You will probably get your money back since pre-ordering is against paypals rules. Enjoy! Smiley
3082  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Phoenix Technology SCAM? on: December 05, 2013, 04:53:50 AM
My mistake I just heard that they are working really hard to get the website back up. I also heard they are working hard to get the first batch out. So at this time they are not a scam. I'm sorry if i jump to conclusion. I will update this thread for new info. Thanks.

Just because they say that doesnt mean they are telling the truth. Make sure you spend a few hours researching companies, and if its new create a new thread and get others opinions.
3083  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Blockchain.info safe? on: December 05, 2013, 04:52:26 AM
I think that if your email gets hacked then they can steal your BTC's but im not 100% sure about this. I use coinbase and whatever im probably not going to use I export to a private wallet with no second copy of the private key.

How many eruptors are you talking about? Just so you know, you will never reach ROI if you just start mining.
3085  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why do I keep hearing mining is unprofitable? on: December 05, 2013, 04:49:58 AM
My question is why Smiley

What is affecting the reality of bitoin mining and is not taken into account in the calculator I referenced?

The difficulty rises. The next rise is in 6 days.
3086  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Multi coin wallet? on: December 05, 2013, 04:48:31 AM
Does anyone know a multi coin wallet (ie for bitcoin, litecoin, peercoin etc) that can be downloaded? At the moment i am just on multibit but that is just for bitcoins.

Thanks.

Im not sure there is one, but if so then please let me know as well! Smiley
3087  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What do I do with the source code? on: December 05, 2013, 04:47:13 AM
Are you trying to install it or help improve it? Which OS are you on?
3088  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you think any of the other "alt" currencies will overtake bitcoin? on: December 05, 2013, 04:46:37 AM
Nope, but maybe there is a slight chance (0.00001%) that ltc will take over. Thats if something goes wrong with bitcoin and the same thing doesnt happen to litecoin...
3089  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many lost bitcoins are there? on: December 05, 2013, 04:45:31 AM
I would say about 3 million will never be used or heard of again...

EDIT: Maybe 5...
3090  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buying bitcoin is a pain. on: December 05, 2013, 04:44:47 AM
Well ya, you will have to verify some info and link a bank account. If you want to be anonymous then use http://localbitcoins.com and see if anyone is fine with that.

3096  Economy / Services / Re: Earn up to 0.4BTC/month just by posting! on: December 05, 2013, 01:31:45 AM
Personally, I think it should be OK to link to your own reputation thread and/or to one thread you were selling something in, but obviously Stunna is the boss here and makes the rules, but as others have said, I would like clarification on this.

Small font personal links/bitcoin addresses etc are allowed below signature. No other paid advertisement/ref links

Alright, cool.  No ref links of any sort, right? damn..  Threads on bitcointalk are allowed, no?

Could you also let me know if my current signature is acceptable?

Yes, I think so; Stunna has now clarified that personal websites are allowed.

But he said "small font". Mine is the exact same size as his...
3097  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Introducing Hive, a beautiful new wallet for Mac OS X on: December 05, 2013, 01:27:20 AM
It works! Smiley Do you guys have an ios app (for version 6.0)?
Nope, we haven't even started working on one, and I'm not sure if we will. We'll have to be sure Apple is ok with Bitcoin wallets on iOS, and right now we aren't (there were only 3 so far that I know of, and only one of them is still in the App Store). And we're too busy with the Mac wallet at the moment anyway...

Oh, ok. I read ios in your sig, but didnt realize that you were talking about the frameworks...
3098  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Introducing Hive, a beautiful new wallet for Mac OS X on: December 05, 2013, 01:02:27 AM
That's not the latest version, we've released a new one today - try on that one (update with Hive > Check for Updates).
