lives already, so it's really up to us on how we will take care ourselves as prevention is always better than cure.

The law that the government is imposing is for preventive measures, we should follow it, no questions ask.
3066  Economy / Economics / Re: Rise in US unemployment. Thoughts? on: June 28, 2020, 11:50:00 AM
I am just worried for my countrymen out there especially for the domestic helpers. I hope they still have their job and not affected of this. If they become unemployed, they are no where else to go, they have no money to be used to provide their needs plus they are far from their homela d and their family. It is very difficult

They have the government to help them, in that case they will have to go back to their country and the let the government provide them a livelihood.

OFW are big contributors to the economy of a country, especially from a 3rd world country so if they are in crisis, for sure there's an allocated funds from the government to help them.  We will never know what would happen as the economic problem will get worse, but we should all be ready and accept all the possibilities so we can survive.
3067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: June 28, 2020, 11:28:22 AM
Many people think Wilder will lose again against Fury, but I have a different response. I feel a fight that will happen 18th July 2020
Wilder will prove to the world that he is able to win the fight against Fury. Through the trailer the video uploaded by Wilder shows
that he is very ambitious to defeat Fury, I see the burning passion in Wilder. The match between Wilder vs Fury in Las Vegas was
very interesting and became a proving ground for Wilder.
Lol, his back is literally against the wall, he really need to win in this trilogy otherwise, he might retire or need to fight low level competition at least and win to be able to get a crack on either Fury or Joshua for the belt  I don't know what match are you referring to, but in the rematch, Fury won against Wilder so it wasn't a proving ground for Wilder.
Yes, the trilogy was only made possible due to the rematch clause on the last contract both signed.
We can read the full article about that rematch clause in in here, so it's an obligation that Fury have to comply, otherwise he might face a lawsuit which is not good for successful boxer.

This should be the last fight for both, and Fury has to beat Wilder so there will no more controversial talks about the two fighters.
It's time for Fury to get bigger fights as he deserve that and he knows how big he will be making in his next fight against AJ.
3068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 28, 2020, 09:01:16 AM
Everyone knows that NBA is against racism, and they showed it before, like when they forced Donald Sterling to sell Clippers, banned him from NBA for life and fined him  2.5 million USD. This would more like a compromise with those that didn't want to continue with NBA season, so they can basically do both things; support what is important to them  and still play this season.

I know that story but not everyone for sure know about what NBA did in the past to fight racism. This time it's more visible, while they are playing people will be seeing messages on the back of their uniform so it's really a good way to show support, and I also hope that Irving and Howard and all those NBA players who are thinking of not playing when the season resume will change their mind.
3069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 28, 2020, 08:10:44 AM
In another news, NBA is thinking about allowing  players to wear personalized social justice message on the back of their jerseys. Might be a good compromise with those that wanted NBA not to continue due all those racial issues, and it definitely  makes more sense that just ending the season due that. Irwing, Howard and others that were vocal should be happy with this decision, imho.
NBA could allow players to wear social justice messages on jerseys.

For a change and to show that NBA is against racism, then I think this is a good one.
There will be a lot of eyes on them as more people now are just staying at home so they can deliver the message effectively to the whole world.

Though this controversy happened in USA but everyone should know that we have to treat everyone equally as we are both human.
BLACK LIVES MATTER,...what NBA is doing is a good initiative.

5% of NBA Players Test Positive for the Virus
Tests showed that 16 of 302 players were positive in the league’s first round of coronavirus testing before the NBA attempts to restart in July

That means 16 of 302 players tested are positive from covid-19.
So I guess all the test will be over soon and we will know the final result on how many players are infected by the virus.
5% is quite a big of a number. I just hope this wouldn't blew out more than to what it was already. 'Cause damn, it is just a few more weeks, man. Everybody must be present specially teams who were fighting for 8th spot  Tongue.

5% is huge but if we translate it to numbers, it is not that huge.
What I did is I made some research now about the number of NBA players in the league, so here's the answer.

How many players are there in the NBA in total?

Quote
According to NBA.com’s FAQs, “each NBA team can have a maximum of 15 players, 13 of which can be active each game” considering that there are 30 franchises in the league, that means that if every team has all active spots filled on their roster, then there are a maximum of 450 players in the NBA at any given time, and a maximum of 390 of whom are active players available to play in a game.

This means if they have a maximum of 450 players, there would be more test that will be made, and I'm optimistic that only few will be added to that as I'm hoping the NBA would successfully resume.

Sometimes, the lower the value of that altcoin is not available on the casino.
I believe the value is not the basis, it's more on the liquidity of  a certain altcoin so gamblers can easily trade their altcoins.
When we are in a gambling site, we are treating the coins we are using as a gambling money, not an investment money, so factors like liquidity, transaction processing time, and transaction fees is what matters more.

Look at DOGE, it's value is very low but it has good volume so it's good for online gambling.
3072  Economy / Services / Re: Simple trading technique to earn 3% to 10% per day on: June 27, 2020, 10:41:41 AM
If I like to make money in trading, I would just do it myself or even if you reputable but I would not believe on you since you promised a fix return in a daily basis, so this would look like a ponzi scheme where investors will be scam and they will complain because of their ignorance.

Even the most profitable traders in the world, they can't beat you with your promise if what you are telling us is not a lie.

Thanks man, but no thanks.  Tongue
3073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING SITE INVESTMENT on: June 23, 2020, 10:21:36 PM
For altcoins, they are not stable unlike bitcoin, so it's possible that OP would still earn that 5.69% but the value in usd or fiat would drop if that altcoins will drop its value compared to its value when you start your investment journey.

From what I understand. Are you saying while investing in gambling casinos bankroll in altcoin, profit would still vary from the movement of it's value in the market not from the gambling site? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, using OP's model, it varies on both, the profit made from coin invested depending on the casinos's performance, and profit on fiat value depending on the crypto market performance. In OP's case, both market and casino are profitable thus far so it resulted to a bigger profit.
3074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING SITE INVESTMENT on: June 23, 2020, 12:19:46 PM
Investing with alts such as LTC and DOGE are a double edge sword. They can double or triple and BTC can double and you basically can make 6x off your original investment instead of 2x. This is actualy why people keep waiting for "alt season" because they know that at most BTC "might" touch $20K and that's it. Best case scenario in short term is to double your money. But with alts you can leverage and buy some mid-cap alt which can 5x or so and then BTC might go up by 25% and you got a nice healty profit.

Issue is when to buy these alts. Basically many like XRP are hitting new lows against the BTC and people are losing their BTC which is actually rising in value. Hence as always its a calculated risk for many.

I think you are talking about trading investment here, or you can enlighten us a bit more.
Don't get me wrong, but that's what I understand about what you've said.

That's what OP is doing... adaseb here was just citing possibilities when investing using altcoins.

In OP's progress, he is profitable investing in BTC with a rate of 5.69% so far, that's from week 1 to to week 10 which is the latest, but his investment was more profitable because he started when bitcoin was at over $6k only, and currently it's price at over $9k, so there is a huge increase if you based on that bitcoin value.

For altcoins, they are not stable unlike bitcoin, so it's possible that OP would still earn that 5.69% but the value in usd or fiat would drop if that altcoins will drop its value compared to its value when you start your investment journey.
3075  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is currently a good place to trade Bitcoin? on: June 23, 2020, 11:58:23 AM
Stay away from HitBtc regardless of how small the amount is.
I am using this exchange, and based on my personal experience, I haven't face any issue with this site.
Would you care to direct me to a thread if they have a scam accusation here?

Not sure what's the source of your info, but binance doesn't have a strict KYC policy. If you're not from a banned country, you should be fine withdrawing up to 2 BTC per day without the need of verifying your identity.

And if you want another alternative, then Kucoin is a great one (same policy as binance).
True, Binance does not require KYC up to a certain amount only, if you does not transact amount beyond their limit, you should be fine with making an account without KYC but you also have to consider the risk, for me, $1,000 equivalent of bitcoin is already a big amount, and though it's possible to trade in Binance with that amount less KYC, I would make sure I'm registered with KYC so if my account gets compromise, it would be easy to recover it since I can easily prove my ownership.
3076  Economy / Economics / Re: Which is better, staking or investing? on: June 23, 2020, 11:04:49 AM
Investing is always be my choice,i Have been in this market for years now and staking is not giving more benefits and besides most of my friends that into staking are now losers and converted their money into investing.
But it depend on the company you invested if they are stable enough to give good stakes.
First it's important to know what is the meaning of staking, otherwise, you'll fail with this type of investing.

Yes, I consider staking as investing because you stake your coin for a certain time to earn reward and you are not assured if the value of the coin will rise, if it falls, you will lose as regardless if your coins will increase but if its value will fall, it's still useless.

With that said, I think I'll choose the normal way of investing, not staking.

Exactly,Investing is still the safer way of putting our money inside crypto as long as we can afford to keep holding for a certain time and not greedy to look in easy money.

Actually if it's for long-term hold, staking would give more advantage to you as long as you believe that the coin you are staking with is good for long-term hold. Why? because when you are staking, you can grow your coin, just like investing in a casino's bankroll, and overtime as the project gets more successful, the price will eventually rise as well and that would be very rewarding in your end.
3077  Economy / Economics / Re: world war 3 is coming ...do to coronavirus / economy ... on: June 23, 2020, 10:46:25 AM
World war 3 is not gonna happen, not during the pandemic or this time.

Big countries now are suffering, tell me who would start a world war, it's the big countries, right?
So it's far from happening, we are all focus with finding ways to survive and to recover our struggling economy.
What you are seeing does not necessarily happen in other countries, and it's just normal at this time when people are unemployed and basic needs is more in demand than before.
3078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ POLL ]: Boxing - Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev on: June 23, 2020, 10:25:05 AM
That's what this match are, if you are willing to bet on Pulev and hope that he will win then it's going to be a good profit for you, windfall. But betting publics really know what's going to happen and sayin that Pulev won't pull an upset here. And nobody can stop you as well, good luck on your Pulev bet if the fight progressed in the next coming months.

Anyone who bet on Pulev would win if AJ would experience a second upset in his boxing career.

Looking at their respective record and how both fighters fight, it looks like Pulev is very predictable and AJ can beat him either in points or probably from knock down.

There's nothing to lose for Pulev here since he is already close to the age of retirement and AJ is now one of the stars of boxing in his division. People would push that this fight will soon happen as they are waiting for the result of Fury vs Wilder which they already expect that Wilder will lose and AJ vs Fury would take place this year.

3080  Economy / Economics / Re: How in the world we going to restart the world economy ? on: June 23, 2020, 08:52:55 AM
It's our government's responsibility to find ways to recover from the lose in this pandemic, and we will keep losing until the vaccine is release as we are still dealing with a lot of restrictions now, maybe some industries have already resume their operation but other industry are still not permitted and we know that every business has employees on it, so this would create bigger problems particularly the unemployment problem.

However, like in the past, I believe that our government will be able to find a way to survive, recover, and improve the economy once again, if you trust your government, you'll become an abiding citizen and would support their actions for the benefit of all even if it would result to increase of tax.
