3081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Considering huge transaction fees, what coins to support on new gambling site? on: March 21, 2021, 11:52:17 AM
With fees so high, I'm wondering if big gamblers are switching from BTC/ETH to other options. Is there any data on what's being used? With limited options, what coins should a new platform consider supporting?

I am not a big fan of binance because they seem to take over the whole crypto scene slowly but surely and a it's never good if you have one company that is dominating an industry.
That being said BNB woudl probably be a good candidate for casinos to put into their portfolio because the fees when you send BNB via binance smart chain are very small. Like 0,10$ per transaction.
3082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt Coins to buy with 200$ on: March 21, 2021, 11:39:14 AM
Please guys help me suggest coins to buy. I’m a student and I don’t really know much about crypto but I need the money for financial freedom and help my dad cover some of my school costs. Please guys.

I hope you have the 200 dollars you want to invest left over and that you don't need it. Never invest more into crypto that you can afford to lose.
You say you need the money for financial freedom so i guess you are hoping for a 10x of your investment or probably more. If you want to achieve that you should probably invest in relatively new projects that have still a lot of room to grow.
But of course when you do that there is also more risk involved because there is always a chance that you invest in a project that dies quickly or is a scam.
3083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 20, 2021, 07:55:39 PM
Bayern is showing an incredible game! Getting a red card at the beginning of the match and scoring 4 goals in the first half is fantastic in football! Shocked
They could have started the game with ten men! Grin

Yes bayern played absolutely incredible today and from the 20th minute to the halftime break was just beautiful to watch. Especially the second goal was absolutely great with all those passes inside the penalty area before the finishing shot.
Lewandowski scored 3 great goals in the first half and could have easily scored 1 or 2 more in the second half.
It seems like bayern is picking up momentum just in time before the last part of the season when trophies are won.
3084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 20, 2021, 02:46:57 PM
From the saturday afternoon games that are currently running i think that Bayern should be able to win against Stuttgart and also Dortmund should win against Cologne pretty easily.
Frankfurt vs. Union Berlin has the potential to be great and tight game and so far it's a draw 1 goal for both teams.
Wolfsburg also is in a great shape at the moment and is the favorite against Werder bremen.

3086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on exchange tokens? on: March 19, 2021, 06:57:58 PM
I'm keen to know what the general consensus is on the value and utility of all the tokens that exchanges and crypto portals release. Are there too many of them in the market? Or is there an obvious market need that such tokens serve?

Well at first sight i think most people would say that there are way to many exchanges and exchange tokens out there. Some of those small an new exchanges are having a hard time to generate enough volume to make profit.
On the other hand it's always important for every market or industry sector that there is competition if we would only have binance and coinbase they would have way to much power.
So for me it's a good thing that new exchanges are trying their luck regularly to get a little market share.
3087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance smart chain is centralized ? on: March 19, 2021, 12:52:13 PM
The name binance smart chain already indicates that it is tightly connected to binance and therefore also part of CZ's crypto imperium.
In Telegram i read from a lot of people that they refuse to switch from ETH to BSC even though fees are that much lower there, but those people just dislike how CZ is slowly becoming more and more powerful in the cryptosphere.
Binance also owns coinmarketcap.com now for a few months, with that they have another tool to regulate information.
3088  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: March 19, 2021, 11:23:24 AM
The quarterfinals have been drawn:

ManCity - Borussia Dortmund
FC Porto - FC Chelsea
Bayern - PSG
Real - Liverpool

Winner of quarterfinal 1 will play against winner of QF 3 and winner of QF 2 vs winner of QF 4.

So it will be ManCity vs Bayern or PSG in the first semifinal. I think that bayern is like a 60/40 favorite againts PSG but we will see. Man city should have no problems with BVB though.
Chelsea will advance vs Porto and Real vs. Liverpool is a 50/50 game for me.

3090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where's the altcoin bull on: March 18, 2021, 03:24:24 PM
A lot of the old and established altcoins that had their ATH back in January 2018 like NEO, IOTA or Dash are nowhere close to that now.
In the last 3 years a lot of new projects emerged and some of them probably do stuff better than the old coins. Those established coins really need to up their development and/or public relation management to keep track and to don't slowly fade away into irrelevance.
Also i don't really want a Altcoin Run like back in 2018 with  BTC dominance going down to 30%. That was just not healthy and caused a long bear market.
3091  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: Hot Coins on: March 18, 2021, 01:30:10 PM
Mein persönlicher Hot Coin in dem Defi Binance Smart Chain Bereich ist Linear.Finance.

Vergleichbares Projekt -> Synthtix (3 Mrd Mcap)

Lips sealed
Ich glaube ich geh mich mal betrinken  Cheesy
3092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long do you think this altcoin bubble will last? on: March 18, 2021, 11:49:56 AM
I hope and i am also pretty sure that it's not a altcoin bubble right now. I mean just look at bitcoin. It's at 58.000 $, so why should BAT not be at 0,80 and Mana at 1,00 $?
If you look at the bitcoin domination it's still at 60% and that is the area where it always was in the last 1,5 years. So everything seems alright to me.
Back in january 2018 we probably really had an altcoin bubble with a BTC dominance of 32% but not now.
3093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: March 18, 2021, 10:04:43 AM

Why do not put few bucks on Porto now? The odds is the highest compared to the other teams obviously. Below is the average odds of every single team who goes to the quarter finals based on some sources:

Man City 3.25
Bayern Munich 4
PSG 6.5
Liverpool 7
Chelsea 8.5
Real Madrid  10
Borussia Dortmund 18
FC Porto 36

Honestly, I'm a bit surprised to see Real Madrid is under Chelsea. Of course the odds may change once the draw is done. I guess we will see an early Final match on the Quarter Final.

I guess everyone wants to draw Porto now for the quarterfinals and maybe Dortmund all other teams are top class and every match between two of those teams could also easily be a final.
Even as a bayern supporter i have to admit that ManCity looks stronger at the moment than bayern. The odds you posted also confirm that. Bayern is not as stable as last league, but they still have time to improve.
Real Madrid is just not the same team as in previous years and i think that the high odds of them are justified.
3094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: March 17, 2021, 07:30:13 PM
The game of Chelsey vs Atletico today has the potential to be very exciting. Of course Chelsea has the advantage going in with a 1-0 lead but i think a 1-0 win by atletico and therefore a overtime is very much possible today.
Bayern vs Lazio is pretty much done. Maybe lazio can win this game today but i highly doubt it because is again in good shape in the last weeks. Nübel is playing today instead of Neuer i am very curious how he performs today.
3095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best stable coin when selling crypto? on: March 17, 2021, 01:19:54 PM
USDT or BUSD? I never really sold and withdrew any crypto before. Just wondering what most people do on here when selling and tranfering to their bank accounts.

Recently i switched from USDT to UDSC both are on the Ethereum Network and USDT is still the more popular stablecoin but recently there are emerging more and more news and fears from users that UDST is not backed 1 to 1 by real dollars anymore.
They always said 1 USDT is backed by 1 real USD but in 2019 they changed their wording into "we have enough reserves to cover every Tether printed. But we can not verify those reserves.
3096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best way to get the best gas fees for eth tokens on: March 17, 2021, 11:13:08 AM

The days of the 21 gwei are long gone but we must move forward with the growing demand of cryptos.

Now if sending tokens with a value of $10 will cost your $20 or more in fees this is very uneconomical and I can't take this anymore...I bet you can't take it as well !
So is there a way of calculating the most optimal fees without running out of gas or paying too much? I have used the metamask gas calculator and etherscan gastracker to get estimates but I think these are not cost efficient.

What is the best way to get the best gas fees when moving Eth tokens?

If your transaction is not time critical you can always wait for the gas fees to go down a little. For example at the moment they are quite ok with around 120 gwei. Of course it's still to much but we have to live with fees like that until ETH 2.0 comes around.
I always check https://www.gasnow.org/ as an indicator for the average gas prices of the last days. They are listed for every hour of the last week so you can see at which time of the day the gas fees are usually the lowest. For me in europe it's around 6- 8 am.
3097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: March 17, 2021, 09:51:22 AM
Yesterdays matches sadly went as expected from the view of a neutral viewer. It was clear after 10 Minutes that Gladbach would have no chance to advance to the next round because ManCity was just to strong for them.
An absolute underdog that is completely out of shape for a few weeks now against the favorite that is in great shape is just not a good starting point for an exciting match.
Bergamo played better than Madrid in the beginning but they didn't score an early goal. Then madrid scored and the game was also pretty much done.

Code:
Invalid data hash for block 808874

Also beispielsweise die Befehlszeile  "./xcash-wallet-cli.exe --daemon-address europe1.xcash.foundation:18281" ausführen.
3099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: March 16, 2021, 05:06:08 PM
Both matches today are not that exciting to me. Gladbach played so bad in the first match that ManCity won 2-0 even though they didn't play well themself. At least this should be a safe bet for everyone who bets on ManCity to go through.
I also expect not much from Real vs Atalanta. Real only managed to win 1-0 in the first leg but even though their squad can't be compared to the one from year ago they should still be able to win against Bergamo and reach the quarterfinals.
The odds for a win of real are pretty good in my opinion.
3100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: {Warning} PancakeSwap got hacked!! It's not the only one proejct hacked on BSC! on: March 16, 2021, 12:24:18 PM
Apparently the PancakeSwap got hacked today trough a DNS Hijacking. Binance just released the news that there are more projects on the BSC that are affected. Be careful. Stay alert!!!

A lot of new projects that are launching these days are built on binance smart chain because the fees are so small compared to ETH at the moment.
You pay like 0,15$ worth of bnb on fees at binance smart chain at the moment and like 15$ fees on the ETH-Chain.
But with a huge number of new BSC-projects emerging it is not really surprising, that a few of those projects are rushed and have therefore security issues, they are not more vulnerable just because they are on BSC.
