NXT-E is a shitty exchange anyway.
Atleast they were clever and added NAS and claimed a 50,000,000 bounty (worth about 10 BTC)

it seems a little complex
Why? You could even just click this link and get started: http://nascoin.org:7876/No need to install anything if you don't want. Also coins are free ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

NXT-E still holds NAS trades on stop...
Any NAS developer around to say anything about this?
Im no developer, but the message is wrong and outdated. The 24hour halt was 2 days ago for no reason, and the trading has already started again. They just forgot to remove it!

I don't think there is anything unique about Blackcoin - it's a Bitclone with PoS (old mechanism) and poor distribution (top 100 wallets control more than 53%. Wallets =/= unique people) and some rhetorical improvements ("faster than Bitcoin, blah blah")
It's currently the pump and dump. Looking back 90 days the PnD used to be mintcoin and vertcoin.
When i posted one hour before it was at 37k now 55k When i posted the first time in this thread it was at 8000 satoshi When i bought my first BC it was at 1250 satoshi So you can talk if u want i buy buy buy!!! And i will quote myself at 100 000! BLAAACKKK COIIINNNNNNNNNNI will quote you!!!!!! 17800 atm! PS: sorry couldn't resist after the big letters

they made a great contribution in Nxt growth on its early days and now they've got a chance to adopt its first child )
Yes! And everyone can participate. We are still giving away atleast 3000 spots to people who want to claim free coins. So all that missed the IPO: Don't miss out on your free stake, it might be very valueable some day!

Hi guys,
Thanks for the Free NAS.
I had installed NAS locally and then transferred the coins to the web wallet.
I see this warning there: Warning!: Your account does not have a public key! This means it's not as protected as other accounts. You must make an outgoing transaction to fix this issue. (send a message, buy an alias, send Nas, ...)
I attempted doing all 3 options listed but I get an error about server side bytes.
Any ideas?
Btw, what does "forging" means?
I would stick to the local client! Just buy an alias with the new client. Localhost:7876 This will work! lol, I am stuck now, cannot transfer the coins back from the web wallet to my "local" wallet as per errors described. If I buy an alias from my "local" wallet that means by using my web wallet account ID they are linked? If yes can you please send me 1 or 2 coins (needs a coin to buy an alias)? address: 7ZWL-MN56-3HUY-6EZYZ Thanks Hello, You don't need to make a new account. Just use the password, you used on the webwallet, and type it into your local wallet. You will have instant access to you wallet ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Invested 1.5 BTC because your tech really gets to the heart of why cryptos haven't spread that much: security and speed. Add ease of use to your "paranoid" security and you'll have one helluva coin.
Allow me to introduce myself to everyone as Investor #151.
Thanks! I'll do my best. ---- And with 75 investors we surpassed NXT. It's good, because people still bash NXT for small number of initial investors. Total investments at this point: 43 BTC yeah, well but 75 isn't much better either ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Devs, I have a proposal for you: please change the ports of client. I run both NXT and NAS on the same PC and sometimes I notice that blocks do not refresh on both.
The default API and UI server ports seem to be the same for NAS and NXT (API: 7876; UI: 7875). These are normally local to the user, and you can change them in the conf file. It makes sense that NAS chooses different ports so users can install and run both without modifying config files. The default peer-to-peer ports are already different (NXT: 7874; NAS: 7872), and that should be what dictates whether blocks refresh? exactely. I tried running both softwares and they forged side by side for hours without problems!

NAScoin would do well to have:
Logo Contest
UI Contest for the Client.
The UI contest should be held after so a consistent UX can be achieved.
What do you think?
We will have to decide on a logo, but lets not rush things! The logo will also be implemented into the client, or what do you mean?

What about Indonesian? But it's seem a lot of Indonesian name already claim. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) too small, I guess. Lets stick to the list, but you can spread the word to a different forum or social media and claim an extra bounty!

I'm not against full pos given out to people, however just need to give it out to more than 11 people. Can't be that hard to get some method of distribution that does way better than that.
Right here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563972.0I may even do this myself (yes I can code Java), but I'm just busy with a lot of different things right now. that is not a good way.... it serves to enrich the already rich only and cuts out noobs to crypto entirely. Just because people are BTC wealthy does not entitle them to gain unfair advantage in new alt coin opportunities. We need to find a much fairer way than that. I bet if you come up with a fair way, that doesn't intrude peoples privacy, you could make an awesome coin! Noone has been able to find a good approach!

Wait, I thought this was the NEM thread ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) ? So did we. Just my opinion, but it's on the shoulders of UP, the devs etc to keep this thread on track. That was one of the reasons the main Nxt thread was so successful. When was the last time Utopianfuture posted here? Do you want to dance ? Do you personally also miss the dynamic of the old NXT thread? I think it would be awesome for this community, if this could be the new "big thread".

Heads-Up To NEMers: I would like to draw your attention to the 2nd announcement thread for Community Coin. The original post was made only ten days ago. The thread now has over two hundred pages. This bodes very well for NEM. As the Community Coin thread shows, stakeholders get unbelievably enthusiastic when they get coins through a more-or-less fair process. I suggest you browse through that thread and see if you can pick up some rally points for the Big Launch Day. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Oh...an 'umble request to the devs: Could you shoot an Email to Graviton at Dgex and discuss how to make NEM straightforward for him to list? Graviton's listed NAS, and I'm sure he'd be pleased to list NEM. Myself I would love to pimp NEM through my Dgex siglink once launch day arrives! This is very interesting at all! It seems that people understand that community is much stronger that just coin(s) Yeah...and there's another reason that erupted after my first post. The dev bobbled by losing somewhere in the range of 180 million COMM because one of his hard drives got fried. At first, the community took it in stride, but later in the morning a trollstorm erupted. Word to the wise. Because those fuckers lied..... They said at first they lost all access to his wallet: http://www.coinexplorers.com/address/CKGK6MFmBkreG7k5sU8gDEJNVJ57QZtN3HThen suddenly they do have access, after the communitycoin project starts to dwindle?? Sounds fishy to me. Well atleast now they don't run with the coins...

So with the NXTcoin vanilla API could you run a MMO that uses the coin as currency in the virtual world?
If not, will the NAScoin API allow that?
So to "buy the game" for this feature one would generate an identity that costs a certain amount of coins, which would then be allowed to logon through the NAScoin protocol to access the game servers, game market etc.
That would be a cool feature to have. It would mean any MMO could just use the NAScoin API and convert the payment for services or the game itself using a floating or fixed rate to their own in game or pegged perhaps directly to fiat currency rates using a NAScoin to fiat service. Would something like that be possible?
This sounds most certainly possible, but also I don't see a reason, why this wouldn't be possible with NXT? Just message the NAS_coin dev and ask him ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) or maybe start your own MMO project. Might be a good business Idea!
